Holding his head high, he was proud of this Empire that he helped to bring into glory over the past 35 years. From his holding the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs under the Former Supreme Emperor, to being elected Supreme Emperor until the time when in this very chamber Bill 16-2708 was passed that made him the Supreme Emperor for Life and established the Imperial Bloodline as it is.
The only sad thing is that his eldest son was not here to see his anouncement today, but that was the life of a Diplomat. The talks that his son was comming back from were important to the safety of the Empire and while it was sad that he had to attend them, it was nessicary for the future of the Empire.

"We have come to the conclusion that the act of murdering more than 15,000 innocent civilians who's only 'crime' is that they were protesting against what the Joint Chiefs of Staff, myself and various members of the Imperial Parliament are calling 'unfair taxation'," the crowd of people began to speak rather loudly with the information that has been pointed out to them. "Calm down, please," Larry pleaded with them. "This is neither the time nor the place for debate about this situation. This situation MUST be remidied if the world is to continue to prosper and the scourge that is the government body of Zonolia must be purged from history."

"I have initiated the deployment of the Shazbotdom Marine Corps." Colonal Johnson and his team were mounting up. Grabbing their munitions, supplies and armor, they exited the barraks and began walking toward the transport buses that awaited them. "These teams of men and women who live amoungst us will put their lives on the lines to ensure that freedom and tyrrany will not continue." As Johnson and his team get to the bus, more teams are seen comming out of the barracks' on base.

"It is, though, my deepest regret that my son is not with these men and women fighting for the rights of the citizentry of Zonolia as he is currently returning on a 3 day flight from an important meeting, but I do know that my son, Major Thomas Williams, would love to be the first one on the ground with his weapons firing at enemy troops and laying siege to the capital building of the Zonolian Government to arrest it's leadership for the mass murders that occured within their country. The sanctity of life shall be avenged and the Shazbotdom Marine Corps shall be the sword and shield!"

The scene erupted in the room as Larry raised his hands, the crowd cheering loudly and wildly. He then lowered his arms and turned to his family, who stood up and hugged him. They all then turned and exited the room together with the cheers of the populace and Parliament behind them.

The Government of the Matthews Islands is right on all accounts, there is a more diplomatic solution which calls for the Zonolians to hand over those responsible and conduct a trial with all the nations involved, then broker a peace treaty.

It was his 19th Tour as Admiral of the 11th Battlegroup. According to Grand Admiral Rockenbach, Admiral Yackber was the man to go to when you wanted something done right. "Where are we right now?" he asked as he walked onto the bridge of the Supre Drednaught, his first officer, Captain Anderson was over near the Con watching the insturments but turned to face his superior.

"Sir, we are approximately 23 hours from optimal firing range of the main guns. Satelite targeting systems are fully operational and targeting what looks like entrenchments of enemy forces," Anderson replied. "From what I can tell, there are over One Million men in formations for general protection of Zonolia."

"This might not be that big of a cakewalk," Yackber replied. Rubbing his chin, he walked over and stared out of the main window. "How long till we can start launching our bomber aircraft?"

"We can start doing that in a little less than 13 hours," Anderson stated. "If we launch just then, they'll be doing nighttime bombing runs on enemy positions. I suggest 2 bombing groups for the initial attack and land here," he points on the digial map screen in front of him, "and here. Opening up those two positions will allow us to land a small 6 man Black Ops team and cause some trouble for their forces before landing the first contingent of 20,000 men."

"By the looks of this screen, their air defence cover is lacking," Yackber noticed. "What if we fly in behind them with a few Pelicans and drop some Black Ops men from behind?"

"I was thinking of that, sir," Anderson replied, "But we do not know along what part of these coastal area's any enemy encampments are. We wouldn't want to land 8 fire teams from Pelicans into an encampment of several thousand enemy soldiers."

"True," Yackber replied. He walked over to the window and stared out over the fleet. "Sound the alarms, I want drills to begin for every shift."

The Empress secretly provided support to this rebellion, and in public, withdrew finanical assistance from the Matthew Islands. The rebellion, with Redosian assistance, began to spread across Zonolia, amongst those citizens who hated the Zonolian dictatorship.

President Kemp received the message that Shatzbotdom was preparing to assault Zonolia. The opinion of the new President was mixed, he knew that President Burrill had prepared for military action for the murder of 15,000 civilians by Zonolia, but with the murder of President Burrill by government officials, and the discovery of the conspiracy by some of his staff, the next step was hard to determine.

President Kemp, like the former President was truly disgusted by the current Zonolian government, however both had been opposed to all out war if it could have been avoided. Although, the traitor President Simpson had ordered bombing runs on Zonolia, Marcuda was not deep into any action where they couldn't pull out. Looking confident the President wrote the following message to the Emperor of Shatzbotdom:

I do not condemn your actions against Zonolia, however, with the current political climate in my country and the trauma to the nation in regards to the loss of President Burrill, I have my reservations regarding our continual involvement with open hostilities with Zonolia.

With that said, I have asked our intelligence agencies to work with you and give you access to our spy satelites in the region. In addition, we currently have a few teams of special forces imbedded in Zonolia still. I have instructed our people to give you command over those units still inside Zonolia. We ask that they only wear unidentified clothing and never mention that they are Marcudian special forces.

We will also be providing you the reports we've devoloped on Zonolia and the weak point we had discovered in our bombing campaigns in the past. It was estimated that casued about 35% damage to the major infrastructure of the country.

They burned Zonolian farms, raped and beat hundreds of Zonolian women and young children, and caused major disruptions for some Zonolian towns. They were provided finanical and military assistance by the Redosian Empire.
