I might be more free today... Good Friday's just around the corner, and if my leave gets approved to rush my projects I might invest some time in NS.

Heck. I'm have an NS wide writers block, motivation went down with the Bronco, so to say.

Ill have a post up at lunch then. Sorry Real life yard work on to be done after i destroyed trying to get stuff out of house. The area was flooding plus had 12 frigging house fires today. A town of 10000 people should not have that many house fires in one day. Damn math addicts

Haruna gets into the bar, finds Pearsohn surrounded by shot glasses and goes to grill him only to see him order another one of what he has and finds he's been downing fruit juice like there's no tomorrow?

Haruna sees Pearsohn drinking in the bar, grabs the glass he's holding and downs it herself.

And then is supremely disappointed. XD

I'm basically listing things that Jones is doing between the debrief and the zoo trip. He can be intercepted and talked with during any of those (save for the shower) if anyone wants.

I could write over 1300 words in a single post.

I struggle to create a 1200 word feature story of three people. <-- That's $800 and 50% of my module weightage...

Roster has been updated and the pilots rearranged. Flight One/Three are composed of fighters x2 and attackers x2 each. Flight Two is fighters x4. And Flight Four is multiroles x5. This seems the best way to organize the squadron as of this time. If names are not decided then I'll add them myself (though they can always be changed if need be).

I think Ghost flight is unanimously agreed upon. Unless you want to give it a foreign twist like with the other flights.
I shall also post for the zoo trip in a moment.

I'm thinking now that we shouldn't follow the same naming convention as the FRD if only to differentiate ourselves a bit. So Ghost can work for Flight Four, and while I'd like to keep a theme going for the entire squadron I'm open to pretty much anything at this point. And, in any case, the 101st doesn't follow conventions for their flight names, so I'm thinking only squadron names have the special names and not necessarily the flights.

Though if we stuck with a theme other flights could be named Ghoul, Fetch, Demon, Imp, Goblin, Gremlin, etc. Otherwise we can name the flights whatever you think appropriate.

I'm thinking along the lines of Thundercrack or something. If we go with a monsters kind of theme though I would suggest Oni or Bakemono.

I don't mind the latter but they start to bleed into SAF naming conventions. And I can't help but to snicker when I read Thundercrack.

We could also stick with a ghost theme, such as Spirit, Banshee, and Wraith. Or have a flight named Phantom but not actually have any Phantoms in the flight.

Why not Roc Flight?

EDIT: Also, The Arrow is going into mothballs while Praeses gets a new bird. I'm getting him a Dassault Mirage III, it's fast and small, and while not as fast or small as his last bird it is cheap (and also has his beloved Delta Wing config).

Pearsohn's not going to go to the zoo today, but I think it's funny if he just stays in there and just keeps drinking juice and eating appetizers. Eventually the bartender's just going to keep bringing it out because the tab is likely to be over three hundred Osean by the end of the day.

EDIT: Satoru is a family name right? I'm curious Rel, would it be possible to have the Satoru of Keppentan to somehow be related to the Seianese Bodyguard of Anton?

Name: Антон (Anton - No Last Name Given)
Nationality: Yuktobanian (Possibly, no confirmation from any sources, just his accent and appearances)
Age: 49
Gender: Macho-Male, the most Yuktobanian-gangsterific man you'll ever know.

Nickname: Golodnyy Volk (The Hungry Wolf - not his most beloved nickname, but one that has spread through propaganda and stories left by ones who've dealt with him)

Appearance: Anton in one of his typical Slate Suits
Height: 181cm
Weight: 132 kilos

Funds BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You wish you knew.

Personality: ESTP
Strengths: Having been around for a long time, Anton is a well-founded individual with a wealth of not only knowledge but also currency behind him. His strong and indomitable will is often what got his crew through the rougher spats in it's earlier years. He's well-connected and often well-informed on not only what others are doing, but also on what he is doing in the way of business maneuvers, often outdoing his own competition before they've even realized they were being outmaneuvered. His willingness to go all-in on a dime and stick it out has gotten him into trouble before, but more often than not he comes out on top as the sole survivor and champion. Moreso, he was and still is a capable pilot, but has only ever flown Yuktobanian Bloc helicopters.
Weaknesses: Old and still aging, he is hardly the man whom Praeses (AKA Silvertongue) knew ten years ago. The luxuries of a life spent in retirement for the most part from years of hard work and gambling with it have taken their toll. Just as his own body has begun to fall apart, so too has his mind and wit, no longer being constantly sharpened by the panic and stress of running an underground smuggling operation from the front lines. It is only thanks to the constant presence of his age-old and faithful companion, the bodyguard Satoru Takeshi. Even moreso alarming is his slowly draining reserves from years without consistent or stable work and pleasing his own fleshly desires, not that he's in any immediate danger of going to the poorhouse though.
Likes:Women, Liquor, and Guns. His own personal hobbies are what drove him into the arms dealing and smuggling business all those years ago.
Dislikes: Law Enforcement, Laws, basically anything that forbids him from being successful or enjoying his own success.

Bio: Born to likely Yuktobanian parents somewhere in Yuktobania, not much is known about Anton's origins save for that he met Satoru when he was twenty-three and for some reason since the two have been inseparable. By the time he was twenty-eight, he had his own basic gun-running business, but local law enforcement began to renew it's vows against him and he had to flee the country. It is believed that Anton still has at least fifteen outstanding warrants for arrest and nine bounties on his head. No end of assassins and hunters have attempted to catch him or kill him, but none have been successful. When he was thirty-eight, his career truly took off as he took part in a conflict which resulted in most -if not all- of his direct competition being immediately eliminated by a massive attack on the fortress island of Puerto San Martillo. The resulting aftermath lead him on a personal career run of nearly five years during which he accrued a massive fortune in smuggled goods and guns. He now resides in Ansan, Seian, the likely place where he met Satoru and also the one place where the two can't be touched by the authorities of the various nations they upset all those years ago.

23:08:52; March 14, 1981
Puerto San Martillo, 500km from the shores of San Martin

Gunsmoke filled the air as the firestorm broke out about the arms dealers at the private conference. There had been warnings that a potential international coalition raid on the site would occur, but the speed and the strength of the attack had been unprecedented and suddenly bullets were filling the air as international authorities from the San Martin-led anti-gun-running coalition stormed the series of compounds in question. All across the night, the red glow of various fires, already breaking out seemed to fill the air with a pungent smell of burning cordite. The cracking and popping of bullets snapping past the head of one very panicked Yuktobanian arms dealer and smuggler had him sweating the bullets that seemed to be missing him. Suddenly a man in a black tactical suit was standing before him, gun leveled with the young man's head and as his life flashed before his eyes, a shadow hurtled out of the dark behind the officer and a glint of metal gave away the knife now sliding into the open space on the side of the bullet-proof vest and into the lungs. A few moments later the man was on the ground, twitching as blood leaked into his punctured lung and an outstretched hand filled the young man's view.

"Get your ass up! We're getting the hell out of here! Martinez, Jackson, Johannes! Get you're asses on me and help clear the road, get our VIP back to the Hawk! I got business to attend to here first!" The sounds of the gunfire still ringing out dangerously close didn't seem to affect the man in the loose aviator's flight suit as he pulled Anton to his feet and slapped him square in the small of his back to encourage his swift and cooperative movement. Within moments, two more armed men were at Anton's side and the young Yuktobanian was being ushered into an alleyway. The sounds of several explosions behind them startled the young man, but being pushed to the ground in an instant as the small alleyway quickly filled with heat and pressure, the feeling of a gentle push on his back and his eardrums popping gave rise to the adrenaline rush already flowing through the arms dealer's veins. There wasn't much more that he could do than just survive, he had as it were, no gun training and thus had no idea what to do in spite of the gun now being forced into his hand as the three men burst into an open courtyard. Casting a wanton look over his shoulder at the direction he'd just come from, he almost felt tempted to go back and look for the man whom had saved his life.

"Over there!" More voices calling out this time in the local dialect which Anton had only learned a pitiful portion of on his way over made him realize with a start that the man from before had spoken fluent Yuktobanian and that meant he likely knew who Anton was. Who was he though, the man that had killed another to save Anton? His question was left hanging emptily in the air as he was forced into the cobblestones below and gunfire again filled the air as the military-grade submachine guns opened fire from the men about Anton. Feeling his collar suddenly seize up behind him and the ground move beneath him, he looked up to see that one of the men whom had been escorting him was present, gun barrel flashing brightly in the night as the smoke from the constantly burning cordite drifted in lazy spirals from the barrel.

"Get to the plane! Don't stop! Get the fucker to the plane dammit!" this time, Yuktobanian voices as the sounds of several more massive explosions seemed to rock the ground beneath him and as gusts of wind and debris kicked up around him, sending him and the man holding onto him tumbling to the ground as another round of gunfire opened up from behind them. Rolling, Anton lifted his gun and pulled the trigger, the recoil sending the shot wide, but he didn't know that much at the time as the walls suddenly seemed to fly out around the men firing in his direction and an explosion engulfed the coalition agents. Their screams were quickly muffled if not drowned out by the intense crack and ringing that promptly followed the explosion as more and more of the way Anton had come from filled with fire and smoke. The explosions seemed to be trailing them.

"which way?! Which way do we go?!," turning back to look at the two men escorting him, they had come to a T-intersection and now the path seemed to lead in opposite directions, one downwards and into the main city where even more fires and gunshots could be seen, being exchanged between the houses as the island-assault opened up in a seemingly full-scale engagement. The scream of jet engines overhead seemed to deafen the decision made as one of the men turned to help Anton to his feet, suddenly his head wasn't there. The man's head, not Anton's, as a bloody red mist engulfed his face and choked his throat. A panicked look from the other man sent wild gunfire up in the direction of the sniper, this time a man in plainclothes, not a law-enforcement agent. It was a rival gun-dealer and if there was any a good time to kill a potential rival, this was the place. Another bullet snapped past Anton's head, though it didn't matter much as he couldn't hear it, but rather saw the white-hot tracer fly past. Fragments of cinderblock and cement kicked up behind him and pelted the back of his shaved head as he ducked and dove for cover.

Curling into a ball, he could make out the general sound of more gunfire being exchanged, looking over his shoulder to see the man whom had survived also get shot, though this time through the thigh as the sniper had to pull his shot clutch. The man fell quickly, his gun falling from his reach and clattering just out of his grasp. Reaching for his sidearm, another round embedded itself into the ground beside him spurring the fallen escort to raise his hands in surrender. A tense moment came as Anton simply stared at the man from his cover, the sniper still out of his line of sight as the man seemed to cry helplessly and plead for mercy and his life at what appeared to be gunpoint. Confirmation of this came as the sniper stepped into view, back to Anton as he faced the downed mercenary and leveled his gun. A flash as Anton's own sidearm fired sent the sniper down to his knees and whirling around. It had missed but the sound had definitely disoriented the man as he raised the AK to his shoulder and trained it on Anton, another flash as he fired again and the man's head seemed to suddenly rock backwards from its firing position and blood sprayed out from the neatly placed hole in the center of the skull.

Did I? The question was cut short as the feeling of someone tapping Anton on his shoulder spurned him on to look up and into the face of the man whom had saved him from death only minutes before. A smile on his thinly bearded face, he hauled Anton up by his scruff and deposited him on his feet. Calling out to the other man, his words drowned out by the intense ringing in Anton's ears, he seemed to grow a concerned look on his face as he heard the wounded compatriot reply. Obviously it had been annoying that the other man had died, not a part of the plan, but hadn't three names been called? A look to his left and shouldering the MP5 in his hands, he promptly dropped it as he seemed to recognize something. Turning towards Anton, the man motioned towards the fallen comrade in a way that seemed to insist he pick up the man and carry him. A feeling of indignant refusal came over Anton which was promptly quashed by the stern look on the other's face.

It didn't take long for the trio to make their way down the road, opposite from where the sniper had come from and into a large marina where a series of boats had been tied up. Most directly noticeable though was a large seaplane it appeared, a strange contraption indeed which Anton seemed to remember as being somewhere in his inventory of aircraft he owned. A heavily modified Be-12 with extensive cargo-suited retrofits, it was a choice arms-smuggling craft for it's gratuitous cargo-bay size and many hidden panels, but what had brought it here specifically failed to register with him. No time was to be wasted though as in the span of two minutes he was inside and strapped to a seat in the cockpit alongside the wounded man, his saviour seeming to also know something about basic first aid and triage as he quickly set to work stabilizing the man.

"Who are you?"

The words sounded out hollowly within Anton's head as he said them, his hearing still shot to all hell as the man briefly looked up at him and then looked beyond him out the window past him.

"No time, brace yourself, this is going to get fun real fast!"

Flying from his place next to the wounded member of the crew, he quickly began flipping switches and setting various throttles into place as the vibrations of the engines coming alive seemed to reverberate through the airframe. A few fist-pounds into the roof for good luck later and the plane seemed to be vibrating just right for what it needed to be, ready to run. Looking around the outside though, the man whom was busy setting all of the craft into motion seemed to be missing something as he kept cursing at what must have been a loud volume for even with Anton's diminished hearing he could make out the Osean curses. Interesting.

Then a gust of wind as the door to the side of the bay flew open and a man stumbled in, covered in soot and ash and wielding in his hands a large box which he promptly let fall to the ground as he pushed past Anton and into the co-pilot's seat. It didn't take long for the plane to get into motion after that and soon enough the plane was airborne and flying far from the smoking island and the fight which would become known as the Siege of Puerto San Martillo.

Satoru Takeshi's app is also in the works. Just got sidetracked in google Image Search because 'Japanese Butler' doesn't evoke the image I wanted of him.

Name: Satoru Takeshi
Nationality: Seianese
Age: 39
Gender: Male

Nickname: The Fist of Anton, Anton's Fist, Kamakage, Blood Fist, Youkai

Appearance: Satoru Takeshi with his hair and beard rather unkempt, usually he keeps it trimmed short to both ends.
Height: 162.3cm
Weight: 56 kilos

Personality: INTP
Strengths: A master at various Martial Arts forms, a capable pilot, and a competent marksman all paired to a brilliantly sharp mind have made Satoru Takeshi one of the most feared men under Anton's command. To that extent, it is even debated whether he works for or with Anton, having been with the man for nearly three decades. His loyalty and sharp wit are on par with many of his younger competitors but his ruthless appetite for violence is only quenched by Anton's own orders to retain himself. He's still lightning fast in his old age and as such he should never be considered a non-entity in any transaction dealing with Anton as wherever he is, Satoru is never far behind.
Weaknesses: Again, his old age is beginning to get the better of him, and with nothing much known about his homelife, many have taken him to simply be Anton's pet leading to a lack of friends and possibly a lack of family. The extreme secretivity to which he conducts his personal affairs could be seen as a blessing, but it leads to many of Anton's younger employees distrusting the old man and often attempts to sabotage his work oft force Satoru to play reserved when he'd much rather be full-lethal. While indeed he's a competent if not deadly fighter, his own frailty and small size make him highly susceptible to any wounds and having taken gunshot wounds before, he knows full well his limitations in spite of his own innate desire to constantly fight.
Likes: Fighting, the sound of bone crunching, the feel of a blade breaking another person's flesh, the color of fresh blood (Oh, and women, wine, and cigars).
Dislikes: Not much to dislike in this world, is there? Perhaps getting injured as that could separate him from Anton, so perhaps he just dislikes being separated from Anton, gods only know why...

Bio: Much is unknown about the Fist of Anton save for that he's a legend in the underworld and a pretty terrifying one at that. Many of his fellow countrymen familiar with his exploits refer to him as a Youkai, or some sort of supernatural being with phantom-like qualities. He's been known to carry out high-profile assassinations at the behest of Anton to eliminate potential competition, but in doing so has made quite often a mess of each assassination, not for lack of stealth, but through his desire to kill. Anton keeps him usually only in retainer given this tendency to want to continue killing once unleashed in spite of Satoru's surprisingly docile and seemingly well-mannered appearances. He was picked up by Anton at roughly the age of fifteen while likely in the streets of Ansan and since then has been by Anton's side the entire time, fighting for the man as though his own life didn't matter, though none know why that is.
