Welcome to the YellowApple, Inc. Diplomatic Registration System, operated and maintained by the YellowApple Department of International Relations. This site serves as a "one-stop shop" for the establishment of embassies and consulates within YellowApplan jurisdiction, as well as to examine the current YellowApplan Embassy Directory for both foreign embassies within YellowApplan jurisdiction and YellowApplan embassies abroad.
About YellowApple, Inc.
YellowApple, Inc. is a multiversal corporation and sovereign nation specializing in aerospace technologies, information technology, hydroponic/aeroponic agriculture, carbon materials manufacturing, hydrogen fuel production, and superluminal ("faster-than-light") transportation. YellowApple, Inc. was founded in 1975 CE, and became a sovereign state in 2021 CE; now, two Julian centuries later, YellowApple, Inc. exists as a role model for technological, economic, and cultural achievement.
YellowApple, Inc. has had a profound presence in the Pony Lands region since the YellowApplan Equine Influx, a large-scale operation in which YellowApple, Inc. negotiated for the safety and freedom of millions of sapient equine refugees in conjuction with several other major members of the Coalition of Ponyist States. Subsequently, YellowApple, Inc. moved three of its aerospace cities into the Pony Lands region, established an underwater city and research station on the floor of the Tacitus Ocean, and maintains close economic and political relations with the United Socialist States of Marxist Equines, the proximity of which to Equestria has made it a phenomenal location for archæological research into the history of Equus sapiens.
However, this isn't nearly the extent of YellowApple, Inc.'s operations. From Manzanopolis Prime - YellowApple, Inc.'s capital and largest city, located in the L4 point between Sol and Earth - to numerous Expeditionary Fleets scattered throughout multiple universes, it's hard to find any place that hasn't at least had basic interaction with YellowApple, Inc. or its people.
Major YellowApplan Cities
Manzanopolis Prime
Manzanopolis Prime is YellowApple, Inc.'s capital and largest city. It is located in the L4 point between Earth and Sol, and is the focal point of the YellowApplan Superluminal Transit Network; virtually every city in YellowApplan jurisdiction has at least one direct connection to Manzanopolis Prime.
Manzanopolis Prime is home to the Administrative District (which houses the Administrative Residence, Administrative Offices, and headquarters for the Aerospace Defense Corps, Aerospace Marine Corps, and Domestic Security Corps), Ambassadorial District (which houses all embassies within YellowApplan jurisdiction), and the University of Manzanopolis Prime (one of the world's most prestigious universities).
Trololopolis
Trololopolis is YellowApple, Inc.'s second-oldest city, and serves as an artistic and cultural hub. The Trololopolis music scene in particular has been bustling for more than a century, and the calibre of musicians originating from Trololopolis is nearly unmatched. Trololopolis is home to the Trololopolis Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, one of the world's finest art academies, and the Trololopolis Philharmonic.
Del Tangerino
Del Tangerino is a resort city, with heavy emphasis on tourism. Aside from the numerous high-quality hotels, resorts, and casinos throughout the city, Del Tangerino is also home to the Del Tangerino School of Medicine and the YellowApplan Veterans' Memorial.
Torvaldsville
Torvaldsville is a city whose tech sector is matched only by Manzanopolis Prime (and even then). Just as notable, however, is Torvaldsville's crucial role in the YellowApplan Equine Influx, in which it served as the first waypoint - and for many, the eventual home - of millions of sapient equine refugees who sought safety and shelter after having been evacuated from a land hostile to them. Torvaldsville is home to the Torvaldsville Institute of Technology, the YellowApplan Harmonist Association, the YellowApplan Society for Secular Harmonism, and a number of massive datacenters.
Drop Point
Drop Point is a young city. It is the only YellowApplan city to exist on or below Earth's surface (in its case, on the floor of the Tacitus Ocean, in the northern portion of the Pony Lands region). Drop Point is known for its extensive utilization of geothermal energy from a seismically-active seafloor crater in which the city was built; as a result, Drop Point (and surrounding geothermal and tide-kinetic energy production facilities) are equipped to handle the electrical needs of much of the Pony Lands.
Embassies Within YellowApplan Jurisdiction
Embassies within YellowApplan jurisdiction are in most cases located within the Ambassadorial District of Manzanopolis Prime, YellowApple, Inc.'s capital and largest city. While Manzanopolis Prime is located beyond Earth's immediate orbit (in the L4 point between Earth and Sol), the numerous YellowApplan cities throughout Earth's atmosphere - as well as YellowApple, Inc.'s seafloor city, Drop Point - provide ample connections to Manzanopolis Prime via the YellowApplan Superluminal Transit Network, making Manzanopolis Prime accessible to any nation regardless of its technological level.
YellowApple, Inc. will allocate to your ambassadorial staff its own ambassadorial facility, which in its default configuration will include the following amenities, among others:
- 4 spaces for small-sized (up to 128 × 128 × 32 meters) aerospace vehicles in a dedicated hangar
- 32 parking spaces for automobiles in a dedicated parking garage
- 16 offices
- 4 cubicle spaces (configured with 16 cubicles each)
- 2 conference rooms
- 1 lobby
- 1 datacenter with 128V and 256V power connections (other voltages available upon request), along with fibre-optic data connections
- 2 locker rooms w/ showers
- 8 restrooms (ranging from 2 to 8 latrines each)
- 1 kitchen/breakroom with vending machines and water coolers
Additionally, the following amenities, among others, are available within or near the Ambassadorial District:
- Multiple parks and green areas
- An abundance of restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs, and diners
- Connections to the YellowApplan Superluminal Transit Network and YellowApplan Superluminal Rail Network
On top of all this, any non-YellowApplan ambassadorial staff and their families will receive the same perks as YellowApplan citizens, notably:
- Residential space, scaled appropriately for the size of one's family, courtesy of the YellowApple Department of Domestic Relations
- Free use of YellowApplan public transportation courtesy of the YellowApple Department of Transportation
- Free use of YellowApplan public healthcare facilities courtesy of the YellowApple Department of Public Health and Safety
- Various other rights and benefits
Consulates Within YellowApplan Jurisdiction
Consulates may also be established in YellowApple, Inc.'s major cities (some of which are listed above) using the separate Consular Registration Form. Note that an embassy is required in order to establish consulates, though you are welcome to submit any Consular Registration Forms alongside an Ambassadorial Registration Form.
Unlike embassies, consulates are not pre-allocated by YellowApple, Inc.; you and/or your consular staff will be responsible for obtaining a suitable space within the YellowApplan city selected. However, non-YellowApplan consular staff and their families still receive the same perks as their ambassadorial counterparts.
Diplomatic Immunity Policy
Unless otherwise specified, all diplomatic, security, and service staff - except on ambassadorial grounds - are subject to the entirety of YellowApplan law, with several notable exceptions:
- Ambassadors and consuls - and their families - may not be arrested other otherwise detained for any reason. They may, however, be fined for felonies or misdemeanors, and may additionaly be asked to leave YellowApplan jurisdiction - be it temporarily or permanently - in the event of particularly-severe felony charges (rape, murder, etc.). Since ambassadors and consuls act as diplomatic representatives of their home nations, chronic or especially-severe violations of YellowApplan law by an ambassador or consul (or the failure of an ambassador or consul to address such chronic / especially-severe illegal behavior among designated family members) may result in diplomatic sanctions.
- Officially-designated diplomatic staff and their families may only be arrested or otherwise detained for felonies (but may still be fined for any crime).
Aside from these exceptions, all personnel are fully accountable for their actions outside of embassy grounds.
Oxygen Conservation Ordinances
Most YellowApplan cities and settlements - including Manzanopolis Prime - have implemented oxygen conservation ordinances within their jurisdictions in order to prevent oxygen from being wasted. There are thus several considerations in regard to such restrictions:
- Smoking of any substance (tobacco, cannabis, etc.) is prohibited except in specifically-designated areas throughout Manzanpolis Prime. If you would like to permit smoking within your nation's ambassadorial grounds, please notify the YellowApple Department of Infrastructure (and/or mention this request in the Miscellaneous Requests section of the Ambassadorial Registration Form) so that your embassy can be fitted with the necessary equipment to filter out such pollutants and isolate your embassy's air supply from the rest of Manzanopolis Prime.
- All automobiles must use a "clean" propulsion system / drivetrain; such systems include (but are not limited to) electric-only, hydrogen-combustion, nuclear fission, nuclear fusion, antimatter annihilation, and compressed air propulsion systems. Vehicles which do not adhere to this policy will be required to be converted so that they do adhere. If desired, the YellowApple Department of International Relations can forward the vehicle to an automotive maintenance facility upon import for such conversion. All such conversions are at the expense of the owner of the vehicle. Failure to perform a conversion may result in fines or - in the event of continued violation of such policy - impounding of the vehicle in question.
- Any incendiary devices/firearms/munitions must be registered with the YellowApple Department of Infrastructure
In addition to oxygen-preservation regulations, the following rules may also affect certain imports:
- Vehicles with treads are generally restricted from operating on most YellowApplan roads. Such vehicles must be either fitted with conventional tires (if possible) or with "road safe" treads in order to avoid road damage. Non-compliant vehicles will fail certification for road operation.
- Explosive munitions (defined as munitions which contain an explosive charge other than a charge used for propulsion of the munition), including munitions which deploy other munitions by explosive means, must be registered with the YellowApple Department of Infrastructure.
