Postby Carminica » Mon Jun 25, 2012 2:48 pm

OCC: signup the thread start the morning before the coronation. you may start with your arrivals to King Philip International Airport, Royal Air Force Base Adam's, Wellend Train station or Port Devon where you will be greeted.

Room 145, East Wing, Government Palace, Lottingham, Carminica
"So that is finally taken care of. Lastly, I have spoken with the commissioner and he has told me that the additional help have finally received their appointments for tomorrow." an older gentlemen took a deep breath and closed the brown rectangle box on the table to his right.

The two dozen or so men and women, dressd military uniform and lounge suits, gently smiled as everyone knew that today's meeting was their last. After months of meetings, planning and waiting, the day which they had imagined of was finally to come.

"Well, if I may." Lord Paddington, the Chief of Protocol spoke up, as he turned to figure that had just closed the brown box for the last time "Sir Michael.." he addressed the man "on behalf of the coronation committee and all those working towards his majesty's coronation, thank you for leading use as a stellar chairmen. Your professionalism, eye for detail and loyal duty to his majesty's service will not be forgotten. We look forward to see the final results of the your had work and leadership."

Without a moment to spare, the room of military men, old courtiers, clergy, and government official burst in a round of applause as Sir Michael Gellow, a man that never usually settles for compliments, smiled and nodded his head in thanks

"Thank you.." Sir Michael announced "my hard work was only made possible by the healp of everyone one for you." he pushed his choir from out the table with a grin, "Now, let get on to your homes and rest up. We have a big day ahead tomorrow"

Yes, that is true the committee mutter and laughed as they exited the old oak meeting room at the Government Palace.

With only 24 hours before the largest national celebration, most dignified religious eents and most well attend diplomatic event in the history of Carminica the capital city of Lottingham had gained a buzz it has never before. Already a hub of activity, the underlying excitements and anticipation had had taken over the once cynical population. Whisper of coronation lunches, street parties and celebrations soon became the only topic of conversation.

With millions of Carminicans form all over the world ascending on to the city, the city workers gradually began the recreation of the city streets. From streets once gridlocked with cars, crowd barriers now lined the roads, little care to those that have picked their spot to camp-out in order to get a good view of the coronation procession to and from St.Georges Cathedral. Where light poles stood, large Carminican flag hung form the iron loops and ballooned as the gust of wind brushed by.

Beneath the pomp and ceremony that managed to blanket the city, the over to aware and very so conscious presence of the Royal Carminican Armed Forces and Lottingham & Capital Region Police Force keep its presence know yet subdued. With the royal family, and foreign royals, on display nothing was to be left to chance.

Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lottingham, Carminica

'"Oh yes, I have had a list for a while now, saw no need to bin it." The Right Honourable Emily Roots, Minister of Foreign Affairs, looked over her glasses as she spoke to Sir Michael "...my deputy already spoke with the greeting parties.I mean its not that difficult."

"That is true Madame Minister...as along as they're no press"

"That is right sir Michael. no press" she laughed with the chairperson of the coronation committee "But in all seriousness, the royals will greet the royal and the government official will greet the politicians. Keep it simple, no?

"That is the way to do it ma'am" Sir Michael picked on his brief case on his way out

"Michael!" the minister called him "See you tomorrow morning."

"Yes ma'am. See you in the morning " he smiled as he left the minister's office

Daniel's private jet began its descent into King Philip International Airport. It had been a long journey, but the interior of the plane was very easy to keep comfortable in. A lounge couch wrapped around a glass table. On the fuselage was a wide window, through which the landscape of Carminica could be seen as they passed over, gradually lowering altitude.

Agent Lyyna Niama, the ranking Lykiar agent who Daniel had asked to personally accompany him to the coronation, had spent most of the trip going over situations back in Page on her laptop, while Daniel had a few drinks and watched a satellite feed of national news back at home.

"Lyyna, I've made sure you'll have decent accommodations while we're here. I'm sure Carminican security is adequate, but I want you nearby regardless." Daniel said to her, adjusting his coat, the formal dark blue quasi-uniform adorned with patch decorations and Pagian symbols.

The young King remembered it was only a very short time ago when his title was "Prince." But then the war changed everything. His father and brothers were murdered by the fascist National Destiny Party in a bloody coup, and he fled to the sea and commanded the Icewraith, the most feared submarine on Earth that carried with it a nuclear warhead tipped ICBM. When the pro-monarchist counter-revolutionaries won, Daniel ascended to his throne with a right to rule earned by blood and valor. Now, he was a symbol of the resurgence of Pagian wealth and power.

"Thank you, my Lord, it is much appreciated. And the simple fact that you wished me to come along." Lyyna replied to Daniel.
"Who else would I bring?" Daniel asked rhetorically.
"An agent with less to do, sire." Lyyna answered.

Daniel nodded and said "Next week you will deploy to Western Cuba to hunt down Marco Cortez and bring him to justice."
Lyyna had thought about it most of the flight - it was not her first foreign mission, but it was the most significant and the most risky.
"No traitors will escape the gallows." Lyyna said proudly. "Not while I'm an agent of vengeance for our kingdom."
"And the most excellent service you have done is why you deserve a break. This coronation will go smoothly, I am sure. Try to enjoy the scenery, think of it like a holiday." Daniel said to her.

"Is that how you think of this coronation, my Lord?" Lyyna asked.
"Certainly, if there were more to it, you'd be the first to know." Daniel responded.
Lyyna smiled and said "Well, I heard a rumor."
"What kind of rumor?"
"A rumor that Your Highness the Sovereign of Page would seek a foreign suitor to bear you an heir, because you had grown tired of Pagian noble ladies." Lyyna said. Despite her decent relationship with Daniel, even as a servant, she felt awkward speaking to the King in such a way.

Daniel simply laughed and said "At least the second part is true. And yes, though I am in no hurry to marry, I would consider a foreign noble lady if one to my liking crossed my path."
"It is not without precedent, sire."
"Indeed not, six times in history the spirit-son of Aliig took upon him a foreigner to congress with. Thank the Goddess we Pagians were enlightened even one thousand years ago, to not inbreed, knowing one drop of blood of the Primarch was enough to command the throne. Although, one must still deserve it." Daniel said, reciting Pagian history and customs almost involuntarily; from his royal education growing up he knew it all flawlessly.
"You are indeed deserving, my Lord." Lyyna told him.
"Agreed. But about foreign suitors - there are two things I dislike about monarchs outside of Page. One, most of them have been reduced to mere figureheads, rendering the traditional function of a strong national alliance meaningless. Two, they are often pathologically religious even when the common population has shed these ideas." Daniel explained to her.

"Your sister, Lady Ashley, is the religious one, the former High Priestess." Lyyna stated.
"I believe in the Goddess, certainly. But our Goddess protects the innocent, inspires creation, and bestows fortune. She does not judge as the wrathful deities of these foreigners' religions do, with such terribly strict codes of morality that have little to do with honor and much to do with self-deprivation."
"Tranga iim Taayrsk" Lyyna said in ancient Pagian, meaning "drink and sex", parts of life that moralistic people shunned.
Smirking, Daniel said "Yes, Lyyna, exactly. But, if I may be honest, I find plenty of time for both anyway."
"You are twenty-two years old, sire, you deserve the same joys as a commoner."

They looked at each other seductively, but it was too late, the wheels touched the runway which the jet soared down. While they taxied, Daniel walked up to the cabin where the pilot and copilot where.

"Captain Ishair."
Phillip Ishair nearly let go of the controls in surprise.
"My - my King, yes?"
"If First Lieutenant Saarnet can take over for docking in the hangar, I'd like you to walk with Agent Niama and I. You have served dutifully quite awhile, and I reward my loyal people. Attend the coronation as my guest."

"My Lord, such an honor is above me." Phillip said with genuine humility and surprise.
Daniel said "Well then, to keep Lyyna's company at times I may be off talking to other royals."

Saarnet took over the controls after they finished taxiing to the walkway.
King Daniel exited with Agent Lyyna Niama to his left and his pilot, Captain Phillip Ishair, to his right.

OOC: Sorry keep making mistakes! I swear i won't Later!

The Schooner Mary Arron reared into Port Devon. Ban Tray was getting the last perorations ready. "Wheres that little...." He scurried about trying to find the gift. Animals with him always get lost, it just seems that way. He decided it couldn't of got far, this room is locked. He looked at the list.

Suit, Blue, Notlet flags on his shoulder, like a military uniform. Check.
His white hair cut for the occasion. Check.
A Notletian Curof. ..... Check?
Lek Carlon has no weapons. Check.
The Schooner made two pit stops and looks brand new even though its a decade old. Check.
If asked for anything papers are prepared. Check.

Lek banged on the door, not with his fists, Ban ran out to see the small puppy like animal clinging to Leks face.

"Ha.... Thing likes ya...." Bans assured voice came out.

"And it urinated on me.... little.... no good...." Lek was trying his hardest, trying to intimidate it, to no avail. The brown checker animal stayed, It had a small grin. Its enjoying this, Lek thought, But not for long. He remembered how long it took him to be a Flyet. How much training it was. He was important, the military might disappear from Notlet. He was about to tear it off.

"Lek.... that's our gift to them.... These animals can't be found anywhere else and that's one of the presidents pets litter. For all i care keep it on, that's a order." Ban crudely said. Ban either had two ways. A peaceful happy way, or a cruel mad way. His past was filled with poverty, he was accepted for this job because he lived during... the event. He was the man on the field that they had.

"Sir...." Lek sighed as the animal didn't move from his face "The droop of Carminica is here..."

"Really? Ahh i shouldn't say what i think.... This is our first time in the nation and i have more... "Proposals" then complements." He looked out to the crowd. Plenty of people. Notlet is getting their fame in someone else's. Maybe this little nation will be noticed. But all is focused on their king, Surely he is going to do something rather surprising. The rules important. Lek stepped off first making way. Ban, Ban grinned and was back to his peaceful way as he strode off.

The Royal Kingborough, state jet of the Kingboroughian royal family, descended smoothly towards King Phillips International Airport; it had been an enjoyable trip for the Prince of Kingborough and his family, relaxing in the comfort of the jet and happy to get away from the affairs of state for a vacation, or at least the closest thing a ruler got to a vacation.

"Matilda, run me over it once more please? Have I got it right; first we greet the Royal Family of Carminica, then we take place in a royal carriage possession to the place of coronation, followed by us watching the coronation. It sounds simple enough." Prince Iosac said to his secretary.

"Ah, yes. But remember that your here to encourage good relations between our nations, so no mess-ups and no insults! You can't deal with foreign royalty in the same way you deal with the terrorists back home, you know." Lady Matilda Grace chuckled at the elderly Prince, as he jokingly pouted in disappointment.

"My husband giving you trouble, Matilda?" The Princess Consort said laughingly, as she swept in from the cabin next door. She had donned a spectacular dress of crimson for the occasional, and clutched a jeweled purse in her delicate hands. The petite Princess certainly made a pretty picture.

"Not at all Mi'lady." Matilda said, smiling and withdrawing to her quarters, passing an energetic Princess Edana on the way out.
The Crown Princess - a renowned athlete at home - never paused in her pacing as she entered the main 'living' area of the aircraft. Her hair, styled into a bun and secured with a gold circlet, bobbed up and down as she walked. "We going to get off this bird yet? I'm aching for a good walk! Being cooped up for six hours straight is not my idea of fun." Barely pausing in her stream speech, she leaned through the door to the cockpit to speak to the pilot. "Captain Robins, can we go get out yet?"

"Soon Miss, just let the Carminican's put the stairways in place…. "

He had barely finished speaking when she interrupted. "And how long will that take?"

"They'll be finished in about a minute .... there we go."

"Thank whichever God is listening!" The Princess bounded out of the cockpit, and to the door - her parents slowly following, much amused at their daughters excitement, but very understanding; it wasn't every day that someone from the hermit kingdom of Kingborough got to travel to a foreign kingdom.

Small and unassuming in her pink hat and floral blouse, a petite women stood at the bottom of the red carpet with gold trimming that trailed to the doors of the large plane. Flanked by two aide-de-camps, she looked with a gentle sense of joy has hundreds of soldiers stood at attention behind her. Where the hot warm tarmac was home to grease stains and skid makes from aircraft's, today it was a field of full air force honour.

The only thing that rivaled the mass of soldier standing to attention to greet the Roman Emperor was the sea of press that had lined the barrier with their camera and microphone in hand hoping to documents the momentous encounter that would soon take place.

Welcome to Carminica News Network! Live from Adam's air force base just outside Lottingham we are bringing you the arrival of His Imperial Majesty The Emperor of New Roman Empire. Just the start of arrivals for the King's coronation that will take place tomorrow at St. George Cathedral, this is the first time any New Roman official has visited Carminica in official or private capacity.

As you can see behind me, it is a flurry of activity. Greeting The Emperor will be Her Majesty Queen Mary, The Queen Mother. At 93 years of age, even the King's mother has offered to help with the smooth sailing of the countries largest and most well attended coronation in its history.

Oh...it looks like..yes. The Emperor has exited the aircraft and it approaching The Queen Mother, let use watch.

"Your imperial majesty" The Queen mother gentle bent her knee "On behalf of my The King, welcome to the Kingdom of Carminica."
Backed by a sea of soldiers, the elderly women's power and stature became well known to any that questioned it. The wife of the late King Darlington of Carminica, The Queen Mother was also honourary Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Lottingham Guard and today the guard had been called to attention to salute the Emperor of the New Roman Empire. "You imperial majesty, if I may" nodded to the commander of the guard

"THREE CHEERS FOR HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY THE EMPEROR OF THE NEW ROMAN EMPIRE" rang form the commander "HIP-HIP"

"HOORAY" bellowed back

"HIP-HIP"

"HOORAY"

"HIP-HIP"

"HOORAY"

The Queen Mother turned back to the Emperor with warm smile "Welcome to my home."

Being the professional she was, The Queen smiled and waved as the press blanket the former Queen and the Emperor with a bath of flashes as each looked for the perfect photo of their meeting.

A black car, with a New Roman flag on one side and a Carminican on the other, came to a rolling stop at the end of the red carpet where the two stood. "If you will your majesty" The Queen Mother allowed the Emperor to enter the car first.

"Why thank you. Also members of the press. I am willing to answer any questions you might have by phone or make a appointment." Said Maximus as he got in to the car. Then his two guards got in. "Wow, this is amazing. I have never seen a huge press like that. These guards of mine work in groups of 4. So they suround me in a crowd like that." Chuckled Maximus. Then he waited for the queen to get in the car. "So, is there anything you would recommend me seeing while I am in your country?" Asked Maximus. Maximus looked outside the window of the car. Man, this city is in a up roar. There are so many people happy about the corination of the new king. But the decorations are by far the most interresting out of the whole event that I have seen so far. Then one of the guards looked around at the street. No doubt looking for someone who wasnt military or police with a gun.

"Good afternoon your royal highness" Lt. Kevin St.John saluted as Prince Nathan stepped out the back of a silver sedan

"Good afternoon Let. St.John, at ease. What are things looks looking like?" the prince asked as he rubbed his hands together ready to get down to business. Known, as His Royal Highness Prince Nathan of Rudford, the only son of TRH The Duke & Duchess of Rudford and nephew to The King.

"The plane is landing as we speak...have you got the briefing on the guest?" Lt. St. John asked with an air of confusion

"Yes...yes I have" the prince responded knowing very well what Lt.St. John was hinting to. "King Daniel of the United Royal Lands of Page.. pagans Lt. St.John."

"Yes sir, that is correct. I just wanted to make sure..."

"Yes Lieutenant, they are odd and I cant understand them for the life of me..." the Lt. St. John and the small groups of government official smiled as they thought the same things but found little courage to say it in front the prince "...BUT he is a head of state and the guest of The King so they will earn our respect."

"Yes sir!" Lt St.John stood attention

"even if they have a screwy religion" muttered under his breath having the shy intern behind him hear and softly smile back

As the Page plane gradually made its way to the red carpet, the greeting part gather at he opposite end. Accompanied Lt. St.John and half a dozen other officials, Prince Nathan stepped forward to greet the king and put out his and "Your majesty, welcome to the Kingdom of Carminica."

"Your Royal Highness, it is my pleasure." Daniel said, shaking Prince Nathan's hand. Lyyna and Phillip both respectfully bowed. "May I introduce, Captain Phillip Ishair, my faithful pilot, and Agent Lyyna Niama, the most skilled Lykiar operative and fazrandur on our side of the globe."

The word "fazrandur" meant "fascist hunter" and it was an appropriate term, ever since the Civil War and the attempted deposition of the monarchy by the National Destiny Party, all Pagian traitors were mercilessly hunted down and slain, even abroad. Of course, there was no indication Carminica ever harbored Page's enemies, which kept them in King Daniel's high regard.

Two blades were on Daniel. One was his personal dagger which he kept with him since the war. The other was a sword of the finest craftsmanship, bearing Carminica's coat of arms engraved into one side and a warrior's code of honor written in calligraphy in both ancient Pagian and Carminica's native tongue, in very small text, likewise flawlessly engraved. The sword itself was, despite its fineness and extreme worth, quite battle-worthy. Daniel noticed Prince Nathan's eyes on it.

Daniel grinned, and proudly explained "Ah yes, our gift for His Majesty the King. It is a sword from the Polar Star Guild, with an 854 year secret mastery of metalworking and swordcraft. There is one of these, a unique one made for every Pagian King, as well as for foreigners on special occassions. This would be the 94th ever made in world history and the 7th made as a coronation gift for another monarch. We hope he will be pleased."

Lyyna did not want to talk to Prince Nathan out of place, so instead she addressed Daniel in front of him.
"My Lord, would you also inform His Royal Highness Prince Nathan of Rudford that possessing such a sword bestows an invitation onto His Majesty the King to participate in Aliin Vol?"
She smiled with excitement. She could tell the Carminicans saw Pagian ways as strange, but rather than be offended she was mainly amused.
"Do they know what Aliin Vol is?" Phillip whispered to Lyyna nervously.

Daniel was all too happy to explain.
"Aliin Vol is a yearly tradition every April in Page, during the Banquet of the Stars. Pagian noblemen, and sometimes myself, will duel with these swords in an arena in front of the common people. There is armor, of course, injuries are minor. There is no higher mutual respect than among fighters, we never aim to harm one another severely. I broke three ribs and got a nasty slash to my back during the last one, thank the Goddess I found an opponent who didn't hold back just because I am King.

Foreigners are rarely allowed but, my dear Lyyna is right, holding such a sword is an standing invitation." After a long and awkward pause, Daniel added "Of course, no worries, we will not be offended if His Majesty declines to duel."

Lyyna was nearly about to break into laughter seeing the look on Prince Nathan's face once again.

The King is then taken to his waiting bullet proof rolls royce where he and the Queen are wisked away to their hotel suite.

"Yes, it should be a great day. I hope you manage to find yourself at an bbq or two. "You lordship."

"Captain Travis."

The two men firmly shook hands as the Notlet schooner slowly positioned itself.

"Notlet? What do you know about Captain?" Lord Landsdown asked as the schooner came to a full stop at the dock

"Not a thing your lordship.Well...the foriegn advisor to the president is the guest and that's it." Captain Travis responded as he look straight ahead

"Very well then, we shall make the most of it." Lord Landsdown has he nervously rubbed his thumb into his hand

No King, no princess, no president, and no celebrity and the sizable crowed lined along the barriers cheered with glee as Ban Tray and his escort stepped off the Notlet schooner. Bobbing on the water, reporters and cameramen bombarded the foreign adviser from afar with flashes and questions as they waited in their small rented boats.

"Your excellency" Lord Landsdown firmly took Ban Tray's hand as the two met "On behalf of The King, welcome to the Kingdom of Carminica. I trust the sea was cooperative. Did you know you are the first to arrive by sea? " he reminded Ban Tray as he looked to lighten the mood before moving along.

While Notlet and Carminican flags beating in the wind as the two stood and waved to the press gather to their right, a black luxury sedan lead by two police on motorcycles and follow by a police SUV gradually came to a stop at the end of the red carpet the lead to the refurbished Notlet schooner

Lord Landsdown placed his hand on Ban Tray's back and pointed to the car "Your excellency, if you will. We have a long few days ahead, no"

"Ahh yes..." Trays voice was steady and polite. "M'lord. Its a pleasure to be here... after years in that small place in the middle of the ocean Notlet is finally getting out to see the big players." He grinned, relaxing in the chair of the sedan.

"The sea was indeed cooperative, and first by sea? Well that's not alarming considering our nation is more focus on that then air. Lek here is one of the few in the Flyet force. One of the air forces, actually more planes the commercials....." Ban nodded, sharing some of the Notlet ways, the little known nation.

"Well enough about me. This nation... My o my such land! and a proper welcome. Clearly your land is at a utmost high yes? Seems like your all happy, I remember the stories of the past kings we had, but it wasn't like this. Carminica has such a good rhyme too. So, whats first on the agenda? O, Lek? where is that little thing? The Curof?"

Leks face seemed a bit red, it came off by the time he stepped off. A small box he had made growling noises until a piece of cheese made it give a purr.

"aah good. Well as i was saying, whats first to be done?"

Kingborough wrote:The Royal Kingborough, state jet of the Kingboroughian royal family, descended smoothly towards King Phillips International Airport; it had been an enjoyable trip for the Prince of Kingborough and his family, relaxing in the comfort of the jet and happy to get away from the affairs of state for a vacation, or at least the closest thing a ruler got to a vacation.

Where airplanes and luggage trolleys once ruled, the tarmac of the King Phillip International Airport as was a hub of activity of another kind. The coronation of King Louis was only a day away but today was the arrival of the Kingborough princely family as they landed in Carminica to take part in the national celebration.

"your royal highness, we have arrived?" the driver slightly tilted his head over his should as the silver luxury sedan he was driving came to a slow stop at the end of the long red carpet that led up a set of iron stairs that would soon attached to the aircraft carrying the Kingborough guest.

"Thank you Loyd, we will be back shortly" a sweet boy replied

"Yes, soon enough" a rich bass voice murmured

As the two figured stepped out the car a faint cheered rang from the security fences a few yards away. Lined with young and old raising their Carminican flags, the couple waves to the small group pressed against the iron fence as their aide-de-camp announced their arrival

"HER ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCESS DAPHNE, THE DUCHESS OF CHRISTCHURCH AND HER GRACE THE DUKE OF CHRISTCHURCH" rang as the dozen or so government official stopped dead in their tracks and bowed or curtsied before hurrying along to finished their task before the guest arriveed

"Your royal highness, happy to see you had made it well" Lt. Col. Jones welcomed the royal couple as they awaited the Kingborough plane to finish its taxi and come to a final stop

"Yes, Lt. Con. Jones. So am I" she laughed as she looked to the Duke of Christchurch

"Wouldn't that be an example of good timing" the Duke responded with a chuckle. The King's coronation was to be the largest national celebration hosted in Carminca's history and an ill time incident would not help at all. "Lt. Col. Jones, I hear you will be leading the fly past tomorrow as well."

"Yes, your grace. After the arrival I will be meeting with the pilots for one last debrief before the big day. They look forward to the day...as with most everyone...excuse me."

"Your royal highness, your grace...Lt Col Jones" the young interned interrupted "...the plane has aligned with the stairs, the princely family has arrived."

Keeping to royal protocol, the Duke of Christchurch stood one pace behind his wife greeted the princely family " Your most serene highness.." she curtsied to Prince Iosac II of Kingborough "On behalf of The King, I wish to extend a warm welcome to Carminica to you and your family."

While the royal family greeted the great and good that had descended upon Carminica for the coronation of King Louis, the Church of Carminica too had began to see coronation's horizon loom closer. Seated in the special district known as the Grand Duchy of St.George, the once somber and holy St.George's Cathedral became a bee hive of activity as worker completed the finishing touches, security ran last minute run throughs, and the clergy quickly reviewed task for the morning to come.

"Eh! How you want these here Rev'?" the lumbering facilities staff contracted to help with the manual barked as he struggled the push the tall oak tree on the rough cobble floor

"Umm yes, the tree will be aligned aisle..." The Very Reverend John Holder, Dean of St.George's Cathedral, pointed as he tried to keep a dozen other task on his mind "...just start from the entrance and end at the crossing. The tree line will end before the choir stalls.

"Alight, Rev'" the bloke barked back in his rough tone

Image

"...Yes, the faith leaders will be to the right of the non-royal foreign heads of state..." Rev. Holder returned to his conversation with the The Right Reverend Alexander Moody, Bishop of Lottingham "...I mean, I have spoken with the Chief Rabbi and just yesterday and said that he was fine with in."

The bishop rolled his eye "I thought the same, the President of the Baptiste Churches Council said something very different. Gosh Holder, even in religion politics finds its fingers."

"That is the life we have chosen Moody" the dean laughed as more trees began to line the initial aisle leading too crossing

Outside, the mood changed very little as the Royal Carminican Armed Forces and the Lottignham & Capital Region Police Force but their security monitoring into full gear. As the Lottingham's population of 4 million ballooned to an astonishing 7 million as Carminica from all over the country so the security presence, with thousands of police officers arriving from surrounding the jurisdiction and the military adding an extra screen of expertise the police presence was strong.

"No ma'am. This street will be closed beginning with the royal procession to the cathedral and will reopen after the full sovereigns procession to the Carvict palace...yes ma'am you may take photos. Yes, enjoy your stay" a mounted policewomen explained to an eager tourist in the city. Somethign she would likely be repeating for the day

The constant buzz from the sky patrol also became a fixture of the city soundscape "Roger that EYE 12. EYE 15 is on route 23. All is clear. EYE 12 out." Newly bought for the coronation, and events to come, dozens of helicopters scattered the skies reporting the finest of details"

"Yes, I met with the King this morning. He fully understands the process..." the figure discussed as he climbed the stairs to St. George's Cathedral "...The Queen and family are the same."

"dean of cathedral!" the figure called out with a hint of joy as it reached the entrance of the cathedral. With that, movement stopped. The clergy bowed their heads as the labours froze in their tracks. The figure was not the King but The Most Christian & Exalted Highness Micheal Rowen, The Prince-Archbishop of St.George, and the one and only man that may crown the King.

"your highness.." Rev. Holder bowed "We didn't expect you. you have come to review the final touches I assume?"

"Yes reverend. I was on my way home from the Carvict Palace and decided to take a fast peak before the morning. You know, get a feel for thing before I'm right in the middle of it all."

"That's right your highness" Rev. Holder nodded "if you may fallow me"

Much like the king or any politicians touring the cathedral,a swarm of clergy soon gathered as Rev. Holder pointed out various elements that will be highlighted during the coronation ceremony. "So, just past the cross, the tree line will end and we will enter the choir stands. The trumpets and orchestra will be right above" Rev. Holder pointed ".. a platform has been constructed to hold char for the strings and what not."

"Mix of the cathedrals boys choir and St.Mary's boys school right" the Prince-Archbishop asked

"yes, sir."

"Finally sir, the majority of the ceremony will take place in the apse"' Rev. Holder directed "As you can see, the staff have recently cleaned it."

"Beautiful, Rev. Absolutely sunning" Prince-Archbishop with a sense of accomplishment on his face "the service will be stunning. well don rev, well done"

"Thank you your highness. And yes it shall, yes it shall"

"Thank you, Your Highness. It is my pleasure to meet you." Prince Iosac responded, smiling graciously. "We are all honoured to be attending your future king’s coronation. Let me introduce my lovely wife, Princess Consort Abaigeal and my beautiful daughter, Crown Princess Edana." The Prince gestured to each in turn, as they both stepped forward to greet the Duchess and Duke.

"It is a rare opportunity to visit a foreign land and attend such a prestigious event as this. We are thankful to your country for hosting us." Princess Abaigeal said in greeting, curtsying to the Duchess. The Princess Edana also curtsied and smiled in greeting, at her mother’s at her side.

"Please, accept this gift from our people to your King." The Prince took an oblong carved wooden box that his wife was carrying, and popped its lid to the reveal the contents to the Duchess. Lying within was a carved Saber Tooth Cat tooth, inlaid with the coat of arms of Kingborough in gold on one side, and the coat of arms of Carminica on the opposite side. “To represent, what I hope will be good relations between our people for as long as our nations exist.” The Prince said in explanation.

Bowing, he handed the box to the Duchess.

New Roman Empire wrote:"Why thank you.

Always speaking with her hands The Queen mother explained to the Emperor, "I must say your imperial majesty, it has been a long time since the people of Carminica have had a chance for national celebration. I mean, we are much better then most countries but the fact remains that the global economic climate is not too well...the bleak news gets to people you know? It times like this that people can take a chance to remember how blessed they are to live in a country such as Carminica. " She looked as she remembered the letter her office would often receive from desperate grandparents and families looks to provide for their young ones. "What s there to see, well...how about this. The day after the coronation, would you like to come for see at my residence?" Given to her by The King after the death of her husband, her residence, Hanover House, was only blocks away form Carvict Palace. "I will be hosting a coronation lunch for my charities, I am sure your presence will be greatly admired."

The the tree lined blur slowly turned into the sights and sounds of Lottingham City as the motorcade made its well to the Folring Hotel, rented out by the Royal Household, it would play host to a number of dignitaries while in Carminica.

Like a swan, the president yacht slowly and gracefully pulled into the Port Devon harbour. surrounded by two small boats on each side of the bow, the Halgard flag beat in the wind as the yacht sailed in all of its glory. Departing from Camp Davis, he president yacht had only travelled a few hundred miles to Carminica. Just north of Carminica, this was the firs time a seating Halgard president had visited Carminica and the only the second time the yacht had been in Carminican waters.

"What a greeting!" First Lady Anita remarkeed as she and her husband smiled and wave to the fishermen and crowds lined on the docks

"Yes, rather exiting!" President Thorden replied as he showered the masses with his signature pearly white teeth. President Thorden had only recently won the presidential election in Halgard and this was only his second international trip as president and first visit to Carminica. "The crowds are rather healthy. Apprently, this is only the second time the yacht has docked in Carminica. The first was during the Kregstien War...President Hilton docked here on his way to the peace talks...the Queen refused to meet with him...afraid it would pull Carminica into the war. "

"Wow!" First Lady Anita exclaimed as the yacht gradually made it away around the bend to its finally port of all. Filled from the rivers edge to across the street an on the walkways on the opposite side of the road thousands of people came to greet the Halgard president. Halgard and Carminican flag waving together even the president was taken aback by the amount of people that had showed to get a glimpse

"Just keep smiling dear..." the president whisper to his wife as the yacht finally made contact with the dock.

A young naval officer met the president and his wife on the lower deck "Mr President...Madame First Lady. He have officially dock in the Kingdom of Carminica, your greeting party awaits" he gestured to the plank leading off the yacht to the figures gathered as the end of the ready carpet.

Flanked by press on one side and crowds of well wishers on the others, the president and first lady made their way down the red carpet to the Carminica greeting part "Good afternoon.." the president put out this hand

Office of the Private Secretary to The Sovereign, Carvict Palace, Lottingham, Carminica

"Well Mr Carson..." Sir Martin Oakley scratched his head "...the foreign dignitaries have already begun to arrive. The minister of foreign has sent out the according dispatches. I believe Princes Keisha is currently meeting with The King & Queen of HRH...if im not mistaken, The Queen Mother has just entered the city with the Emperor of the New Roman Empire."

The Private Secretary to The Sovereign, The Right Honourable Sir Martin Oakley's day had been a blur as he carefully review the details of the day to come. While outside the palace gates the labour crew had finished the erection of the media boxes and inside the palace gate maids and footmen put their final touches of the palace before the arrival of the royal family and guest, deep into the belly of Carvcit Palace Sir Martin and Mr Sean Carson reviewed the final details on the guest list and setting arrangements.

"Yes, yes.." Mr Carson agreed "...concerning the list of guest, the Sir Harold Winters, a guest of the Queen, will not be attending. Lady Winters brother passed away while boating on the east coast. Also, the Prime Minister has expressed reservations to attendance of the General Alexander from the Dictatorship of Supreme Ruler of Earth...some human rights groups are concerned with the presence of the general will look like The King and his government are supportive of the dictators oppressive policy...an image that The King cannot afford to have so earl in his reign."

"That is true Carson...if anything, we can play it as a sign of diplomatic respect. I will have the press office release prepare a state if the issue becomes more a story. Plus, a new of the guys in at World Report owe the palace a few favours if we need the story taken care of..."

Carson leaned in as her further explained to Sir Martin "What we can do is place the general in the military leaders section. He will be removed from the foreign heads of state, royalty, and government officials...that way he will be out of sight, and hopefully out of mind."

"Ah !" Sir Martin clapped his hands "that is why he have you Mr Carson! I will inform the Lord Chamberlain of the change in the seating plan.Lastly, the guest list. What is that looking like at the moment?"

Diving into his the famous brown rectangle boxes carried by all the senior staff of the royal household, Carson pulled out a file folder. Labeled with a red sticking with black letters selling "Guest List", he dropped the folder on the desk causing a thump. "Here is the list, organized by category, all those that should be at the coronation will found on this list. The second half is the lest of names of those that will be at the coronation ball" He slid the list Sir Martin who when from peering over his glasses to inspecting the names on the most exclusive list in the country.
