This is the follow-up to a previous thread, but everything you need to know should be covered by the introduction.
Old OOC thread.
The year is 2013, and humanity is recovering from a devastating war against vampires from another dimension who invaded in force less than a year ago. It was only thanks to the combined efforts of a small group of superhumans and a coalition of the last standing armed forces on Earth that the vampires were driven back.
On the surface of the planet humanity is doing its best to recover from the brink of destruction, rebuilding their homes and mourning their fallen. Since the end of the war an unprecedented peace has settled on the planet as people struggle to rebuild. For some people that notion of peace is nothing but an illusion, as anyone deemed 'deviant' is liable to be attacked by one of the many armed militias that have sprung up across the globe in the aftermath of the invasion. Even as they had fought to save the world the contributions of superhumans were mostly forgotten in the rising storm of xenophobia that followed the war, and many of them have been forced to band together in ghettos to avoid the worst of the persecution.
But in space hangs a shining beacon of hope for all superhumans; the Academy for the Empowered, also known as Super Hero High. A vast space station constructed years ago for the sole purpose of giving training to young gifted individuals, a place where they can reach their full potential safe from the outside world. Operating under the protection of the UN and enjoying funding from hundreds of generous donors the school is well-equipped to handle any situation.

Staff can go anywhere.
Right, if you want to apply simply copy the form you want and fill it out. Up to two characters per player allowed.
The students are placed into dorms based on their alignment. The three dorms are Hero, Vigilante and Villain.
All player student characters are in the same class. Lessons are held by player teacher characters, and planned with the OP ahead of time.
For teachers you may choose almost any subject to teach that would be taught at a normal high school. There are also classes in other subjects that are useful to superhumans, feel free to be creative.

Brief Bio: Tyler was born in the city of Boston to a working-class couple, growing up as a single child. Despite his rather impoverished childhood he was happy, finding joy in the simple things in life. His mother worked part-time as a music teacher and she taught him how to play the violin, even though such a skill caused some amount of mockery from his friends. However his carefree life ended the night his powers awakened, at a school dance. The authorities found out and took him away, eventually sending him to the Academy for the Empowered so he could learn to control his powers.
He participated in the battle to defeat the vampires, the memories of which still haunts him.
Costume (if any): British army uniform
Abilities: No superhuman abilities. Is a decorated veteran of several wars and a skilled marksman.
Brief Bio: Born in London, Fredric joined the army when he failed to get into any universities. He took well to the military life, and when the invasion happened he had taken part in fighting in both Iraq and Afghanistan. During the last battle against the vampires he led his men against overwhelming odds and took down an AA emplacement so the rest of the forces could successfully land. After the war he became somewhat famous for his part in the battle, and when the UN looked for a replacement for the previous headmaster, who had stepped down of his own accord, Anderson was offered the position. He accepted without hesitation, recalling the vital role superhumans had played in the defeat of the invading forces.

Brief Bio: Dominic grew up in the slums of Mexico city, always doing his best to help his community. When his powers manifested he created a superhero persona and fought the crime and corruption that had infested his home. Before the war he was one of the most famous superhumans to ever have operated in Mexico, and had become something of a national symbol. During the war he fought bravely to save as many as he could, leading small squads of resistance fighters in guerrilla attacks against the invaders. He was offered a position as a teacher at the school in the hopes that he would serve as a positive role-model for the young superhumans. Though at first hesitant he soon decided to take the chance to inspire gifted young people to help their fellow man.
Height: 198 cm (6'4")
Weight: 90 kg (198 lbs)
Costume (if any): during his superhero days he wore the uniform of a carolean soldier. Nowadays he usually wears a suit.
Abilities: Superhuman strength and durability, superior reflexes.

Brief Bio: Michael grew up in Stockholm, and discovered his superhuman powers during puberty. He decided to use them to fight crime, like he'd seen on TV, and so bought himself a costume and set out to right wrongs in his neighborhood. At first he mostly limited himself to taking down vandals and other petty criminals, but as he grew older his ambitions grew bolder. Even though his powers were relatively weak he began taking on armed robbers in his late teens, and only moved up from there. After going through the usual year of mandatory military service he enrolled in a psychology course at the university, managing to pull through with decent grades despite his second career. As he grew older he put on the costume less and less, knowing fully that it was just a matter of time before he either died or was permanently crippled and that he could help people better in a different way.
During the war Sweden was mostly ignored, the small size of their armed forces and reputation as a neutral nation leading to few vampires being dispatched to attack them, but Michael put himself in harm's way and nearly died during the fighting. For a time he was unable to walk, his spine shattered from a stray bullet, but his reputation helped him. He came into contact with a group who offered to help him if he put his skills to work on helping them in turn, and soon he was fully recovered and headed for a new job at the Academy for the Empowered.

After an injury during combat three years later he was awarded the Purple Heart and given an honorable discharge. No official records exist about him after this point.
