The Civil Rights Act robbed liberty. IT didn't give any. So you sir, are wrong.

Proof for the criminalization of sodomy?

Ron Paul wrote:Consider the Lawrence case decided by the Supreme Court in June. The Court determined that Texas had no right to establish its own standards for private sexual conduct, because gay sodomy is somehow protected under the 14th amendment “right to privacy.” Ridiculous as sodomy laws may be, there clearly is no right to privacy nor sodomy found anywhere in the Constitution. There are, however, states' rights — rights plainly affirmed in the Ninth and Tenth amendments. Under those amendments, the State of Texas has the right to decide for itself how to regulate social matters like sex, using its own local standards. But rather than applying the real Constitution and declining jurisdiction over a properly state matter, the Court decided to apply the imaginary Constitution and impose its vision on the people of Texas.

And even if he is against abortion, he STILL supports allowing the states to decide it.

Any social liberal who would vote for Obama over Ron Paul is a foolish person.

Ron Paul ain't even a genuine right libertarian. He's an anti-federalist. Instead of having a federal government suppressing rights, he wants the state government to do it.-snip-

Except when it looks like not enough States are going to step up to the plate and pass bigoted laws. Then it's time for the Feds to step in and ban liberty. E.g., gay marriage, abortion.

It's hilarious that 22% of the polled people think that Ron Paul will beat Romney. Even Ron Paul has said that he won't be elected. What makes his supporters so goddamned optimistic?

Anyone, liberal, conservative or libertarian, would be utterly stupid to put their trust in a man who's ideals, teachings and policies oppose equality, civil rights and the pursuit of happiness.

Paul is a noted and confirmed liar who for years wrote, published and made money off of racist, homophobic and sexist newsletters that he would defend, then deny he had anything to do with, as and when it suited him best. His policies are anti-people, and his ideology dangerous to America.

I would rather put my trust in Ron Paul, knowing he won't set the military on me for dissent, than for Obama, who is just another stepping stone on the path to a militarized police state.

Funny, this is talking about how Obama got delegates by targeted campaigning to get wins in disregarded races. Not about how he had his supporters pledged to Hillary then double cross her.
