Robot War Games [IC/Signup]

Letter to all Governments of the world:

The Jingoistic States of Crabulonia has recently surveyed a planet, abandoned aeons ago by an alien race. How fortunate that this planet happens to now be abandoned, rich in minerals, historical value and free space! We have now decided however, after our recent aquistion of robots that we would decide to test them and this planet seems a good enough area for it. We invite all nations who have battle robots to join us in a War Game, the winner gaining this new planet!

Rules
1. 1000 robots only, no replacements or reserves.
2. No nukes or any other outside help from any nation.
3. No organic or semi-organic soldiers. Any robotic race should still obsere the 1000 robot cap. The one allowance of this rule is that every 500 km squared there will be one engineer station. (engineers to be supplied by each country involved and financed by any sponsors, engineer stations are neutral, attack on engineer stations - whether working or not - will result in the disqualification of the offender of this rule)
4. The Abandoned Capital City - as of yet unnamed - should be avoided for conflict as it contains a wealth of information which could be of interest in the name of cuture or the history of this lost race.

We would be happy to have the Interstellar Empire of Old Tyrannia involved in our Robot War Games. The reason why we have decided to open up the floor and have a war game as opposed to claiming the planet is that Chief General Valiente, our highest command of the army, is getting on a bit and as opposed to interviewing people he is going to put them in charge of various war games. He decided specifically that war games should take place between the potential candidates and other nations as other nations have more experienced Generals who can prove the real ability of the prospective Chief Generals.

As long as you abide by all the rules then we would be honoured to have you involved in our war games.

OOC: I was wandering around the forums when I spotted a good-looking Robot War games thread. Any chance I could join? It seems that Stalingradstanberg has yet to make an appearance. Would it be possible to take his place?

ooc: while i've got no problem with it you'd have to ask old tyrannia, we have started and we have begun conflict so not sure if typically war games have people join in commonly. i think another one might get arranged at some other point.

The idea is that this is supposed to be a war game, mainly for my nation to test out its new battlebots and test a General who may be up for the top job of Chief General. So due to this I'm afraid we can't accept new candidates. I'll have another one at some point maybe.

No it won't. Take the Zulu for example. Their only type of soldier was a spear and shield wielding warrior, but yet they defeated a British army that used guns and cannons.
