My stepson is 16. He posted on his FB that he is now a communist. He is just doing it because he knows it pisses me off. I acted like I didn't care and posted the following. Then I changed his password. He had no idea I knew his password. It is still there for all his friends to see. He is really pissed off. I took the door off his bedroom. I took all his video games and stuff and set them up in the sun room for his 8 year old sister to use. He has no privacy now. Instead of giving him his weekly allowance I split it up between him and his sisters. Then I took him down to Lucky's supermarket and made him apply for a job. They hired him the next day. But told he has to bring home his paycheck every Thursday so I can split it up amongst everybody. He is not very happy. His mother is backing me up 100%. His work loan is almost unbearable for a 16 year old.

So basically an ignorant parent decided to be a jerk to their stepson because he stated he was a communist?

Please tell me this is fake, its just awful parenting and a terrible message to the child. The only message we can take from this if its true is that the parents of this child have the view that they have the right to limit that childs free speech, take money he has earned and make him do all their shares of the house work for the pure reason that he expressed a belief.

Also, communism relies on everyone doing a fair share of the work. In the 'Stepson's' view, all of the wealth in the house should be shared out-so he recieves 1/5 (or whatever else the fraction is) of his father's paycheck. The author also fails to note the distinction from private to personal property-the stepson would keep all of his belongings, but he couldn't keep his money making business (if he possessed one).

The leader used force in the name of communism, to make a weaker member give up his possessions (including personal) and do all of the hard labor while said leader receives the benefits of the worker's labor at virtually no cost, whilst contributing little.
