Second of all, don't try and act like teenagers having sex is an invention of modern society. Human history is riddled with tales of teenagers having sex, often with people far older than them, and sometimes under social pressure to do so. So take your ignorant reactionary nonsense elsewhere. i love how quickly reports against me are addressed, but reports I make are ignored or take forever, or deemed "unactionable" but I would get warned/banned for the same thing

Umm, wasn't DLN reporting the thing she quoted? I would understand the warning if she hadn't reported anything, but I would think including a report would mean she was not spamming moderation. Could you clarify if that is the case, or if any opinion would make it spamming moderation.

Umm, wasn't DLN reporting the thing she quoted? I would understand the warning if she hadn't reported anything, but I would think including a report would mean she was not spamming moderation. Could you clarify if that is the case, or if any opinion would make it spamming moderation.

I believe the reason was that she wasn't reporting anything new- the post she quoted in part was already quoted in full by the OP, thus making her post little more than an opinion post rather than adding anything new. It's currently being appealed right now though.

I came to report /that/ part of the quote, and merely noted that the part I was focused on appeared to be more actionable in nature. Seeing someone had beaten me to it, I didn't think there was any harm in posting the bit I'd come to report - with the emphasis on the part I'd been focused on.

But apparently, reporting something in a thread you're active in, if the mods deem you are 'acting on authority you don't have', is actionable these days. We'll toss aside the fact that I have gone out of my way to let folks know I'm no longer a moderator, and my posts carry no more weight than any other player.

The appeal, btw, was denied. I'll let the rest of you folks read whatever you like into it. My opinion on the matter has been made quite clear. (It's bullshit, and bias, and had it been someone else, it wouldn't have been acted on with the harshness it was.)

EDIT:

DLN is free to appeal any rulings regarding her punishment, just like any other user.

If you think the mod team is behaving in a way that requires intervention from on high, please file a GHR detailing the alleged abuse. Since Discussion threads are not meant for the discussion of particular punishments... iLock.

Yes, I am free to appeal. But I am not, it appears, free to discuss it with any of you, nor get a fair hearing on it if I do appeal. Especially when all one receives are canned responses and boilerplate messages via VOM.
