It is a pleasure to announce that YellowApple, Inc., the world's leader in equine-optimized civilian and military products, has raised enough capital to successfully corner the world economy. Consequently, the entirety of the Coalition of Ponyist States has been purchased by - and is now a subsidiary of - YellowApple, Inc.

Some important modifications to the Coalition of Ponyist States - and Ponyism as a whole - will be effective upon transmission of this message:

• Princesses Luna and Celestia will be appointed as dual Vice-Administrators of YellowApple, Inc., and will be responsible for offering sunlight and moonlight services on monthly subscriptions to interested nations.
• Hippostania in its entirety will be donated to the neighboring nation of Marxist Equines, the leader of which will break the fourth wall and - according to Chairmare Pie - "change Hippostania's pretitle to 'The Marxist Equines of' and upload a new flag depicting Lyra and [Pinkie Pie] hugging with a backdrop of a hammer and sickle via the NationStates settings page". Whatever that means.
• Every city with a population greater than 1,000,000 sapient beings of every member nation of the CoPS will now host at least one YellowApple, Inc. Regional Corporate Office.
• Seaponies will get tax breaks and subsidized living for being persecuted. Those tax breaks will be paid for by tax increases on the Greater Pony Herd. Except for Twilight Sparkle. She's cool.
• No pony will be unemployed. Whether this provision extends to other sapient species remains ambiguous.
• All households and businesses of all member nations will have IPv6 connectivity on fiber optic data networks.
• A tithe of 10% will be implemented in all Ponyist religious institutions.
• There will be no more distinction between Secular and Spiritual Ponyism.
• Applejack will be solidified as Second Best Pony, with Chief Secretary Derpy Hooves being Best Pony. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie will be tied for the Third Best Pony title. Fluttershy gets nothing because she's a Mary Sue.
• Maven Auryn will be hired for his talents in the context of mariachi music.
• Discord will be mailed to Mars, where the plotline of the video game Doom will provide enough chaos to release him and give him a domain that doesn't involve destruction of the known universe should three fillies on a school field trip decide to get in some silly argument. Then again, he might just conquer Hell itself. We're fine with this.
• Pip will be banished to Mars. Life support is up to him or Discord to provide.
• 1 April will be referred to as "YellowApple Saves the World Day".
• The Coalition of Ponyist States will automatically nuke every single n00b expy of the USSR that hates ponies for little reason beyond their beyond-the-fourth-wall masters thinking them to be girly.

We hope these new provisions can be incorporated with minimal complication. We look forward to lasting peace and prosperity among all our nations.

"To the people of the Lubyak,

I write this open later in response to the recent founding of Octavia's Celestial Elfie Cult, and the downfall of the meritocratic dominion that preceded it.

I have long told you that the peninsula that the Dominion occupied has always needed democracy.

I have long told you that having your country ruled by unelected bureaucrats is greatly harmful. For too long, the unelected political elites have controlled the country with varying degrees up competence, but with unlimited degrees of power.

I have long told you that this situation is a recipe for disaster. And now we see the final proof - Octavia has seized power and turned a dominion into an empire. The civil liberties that the bureaucratic clique were willing to respect have now gone down the toilet. And no-one was able to stop them, or stop Octavia from arriving in a position to seize power in the first place.

Democracy is not perfect for sure. Let us not forget that it was democracy that allowed Adolf Hitler, the most destructive man in history, to come to power, though it was not his preferred way of seizing power. Winston Churchill once said that "democracy is the worst form of government, except for everything else that has been tried". Democracy can result in dim populists ending up in positions of great power, but it has its saving grace. Only in a democracy does the political leadership have a genuine incentive to govern well.

Even in your own nation's history, perhaps, you have experienced the downsides of democracy and parliamentary government. The historical republican government in the Lubyak collapsed due to tensions and deadlock in the democratic government and a rout in the Tovakyan War. ArghNeedAName itself has experienced problems like this, from the collapse of the first Kixan Republic in 1812 to the 2001 Malvornian budget crisis.

Why did we choose democracy? Because we knew that ultimately we had no choice. If we opted for benevolent dictatorship, how was their any way we could guarentee it could remain benevolent? Representative democracy was not our choice, not our dream, but a pragmatic necessity.

I have recently told you something else.

I have told you that ponyism is a danger - a threat. My country contains as many people as you who say that ponyism is but a peaceful religion, that ponies are our equals and maybe even beneficial. Let me tell you something; ponyism is a fascist idealogy which is plotting to take over the world - today, it has made its greatest step ever. Even greater than the invasion of Hippostania almost exactly a year ago.

Ponies are working together in a crusade against freedom. A crusade that will ultimately culminate in the subjugation of the eternal dominance of Luna and Celestia. That's what they want. It is no surprise that no pony-majority country has democracy. From theocrats like Twilight Sparkle to demagogues like Lyra, ponyism has sprung up tyrants wherever it has taken hold. Ponies have invaded many nations - sometimes dramatically through portals and coups - sometimes subtlely, through mass immigration. Once established, they put native humans out of work and have large families. You will have noticed this in the Lubyak.

My mission as leader of ArghNeedAName's newest political party is to defend ArghNeedAName from the twin threats of Islam and Ponyism. I believe I can save ArghNeedAName from theocratic tyranny and repression. But only you can save yourselves.

Also, I've completed the NSWiki pages for a new star system which will gradually become the central point of a number of YellowApplan FT scenarios. Called the Concordia System (Latin for "Harmony"), it contains six planets: Honestatis, Fidelitas, Benignitas, Generositas, Risas, and Veneficium. You can guess what those names mean in English. They're basically going to be the locations of several of my puppet nations, including Scat-Land, Spoonia, and The Smooze.

A most formal overdue office appology

To: The Entirety of the CoPS Delegation,

It has been long over due, an official government apology to what happened and what horrific events took place that shall for ever be embedded in the minds of every sapient being that lives today. Officially Fantoa admits what the previous government did what unforgettable and in-humane in every way imaginable. What can be said now so long afterwards is still tough in many minds, what Fantoa started. What the previous government helped ignite millions if not tens of millions of deaths, those who should not have died because they were not human or didn't look human.

However though you shouldn't blame the people of the nation for they didn't fully know what they did was very wrong. Being brainwashed into thinking that if they don't look like us, they're to die. No matter how I try I will never be-able to hide the past and what Fantoa did, all I can do is try to mend the wounds that we have caused. Thus on the behalf of Fantoa and her people I King Iris II appologise for the genocide that the previous government caused. I know that it doesn't mean much now, but I feel compelled that something is better than nothing.

Since the new government headed by me has taken power two months ago much in Fantoa has changed temporarly most laws put in place by the past government have been repealed until they can officially be repealed by the Fantoa United Congress of the People which wont be in session till tomorrow. Every law is on the docket to be repealed or re instated. I have decreed a few things myself: Royal Decree 011. Two weeks ago we held our first free and fair elections, in which the Freedom Party won 61% of the seats: First Free and Fair Elections. In order to show that we are reformed from our former self Congressional Docket.

Why do you want to RP with CoPS?: Unintentionally, CoPs became an extremely integral part of my nations history and the reason why it is what it is today. The Coalition invasion changed Vorradia from a theocratic tyranny into a democratic nation. I want to RP with CoPs because of this heavy involvement in my nations past, and it's liberation from the church.

Vorradia was first colonised by a few hundred war criminals exiled from Vahria, a pacifist paradise that was wiped out utterly when CoPs invaded.

Vorradia was a harsh inhospitable freezing wasteland inhabited by vicious warrior nomads, and the first Vorradians suffered terribly when they first arrived.

Alright, to save time I'll just paste a short history recounted by a character in the current Vorradian RP:

When they first came to Vorradia centuries ago, they were battered, beaten, bloodied weak and bewildered, after their exile from their ancestral homeland in Varhria for the atrocities their sect had committed in the Vahrian civil war.

They were banished to die in this terrible, lifeless, freezing inhospitable wasteland,
of the cold, hunger and disease.

But they had prevailed, struggling bravely on through years of hardship, misery and death.

They built a city from the ground up. They built it all, from nothing, a huge city that was the envy of the world.

They toiled and laboured through the freezing bitter winters and the burning, scorching summers that bought no more respite.

They fought off the constant predations of the savage natives, who sought to drive them out of Vorradia.

But they were determined. They would not just lay down to die, as the Vahrians had banished them to do.

They were determined to defy those who had sent them to die. By the heavens, they declared, they would not just survive in Vorradia! They would prosper! And grow mighty and strong.

Make a heaven out of hell.

And they did.

They abandoned their former name, they no longer called themselves Vahrians, No!

They were people of Vorradia now!

They pushed on through decades of unbearable hardship and suffering, and built themselves up into a nation to be proud of. They were proud, to call themselves Vorradians. They were no longer just exiles, disgraced for eternity.

They soon found vast quantities of gold, diamonds and other vital metals. Vorradia's frozen, lifeless soil hid untold mineral wealth. They laughed at the Vahrians, who had sought to kill them. Now they had become a far greater power.

Varhria with its pathetic, peaceful, pacifist beliefs was soon vastly militarily outmatched by Vorradia, a proud and vengeful people who sought to build up a massive army that would be feared across the globe.

The Holy Church of Vorradia, was formed, purely in defiance of Vahria, rejecting its traditional peaceful beliefs of tolerance, love and kindness and replacing it with a new ideology, and a view of the world in which the Vorradians were a superior people and the rest of the world was destined to be conquered and ruled, by them.

Determined to have their revenge, the Vorradians accepted this new church, and they led Vorradia into greatness.

For two hundred years, led by the church, the Vorradians built an empire that stretched as far West as the fertile lands of Kolvalia.

Lord Arbus dipped his head in silent remembrance of the hardships his people had endured to make Vorradia a mighty empire. It filled him with awe, and reverence.

But roughly one hundred years ago, Vorradia had under great international pressure been forced to leave much of its empire, and let those states gain independence. Though it still retained its name, The Holy Imperial Territories of Vorradia, only Vorradia itself was still under its rule.

As its power had waned, the people began to realise the mistake they made in trusting the Clergy of the Holy Church with absolute power. Embittered by the loss of their empire, the Church grew more and more tyrannical, oppressive and paranoid. The Ordos of the Church were formed, most notably the dread Ordo of the Ordos Anima. The clergy became obsessed with moral cleanliness, and keeping man from sin. Their hatred of the rest of the world following the loss of the empire made the clergy incredibly totalitarian and oppressive, desperate to retain a sense of superiority through moral purity and dedication to god.

That was when the Vorradia Arbus had known for most of his life, the Vorradia before COPS had invaded, first came to be. Though they had lost their empire, Vorradia still grew strong. Its vast mineral wealth allowed it to build its city downwards into vast subterranean caverns and tunnels, and build the system of shifting metal plates that was the surface of the city, built to control the release of heat from the underground manufactorums to warm the city.

Vorradia had still been great, though it had lost its empire. Imperial City was an unrivalled marvel of modern engineering and construction. The Ordos Militant led huge crusades to purge whole nations of infidels and heretics.

Vorradia had even set its eyes on hated Vahria, and occupied it easily, though guerilla warfare with rebels persisted for seven years.

The Imperial palace was built, a monolithic masterpiece of swooping majestic gothic arches and towering walls, lined with thousands of colossal ornate statues and icons, gilded with gold and embossed with countless diamonds and jewels.Tattered old banners had still clung proudly onto the walls, a reminder that the glory and absolute power of the clergy was still absolute.

It was a glorious age of power and dominion, holiness and purity, where sinners and evil were crushed and the Holy Church of Vorradia reigned supreme.

That was sort of Vorradias golden age, though it had lost its Imperial Territories, Vorradia was still massively wealthy and strong.The people were oppressed through cruel and degrading psychological engineering, and when that failed through sheer brute force.

Then CoPs invaded with its many allies, such as Imeriata and Allanea.

The war developed into a grinding stalemate. The thread died out a little later, leaving the conflict unresolved.

So, this year I continued the narrative, saying that Vorradia fell into anarchy after its military was crushed. Thinking the Vorradian threat defeated, the Coalition pulled out.

But after twenty years of anarchy, the clergy wrested back control.

Then I called on the international community for aid, which culminated in the Church collapsing through treachery from within, and the Coalition taking over.

CoPs is now running the operation to rebuild and reform Vorradia, though another narrative about Allanea invading Smullania looks like it will override the less interesting reformation and reconstruction plot.
