IC, it's the language of my nation. (E.g, Maltese is Talvezian, Basque is Talfossian, Finnish is Dalpeche, and Spanish is considered a sort of poetic language.)

OOC, it's because I recently switched where my nation was (used to be located in North Africa, now it's a bunch of islands in the Pacific.) I used Maltese mainly because it was the most foreign sounding one I could find.

Bad Nazis, you've just put me in a massive ABBA mood. On behalf of myself, thank you. On behalf of everyone who has to listen to me sing, God damn you.

Thank you! It's always nice to help people. :p

I consider getting people in ABBA mood very helpful, just generally.

Nation retconned: The Reich is now Nazis only aesthetically, not politically (although they still call themselves Nazis, but it doesn't mean anything. Hitler died in 1938, Himmler, Goebbels, Göring and the other criminals lost their power in the following power struggle and the Reich became a "regular" corrupt dictatorship). It's based/stuck in the 1950s - 60s, but thanks to Die Glocke we can interact with all worlds. WWII still happened, but ended in a tie. Some Wunderwaffe exist (such as UFO:s and Die Glocke), as well as revived dinosaurs.

This is only a parody nation. I do not endorse National Socialism in any way, nor the people associated with that ideology.

NEW FALKLAND ISLANDS TO BROADCAST WSC XLVII

The Premier of The New Falkland Islands, in a surprise press conference earlier today, expressed great interest in the Worldvision Song Contest. While he will not be able to participate until WSC XLIX, The Premier did order the nation's television committee, the Falklandian Ministry for Public Broadcasting, or FMPB, to broadcast this edition of the contest, and to appoint two hosts. These were internally selected as the Islands' top model, Serena Hilton, and the FMPB's main news anchor, Thomas Stonewater. An informal poll of the populace will also be collected live during the broadcasting session. The Premier, along with the FMPB, hope this is the first step in a great partnership with the Worldvision Committee.

Well, since i'm hearing stuff about WV48, i'm going to give my idea for WV48

DTV Presents...

QUALIFYING FOR WORLDVISION

What is It?
It is based on the 1993 Eurovision preselection "Kvalifikacija za Millstreet" but to see which one of these 5 nations will acompany me in WorldVision 48. I thought of this because from WV38-41 i always used to bring a puppet. But i stopped doing that since i started focusing more on Dreamplanet.

What nations are competing?

By the way my play count results came as a surprise for me. I did anticipate Croatia and Germany placing well, but for the initial favourites Azerbaijan and Belgium to place 7th and 8th respectively... I didn't see that coming. It's almost like an actual televote result from my listening patterns.

Other surprises (or at least things I didn't anticipate) include Austria and Cyprus flopping, Finland and Spain not making it to the Top 10 (maybe they cancelled each other out), and Israel being a few places lower than expected.

Have you seen the massive treadmill for Austria or the amazing pyrotechnics of Armenia?

Strong predictions;

Either way, I don't think Germany will place higher - I do think the United Kingdom will do quite well with the juries, though. Sweden is just Sweden. Spain will get between 7th and 14th while France takes the victory! Italy - They'd probably be alongside Spain. Cyprus will flop, I believe that. Either Finland or Belgium will qualify, I doubt both of them (even if they're on separate nights). Ireland will qualify, probably. Russia will qualify but they won't get 1st in neither juries or televote.

I was comparing my current rankings to my previous, 'initial' rankings.
I also haven't seen Armenia, but even though I want Austria to qualify I'm lowering my expectations for them.
I'm not sure who's gonna win. Currently I'm anticipating Russia, France, and Australia for the title, but that's due to change as we see the rehearsals. Who knows, maybe Bulgaria can get it?
