It is just like our national flag it shows just the coat of arms showing a stylized version of a boat with a white background

Since Irimyo is landlocked, we don't have much of a merchant fleet, and therefore don't feel the need to have a separate merchant ensign.
In short, our national flag is also our merchant ensign.

The Democratic Republic of Abanhfleft has a law that requires that every vessel registered into its logs fly the flag of the province where the registration was made. For example, if the MV Ship was registered in Riuwiee, then she would have to fly both the merchant ensign of Abanhfleft and the provincial flag of Riuwiee.

TurtleShroom is landlocked and only has lakes, swamps, deltas, and rivers, no coastline. Nevertheless, all ships must fly this instead of the national flag when they're sailing. Boating without an ensign isn't even a misdemeanor. It's an infraction with the same fine as a speeding ticket.

THE TURTLESHROOM ENSIGN:

Major note: IT'S A PENNANT, NOT A TRADITIONAL FLAG. Get that right or you'll get a lot of ticked off sailors.

Fun trivia: that fish there is an Ichthus. It's an ancient Christian symbol that also doubles, for our nation, as a nautical one.

(Also, ships importing and exporting goods for TurtleShroomers are required to fly this.)

Dystopian ensign. It is just a simplified version of the national flag. Most flags of Dystopianus do not even include the swords and letters anyways.
