The Cassadagan Association for Soccer Excellence (CASE) welcomes the fifteen nations that will be joining us for the 54th World Cup that is played here, in Cassadaigua.

Group E nations will play at Concord Heights Stadium, in the capital city of Concord Heights itself. Concord Heights is the northeastern part of the country. This is the stadium in which the national team players and subsequently you will see a lot of the national team’s history on the premises. The stadium is best known for its “Momument Park” in each end zone. Where other stadiums will have boards behind the net that advertise products, this stadium has a “monument row” on each end. One end recognizes those who’s jerseys are retired from the World Cup teams while the other recognizes members of our World Baseball Classic and World Bowl teams. It’s capacity is 78,000.

The only game of Group E that will not be played here is the MD3 contest between Bostopia and Starblaydia. This match will be sent about 70 miles south to Winchester, at Winchester Stadium, which seats 62,000.

Group F nations will be playing at central city of Rutland at Rutland Stadium. This is an older stadium, but it has been maintained extremely well to the point where its age makes it seen like a classic. Every time there has been talk about replacing the stadium with something newer, the locals have protested against it. It has a capacity of 68,000, and it is often said that not one of them is a bad seat as the sightlines are great.

The only Group F match that will not be here is the MD3 match between Jeru FC and Qazox. This match will still be in Rutland, but played on the campus of the University of Rutland. That football field seats 55,000.

Group G teams will be playing in the city often referred to as Tech City as it is the centerpoint for all technological industry within Cassadaigua. The name of the Southeastern city is Brattleboro and you will be playing at the Brattleboro Stadium, which is an over-the-top, lavish, state-of-art facility which can seat 92,000. Traditionally, it is almost twice as expensive to get a ticket here as it would be in Concord Heights, but your fans can thank CASE for standardizing prices so that will not happen here. Make sure you arrive early as to not miss the elaborate pre-game light show before every match.

The Group G match that will not be here is the MD3 contest between Kagdazka and Pazhujebu and Krytenia. You will be sent about 50 miles west to Starksville, and will play at the University of Starksville’s 46,000 seat stadium. This University is where most of those tech-savvy students go, so you will get your elaborate pre-game light show as well.

Finally, Group H will be playing at the 84,000 seat Grande Mountain Stadium. The city of Grande Mountain is just what you think it would be, up in the mountains of western Cassadaigua, about 3000-feet above seat level. It is also the second largest city in the country, famous for it’s ski resorts.

The Group H game not played here will be MD3 match between Albundania and Sibirsky, about 100 miles west. You will be sent to the city of New Lakeland and play at the remodeled 66,000 seat New Lakeland Stadium. This city was formerly Lakeland, Secristan, and made Cassadagan property in the Treaty of Division of that nation between us and Newmanistan when it ceased to exist.

Second Round Games:
Match 53: Winner Group E v Runner-up Group H at Brattleboro Stadium
Match 54: Winner Group F v Runner-up Group G at Concord Heights Stadium
Match 55: Winner Group G v Runner-up Group F at Grande Mountain Stadium
Match 56: Winner Group H v Runner-up Group E at Rutland Stadium

Quarterfinals:

Match 59: Winner 53 v Winner 54 at Brattleboro Stadium
Match 60: Winner 55 v Winner 56 at Concord Heights Stadium

Semifinal:
Match 62: Winner 59 v Winner 60 at Concord Heights Stadium

3rd place:
Match 63: Loser 61 v Loser 62 at Concord Heights Stadium

Guide to the World Cup 54 Venues

The Football Federation of Babbage welcomes you to The Babbage Islands and to World Cup 54!

Seven cities and eight stadiums are hosting matches here in this World Cup. Four of the stadiums host only one match each, to meet the technical requirement that all matches on the last day of a group are played simultaneously. These secondary sites are all less than two hours from a corresponding principal site to minimise any inconvenience.

Dover, Cayley

Whitecliff Stadium in the seaside city of Dover will host the World Cup 54 final. Whitecliff is the home of storied Dover City, winners of eight Premier League championships and the only founding club to have played every season without relegation. World Cup Hall of Fame players Magnus Svoboda and Tegan Nash played together at Dover City, with Svoboda spending his entire career here and Nash playing for six seasons of her long career. This stadium, together with Gernsback's The Great Dome and Charleston's Capital Stadium, rotates hosting for the annual Islands Cup.

Dover is a city of about a quarter-million people. It is headquarters to aviation manufacturer Blue Skies Aeronautics and about 90 minutes away from the Aerocorps station in the city of Wright. St. Peter's College and the Dover Institute of Technology are also located here.

Prior to the final, Whitecliff Stadium also hosts Group A and one second-round match. All three group stage appearances by the Bumblebees are here, and tickets have commanded premium prices for some time. Dolphin Stadium, home of the Babbage rules football club Dover Dolphins, will host one group stage match across town.

Charleston, South Island

Venerable Capital Stadium, overlooking Charleston Harbour, will host several matches including a semifinal. Capital Stadium is home to four professional football clubs playing three codes of football, and World Bowl VIII was played here.

Charleston is the capital and third-largest city of The Babbage Islands, with a population approaching 650,000. It is a major banking centre as well, hosting the home offices of both Greenspan Bank and Zion Financial.

Capital Stadium hosts Group D, one second-round match, and one semifinal. McLeod's Field, about 30 minutes from downtown in suburban East Charleston, hosts one group stage match.

Gernsback, Tesla

When approaching Gernsback from the sea, either on the surface or in the air, The Great Dome is the single building most likely to attract your attention on the Gernsback skyline. This golden landmark has hosted numerous major sporting events, including the TakilQuip Champions' Cup 23 final and the World Cup 49 third-place match.

Well-known as the headquarters of communications giant Chronowire, Gernsback also hosts the heavy machinery firm Iron Golem Enterprises. The University of Gernsback is the premier comprehensive university in the nation.

The Great Dome hosts Group B, one second-round match, and one quarterfinal. Stadiono de Verdurbo in suburban Verdurbo hosts one group stage match.

Belgium, Daimler

The venue in Belgium is Memorial Park, waterfront home to the five-time Premier League champions Belgium FC. Belgium is a small city of about 76,000 whose sporting fame is forever tied to Chip and Kirsten Woods, owners of Belgium FC and the Belgium Speedway. Chip, a native of Belgium, is a two-time NSSCRA world champion. Kirsten Hopkins, from Cassadaigua, was his fiercest rival and twice a top-five driver. They fell in love, married, and used their race winnings to rescue both the football team and race track. The rest, as they say, is history.

Belgium has a significant Dutch-speaking population. It is also home to the highly-regarded Engineering College of Daimler.

Memorial Park hosts Group C, one second-round match, and one quarterfinal. Badenstadion, about 90 minutes up the coast in the city of Baden, hosts one group stage match.
NS World Cup: Runner-up 55/59; Third place 50/52/58/62/63; Host 49/54/60.
Founding member, Global Cricket Federation; 2x Twenty20 world champions.
