Krasnotav has used the Red Army march ever since the Soviets liberated the nation from Nazi occupation 67 years years ago. After the war, Krasnotav became an SSR in the Soviet Union, and the military traditions and march of the Red Army have remained ever since.

We use the feckoff-step. Like the goose-step, but instead of Nazi saluting, you give the finger.
If a nation is annoying you, it takes 42 muscles to frown, but only 3 muscles to press the big red button and nuke the bajeezes out of them.

((Orky guns work because Orks think they do. If an Ork puts a solid chunk of metal that looks like a magazine into his gun, and he fully believes it carries live rounds, his weapon -will- fire bullets. I'm pretty sure a proper Ork doesn't care if his shoota gets smashed against the ground. If he fully believes that won't damage the weapon, then it won't. Something to do with them having the whole mob psychic field ability-thing))

For humans, TurtleShroom performed goosestepping until 1990. After that, it was replaced with easier, American-style marches. Most historians and politicians say they actually did this to give the nation a "facelift". Goosestepping looked "too evil" for a Christian nation, apparently. Besides, when most of your soldiers are over siven foot eight, that's really difficult to not kick a soldier in front of you. Still, it was more intimidating. Some older generals want it back.

Mushrooms, having no feet, simply float in unison at the same speed to form the similar block/lines of a regiment going down a square.

-and don't laugh too hard. They can shoot weapons far faster than they can move. Terrorists have lost to TurtleShroom because they underestimated the fact that we make up for our weaknesses.

Straight leg technique, right foot stepoff, generally at 120 beats per minute with a step size of 8 steps to every 5 yards.

An Example

We yell "Warrrrrrr" and then charge in a disoganized fashion. Then again, we also tend to walk like that.

How we March http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=-tY1MtLLxgc much easier than trying to describe it :)
We have two companies of Marines running rampant all over the northern half of this island, and three Army regiments pinned down in the southwestern corner, doing nothing. What the hell is going on?

The Furry Folk do it this way too, with the way our legs are built it's about the only way we can march without a lot of sore paws and leg muscles.

Soldiers in the Empire of Andrelea have four set marching speeds. These are Slow-March, at 30 steps per minute, Half-March, at 60 steps per minute, Single-March, at 120 steps per minute, and Full-March, at 180 steps per minute. Slow-March and Full-March are generally only used when a parade section is making a turn, to allow different parts of the section to arrive at the new heading in time with each other. In parades, all marching speeds are performed in the same manner, with the moving leg being lifted half way up the soldiers lower leg at the top of it's movement, bending at the knee so that the lower part of the moving leg remains perpendicular to the ground, before being placed on the ground. Outside of parade, the same speed commands are used merely to inform soldiers of how fast to move, with no set style. When marching without weapons drawn, soldiers march with their arms swinging in time with the opposite leg, out to 45 degrees from the torso. With pistol gripped ot simillar weapons, the weapon is held over the soldier's shoulder, being held by the pistol grip, with the arm fully bent. The off hand moves as normal. With non-pistol gripped weapons, the weapon is held by the butt with the arm straight. Again, the off hand moves as normal. Saluting in the Empire, an activity often including in parade marches, hence being included here, is done forcefully, with the arm starting 45 degrees right and 20 degrees above parallel with the ground. The arm is then wipped into the salute position, palm down with fingers at temple height, 5 cm from the head.
Political compass:
Economic Left/Right:-8.79
Social Authoritarian/Libertarian: 5.74

The Empire of Andrelea is RP'd in both PMT and FT. RP nation is not identical to NS one. Generally close, but not the same.

About time I saw someone else on these forums who knows what DCI is. *brofist*

I almost used that video, but I wanted the left foot stepoff. So I had to use one from BD.

Our soldiers' ceremonial march is based on health and efficiency, it is recognized that both goosestepping, as well as high raised knee marches, both produce unnecessary strain on the soldiers' leg muscles. Hence, our soldiers march with a healthy power walk of 90 steps per minute, our marches not only instill discipline but physical fitness.

Military parades occur twice a year, once on Soldiers' Day, and once on the High Premier's birthday. Columns are 12 by 24 soldiers.

For starters, no Dragonkinian marches without an awe-inspiring tune that inspires morale into their fighting spirit, and dread into those who would oppose us into the background, otherwise we are no better than those stinking [Redacted]

This will do nicely, as it is indeed the marching theme of the Dragonkinian army.

The Dragonkinian walk in accordance to the Music, synchronized perfectly to each and every beat, with each thump comes a heavy thud as the weighted boot of the Dragonkinian hits the ground, at all times whilst marching, they keep their hands clenched, the thumbs matching the lining on their trousers, they march in their individual platoons in an ordered number, say if there were 50 in the platoon, it would be 5 rows of 10.

Should they be marching with their rifles, they hold it by the stock with one hand and rest it against their shoulder, they are expected to keep it balanced and steady throughout the march, for such is standard drill, the other hand is kept by their trouser line at all times, clenched. If they feel that their gun is falling, then they are permitted to hold it to a balanced point and hope nobody of importance notices.

Vanzidorean national trooper marches only take place in the cities of Syhstemmi (the nation's capitol) and Rijehlli, in full-guard ensemble accompanied with some decorated land vehicles (main battle tanks, self-propelled artillery platforms, mobile AAA, etc.), complete with elite band regiments originating from the 1st Military Orchestra Division. The marchers are in black velvet marching attire, with a gold-lined forge caps and they are armed with wood-stocked AK-107 stainless assault rifles coupled an Alahbammi-33X shock bayonet and/or D-14-01 grenade launcher, and marches are usually paced at a Baltic-styled army goosestep at 120 beat-steps per minute.
