This is thread where the Skyrim nerds of all Tameril can discuss the game. Personally I think Dawnbreaker is the best sword in the game.

Ah, Dawnbreaker, fantastic sword. I had been dual-weilding it with Dragonbane for a while after switching from using two-handed weapons, but I'm taking a break from using Dragonbane and going with the legendary dragonbone sword I just forged.

I still use Dawnbreaker twenty levels after getting it thanks to its usefulness against vampires and Draugr.

I didn't really like Skyrim. Except in graphics, Oblivion was better.

Clairvoyance and Candlelight have to be my favourite spells in the game. They are so unbelievably useful.

Skyrim was way too easy. I was one-shotting dragons with my crossbow on "master" difficulty. I honestly prefer either oblivion or morrowind to it, although perhaps I just enjoy oblivion better because that was my first TES. The dungeons were even more repetitive than in oblivion, and there was absolutely no variety in enemies. I did enjoy the mage's college quest line; it was fun but again: disappointingly easy.

Plus it sets stuff on fire. I love weapons that do that, like my sweet ebony warhammer of the blaze.

Am I the only one twitching over the fact that the OP misspelled Tamriel?

Also Dawnbreaker is not a good sword. If you want a good one-handed weapon, go with either the Dragonbone Sword or Chillrend.

And Oblivion's DB/ Thieves Guild quest lines actually required you to be sneaky.

Clearly, the OP wants to be popular by referencing a very good game that he has never played.

Skyrim is my absolute favorite game. I managed to get my Breton mage up to 39, but the other mages in the game seem to object to my existence. And I get distracted with new characters and changing their career paths. Also, dedicated Harbinger to the Companions and Archmage with my main.

No, but I figured it nice to play along with it.

Skyrim was made for casual gamers, what can you expect?
I personally preferred Morrowind, where you could kill vital NPC's and totally screw over your entire progress. That was a game with *actual* consequences.

Yeah seriously. The only assassination I had difficulty with was the wedding crash one; and that was just because the guards somehow managed to spot me on top of the castle and then out of nowhere I get backup? Was pretty silly. I also found it amusing that despite my 100%+ resistance to poison the arrow managed to knock me out.

I started playing The Elder Scrolls with Skyrim. I have Oblivion, because I bought it on a deal, but I haven't played it yet. I have to admit, it does feel a bit 'boring' being some overpowered demigod who can shout at enemies, call dragons, be head of the Companions, the College, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, at the same time of course, have Mega-Enchanted Daedric Armour whilst carrying an insta-kill Dragonbone Sword enchanted with the black soul of <insert characters you really hate>. Oh yes, and be the Champion for pretty much all the Daedric lords, despite a number of them hating each other.
