Personality: His outward personality is constantly shifting to match his current situation, a common trait among infiltrators and espionage agents. He tends to tone it down among his friends, if he ever makes any. He's very manipulative and observant, willing and able to twist people into wanting to give him what he wants.

Skills/Hobbies: Excellent marksman, and prefers to use handguns and sub-machine guns to larger weapons. Spends his spare time writing and sketching, though he is much better at the former. Very good at moving quietly and remaining unseen when wishes to. Also, he is the only person that is able to use the 'void pack' as he calls it (explained further in the equipment).

Weaknesses: His manipulative personality, while useful in the field, keeps him from cultivating meaningful relationships with others and grates with his team-mates. The void takes a lot out of him mentally, physically, and emotionally, leaving him tired and a little out of it if he relies on the tech too much.

Equipment: Two M1911 pistols, Heckler & Koch UMP, Two long combat knives.

The Void Pack : A piece of technology that allows for transport between our current universe and another. The other is hellish and the laws of physics are much different, and even though Ben doesn't remain long, it still takes it's toll on him. When he begins his jump, he sets a mental coordinate using a neural up-link to the pack. Upon exit from the void, he is usually at that location, with some margin for error. The pack can't jump very far, but the range is increasing as Ben keeps calibrating the device to further tune it's precision. The only restriction for range is the fact that the further you are, the exit radius chance increases, leaving the possibility of re-materializing inside a wall or under the ground.

Biography: Benjamin Braton joined S.H.I.E.L.D when he was 17, originally signing up for their research division. His application was accepted, but found worthy to be part of a special experiment. He agreed, as the hazard pay was generous and would likely get him through college. This experiment would change his life forever.

It was simple at first, just some military training to get in physical shape, and constant classes to get in mental shape. This went on for six months, during which the twenty candidates remained in the dark about what they were there to do. Then, one by one, the trainees began to vanish. No-one knew what was going on, but the researchers and project leads were becoming increasingly edgy. One morning, Ben woke up to a room that wasn't his, strapped to a device that definitely wasn't his bed. The scientists activated the machine, sending Ben on his first trip into the void.

He was in a barren hellscape, a mad, bloodcurdling scream tore through his mind and shadows danced in fire before his eyes. Nothing and everything existed in the same moment and at the same place. Just as soon as it had begun, it ended. Ben was back in the lab, pale-faced and breathing rapidly.

The scientists later explained that he was their first successful test, and their last. All the other candidates had gone mad upon returning, some killing the scientists, thus the restraints were necessary. Ben was their only success, and SHIELD had demanded that he was to be turned over for advanced training and re-assignment. Now he was here, several years later, beginning his life at the Avengers Academy.

Yes, the door opens for all who slide their ID badge through it. Everyone has one regardless of if you put it in your app or not by the way.

No the letter would not have, I think maybe once people start talking Lucy would find something is up. but also refer to last post for your own "Wait a minute..." moment!
