Brooks: "Sales of Warhammer 40,000 merchandise have been skyrocketing for the past week. It's estimated that revenue has reached as high as 3.8 million credits total. Economic experts have theorized that the Commonwealth's recent admittance into the Imperial Combine may have played a major role in this consumer craze. It has been so popular that several fan conventions have sprung up across the country with people cosplaying as everything from Imperial Commissars and Planetary Defense Force Troopers to parades of Space Marines, complete with armor sculpted out of styrofoam blocks. There was even a mock battle between two rival groups of Ultramarines and Blood Ravens in the fields outside the Capital City just yesterday. They were fighting, of course, with paintball guns and not real weapons for obvious safety reasons, but it was still quite a sight. It remains inconclusive as to which side actually won."

Over the Weekend The Congaree Invasion of Shataristan has taken a turn for the worst, A Frontline of Shataristan-Combine Troops has been Established and the Congaree Troops are outnumbered. The War should be won soon and the support has been Gracious to us." He then Got President Ali Adeel to Interview. "Mr President, you have recently been libarated from a Terrorist Prison, What was it like knowing that you may die?." President Adeel looked up at him and said.
"Well, First i knew my Loyal Countrymen and Allies would not leave me to die in a Hellhole known as Hezbollah's Dungeon. Allah sent me here for a reason. And that reason is to make a Difference, I knew i would live but it took my Mental state to a whole new level. i understnad people now. I have a gift of Knowledge, give me 1 month and the War will be won." These were strong words from the President. But, Where they right?

*shrug*, a few of our main members have been alittle inactive lately. And yes, Ive had my share of war RPing, Domestic seems nice to work on. I actually have an Idea, posting.

[The Imperial Combine]

Following rigorous debates within the Senatum Imperialis, it has been decided that two new Adepts (Divisions) will be added to the Imperium Organization:

Adeptus Medicus (Medical Adept): The Adeptus Medicus is a medical organization of the Adeptus Terra, responsible for the recruitment and training of medical officials in the service of the
Combine. The Medicus is also responsible for assuring that all citizens within the Combine have Medical coverage. (Those who have jobs, of course.) The most powerful individual in the Medicus is the Medical General.

Adeptus Scholastica (Eductational Adept): The Adeptus Scholastica is the educational organization of the Adeptus Terra, responsible for assuring that each member nation maintains an effective education system, as well as private and public universities. The Scholastica is also responsible for assuring that all citizens within the Combine have the oppertunity for public education, and help in pursing college. The most powerful individual in the Scholastica is the Head Scholasticor.

[Magna Omega]

President Andrew Voss stared out at the presidential mannor from a 450 ft view inside his rising helicopter. His term had ended and he was on his way home. Back to the little town of Clabanorus on the southern tip of the Niya Bay area. A light drizzle spattered upon the small foged up window of the chopper. He breathed heavily upon the glass creating a thick circle of condensation of which he wiped away but there was no change in the visibility of the window.

They then flew over the Magnus Quadratus or "Great Square" in the Center of the city. He then passed over the New Square for the monuments (Neo Quadratus). Many people gathered to witness the final farwell salute of the beloved president in his helicopter. Just as he swooped over the rise President Voss spied the near complete Valik War Memorial to the fallen. Magna Omega's first war. All allied nations who participated in the war and members of the combine would be invited to partake in the unvieling of this grand masterpiece and tribute.

He sat their and pondered his roll as president. Over the years he had lead faithfully and with distintion like no other. He had to command 100,000 of his own people to go to war for a small third world country and many died in the process of achieving this victory. Was it my doing? No it was the war mongering state of South Valik! But we were at peace until we decided to intrude upon a foriegn war.If we did nothing Valik would be nothing more than a third world communist state scarred by poverty and famine instead of in the combine! Of course! Not really! Perhaps.

This heated debate continued inside his head for the duration of his four hour flight to Neo Airbase. It made him ill.

After a long meeting with the Keepers of Custom, members of the military, the Inquisition, and his ministers, His Imperial Highness and Most Exalted Sovereign, King Augustavus I, Emperor of Albaron, has officiated the national anthem of the Glorious Empire. It is entitled: "Glory and Faith"

[Magna Omega]

The Federation of Magna Omega has finally completed the official Kray War monument which now resides in New Omega's capital city of Halo. It comemorates the thousands of allied human forces that gave their lives to protect human space.(The Federation's in particular.) The memorial depicts two Omegan ISMC marines trudging up the face of a steep slope alongside a space marine of the Imperial Combine. 83.35ft. tall statue pays great attention to detail with debris and even bodies from both sides litering the 96.2sqft. battlefield floor. Inscribed all along the side of the base is the phrase "Nos sto una ut unus" or "We stand together as one." At night the statue is magnificently lit but every aniversery of the war this monument will be left dark as a solemn sign of respect and admiration for the fallen.(An Omegan tradition). Also on the sides of the base are 5 openly accesable computer terminals wich have the names of every single casualty of the war from every single particapent.

At the dedication cerimony Prime Minister Tersius Aurelius gave the following closing speech:

"Six months ninteen days and nine hours have passed sense the first attack on this colony of New Omega. It quickly fell into the hands of a strange, brutal, and genocidal alien race known as the Kray which came from beyond the fringes of our galaxy to 'purge' us from existance. But this was not to be. We fought long and hard ,along with our allies, for two and a half grueling months to liberate our colony. In the process thousands perished at the hands of these creatures. But we did not give in. We did not let up. We fought ,not as a nation or alliance. We fought as a species. For our survival. For the first time Humanity was facing a common enemy as a union. Hense the phrase 'Nos sto untout unus'. 'We stand together as one'. The Kray were pushed back into their own space and eventually from it. It has been a great but costly victory. After a full six months of bloodshed humanity's death tole numbers well over two million. We cannot forget the sacrifices that all of these men and women have given. We cannot forget the hardships that they have endured. We espesially cannot forget those who perished at the hands of the Kray. In the name of humanity may their soles rest forever in peace."

The president then stood at attention and slowly began to salute as all of the other soldiers did. The solemn music began to play and the attendants rose but all else was silent.

They prepared for the honorary six gun salute. As part of cerimonial honor in Magna Omega the officer's gun salute orders are in latin. The honor guard marines proceeded into position.

"Tendo telum!" The honor guard officer barked. The marines raised their F-2000 assault rifles.
"Intentio!" he yelled as the marines took aim.
"Incendia!" he yelled at last and the marines blew off a 3 round burst into the clear sky. This repeated six times until the officer ordered "Revoco!" and the honor guard slowly marched away. The ceremony had ended. The monument was erected. The war was over.
