Language of Your Nation

What would you imagine the language of your nation would be? Any reason why?

I kind of picture Zulu for mine... No reason why, except that it's one of my favorite languages.

I'm guessing proto Semitic, proto Greek, proto Italo-Celtic, Nostratic, or a combination thereof. With names like 'Zakir Sezadu,' 'Bespin Tubari,' 'T'blis Oltavi,' 'Mavino,' 'Sergio Mazetti,' and 'Sabadin Mylxnori,' you tell me. (fyi, I do list languages in my factbook, but I wanna hear others ideas;))

The official language of Sarzonia is English.

When I first started playing this game, I and my characters used American English. Now, I and my characters use a bastardised version of British English.

Outside of East Congaree, the languages used in the Confederate Empire are extremely varied and different from place to place.

Chinese, Traditional is for paper work and recreation but Simplified is used in financial,global,and casual events and matters. Although Korean and German from foreigners create a small percent.

Celtic isn't a language. However, Gaelic is a langauge category, Welsh is a language, and Breton is a language.

English and Jibberish. We think of Jibberish as the language of the land, and English as the language of business. Though it wouldn't be hard to find a Jibberish Purist, who believes other languages are inferior to Jibberish.

English is the only language allowed to be spoken in schools, with the exception of ESL Assimilation schools, where early education and some explanations can be given in another language. Using another language for any other purpose, including conversation, in these schools is prohibited.

The use of dialectal or improper English in public is prohibited.

In some countries' back histories, England very much existed. I base most of my nation's history on having it secede from the United States.
