The Federal Republic of Romulum, under the auspices of the Virgicine Commonwealth in Azuran, has declared itself an ally of the Xinjia colonial government and the Commonwealth being recently admitted to the United Forces of Azuran or UFA.

The newly-established State has made its recent statement that 'it will not involve itself in any conflict, unless provoked by the situation'. The Commonwealth has been seeking for better relations with the UFA as their bulwark increases and their influence in the Continent remains superb. However, the Great Quirina Republic has directly nothing to do with the decisions of the Commonwealth in its internal affairs, but only will make decisions as the ultimate consultation.

The GAP goes on to expand more of Quirina's world leadership

The Greater Annexation Project, or so-called GAP2013, is claimed by the Consulissimo of the GQR that it is still on the process and ongoing. After major criticisms from political analysts and the clamoring populace, it might be suspended or withdrawn.

The GAP2013 is a project initiated by Consulissimo Charles Alexander I after he economic instability of the Virgicine Commonwealth in Azuran. He also clearly stated that it is not only territorial expansion that the GAP 2013 aims for, but also economic growth.

Quirina continues influence in Asia-Europe sphere
The legacy of Quirina's forefathers still stands strong

The Great Quirina Republic is still the powerhouse economy of Europe. Since the incumbency of Charles Alexander I, the structurization of the large dominion of Quirina was stabilized for a long time. The people had been divided in supporting his policies. Most of his activities he conducted were focused on the internal affairs, with small focus on the expanse development and military expenses and others.

Quirina's greatest pride still grows strong

The Quirina National Armed Forces, the independent military arm of the Great Republic for many years, will now undergo enormous sets of reforms after a century and a half's persistent structure and capability in serving the Republic.

The Minister of War and Defense himself announced that the military "must undergo such change in order to cope up with the threats of the modern world." This was approved by the Senate and the Consulissimo himself, saying that the "military has grown big and must be led with a powerful hand." Such an intriguing remark, speculations came in that the military might leave the government service and be a private corporation but this was wrong, thanks to the additional words of the Consulissimo, saying that "a bunch of volunteers and conscripts will never be a private service."

Recently, debate of local arms production holds Quirina divided whether they still rely on other nations' products or start to produce their own firearms and armaments.

The Great Korean Empire joins Quirina Republic

The Great Korean Empire, the former adversary of the Great Quirina Republic on their war four years ago, was admitted in the Republic as an independent nation after diplomatic guises conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Relations and the Magistracy of the Consulissimo.

After a series of talks, the GKE joins the GQR as both nations agreed on terms of admission:
- The GKE will be granted the Southeast Asian Federation
- In return, GKE joins the GQR

In an interview, the Consulissimo emphasized that this is not an imperialist move, since both nations had mutual benefit, unlike the imperialist system where only the dominator 'have all the graces'. Until now, the GKE is rebuilding itself as a prosperous state, and with the admission to the Republic, the power of both nations will be much stronger.

GQR forces warn Einserdvan colonials
Virgicum's admission now brings war tides to anti-UFA nations

The Einserdvan forces ended the ceasefire, thus making the Virgicine Commonwealth State Armed Forces (VCSAF) to take action, however, by a warning.

The VCSAF warned the Einserdvan colonial forces not to attack the Konstantinyean oil stations. But it was too late. The VCSAF instead mobilized their defences and merged the two fleets nearby the coordinates near the Einserdvan invading fleet.

The uncertainty of success in the conflict is foreseen, given the fact the Virgicum is just a new state in GQR that has a messed-up economy, slow growth of income and enormous pay on national armed forces.

GQR forces started Einserdvan colony assault
Virgicum's first war begins today

After not heeding the warning imposed by the Commonwealth, the Virgicine government started their Operation that is also connected to the GAP2013, a government project that involves massive expansion of territorial bounds of the Republic.

The Far North Fleet started to conduct their amphibious assaults at the northern shorelines of the Einserdvan colony, while ten Air cavalry brigades headed out to conduct a surprise landing attack over their colonial capital. However, the Einserdvan colony was ceded over to the Kardelian Republic. Beyond such events, the assault was carried out.

Nachfolgia joins as GQR brother-state
A new brother, an old legacy continues.

The Reichesmilitarstaat of Nachfolgia signed the highest form of foreign agreement with the Great Quirina Republic to be its brother-state and conjoined as closely-tied states.

The Nachfolgian government agreed with the terms of the GQR despite their past conflicts concerning policies and actions over Europe. The terms agreed upon were: (1) Economic transformation, (2) Strengthening the military, (3) Free-form of government and politics and (4) Unique and exclusive cultural identity.

Other states that recently concluded closer ties with GQR are the Stratocratic Republic of Jaweza and the Great Imperial State of The Great Korean Empire, thus being called "brother-states" as well.

Virgicum forces annex N Eins, Ugazagaztan colony
VCSAF now shows their power over the continent

From a small warning, it turned out that the northern half of the Einserdvan colony in Azuran fully conquered by the Virgicine forces. As of 12:09 AM, the Virgicine Far North Fleet declared that all Marine forces had reached the capital and captured all settlements at the North after spreading out to hoist the flags of GQR in their homes. The Air cavalry regiments then finally destroyed the small armed resistance after they had landed in the capital city of the colony itself. The Senate of the VC applauded the efforts of the military in "sharing the freedom and glory of GQR".

The Colony of Ugazagaztan in Azuran had been declared "annexed" after some classified events occurred between CoV and Ugaz. There had been no talks since the day of Ugaz annexation.

The Consulissimo released a statement regarding such chain of events in Azuran, saying "that the Virgicum Commonwealth is now raising its bars, from a profit-deprived nation, to a conquerer's footstool". He is very proud of the achievements of his term and even joked about "dying peacefully".

The Commonwealth Dominion of Virgicum in Azuran is ever increasing in size. The former landlocked area now had several ports transported via supply airlifts from Ber-Asurina to Virgicum and back.

The economy grew large as the Ugazir colony produced much compared the last governance that held the colony there. The Commonwealth is maximizing all its efforts to bring more of what the Continent can offer for them. More businesses opeend and industries began to rise rapidly. This was considered the "First Development Era" of Virgicum.

Britannine Catholics abhor Ralkovian 'rats'
Ralkovia is a 'boiling pot' of Jewish protection

The Catholic adherents at Britannina were appalled and abhorred what manner that the Ralkovian empire treated the Slavic-Jewish peoples of Bozhyegogneva by declaring a state of war against them.

According to international feeds, the Bozhyegogneva government wanted to evacuated the Muslim refugees while a war is happening to deport them all. But the Empire of Ralkovia opposed the act the of the Bozhyegogneva Dominion and declared a war. The Britannines pleaded for war to "finish off Ralkovia and shut his hole and be chopped back to Hell, in ashes." Only a few percentage supported to halt the call of the people to go to war with Ralkovia, but the Holy Imperial Crown has no reason nor any given statement about the matter. Instead, they arranged a large meeting with all the nation-members of GQR to settle such issue with Britannina.

The people of Quirina called for snap elections and clamored for the immediate replacement of Consulissimo Charles Alexander I as the Head of State. This was the first time The Triumphant Trumpet had covered such news.

There were rumors of disbelief and discontent over the course of actions of the Consulissimo as he set the agenda of the Republic in expanding the Quirinese realm through both diplomacy in force, "with the pen in his right, and a sword in his left hand", according to Charles. His First Consul, Alexander Stephano Comnenus, a prominent noble from a Quirini-Byzantine lineage, mentioned his intention to run and be elected by the people, "if the people will permit him". His father, the Consulissimo, refused to give further comments prior to his son's goals and plans.

Causes of the call for snap elections were practical and futuristic to the people's perspective. Main reasons that echoed the most was the surprise constituency of Quirina in the Imperium Antiquum Kylarnatiae, the Greater Annexation Project and the deployment of standing armed forces from Quirinq directly, instead of relying to continental defense forces and individual nation's forces, which was defended by Charles as "necessary, acceptable, and legal".

The Head of State is the Consulissimo of the Quirina Republic, with a Prime Minister and the Minister of State, who both share the Headship of Government of Quirina in Sondria and the rest of the world.

The Grand Imperial Dominion of Avorez, one of the longest trading partners of the Quirina Republic since the founding of Britannina, became now an independent part of the Quirina Republic after signing the treaty, thanks to the diplomatic entourage that became an initial success.

Now, The Grand Imperial Dominion is still recognized as an independent nation with added privileges -- military and economic boost, higher government service quality, reduced corruption status and many more sudden growth and changes that imbue the prosperity and serenity for the Imperial Dominion.

Long live the Republic, the people said

After the seven-year long term of Curule President Charles Alexander ti Quirinus-Comnenus, the people voted last three months ago their new leader for the Great Quirina Republic. Both the Senate house and the polling precincts around the world were given a chance to vote for their new potential leaders; the candidates were Chancellor Alexander Ferthem, First Consul Alexander Stephano ti Quirinus-Comnenus, and Secretary of State Stephen Mark Comnenus.

The voting process was simple; whoever has the highest number of votes shall win the highest position, in a particular order, with the second winner having the second highest post, and so on. The Federalist-Nationalist Coalition and Alliance, the largest political machine in Quirina, hailed their support to the First Consul, while the Britannines and the other Quirinese parties supported the Chancellor, while leftwing elements spoke their support for the Secretary of State.

Quite peaceful, but most of the small incursions caused by left-wing radicals deterred by the Federal Police, the elections was a general success. The results were: incumbent First Consul had 52% of the total votes, incumbent Chancellor had 25%, and incumbent Secretary of State had 23% of the total votes. After three days of vote count, the proclamation was held and the inauguration went on the next day.

In Alexander's inaugural speech, he quoted, "My uncle was not one of the great rulers, but the greatest Quirina ever had. He materialized everything he envisioned: A strong government, a progressing economy, a lasting peace, a higher living standard. With me and the people, now I say, let's continue forward."

The legislatures of Viktorika, the largest military sector in the GQR, and the Viktorikan-sponsored states might get their hands on for the fight to defend their Comrades in SR.

After careful deliberations, The Great Republic of Quirina, along with a Senate proclamation and the support of the Magistracy, concluded that the sovereign independent nations relying with Quirina's benefits are now classified as members of the "Fraternas Confederation", a decentralized but tight league of nations formed through the the diplomatic efforts of the Great Quirina Republic, separate from the allied nations tied through the knots of the Ministry of Foreign Relations.

The Senate proclamation states that "nations offered with larger benefits such as economic boost, military upgrade, governmental independence and many others are to be formed in a separate circle that will unite themselves in a common cause that Quirina pursues for the world." Rustonian delegations helped to conceptualize the new name of the Confederation as the structure was conceptualized by the Quirinese delegates. Although not yet in public, the structure of the Confederation was largely diverse and seemed to be non-existent and affirm to common democratic values beyond far differences.

Today, there are seven founding member nations called "Brother-Nations" in the Confederation, namely (and in chronological order) Quirina, the founding member, Jaweza, The Great Korean Empire, Nachfolgia, Avorez, South Rothinzil and Rustonia. Aleki Senate spurred with debates about westward expansion by GR Senate
The regional affairs is in GAP's boiling pot

The Senate of the Confederacy of Aleki, with the support of the Kiuli Confederacy, was spurred with debates after its recent proposal forwarded to the Great Republic Senate last 3rd of December 2013.

The Federalist-Nationalists panel of the Alekian Senate proposed the resolution of expanding the Confederacy of Aleki's borders to the west of their country, prospecting to occupy the eastern mainland of New Samarinda. The resolution also has programs and budget lists that will cover the resolution's effectivity, including the military order of battle that will be used for the implementation of the resolution, and a campaign map if ever peaceful resort to idealize Alekian expansion.

The Great Republic Senate amassed the Alekian delegation with questions of doubt and invalidation as majority of the GRS were against the proposition, given that there is still an ongoing setbacks at the "Red Hammer Force" against the Gulf Empire and that the Fraternas Confederation was still in its early days.

After reviewing reports of terrorist attacks at Rephesus, the government of Quirina finally broke the silence as the controversy in Quirina's government suddenly sparked after months of secrecy from intelligence reports away from the media's radar.

The 'Q' suitcase, one of the most controversial objects of criticism to Quirina's credibility in regional affairs, national security and espionage capability, sparked a widespread debate about the government's actions of defending the region's interests, especially after the formation of the Fraternas Confederation and admission to the Imperium.

There were many naysayers and defenders in the heated debate whether it was Quirina's actions, or just pure coincidence. The side of the antagonists from the peoples' side of the story suspected the government to be "too aggressive to undertake progressive measures and spread the word of their new-formed alliance, which brings newer problems to Quirina's neutrality in regional affairs." On the contrary, the defending side only mentioned "the government as a subject of everyday criticism and the 'Q' suitcase is only one of the objects of everyday critique against the government from the opposition elements in the administration of Alexander."

Political analyst Stephen Marshall mentioned that there were specific disadvantages in the controversy: the government's lessened credibility to sustain a reputable espionage ability, weakened capability to ensure national security, lessened reputation in regional affairs, and the trust of the people to their government.

GQR Senate proposes FC chapters, wants Imperium separation
The organizational developments for both the GQR and FC begins

To further expand the word of Brotherhood, the Great Republic Senate of Quirina proposed a resolution to the Fraternas Confederation, a separate league of nations closely tied with Quirina as part of his so-called 'brother-state system' of leadership in the world affairs, to establish chapter networks in his Brother-Nations' respective regions to expand the cause of the Confederation. But tied with it is the immediate utter separation from the Imperium's mantle of influence, seeing obviously that it will hinder the extra-regional activities of the FratConfed in the long run.

According to the GRS resolution, "there will be changes and those changes needed to be considered a long-term goal for the Confederation to survive. It will be necessary that the expansion of the influence of Brotherhood in other regions and parts of the world must practice self-sufficiency and independence from any higher power, since the Brotherhood was formed to share its benefits to other members of the Confederation and in the end, the success which we hold dear the most, will be attainable and possible."

However, the Brotherhood is yet to deliver their official joint statement regarding the secession from the Imperium's indirect authority and the further expansion of influence to other regions.

GQR Chancellor Stephen Comnenus stated in an interview that "whatever the decision of the FratConfed will be supported by the GR government and that it can be optionally implemented depending on the circumstances and events happening in a single country in Quirina."

From an interview with the Curule President, he mentioned that "Quirina's countries in Sondria -- Quirinalia, Aleki, Kiuli, Britannina, Augustanica, Viktorika, and Athanasia -- and Rustonia in particular are the only nations bounded by the Imperium's mantle, not the nations outside Sondria". And according also to him, "if the Imperium claims authority at any bounds to any nation in Quirina outside Sondria, the FC will not hesitantly separate from the Imperium's bounds anytime it wants so."

The Fraternas Confederation was formed three months ago after South Rothinzil delegates requested to the GQR Senate of forming a separate bloc of nations that will give confidence to the brother-nations that they are still an independent nation. This was considered and moved to make FC exist. Rumors of re-arranging the overall government came in as SR and Rustonia made their share of governmental progress for Quirina's overall leadership.

Quirina sees more progress away from the Imperium's bounds

The Magistracy of the Great Republic has approved the proposed resolution of the GR Senate regarding the petition to the Imperium through the Imperial Consul of the Kylarnatian Old Empire. The petition is not only targeted to the departure of Quirina from the Imperium, but rather organizational glitches and avoidance from any diplomatic intrigues the Quirina-Imperium relations may occur in the future. The Fraternas Confederation as a whole is still in quorum to make their clear decision in leaving the Imperium.

The Curule President, with the First Consul and the Chancellor and the Cabinet members, stated their thoughts about what the petition is all about. "The petition was simple: Quirina, like what it was as it entered the Imperium, will and must leave the auspices of the Old Empire immediately. The said letter has inscribed all the matters that the Imperium lacks upon in fostering greater care in the relations with the Fraternas (Confederation) and the Great Republic itself."

"First point is the lack of coordination in pursuing greater and larger networks that the Great Republic had prepared for the prospect member-nations to be brother-nations of the FratConfed. Second is the lack of participation of the Imperium in defending South Rothinzil during its time of invasion by the Gulf Empire. Third is the frightening number of nations protesting against the membership of the GQR in the Imperium. Fourth is the vacuum of Imperial economy from the Quirinese economy. Fifth is the unorganized structure and relations between the Great Republic and the Imperium in handling important matters. Sixth is the problem in reassuring Quirina's independence from Imperium's authority, which was the root cause of protests from other governments in Quirina. And lastly is the growing influence of the Fraternas that needs to be solidified and therefore be emancipated from the Imperium's mantle of control." The Curule President stated as he generalized points in the petition. "We will still uphold our Constitution no matter what happens to Quirina, since Quirina is not a single nation the world always thinks of." He added.

The First Consul Alberthine Ferthem held the copy of the document as it was being forwarded to the Imperial Consulate's office at any moment. The points clearly elaborated each with certain events that serves as evidence in leaving the Imperium.

Moreover, Chancellor Comnenus stated in the conference that, "if ever the petition will be denied or unaccepted, we will wait for the 31st of December for the contract with the Imperium to expire, since our membership is only a trial if the Imperium can really handle the Quirinese affairs that good. Seven months ago, the Fraternas Confederation was formed because of the demands of the South Rothinzilian delegation in the Great Republic Senate to 'form an alliance of nations separate from the government and from its affairs'. Such demand was followed suit, with 30 Quirinese nations agreeing to the resolution. The name, conceptualized with the Rustonian delegation, became known as the "Fraternas". With the good intention to spread the Pillars of the Brotherhood, the FC petitions to be released from the shackles of the Imperium, which is still a pending case to be heard from the Caesar of the Old Empire, by the end of December, the expiration date of the contract.

The 3rd Pan-Leadership Summit is an annual event for all leader-status individuals in the Quirina Republic in a larger scale, especially political and military leaders. The program went into a parliamentary procedure, with democratic guises and special ceremonies, like holding up the fasces to signify the ratification of a new law for a certain nation. The event was a program to finish all legislative processes held hanged in the Senate for a long time. Overall, it was a success.

An interview from the Curule President was being broadcasted live in television to hear his thoughts about the recent events, with only two words, "We'll see." The First Consul and the Chancellor mentioned that the Curule President will speak his thoughts of the recent events in the 198th celebration of the founding of the Quirina Federal Republic, a former government of Quirina formed during 1815 AD.

Security tightens as the celebration ticks near

QUIRINALIA, F.C. - As the hours close in for the celebration of the 198th founding anniversary of the Federal Republic, the Quirina National Armed Forces had announced the deploymeny of defense forces to assure the security as the celebrations enter the atmosphere of the Republic.

Today, most 90% of the armed forces of each State in Quirina had deployed their armed forces, with Viktorika as a military communist state holding the most number of armed forces in the country. The Pendragonians hold the second place while the rest are at the lower levels, but still in millions to make the celebration a success.

Military thinkers, strategists, commanders, and even military scholar spearheaded the planning of the defense for the celebrations while some military forces from allied nations, especially the Macedonians, will arrive in the country at the right moment. Other nations of Quirina will send their dispatches and make sure the event will be a success.

The Imperium military compound, as ordered by the Chancellor of the Great Republic, is now completely surrounded with Quirinalian troops to make sure no foreign activity will take place during the celebration. There were lots of battalions, divisions, squadrons and naval task forces already deployed within the Quirinese borders to assure the safety of the celebrants.

South Rothinzil forefather dies at 76
A great leader of a great nation has finally ended his journey to Triumph

CANYDECIA - The first leader of the South Rothinzilians, General Vallen Brehon died at the age of 76 , the first and the only military commander of the South Rothinzilian Armed Forces with the rank of "General" had passed away while he is on his way to a mission in Kovuska, Gretin.

According to the reports, the commander was ambushed of his convoy while he sets his way in the city's streets to conduct an independent military operation. Gunfights followed until the general was caught dead, bloodied with gunshots and killed. A theory rose from the statement of the surviving soldiers that accompanied the general that it was the Gretinans who killed Brehon, but investigations are still clearing up the details.

A statement was released by the Chancellor of Quirina about the incident that was brought up to his concern. "The people of South Rothinzil deserve justice as this tragedy came upon their books in history. We shall assist them in anyway we can as we call other Quirinese nations to do their part to help their allies and friendly related nations in this midst of crisis." The Minister of Intelligence of the Federal Republic of Quirinalia will offer the Rothinzilian authorities a hand by handing them over UAV surveillance photographs of the incident to verify such atrocity.

The President of South Rothinzil William the Righteous Sr. called his country for a seven-day mourning in honor of the fallen general.

QUIRINALIA, F.C. - The Curule President of the Great Quirina Republic declared in a live television broadcast that the Nation and the lordship with the Kylarnatian Old Imperium are now considered separated from the Caesar's exercise of authority. Prior to the Magistracy Decree No. 23 that "all entities and subjects of the Imperium in Quirina are given a three-day departure to leave the territorial bounds of Sondrian Quirina."

President Alexander Comnenus said in the broadcast being replayed several times in this week, every three o-clock in the afternoon, "...The Great Quirina Republic, and his former ally and master, the Old Empire of Kylarnatia", are considered as separate sovereign nations prior to the closure of the Agreement No. 98 (the secret agreement between Quirina and Imperium) signed by both nations during the term of the former Consulissimo Charles Alexander I. All entities and properties of the Imperium in Quirina and all its bounds shall be subject for total removal, else it will be considered as property of the Magistracy of the Great Republic. The Ambassador and her properties and retinues shall be requested to leave the Senate Halls before the Senate itself becomes enraged of her presence, thus symbolically and literally ending this irritant relations with the Imperium. All embassies and consulates in the country in connection to the properties of the Imperium will be ordered to be dismantled. After the three-day deadline, and the Imperium failed to remove all their presence in our land, the Armed Forces will be happy to fulfill their duty to remove them and acquire them as new properties..." The Chancellor and the First Consul agreed as the three were shown in the television screen, with the President at the center.

The surrounded Imperium military compound was a pressing issue. Clearly surrounded and left out by their commanders abroad, the Quirinese military saw one action -- a planned assault to annihilate their presence. The High Military Command gave no comment about such rumors, but the public surely saw this as the sole remedy to remove them out of their lands.

Sarrin, Relimmaark eyed for Quirinese subjugation
"It is necessary, it is a defensive measure, not an imperialist stance" --Chancellor

QUIRINALIA, F.C. - The Chancellor of Quirina announced new plans to include the Republic of Sarrin and the Democratic Republic of Relimaark as new incorporated states in the already-larger Quirina Republic. The Curule President himself gave no comment about such plan, since the Chancellor is only concerned in the country's alarming stance towards toleration to unrecognized foreign presence of the Imperium lately.

Chancellor Stephen Mark Comnenus gave his word that he will diplomatically reside his thoughts and promises to the Sarrinian and Relimaarkan governments about Quirina's states' privileges in joining their Republic. The two separate independent states are yet to reveal their side. But the contrary was ever mentioned, with spreading rumors of small defense mobilization in the isles of Sarrin as cruisers and naval dispatches were spotted via satellite imagery from Viktorikan satellites and Pendragonian UAVs, warning the Quirinalian movements to be deemed necessary for an armed conflict, which the Chancellor and the Magistracy begs to evade.

A diplomat was sent to Sarrin and to Relimaark to have a dialogue with the Chancellor for a possible peaceful solution to conclude a mutual agreement with their interests at hand.

Diplomacy is the first remedy for a necessity.

VILLA QUIRINA, F.C. - Dialogues with the Sarrin and Relimaark governments started last week as the three nations discussed matters of concern relating to defense and economy.

The Curule President cleared to the news agencies that diplomatic exchanges were currently underway as the concerned governments negotiate about the changing political tides of the region.

One of the major highlights of the exchange is the admission of the two nations to the Republic, which was offered to them with lots of benefits that will last many generations for each nation to prosper with. The offer was admittedly unmissable and very much pleasing.

After three hours of dialogue of the three leaders, they concluded that the Sarrin and Relimaark will be forming their Transitional Councils (composed of the government officials of the admitted government and few delegates from Quirina) to smoothly be incorporated into the Republic prior to the dialogue earlier.

The Transition is composed of four phases: Military protection phase (where troops enter the capital city to secure it from external threats as the commander of the troops will declare in the capital city that all armed forces are now part of the Republic government and their nation's government), Civil phase (where civilian officials enter the country and declared that all government offices that constitute the civilian body except the executive branch of government will be considered part of the Republic and national government in reorganization), Economic phase (where trade vessels enter the country to start setting up their businesses and submit to local offices proper documents to initiate commercial activities in the country), and the Independence phase (where the executive branch pledges oath of allegiance and the rest of the remaining parts of the government left untouched in the past phases to the Republic).
