Lets put this out there, i am one of the most advanced civilizations out there. I can easily detect you. Hell i could moniter the galaxy if i really wanted too. I am severly small but extremly advanced.

Just saying, you'd need some really good justification for the stealth working in my systems, as passive infarred sensors tend to detect everything, and that's based off RL, before adding in all of the fun computer things.

However, a FTL drive that takes you out of normal space, say wormholes or hyperdrives, can land you undetected until you exist in the real world again...
