Greetings.

Welcome to Fall of Gods 2, the sequel to the the thrilling and daring Fall of Gods. Fall of Gods concluded a few months ago with quite a bang. With the start of FOG2, new stories and plots will develop, and new members will be allowed to join. This OP will contain many things, that both newbies and veterans alike will enjoy and need to know.

Fall of Gods 2 is set 20 years after World War 3, which took place at the end of Fall of Gods. The FOG world is Earth, in a Post Modern-Tech time period. Earth utilizes technology on an everyday basis that modern Earth doesn't have, but is not at the point of interstellar travel as of yet. Although, there are malevolent forces out there in space that do have high levels of technology. Fall of Gods 2 will begin as the reconstruction from World War 3 has finally finished. Borders have been redrawn, and the world has changed

FOG2 is a primarily character RP, based around beings with superpowers. These super powered beings are still viewed with distaste, despite 20 years of development.

The rest of the OP will consist of spoilers containing all information pertinent to FOG2. This is the Lore Guide of the RP, and will be followed.

Fall of Gods opens about 21 years before the present. It began in Londim, an empire consisting of Eastern Europe, Germany, and Britain. You can see the political map in "World Map" spolier below. Act 1, The Search for Allies, begins in Berlin, and is about the search for allies of the characters. The Londim government had just revealed the HUNT program, an initiative to hunt down and capture all super powered beings.

Act 1: The Search for Allies
This information is now available on the Wiki.

Act 2: Ascension into Darkness
This information is now on the Wiki.

Act 3: Road to War
Road to War, the third Act, begins three months later, with HUNT's power steadily growing. Mentar has become consumed by power, and wants to expand Londim's power all over the world. Dugal is upgraded from before, now able to phase through solid objects and walk silently.

The Act opens with Dugal killing a senator who is opposing the HUNT program. Mentar is using all of his assets to get what he wants. Meanwhile, Max is shown to have survived the explosion from months previously, and has returned to the Vatican. Also, the Band has split, with half of the group living back in Berlin, while the others have split up among themselves. Card and Eila live alone together in a boat, while Jean, Snow, and Ansed living in Berlin.

After Dugal's assassination completes, Mentar calls Kurt, Reznov, and Dugal in for a meeting. He outlines the plan for HUNT to control the government, starting with Dugal killing the President. Mentar will then take his place. The morning after this plan is made, James visits the Band members in Berlin. He warns Jean that he is going to die. Later in the afternoon, Breail learns that he was created to counter any rouge SPECTRE agents, from Dakarai, someone broken from SPECTRE. Reznov meets Arina, a woman augmented by Nasagori for Reznov's enjoyment.

An hour later, Dugal commences the president's assassination flawlessly. He flees the scene, allowing Mentar to do his dirty work. In a stroke of luck, he passes over the Band's hiding place in Berlin. Dugal attempts to capture them all. In the insuing battle, James manages to escape, but Dugal succeeds in capturing Jean, Ansed, and Snow. Dugal's Phantoms blow the apartment they stayed in to bits. At 3:00 PM, Mentar goes on the news to declare his assumption of the presidency, as well as Reznov being appointed head of the military. HUNT has taken control of Londim.

At 7 PM that evening, Nasagori has begun to do experiments upon Ansed, Snow, and Jean, leaving Dugal to guard over them during his break. Ansed manages to break his bonds and engages Dugal in a duel, allowing Snow and Jean time to escape. However, Jean enters a comatose state, meaning Snow must flee alone. Dugal is able to defeat Ansed, as Nasagori returns.

Snow runs through the HUNT facility, trying to escape. She ducks into a hidden lab, where she reads logs, learning that Nasagori is part of a series of clones. Nasagori and his men are about to find her, when she goes into a even deeper lab. There, she runs into Omega, a diabolical monster and clone of Nasagori. He makes a deal allowing Snow to escape, in exchange for her blood. Snow agrees, though wants Ansed set free. Omega lies and then teleports her away. Afterwards, Ansed is subjected to a mind change, his will being taken from him.

About an hour later, Breail is meeting with Dakarai again, for the purpose of planning the downfall of SPECTRE. Meanwhile, Card and Eila are attacked by the Londim navy. They attempt to escape, but the HUNT forces are lead by Captain Calhoun, a super in control of the water. They battle him, losing badly. Breail then enters the scene, helping them to push back Calhoun. Calhoun then reveals his Fiend form, and tries to drown them all. However, Breail, Card, and Eila manage to survive, while Calhoun presumably drowns. During this, Snow returns to the wreckage of the apartment, finding Skii. She attempts to help her, when a women by the name of Annie arrives. Annie helps them escape the rubble, and takes them to a safe hiding place, a graveyard.

Later that night, Dugal takes off from HUNT, wanting a break. He goes to bar, where he meets Elena. They connect instantly, and they return to Elena's home to make love. Dugal finds himself very attracted to this women. Meanwhile, Eila and Card leave Breail, when a boy named Silas encounters Breail. Silas is a super with the power to destroy matter, and was experimented upon by HUNT. Breail and his group agree to take Silas back to their hideout.

At about 12:30 AM the following morning, Ansed awakens to find himself altered. Eila and Card are walking in the woods when they are captured by HUNT as well. Dugal awakens in Elena's apartment, and leaves to return to HUNT. As he returns, he notices himself being followed. Dugal shrugs it off, when the man attacks him. Dugal is surprised to find himself knocked to the ground. The man then reveals himself to be Dugal's true father. Dugal's father implores him to leave HUnt, but Dugal refuses to listen. He manages to blind his father and run away. Meanwhile, Ansed is introduced to his new life under HUNT, and meets Lily, another Fiend.

Dugal returns to HUNT, finding Lily, Fiend of Air, chatting with Ansed. Ansed and Lily then head down to train together. Lily shows her proficiency with air, while Ansed trains with his new projectile feathers. Lily strips to her underwear, to increase her power control, and Ansed finds himself drawn to her. As they finish training, Card and Eila awaken to find themselves with Nasagori.

Four hours later, Nasagori reveals Mentar is Card's father, and Dugal and Card taunt each other. Card refuses to believe Mentar is his father, but Nasagori simply taunts about it and laughs. Dugal is mad he can't kill Card then. Card and Eila go the dining hall, where Ansed and Lily are. Dugal follows them, talking to Elena who has called them.Card finds Ansed, and feels betrayed. Ansed tries to explain he has no choice, but Card doesn't listen.

Meanwhile, the Vatican sends assasains acting as diplomats to meet with Mentar. Sebastian meets with Mentar, whilst Max and Annette try to break into HUNT. Sebastian receives assurance that Mentar will not go after Rome, while Max and Annette fail to get in. As Sebastian leaves the meeting with Mentar, he receives a call telling him to go to a church in Berlin. He tells Max and Annette to meet him there. During this, Reznov is searching for Mentar, who heads to HUNT HQ to find him. Also Breail and his gang arrive at the safehouse with Silas, and continue their training, while Silas looks around.

After Reznov arrives at HQ, SPECTRE vans arrive and a Mr Smith talks to Reznov. Mr Smith requests that they kill Breail, and leaves. Reznov then tries to find Mentar once more, and heads to the mess hall. There, he is suprised to find many of the Band, now working with HUNT. Reznov meets Lily, whom he takes a liking too, as she abuses Ansed for his enjoyment. Reznov also learns that Calhoun is the Fiend of Water and Lily is the Fiend of Air, two of four fiends created by Nasagori. During this, the Vatican assasains arrive at the chruch and meet Pedro, who informs them that HUNT has more nefarious purposes.

Mentar arrives at the dining hall, and Reznov goes to meet with him. Mentar orders Reznov to put the Four Fiends in command of the various branches of the military, and get Dugal to kill Breail. Ansed begins to leave the dining hall, depressed about his abuse by Lily, when Omega and Nasagori appear and drag him back into the mess hall. Omega then declares a new world order, with HUNT in charge, and orders a full man hunt of Snowflake. Those who resist are killed. Meanwhile at Breail's base, Dakarai betrays the group, killing them all save Breail. Dakarai explains that resisting SPECTRE is foolish and attempts to kill Breail. Breail wins the fight, but Silas sees it happening.

Meanwhile, Snow, Annie, and Skii decide they need to leave Londim, and begin to flee. Reznov gives orders about the hunt for Snow, but Ansed returns to his room exhausted, feeling some sickness. Lily goes to meet the other Fiends, Riesla of fire, and Michael of earth. Dugal gathers his Phantoms and begins to search for Breail. At Breail's base, SPECTRE agents break in and begin to attack. Silas is very upset and his powers dissolve the entire base, before knocking him out. Breail does his best to fight off SPECTRE, when Dugal arrives. Dugal gasses the area, and captures all of the SPECTRE agents. Dugal then challenges Breail to a duel, gaining a upper hand. However, Breail reveals his Psi-flame, and blasts Dugal. It screws up Dugal's phasing, and he phases deep down into the earth. Breail uses the opportunity to escape.

About ten minutes later, Dugal is able to get back to the surface, though Breail is long gone. Dugal heads back to his Pelican, when he spots Silas. He cuffs the kid with power dampers, and takes him to the Pelican. On the way back to HUNT, Dugal interrogates Silas, asking him why he was at the ruins. Silas says he was part of HUNT, but Dugal isn't sure whether to believe him. With Breail, he has run into a man requesting his help in freeing his sister from SPECTRE. Dugal arrives at HUNT, dropping off Silas at the appropriate place. He reports to Mentar, who is highly disappointed with his failure. He orders Dugal to kill his girlfriend Elena, as punishment. Dugal is distraught.

An hour later, Ansed awakens feeling sick from a disease called Neo-Stigma. He goes to the hangar, where Lily and Reznov await. Arina shows up, giving Reznov a high tech hammer. The relationship between them becomes clearer, as Arina is his equal, causing Reznov to give her respect and love. As they head towards Snow, Ansed questions why Reznov betrayed them. Reznov says he was punished and tortured for six months under Nasagori, and no one saved him. In reality, it was Nasagori's mind alter. Reznov reminds Ansed that if Snow is not captured, he will use Lily how he wants. Ansed is upset, and also notices others getting Neo-stigma.

They spot Snow on radar about ten minutes later, and they go after her. Lily finds Snow first, and begins to taunt her. Snow becomes frightened, and wants Annie and Skii. Ansed heads in as well, but before Lily turns into her frightening demon form. Lily traps Snow, Annie, and Skii in a vortex, and all seems doomed. But then, Snow is able to access the power of the four elements, and escapes, but has to leave Skii and Annie behind. Reznov sees Snow escape, and orders Ansed and Hunter-killers to pursue her.

Reznov captures Annie and Skii, as Ansed arrives at Snow. He and Snow battle, though it is saddening on both sides. It is even, until the Neo-stigma hurts Ansed, and Snow gets the upperhand. She blasts him with all four elements, knocking him out and killing most of the Hunter-killers, before escaping. Reznov arrives finding Ansed knocked out. He is annoyed, but carries Ansed and goes to the Pelican with Lily. About ten minutes later, they arrive at HQ. Ansed, Annie, and Skii are sent to be examined, while Reznov meets Michael, Fiend of earth, and also gay. They converse, and Michael is made head of the army. Reznov then goes with Lily to have sex with Arina.

The Act ends with the discovery that Neo-stigma is spreading everywhere, infecting Eila. There is no cure, but the symptoms are black spots and increased super powers. Nasagori has the disease as well. The following morning, Reznov awakens after having sex with Arina and Lily most of the night. He contemplates the coming war, and goes to order the troops.

Act 4: Terrors of War
Act 4, Terrors of War, begins two months later, with World War III having started. Londim is locked in war against the French and Romans, who attacked Londim for their attacks on supers and to stop Nasagori's plot. Speaking of, Beta Nasagori has died to the Neo-stigma, leaving Omega the sole Nasagori.

Beginning with Fall of Gods 2, we are now welcoming new members, to refreshen the stock of players in this role-play. As you can see, this role-play is run by highly skilled RP'ers who are very dedicated to the role-play.

We are glad to welcome new people to the Fall of Gods world. However, we also want to maintain the high quality of this RP, and make sure the lore of it is not damaged. Thus we have a series of guidelines for those who seek to join. You must follow the following guidelines:

-You must keep a high level of grammar and spelling in your posts. We are skilled role players, and we make sure our posts are easily readable to anyone involved or just following. Please, do not make your posts look like a third grade child wrote them. They must look pretty and have sheen.

-Please do not god mod. The veterans of this role-play are very familiar with each other, and thus have allowed some degree of character control by the other players, such as choosing damage and what attacks hit. However, for new people, we will ask you do not do such a thing without the other player's explicit permission, until we get to know you better.

-This role play is VERY story driven. Everything the brain trust posts is most likely focused on forwarding the plot, and insuring the plot is of high level and sound. We ask those joining to enter this RP with a mind-set of creating a good plot. That is said for all role-plays, but that concept holds especially true here. Please do not get caught up in who wins or loses a battle.

-The Council and Braintrust hold ultimate authority in this RP. The Council is in charge of all executive decisions, including the acceptance of your application. The Braintrust is in charge of handling the plot and mythos of this RP. If you wish to introduce a major story concept, please run it by the Braintrust first, to insure it does not dampen the overall plot of the role play.

-Please do not join if you plan only to stay for a short time. We do not want people who won't stick it through till the end. It helps detract from the story. And even if you don't plan to leave after a short time, please examine your RPing history. If you are the type that gets bored and leaves a RP, please don't join.

-Finally, please have fun. Despite our series of rules, they are all focused on enhancing the RP experience here.

Section A: The Multiverse

A.1. There is an infinite number of universes, or the number of universes is so great that it may just as well be infinite.
A.2. In every single one of these universes, the laws of physics are ever so slightly different, to the point that there are universes almost completely identical to the universe
in which the FOG story takes place, save for one single decision made by one single person at one single point in time. Yet, there are also universes where the laws
of physics are virtually nonexistent, or are so different from ours that in the eyes of mortal humans, they would appear nightmarishly surreal.
A.3. Universes have a variable number of dimensions. In all universes similar to the FOG universe however, there are the normal three spatial dimensions and the dimension
of time, as well as at least two other dimensions, one of which is used by some super-humans and machines as a means of transportation (aka, teleportation), while
the other is the bridge between the mortal universe and the soul universe (more on this in section B)
A.4. Most universes are somehow drawn towards other universes, causing them to overlap and share one or more dimensions. It is this which makes inter-universal travel possible.
A.5. Each universe in which humankind exists is peculiarly paired with another universe, where the souls of the humans in that specific universe reside.
A.6. Though the mortal universes in these pairs are potentially accessible through one or more dimensions, the soul universes are locked behind a membrane which allows
only souls and soul-links to pass through.
A.7. In-between the universes and their overlaps, there exists a mysterious place known as the Cosmic Shadow. The exact nature of the Cosmic Shadow is unknown, but it is said
that it houses mythical and horrifying demi-gods, of which the prime example would be the Shadowlord.
A.8. Curiously enough, there is a massive amount of universes which are literally void of any mass and energy. This collection of empty universes is simply called the 'Void'.
Only few know the actual story behind the empty worlds.

Section B: Souls, Soul-links, and Soul-threads

B.1. Every naturally born human being houses a soul which is the highest seat of consciousness of that human as well as the source of his superpower(s).
B.2. Souls are capable of controlling their human bodies and transferring their energy through connections known as 'soul-links'.
B.3. Every human being has a corresponding soul, and as such has one single soul-link.
B.4. Upon the death of a human, his soul-link will be severed. As a result, a new soul-link will be grown between the soul and the soul universe, drawing the soul towards the
soul universe. It is possible for a strong soul to break this new soul-link, allowing them to roam the mortal universe freely in spirit form. (e.g. Max Morton)
B.5. If a soul or its soul-link is destroyed even though the corresponding human still lives, the human will turn into a mindless figurative vegetable.
B.6. Souls which remain within a soul universe may potentially exist forever, while souls roaming a mortal universe will disintegrate over a long period of time.
B.7. Souls can have a variety of different shapes, which directly dictate what superpower(s) the corresponding human possesses.
B.8. Souls require humans in order to create new souls. When two humans mate and a new child is underway, the three individuals are connected through one another via so called
'soul-threads'. The souls of the parents send their energy through their soul-threads to the to-be-created soul of the child until the child's soul has been fully formed, after
which the soul-threads are broken.
B.9. This new soul generally adopts the shapes of its parent souls, though it is possible for a certain combination of shapes to manifest into a completely new and exotic shape.
B.10. While the soul is being created, its soul-link between itself and its human child is also formed, and will connect the newborn human to the newborn soul sometime during pregnancy.

Section C: Superpowers

C.1. There are two types of superpowers: those granted through mutations or body alterations, and those granted through soul-links. The beast-men created by Mentar is an
example of the former, while Snowflake's elemental powers would be an example of the latter.
C.2. The shape of a soul dictates what superpower(s) its corresponding human body possesses.
C.3. You can conclude from C.2. and B.9 that a child usually inherits the superpowers of one or both of its parents, but may rarely obtain a wildly different superpower.
C.4. The energy of the human's soul is used to fuel this superpower, which travels through the soul-link.
C.5. Of course, the energy a human soul has is not infinite, and the total amount of energy varies from soul to soul. It takes time for this energy to regenerate. The rate of
regeneration also varies from soul to soul.
C.6. Similarly, the widths of soul-links also vary. The wider a soul-link, the faster energy can be transported from the soul to the human, making the human's superpower stronger.
C.7. All three of these (the total amount of energy a soul has, the rate at which a soul regenerates energy, and the width of its soul-link) can be trained and potentially
be manipulated through undisclosed means.
C.8. As you may have concluded by now, every single human being possesses superpowers. This is however not the case, for the following two reasons. First and most importantly,
the human brain requires a specific structure in order to have even the mere POTENTIAL of tapping into his superpowers. This structure tolerates extremely little deviation
and as such there are but a few families which are capable of spawning potentional superhumans. (As you probably already know, the structure of the brain is dependent on
what is written in the DNA, making the potential for superpowers hereditary.)
C.9. Secondly, the human needs a certain determination or confidence in his own potential. If a human is unconvinced of his potential or is insecure in general, chances are that
even if all other conditions are perfect, he will not be able to use his powers, or may be able to use his powers but not be able to properly control them.

Section D: Trivia

D.1. The Collective's Psychosphere surrounding Earth is an extremely advanced field which manipulates the development of the brains of unborn babies, bringing the structure
of their brains closer to the specific structure required to be able to tap into their superpowers. This has as a result that the ratio of superhumans to normal humans
has grown immensely.

2011 Awards, Winners in italics

The nominees for longest post. Writing a long post is difficult. While it needs to be full of information, it can't drone on like Ben Stein or people won't read the whole thing. Below are posts that exemplify what it takes to write a long but engaging piece of writing.

The Fall of Gods 1: Act 5 Opener by Warhaven
-The opener to the final act of FOG1, Warhaven presents the world's entry into the void and the seeming loss of hope. Until Bernadette pulls the heroes out to battle the most powerful super encountered in FOG, Omega.

Operation: Dracula by Earth Sphere Coalition
-Close to the end of Act 4 of FOG1, it features what happens in Londim upon the death of King Reznov. His newly widowed wife enacts his failsafe plan, to take the riches of Londim so that the Reznov family may begun anew elsewhere.

The Fall of Gods 2: Opening Post by Agadar
-Opening FOG2, it describes events occurring six years after the end of the Fall of Gods 1. The murder of Max Morton by his former allies. Revealed are the new character Alexander Theosus, as well as Ansed who is now loyal to Rome for reasons unknown.

Writing a funny post is equally difficult to writing a long one. Humor is not universal and it's difficult to translate it onto page for a global audience such as this. Furthermore, FOG's status as a serious RP leaves little room for humor. While no specific posts have been selected, several users here were picked for recognition of humorous posts.

Warhaven
-Likely for humor seen in Zeta and the Board of Directors.

Lol Island
-Probably for his endless trolling in the OOC

Jedi8246
-Not sure. Perhaps someone found some situation I wrote with the Five funny?

Writing a horror/suspense post is perhaps more difficult than the other two. Making someone feel a sense of terror through just writing is very difficult. Only a select few, such as Stephen King, have been able to make a career of horror writing. While some of the submitters were unsure what to put here, it was clear Warhaven was a clear owner of this category. Below are several of his posts that evicted a sense of terror in me.

The Fall of Gods 1: Act 5 Opener by Warhaven
-War's chilling opener to Act 5. As described earlier, the sense of terror as the earth is lost is hard to describe. Despite's Bernadette's actions, the chance of success against the monstrous Omega is low at this point.

The Sin of Wrath is Granted by Warhaven
-Taking place in FOG2, it describes as Vlad Reznov gains the Sin of Wrath. Blood, fire, and a demonic being are all involved envoking chills. The grimness of Vlad gaining such a power is well described here.

The Torture of Lucas Cainby Warhaven
-After Lucas goes against Cat's urges, he enters the Dream World. There, the Ministry of Shadow find him and subject him to his worst nightmares. Lucas's darkest thoughts are thrown at him, causing despair and a sense of hopelessness. Lucas's attempts to fight against it fall feeble.

Inspirational posts must call to the recesses of our hearts and well inspire us. While most members here felt there weren't many of these, one post has been nominated. While there is no competition, if you feel it unworthy then simply don't vote.

The Rise of the Seraph Knights by Agadar
-After Fischer's brutal defeat at the hands of Dugal Cain, his anger to get back is unbeatable. Appointed to the head of the Crusader Corps, Fischer spells out a new dawn for the Corps, reborn as Seraph Knights.

Ahh romance. Romance has played a pretty big role in FOG. Multiple characters had romances that developed into families in FOG2. Children are now present in FOG2 from several FOG1 romances. These relationships need to be well written to be believable. Below are the better relationships of FOG.

Vladimir Reznov and Mary Harrison
-The fiery relationship between the son of Reznov and a bisexual. Both are wielders of Sins, making quite the demonic looking pair. Vlad's inheritance of his father's sexual urges is only enhanced by Mary's Sin of Lust.

Snowflake Booth/Le Vick and Ansed Booth
-Snow's crush on Ansed in FOG1 led to marriage by the end of events. They have a daughter Melody together who has inherited both sides of the gene pool. While Ansed may be with Rome currently, the love between the two can still be seen in their encounters.

Dugal Cain and Elena Cain
-Dugal first met his future wife at a bar in Londim. They sparked, leading to a love at first sight relationship. Mentar used her to control Dugal, and her death caused Dugal to lose his mind. Dugal even choose to give up his vast powers that helped him kill Reznov to have returned to life. While she has spent FOG2 with the Order, Dugal still strives to have her freed.

There have been a multitude of relationships within FOG. Great friendships and alliances have been formed, as well as bitter enemies. Several relationships changed and developed throughout. Here are some of the best.

Melody and Snowflake Booth
-The mother and daughter relationship. The love binding the two is strong and present in FOG2. It is clear that Snow would do anything to protect her daughter.

Dugal Cain and Snowflake Booth
-While the two's relationship didn't emerge for most of FOG1, aside from Dugal's thoughts about Snow looking like his dead sister, the relationship has blossomed. Dugal found that they have a distant bloodline relation leading to a brother sister type relation. Dugal raised Melody and trained her when Snow was thought dead by them, which Snow is grateful for. The bond between the two is now strong.

Dugal Cain and Demetrius Reznov
-Perhaps one of the greater rivalries in FOG. From the moment they met, they couldn't stand each other. Reznov's perhaps jealousy of his quick rise through the ranks to wield the Phantoms created a dislike and bullying. Dugal's anger at Reznov's arrogance led to instant dislike. The two constantly bickered while they worked for HUNT. This climaxed in the final battle between the two. Dugal proved able to kill the tyrant, freeing Reznov's soul from the torment of his life.

One of the more prestigious awards, this awards the one deemed the best character within FOG. Many great and well written characters have been present within FOG, garnering a great reputation. They've loved, fought, and made up all in the enriching story of FOG. While every character is great and unique, below are ones regarded as essential to the RP's status today. (Note: 4 nominees are present due to a close tie.)

King Demetrius Reznov

Bardarus Bismarck

Snowflake Booth

Dugal Cain

Plot, plot, plot. The story is truly what drives any good RP and this RP is full of deep and enriching story-lines. Whether it is the main plot, or one of the many side stories, these provide the purpose and entertainment of the RP. Below are the stories that sucked us in and wouldn't let go.

The Fall of Gods 1 Main Plot
-The rise of Mentar and Hunt, leading to World War 3, before the revelation of Omega's true plot.

The Fall of Gods 2 Main Plot
-Rome's conquest of the world, backed by the Collective's support.

SPECTRE's Operations/ The Order
-While SPECTRE's operations were the majority of the plot in FOG1, the Order later became involved as the creator of SPECTRE. In FOG1, this featured Breail's run from SPECTRE. FOG2 feature the rise of the KNIGHTmares.

Being a hero takes a lot. Many heroes have risked their lives over and over again to save others. Whether those people appreciated it or not, they still remained heroes. Which hero was the biggest hero of 2011?

Dugal Cain

Snowflake Booth

Bardarus Bismarck

Lets be honest, without the villains, there is no story. This character has made you go in a corner and cry in fear.

Omega

King Demetrius Reznov

Mentar Nasagori

Pfft! Hero? Villian? Overrated! Why choose sides?! Some people are just better off going at it down the middle or not at all. The question is, who does it best in 2011?

Breail Rathal

Vladimir Reznov

Quinn Nash

The Rogue Inquisitors, Japan, the Order, HUNT, the Ministry, and the Collective oh my! Yes, FOG is full of various groups and factions that have fueled the story. The question is, which is the best?

The Scientific Collective of Yamato Nasagori

The Londim Empire/ HUNT Forces

SPECTRE

From the start of FOG1, characters have been developing. Good have become bad, and bad have become good. This category rewards those who have developed the best.

King Demetrius Reznov

Snowflake Booth

Dugal Cain

Had a character that just won't stop with the sense of humor? Making us laugh shows a great uniqueness in that character. So who tickled your funny bone in 2011?

Zeta Nasagori
-For bemusing commentaries

Mr Whiskers
-For being so cuddly, and yet so vicious

Milus
-Lamenting his hats

Yes, the best battle. FOG is full of battles, large and small. Which battle was the most reeling and epic? You decide.

Three Way
-Battle between Neostigma Ansed, Mentar, and Snowflake

Dugal vs Breail, Finale
-The epic finale to their rivalry. Starts with a bike chase through Rome, ending in a sword duel in the Colosseum.

The Fall of Gods 1 Final
-The epic final battle between Omega and the forces of good.

Hey, look! We have an active OCC thread!! We talk about all sorts of crap there! Whether it's these OP's by yours truly or LolIsland's humor/trolling, OOC posts are a part of the community. Which one of us have made the best ones?

Lol Island
-For his constant trolling

Jedi8246
-For his dedication to the OP's and keeping the cast list updated

Agadar
-For keeping the balance of fighting and insuring dedication to the story.

Since our Wikia was formed, we've had multiple people here contribute to it becoming the encyclopedia of FOG. Who has done the best work on it?

Agadar

Jedi8246

Earth Sphere Coalition

Without a doubt, the top dog award. Now what makes a member of the year? Someone who posts, makes it known they are here, and most importantly, shows they love the Fall of Gods community.

A few things from the other thread:

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:

So... That makes 4, right? :P.

Also, probably worth bringing up this, as even though this discussion was based on the whole "Soul Bullet" power, it would still apply to my new power:

Earth Sphere Coalition wrote:
We can have you have a dream where your subconscious tells you how long you have left in life. Then you can just subtract the 2 months from that number.

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:
The rest: My subconscious COULD tell me I have 2 months of life left, but I still doubt it would tell me how much time I have left, unless, again, it's set in stone.

Or my mind can subconsciously read all my... Biological processes or something and stuff. Then again, there's diseases, the probability of a violent death, etc...

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:
...If I misunderstood, then I'm still misunderstanding, but... How would anyone or anything not so supernaturalish know how long I'm originally going to live?

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:
Either I'm not completely understanding you, or you're not completely understanding me.

There are several factors at every point in life that could potentially alter, for better or worse, a person's lifespan. That is what I mean. This is why I'm saying that unless we introduce some sort of "Fate", a supernatural way in which our lifespans are set in stone, the "2 months substraction" would make sense.

That said, if this does happen, then I'd buff the substraction up to 5 years. It IS a very powerful ability. It is supossed to NEVER be used. It WILL take a huge toll on the person that uses it.

SuperHappy, your character seems decent and deep enough, but your grammar and spelling are frankly somewhat horrible here and there. Is there any way you could improve those?

Oh, hey, you're forgetting Zirilath.

Zirilrath wrote:
Character Name: Jonas Hamilton
Age: 24
Height: 187 cm
Weight: 90 kg
Eye Color: blue
Hair Color: blond

Powers: Self-duplication, hive mind.
Description of Powers: Jonas can create perfect copies of himself at will, including any inanimate objects he has in his possession at the time. All of the copies operate under a hive-mind structure, sharing a mental connection at all times. The original Jonas can use this connection to give orders to the copies or transfer his mind to one of them. The copies cannot make additional copies.

Abilities: Due to his ability to copy himself Jonas has had many years to devote to studying a wide variety of skills, including everything from cooking to kung-fu.
Weaknesses: He is no stronger or more durable than your average human being. He is also slightly mentally unstable, a side-effect of having experienced so much in such a short time.

Short Biography: Jonas was born in Soviet-occupied Sweden. At the age of sixteen he left home, rebelling against his parents' loyalist view towards the country he saw as vile oppressors. Since then he has traveled the world, wanting to experience all it has to offer. Though he has always dreamed of one day returning home and freeing his homeland from its occupiers.

Role-play Example:

It was a beautiful day in Miami, the sun shining brightly from a cloud-free sky while a light breeze blowing in from sea gave some relief for sweaty brows. On such a wonderful day it was no surprise that thousands of people crowded the streets and beaches, generally just enjoying the beautiful Saturday afternoon. On a beach promenade a small crowd had formed around a lone figure with a guitar, cheering and applauding as he let his fingers work the fretboard with incredible skill. This young man with the guitar, Jonas Hamilton, had found that playing for the crowds was an easy way to earn some fast cash on a sunny day. Just as he finished a song, adoration and money being given to him, he heard a shrill sound in the distance.

Using one hand to block out the sun he gazed in the direction of the sound, which sounded very much like an alarm. He saw a lone figure rushing out of a posh store a couple of blocks away, heading towards him. The crowd seemingly reached the same conclusion, that this running man was a robber, and yet no one stepped up to stop him. The reason for that became very apparent when the man came closer, the sleek black pistol clutched in his right hand discouraging any would-be heroes. Now he was only a few meters away, almost close enough to grab.

The thief glanced briefly at Jonas as he ran past unhindered, allowed to escape with his ill-gotten gains. Today was far too nice a day to die, Jonas thought to himself as he left the scene.

i originally wrote that in Microsoft Word, then again it was close to midnight. my issue probably is and forever shale be a weakish grasp on correct English paragraph structure. i have read through my thing, twice now, and have only made minor capitalization fixes, other then that it looks fine to me

The issue continues now. Even in this post, spelling is off multiple times, as well as capitalization.
I am in agreement with Agadar on this. If you need to take time to slowly write posts to insure proper spelling and grammar, then do so. But until some improvement is shown, I simply can't approve.

Character Name: Milus (Mih-loos). (Last name unknown)
Age: 22
Height: 1.76
Weight: 78 Kg
Eye Color: Left: Olive Green. Right: Light Brown. (Heterochromia)
Hair Color: Black

Powers: An advanced form of Telekinesis, Lifeforce Telekinetic Boost.
Description of Powers:
First Power: In adittion to the usual "Push and pull and move around objects", Milus can use kinetic force to add pressure to an object by directing multiple kinetic force vectors towards the same object from several directions, and use kinetic force to augment his speed or increase the strenght of his strikes, for example. He can also "Influence something that's inside another thing". This means he can, for example, move around an object that's inside a box, or something similar. This power, if used correctly, can be highly lethal, as it could, for instance, tear appart a man's heart. Milus, however, does not know this and would not use it unless absolutely necessary if he did.

Second Power: The Lifeforce Telekinetic Boost is a very strong power that concentrates a portion of Milus' vital force and uses it to fuel Milus' kinetic powers for a limited ammount of time, effectively putting him into a state of "Super telekinesis" where his abilities are incredibly augmented greatly, making his kinetic blasts much more damaging and such. However, the vital force used up greatly decreases Milus' lifespan whenever it is used.

Abilities: Milus doesn't have any specific abilities, besides pheraps his great, yet still human, intelligence.
Weaknesses: Milus can't tolerate extreme temperatures, and he isn't exactly in the best physical condition. Additionally, he hasn't fully mastered his telekinetic powers yet, so, despite being highly unlikely, Milus could fail to use his powers, or worse yet, have them go out of control, even if only for a very short time.

Short Biography: Milus' mother died when he was born, leaving him as an orphan due to the fact that his father died while fighting on WWIII. He was taken in by his father's friend, a relatively wealthy businessman, who treated him as his own child. Milus had a good education. Eventually, Milus fell in love with his father's friend's daughter, who was his sister. Milus supressed this feeling for as long as he could, but one day, he just couldn't take it anymore. He was determined to tell her, but she was at a concert. On her way back, she suffered a car accident and died. This devastated Milus, who became very distant with his own father and the world in general. Eventually, his father died, leaving Milus as the sole heir to his vast fortune.

Role-play Example: Milus was calmly walking through the streets. It was another fine day, the sun was shining high in the sky, which was crystal-clear. Milus, however, did not care about these things, being the distant and somewhat indifferent person he was. Thus, he simply walked forward with the only thing in his mind being his wish to wrap up his business once and for all.

However, just then, he saw a robber broke into a jewelry store, threatening the clerk and running off with a huge stash, leaving the glass shattered on the ground. Milus considered the idea of taking advantage of this for a second, but he dismissed it quickly. He had enough wealth to maintain him well, he didn't need to do such unreasonable and deplorable acts.

Then, Milus considered other options. Calling the police would be useless. The robber was already getting away, and the police were, well, very good at slacking off. Walking off seemed like a reasonable enough thing, but it was rather mean, and the robber could have noticed him and make an attempt on his life in order to get rid of all witnesses.

Finally, he came to his last option. To pursue him. Milus wasn't exactly in the best physical condition, but he could easily run, and aid himself with his powers if he needed to. Besides, there was always the possibility that the jewelry store's clerk was a rather... Influential person, one way or another.

Thus, Milus began to run after the culprit, slowly catching up with him. When the time was right, he threw a trash can on the ground next to the robber, making him trip and fall to the ground. Milus used this oportunity to deliver a punch to the man's face, backed up by a strong kinetic impulse, which knocked the man down. He then picked up the jewels and walked back to the man's store.

Milus gave the jewels back to the store's clerk. The clerk thanked him, but Milus stated that it was his pleasure to help a fellow human being. Milus then asked the man's name, and after receiving it, walked away. "Mr. Roberts, huh? He could prove useful." Milus thought to himself as he walked towards his appointment. "I hope I'm not late."

I edited the app. Took out the "Soul Bullet" power, put in something else.

By the way, I didn't just quote the original app then edit it. I edited the original app then quoted it. Just saying.

Sh**, I just noticed an incredible screw up in my app. >.>

Can't say I'm fond of the subconscious somehow knowing to what age you'll live and using bits of soul power takes a set amount of time from your lifespawn.

Why not just go with the old idea, where he destroys part of his soul?

Also, I'd like to ask Zirilath to dig up his own application and repost it.

I am in agreement with Agadar on this. If you need to take time to slowly write posts to insure proper spelling and grammar, then do so. But until some improvement is shown, I simply can't approve.

Alright, I will try to put more then necessary work into posting. Just don't be surprised when it takes me 20 minutes to continue an action scene

...Well, you did say you disliked the old idea. Or at least thought it wasn't exactly fitting. Thus, I changed it.

Now, the reason I posted the discussion between me and ESC is because he suggested that I presented it to the council.

The subconscious part doesn't need to be. The new ability doesn't "Use bits of soul power", but it does take away a set ammount of Milus' lifespan.

If you don't like the idea, I suposse I can work something else out...

It is ok to take 20 minutes. We'd rather you take your time and put up good posts, than rush through and post crap.

Already you're improving. This post is good and solid.

The part of the Soul Bullet I didn't like was the bullet part. After all, if the character is skilled enough to shape bits of his own soul into bullets then surely there's a whole range of other soulpower-related things he should be able to do, but somehow can't? Anyway, these are but minor details. Besides, you're already accepted into the roleplay. Don't sweat it.

Actually, he used 'then' where he should have used 'than'. Also, he's missing a period at the end of his last sentence. Nothing I can't bear though.

Yeah. My main concern is legibility. I have made minor mistakes such as that before.

Bold: I can't believe I didn't understand that until now. :palm:

Italicized: Well, most Telekinetics, for example, NEVER use more than ONE kinetic impulse at ANY GIVEN TIME, when they certainly could, and would be able to do so much badass things by doing so. The most reasonable explanation is that they don't know how, even though they have the potential to do so. Likewise, if we went with the Soul Bullet power (Which I understand we didn't), he would certainly have the skill to do other things, but wouldn't know how to.

I'm just stating a few facts, anyways. I don't really want the Soul Bullet back, I prefer the new power I picked. I simply thought it was worth clarifying.

Underlined: Well, I was just saying. Besides, some of those aspects would greatly help character development should it come to that.

Here is my app for Lucas. Since Agadar insisted. ;)

Character Name:Lucas Cain
Age:20
Height: 6'0''
Weight:157 lbs
Eye Color:Brown
Hair Color:Brown

Powers: Manipulation of Electricity
Description of Powers: He currently is capable of shooting bolts and streams of lightning from his body, that deliver a fairly powerful shock. He draws power from any electrical object, though he currently has a limit on how much electricity his body can store. Each of his electrical abilities drains power from his "stores" of electricity in his body. He is also able to create minor shockwaves of electricity, and can heal himself by being connected to electrical sources long enough. Finally, he can create restraints made of electricity, that pin down a person, making them unable to move.

Abilities:Taught how to wield a katana by his father and channels his powers into the sword; Acrobatics; High knowledge level of mechanics
Weaknesses: Water. If he contacts water, it "fries" him, weakening him. Although he can use water as a conductor for those in it.

Short Biography:
Lucas Cain was born to Dugal and Elena Cain in the year 2023. They loved and cared for him, cherishing him. However, his childhood quickly became dangerous. Assassins from the Vatican became to come after Dugal, for reasons unknown. Dugal constantly had to uproot his family, thus Lucas never had a stable environment. He was trained by his father to defend himself, feeling it was important for him to be able to fight against those who would hurt them.

When he was about 17, an incident occurred, causing him to resent Dugal and shun him. Lucas fled home the following year, and tried to live on his own. He spent the year raising money and making a living, before going to America, to get away from his past. He has lived in America for a year, living a care-free life.

@Agadar: Well, we see people with powers all the time. TV, comics, etc. There's many powers. One of them is Telekinesis. But all we see that Telekinetics do is make things float around and such. I've never really seen one do something creative with that power, to be quite honest, and the most reasonable explanation is that the characters with those powers don't know how to.

Then, we get the Soul Bullet power. By having it, it is implied that the character is indeed skilled enough to shape a part of it's soul into a bullet. This level of skill would indeed allow it to do other things. However, if the character is not able to do it, the most reasonable explanation is that, again, it does not know how to.

This is what I meant. Is it clearer?

@Jedi: Not quite as badass as Cole, though.

Since I did Melody's app in bio form, this is it in app form :)!
Character Name: Melody Booth
Age: 14
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 110 lbs
Eye Colour: Bluey Green
Hair Colour: Naturally brown, although he has died it red
Powers: Elemental Control
Description of Powers: This elemental control is different to that of her mother's. Instead of the traditional four elements, she can contol electricity, light, nature and nature, although currently she only knows about electricity and light.
Abilities: She's a violinist and a keen chef but other than that, just normal, everyday stuff.
Weaknesses: She's incredibly naive and unaware that her powers can even do anything that can cause harm.
Short Biography: I did write on, do I need to write another?
Role-play Example: Do I need one!?
Call me Alby // I'm a She

All this argument is reminding me of is "Wonderboy" from Tenacious D

"Now its time for me to tell you about young nasty man, archrival and nemesis of wonderboy
with powers comprable to wonderboy.
What powers you ask? I dont know how bout the power of flight.
That do anything for ya?
That's levitation holmes?
How bout the power to kill a yak?
From 200 yards away with mind bullets!
that's telekenesis Kyle!
How bout the power...to move you?"

Frankly, I think this is just going through the motions for Council members. I already approve of it, as I'm sure the others will. No need to make it super extensive.
