Apparently a growing number of Republicans are using the Wilsonian method of debate in congress, which is essentially yelling "I object!" Everytime someone who isn't a republican opens their mouth.

More or less affirming what Joe Klein said about them awhile back, the GOP has become a party of nihilists, who would rather see democracy break down than lose control over it. I'd also like to say that I love Rep. Dingell, from my home state of Michigan keeping his cool while this infantile crap was pulled in front of him, yet still having the guts to kick the bum out for acting like a 5-year-old who doesn't want to take a nap.

Anyway, what does NSG think?

The Republicans have become children. They used to be a respectable, well oiled political machine. This leadership crisis has destroyed them.

The fact that one sound beating caused their collapse is astonishing.

But from a nuetral point of view I feel that the Democrats are just as bad. Sure the republicans may yell "I object" when Democrats talk but Democrats yell "Racist" whenever Republicans try to argue with them.
