A nation of a particular political ideology, any ideology, that has a strong economy and trade, but is unwilling to trade or work with any other ideology is useless to us. At firsdt glance, our membership here so far is rather diverse as to political ideologies, but we appear to share a common cause of promoting economic stability and prosperity. That is what is required, not political hacks who would rather spout their political diatribes or declare war at the drop of a hat.

It is not our goal to make this economic council some exclusive "gentlemans club", but an active and viable economic power which can influence and guide all nations to economic prosperity. The Internal Council and G20 as a whole should be the beacons, the guiding stars, for any nation wishing to become more involved in international trade to the benefit of all.

In other words, governments with a bit of economic common sense is who we seek.

There is no question that the free people of the IFA generally will support whatever programs our leaders initiate in these fields.

What we must realize is that this struggle probably will not be decided in the military, economic, or scientific areas, important as these are. The battle in which we are engaged is primarily one of ideas. The test is one not so much of arms but of faith.

If we are to win a contest of ideas we must know their ideas as well as our own. Our knowledge must not be superficial. We cannot be content with simply an intuition that communism is wrong. It is not enough to rest our case alone on the assertions, true as they are, that communism denies God, enslaves men, and destroys justice.

We must recognize that the appeal of the Communist idea is not to the masses, as the Communists would have us believe, but more often to an intelligent minority in newly developing countries who are trying to decide which system offers the best and surest road to progress.

We must cut through the exterior to the very heart of the Communist idea. We must come to understand the weaknesses of communism as a system - why after more than 60 years on trial it continues to disappoint so many aspirations, why it has failed in its promise of equality in abundance, why it has produced a whole library of disillusionment and a steady stream of men, women, and children seeking to escape its blight.

But we must also come to understand its strength - why it has so securely entrenched itself in the vast realm of nations before us, why it has been able to accomplish what it has in the field of education and science, why in some of the problem areas of the world it continues to appeal to leaders aspiring to a better life for their people?

If the free world is to win this struggle, we must have men and women who not only are against communism but who know why they are against it and who know what they are going to do about it. Communism is a false idea, and the answer to a false idea is truth, not ignorance.

What is the Global 20 NS?

The Global Twenty (G-20 NS) Finance Ministers (or equivalent) and Representative of national member group was established to bring together important industrialized, developed and major developing economies together to discuss key issues in NationStates global economy.

Mandate

The G-20 NS is the premier forum for our international economic development that promotes open and constructive discussion between advanced-developed and major emerging-market nations on key issues related to nationstates global economic in conjunction to diplomatic stability. Origin

The G-20 NS was created as a response to the emerging and growing international communities within NationStates. Both in terms of diplomatic and economic in-depth of NationStates.

The G-20 NS is the final solution to the growing question of how to identify whether a nation is an advanced and developed nation or an underdeveloped and overpopulated impoverished nation.

The G-20 NS only accepted the application of Innovative, Economically Developed, Influential - economically and politically, and Advanced Role-Playing nations, regardless of its ideology (capitalism, communism, socialism, fascism, etc.) and population (in terms of quantity).

System of Membership Rotation

Unlike most other international groups in NationStates, The G-20 NS will frequently inspect the eligibility of its current member, by way of vote within its Internal Council.

Meetings and activities

Aleera Amyntesia Clodinia Farlight Alcedina-Aquilaine is one of the most prominent princesses of the Imperial House of Alcedina. Senior members of the house of Cassius-Cervidae however objected to the idea of allowing Aleera to marry the brother of her dead husband despite the fact that it is generally believed that the marriage was never consumated, which could have caused trouble with Melcenean law. Instead Aleera's cousin Alesia was married to the new Imperator. Despite retaining her title as Imperatrice, a title she holds to this day, Aleera decided to return to her homeland following her husbands dead. She arrived at Romenea on the 4th of April 1493 ABY. Just two days later the Imperial Regency Council declared the Republic of Grand Atia for obsolete leading to the War of Independence. Aleera in the chaos of the war sought out the Junior Minister of Equality Seline Machiavelli chosing to help her house by maintaining contact to the leaders of Grand Atia. During the rest of the war Aleera stayed close to Machiavelli as she was made first Prime Minister and then Supreme High Chancellor. Following the attack the grand empress of Aquilinia, Felicia Farlight-Aquilaine, chose to adopt Aleera as her sister. The grand empress feared that in the event of her death her young daughter would not be able to rule the country and therefore the grand empress requested that Aleera would take the position of Princess Regent should the need arise. The adoption has gained notority and fame in the former La Serenissima due to it marking the first time that ties has been made between the Imperial House of Alcedina and a non human ruler. While quendi nationalists has called the adoption a perversity as it gives a neko claim to the lordship of the Alcedina the idea was warmly welcomed by the elders. Princess Aleera currently live with her adopted sister in Aquilinia.

OOC: I'm very acquainted with the GE&T Forum. I've created a very detailed storefront, Energizia Incorporated. Even though its not officially open, I plan on expanding and opening it soon. It's been listed as one of the best energy and resource storefronts in the Unofficial Guide to Creating a Storefront. I currently also update the List of Storefronts here in the GE&T Forum. I'm currently the President of SNOM (A medium-sized alliance with its own region), and have established myself as a detailed roleplayer (such as in this application!) in many state visits, diplomatic events, posting in storefronts, and in signing up for literally dozens (almost a hundred I think) of embassies.

Up to now, the standard has been good.

All of us are major economic and great powers in NationStates.

So far, we have nations which, literally speaking, hold monopolies all over NationStates Global Economy and Trade Market.

Whether its the largest military provider in NationStates, or the largest automotive manufacturer in NationStates.

Starting with this post (or perhaps even earlier) you have made a habit of personal attacks and snipes directed at other players (mostly Akimonad), plus implicit threats -- "using mods as weapons", as mentioned above.

I see these combined offenses, plus your record (two prior warnings), as meriting a *** warning for flamebait/mods as weapons *** with the added remark that forumbans will be applied for subsequent offenses.

Switching from Mod Hat to RPer Hat: a G20 or similar organisation only holds weight so long as it merits the respect of the community. If your group of the "strongest economies" includes nations widely regarded as only mediocre powers, it will receive very little of that, and become largely irrelevant -- NS is community-based, not numbers-based. That said, this is advice, not a ruling; you can obviously run this organisation however you like and remain within the rules.

OOC: He's posting ICC'ly, so there's really nothing wrong with it. Anyone can agree or disagree with the G20 and there are bound to be people to be on both sides. I wouldn't be to hasty in saying that "we" collectively, have decided to ignore anyone. I myself just got back home and read most of the posts on this thread. I've decided to not ignore anyone (IC or OCC), but of course, I can't speak for the rest of the members. That's just my point of view.

But countries around were becomming more and more democratic and the Grand Duke of that time decided to surrender his power to the people. Our first elections were held and the first session of Congress changed our constitution.

Eversince our countries had many administrations under many President's, whom was the elected Head of Government by the people and for the people, while the Grand Duke of Duchess became our country's ceremonial Head of State. From the 1900's our country started to play a more important role in the International Community. With the first steamships in service, the Royal Noordeindian Mail and Trade Organisation started to operate globaly.
