Homosexuality

Postby Carneval » Sat Apr 14, 2012 9:19 pm

Alright, i mentioned it a couple times in a previous thread and so I wanted know people's opinions on the national legalization of gay marriage. Please state your reasoning behind your vote in the comments.

Also, please regard any arguments you find well stated and don't just shout random crap until you feel content.

Advice. Don't tell people what to not do as they have a habit of doing it since you posted it.

My comment.

They are people. If they aren't hurting you, leave them alone.

First you need to give your opinion, and preferably something more than just "Gay: good or bad" to talk about. That's how it works here.

Alright. Strongly for as I have yet to see rational argument as to why not. If you do have a rational one, please tell me.

"For it" makes it sound like I actively support people being homosexual.

I'm neutral on the whole homosexuality/heterosexuality thing. I think everyone deserves equal rights and that the government shouldn't favour one side over another.

Well seeing as this is meant to survey heterosexuals; I have to admit bias as I am gay. Thus, I voted neutral.

Its 12 midnight EST. Cut me some slack. I have a much more detailed argument but I'm saving it for someone actively debating the opposite of opinion of mine.

I agree, the Soviet Union epitomized capitalism.

I mean, USSR? What's more capitalist than that? Four capitals, all in a row!

Is this about gay rights or about homosexuality? I am for gay rights, but really don't have much of an opinion on homosexuality. It's harmless, but not any better than any other sexual orientation.

And pay taxes, and are generally FABULOUS.

Now, what exactly is this thread trying to discuss about homosexuals? Their right to marry? Their right to exist? Whether they're evil or good? What?

I'm for anything that has to do with homosexuality. Why? I'm gay, 'nuff said. But seriously, what are we discussing here? Gay marriage, rights? Seems like this is just déjà vu....not to mention that it'll probably end up getting locked, like the last thread lol.

Not sure how someone can be against something that has again and again been proven to be either genetic, a change that occurs whilst still in the womb, or an irreversible psychological occurrence, just because of their fairy tale religion.

Also, I find this poll difficult to answer.

I'm a bisexual woman, and I am for homosexuality when it's to do with women I find attractive, but against homosexuality when it's to do with men I find attractive.

In seriousness, the whole concept of being "for" or "against" a sexuality that we know to exist is baffling.
