You can argue the treatment all you want, but it is blatently obvious that today they are much better off then the cesspool that is modern Africa, ever since decolonisation.

Just compare to the Chinese railroad workers, who got treated as slaves, but came over willingly. They then spent their money trying to get their entire families over.

And women, for the most part, can still look forward to fewer opportunities for advancement than men. We can still look forward to working full time out of the home and then coming home and doing all the housework. We can still look forward to getting paid 3/4 of what men get paid for equal work. And, finally, we have an African-American President but we don't have, and probably won't have a female president for another fifty years - if this country lasts that long. Get over yourself and stop whining.
