How European are you?

Postby Call to power » Fri Jan 27, 2012 11:57 am

The Guardian is running a neat little quiz to find out just how EU-friendly you are, lets all take the quiz and compare answers because that seems like a good idea.

So yeah there is 4 different viewpoints you can take depending on your language skill (naturally America and damp rag countries don't have a quiz)
-British
-Italian
-Polish
-Spanish

Like 36% I am a Euro-paean

For you, Europe is an ode to joy, but not necessarily with a happy ending

This means I am cultured and generally better than you.

I'm annoyed there's no option for 'unite with the Commonwealth' on the first question, and I was rated in the 1% 'Euro-trash' for some reason, surely I'd have to be European to be 'Euro-trash'?

As an American, it is my right to be able to take all internet quizzes. This is horribly unfair.

Pretending to be British:
Like 24% of respondents, you've been rated:
Eurostar!
You are blazing a trail for a European integration a trois cents kilometres a l'heure!

I'm Euro-trash, apparently. But come on, how could I resist clicking the "Agincourt. Trafalgar. Waterloo" option when it asked me about France? :p

I agree. I was disappointed there was an option for greater co-operation with the United Tax Evaders of America but none for greater Commonwealth co-operation.

Apparently the Guardian believes I fall in with the Evil 1% and that Europe should burn.

I have this skeptical feeling however, that it is in part based on my background study in History, and that thinking of Europe inspires me to remember famous Europe historical things, (Like world war 2) and not how pretty Germany might be now.

Yeah I took this earlier on today. I got 27% - 'euro-logical' (British).

In principle I agree with the notion of European unity/closer economic and political integration; I just don't like the current incarnation of it - the EU.

13%, taken from the British perspective, though I am an American. It would be useful if it compared you with the majority of people in the country tested as.

Hmmm. To Google!
I used NS a couple of years back, was involved in 6 or so fruitless RPs that died within days of conception. I never did anything memorable to anyone, including myself, to the extent of not being able to remember what my nation's name was.

Why am I back? I was searching the webernetz for pictures of xenotech power armor for a custom 40K Chaos Space Marine codex after /tg/ failed to produce any, and one of the results was here. "Oh, hey, I remember those guys. Heh. Let's see what they've got." You guys didn't actually have anything, but I had a look around and decided to make a new account because why not?

100%. Seriously though, this doesn't tell you how European you are its how in favor of the EU you are. I got 26%. None of those quizzes really applied to me though so I can't say accurately. I don't really like the EU in general, but I don't hate it.
