The Mage of Light is someone who uses their knowledge of fortune to benefit themselves, as well as having light-based magical abilities. If you have questions about God Tiers, or which one would best suit your character, or anything, feel free to ask.

Also, your Chumhandle doesn't have to reflect your classpect (God Tier), think of it as a username that reflects your character's personality. Pesterchum is a chat client, like texting pretty much.

As for the two classes, here's a brief explanation:

A seer is someone who uses knowledge of their aspect to the benefit of others, to guide them along a certain path. A seer of hope would be able to see the most optimal path, and try to guide everyone to the happiest outcome. A seer of doom, however, would be able to see the deaths of others, and try to avoid them, or lead them to it. Either way, these powers don't come into play until later in the actual game.

Your Seer of Doom is spot-on, but your description for Seer of Hope is much closer to the Seer of Light, considering that's how Rose describes it in-comic. A Seer of Hope would more be able to see the motivations and ideals of the other players and enemies, making them a master strategist, if a crappy fighter.
