Commuter rail lines are quite common in Grays Harbor. In the majority of cities, the commuter lines are an extension of their existing light rail/bus systems. A fewm however, have dedicated standard weight rail which operate to bring commuters from the outskirts and suburbs to the central business and government centers of the major cities.
Of the 12 most prominent standard rail commuter lines, 3 are operated solely by major railroads, 6 are joint Railroad-Transist System operations, and 3 are operated by the relevent Municipal Transit System.
