"No, please, Emperor Kappel is an ally, believe me." Carl rushed to defend the Emperor "He just has an "orthodox" way of approaching situations." Carl smiled and grabbed Alfred's shoulder, taking him aside. "Look, remember that one time when you, Colonel Douglas and I were stuck in that brothel, we thought was a Fiend's Headquarters?" (OOC: with permission) Alfred nodded and laughed a little "Can you act like the Colonel asked you to that time?" Carl looked into his eyes, quickly wrote a note; gave it to the Emperor and then went to sit down. The Emperor was explosive but if you were on his side, you had nothing to fear.

[Sperland]

How strange it was that the Ottoans thought of the Left-Wing as a Cancer. On one half of the world there were people dying of Obesity, on the other half people were dying of Starvation. This was the result of Capitalism.

John looked angrily into the Ottoans face and asked "Am I supposed to say sorry for killing your soldiers aswell? I'm sorry, but I am going to have to teach you a lesson" He turned to Joseph Corloest who was there all the time without anyone noticing and said "Give out the order"

Carl smiled, clicked his fingers, and the 4 Guardsmen that were accompanying him ran into the room and raised their rifles at the Sperlish. Carl, ripped the revolver out of his holster and pointed at the man. "How about you tell what your saying, Darling?" He kept the pistol levelled on his face. At this distance, any move made towards Carl would result in death for the Sperlish man. The Guardsmen, standing at the door would also finish him off if the impossible variable of Carl missing occured "Mr Kappel? Forget what I said." He smiled. "I will not hesitate to fire if you stop whatever your doing and return to the conversation."

Stephan, the quiet assistant, made sure to relay the events, which had been recorded and broadcast to the King, live. Furthermore, the room was watched by the Secret Services and any call or text were heard and seen. (OOC: this may appear to be god mod but all Alliance members are cautious when at diplomatic meetings).Back at home, the Secret Services maintained their vigilant watch on the wide web of the internet.

15 Dannirian policemen and national guards quickly stormed into the building and pointed their guns at the guardsmen and the guy saying:

"Not until he's told what he's up to." Carl replies, sternly "I'm not sure what he is doing but I don't trust him." Carl knew he was up to something.

"You think they'd be pointing their guns at the enemy" the lead Guardsmen asked.

More law enforcement agents arrived and surrounded the area.
" you are outnumbered, eventually you will get tired but we can call more men. put your weapon down!"

"I will put my weapon down, when he tells me what is going on here, deal?" Carl asked, sincerely. "I don't let an enemy state he will "teach me a lesson" and not want to know what the fuck is going on!"

OOC: I'm not sure how you were able to mobilize so many men and get them here in such a short span of time when this was a surprise attack, not a normal one.

Docks of the village, Sperland

The Bard and Beaver was one of the proudest ships in the entire New Vefasian fleet. With a massive armament of a variety of cannons and guns, and armor thick enough to take dozens of hits before cracking, it was a pure monster in terms of offensive and defensive power. As such, the vessel, and her 15 inch guns, had been selected to bombard the Sperlish fighter jets. And other forces, naturally.

Admiral Marcus of the Super Mutant Marine Corps smiled in grim satisfaction as the eight 381-mm guns slowly turned broadside. Let the Sperlish bastards withstand this shit.

Generally, it was difficult to aim the Mk. 1 turrets outside visible range, but since the target was so large, accuracy was not an issue. Fire Control would be firing explosive shells rather than the conventional armour piercing ones to pack an extra punch.

“Con, Fire Control, ready to fire.” the report came. The Admiral smirked. “Let’s give ‘em hell, boys,” he said. “Fire!” He ordered.

A twenty foot fireball erupted from one of the cannons, sending a shell hurtling toward the jets at twice the speed of sound. Another cannon fired about three seconds later, producing the same effect. The guns alternated fire, and about twelve seconds later, the rounds started making impact.

Even at such a distance, the explosions were clearly visible. It wouldn’t stand up to this battery for long.

Skies above the village

The 75 planes that initially delivered the New Vegasian Army to Sperland hadn't left its air yet. Upon discovering that their surprise attack had somehow been discovered, the Flight Marshal ordered them to take action.

The finger of each pilot in their respective plane hovered over the red button on the joystick. They flipped the cover off, and pressed the button. They then broke off immediately and turned around. They knew what they had done, and didn't regret it in the slightest.

The advancing Sperlish forces and tanks ignited in a fiery ball of yellow flame, billowing outwards, filling any nearby forest and escaping through the sections destroyed by the blast wave. The noise had reverberated over the sleeping village as efficiently as a thunder clap. New Vegasian soldiers lived for destruction, and reveled in causing it. OOC: Not a nuke.

New Cardiff, Dannira

So you're a cop, eh?” Alfred asked, leaning down so him and the policeman were eye to eye. “Some big shot useless piece of shit paid to stare at a wall all day long? Think that makes you better than me? You think that gives you the audacity to tell me what to do? You think that gives you–” Alfred leaned in close so the force of the words and his rank breath held more meaning, “–the balls to take me on?”

as the situation escalated, more police officers were called into the room.
"Sir, I am going to ask you to leave or you may get arrested" said one of the officers to Alfred Kappel

“Oh, so I’m a fucking sir, huh? Wow, that’s really touching you regard me so fucking highly right now!” Alfred spat out, his expression so serious the officer probably couldn’t tell whether that was sarcasm or not.

“Because that’s all I can see around me! A bunch of fucking freaks dressed like pimps who think they can talk down to me!” Alfred pulled out his own gun and fired at the so-called Sperlish "leader's" left leg.

Answer his question. Its the polite fucking thing to do.

The Carenian guards clutch their pistols as the ambassadors duck under the table. Narang texts the Carenian Intelligence and Reconnaissance Services (CIRS) to send an armored van for the ambassadors and the Carenian guards to escape as gunfire breaks out in the room.

OOC: I'm not looking for a fight, just an answer. This will be my last post for tonight and possibly tomorrow, as I have a lot to do.

Maximilian ducked beneath the conference table and drew the 1911 he that was previously holstered inside his jacket as his guards began to surround his current position. He knew well he could handle himself, he had signed on for another three years after his mandatory two in the military, after all. The five of them began to make their way out of the building, seeking to escape the chaos.
"I knew someone should have brought him that coffee he requested, the crazy bastard..." said Maximilian as he exited the hail of bullets.
Atlantic Ocean
The reinforcement ships had finally arrived, to the great pleasure of Commodore Morrison. Now he could stand against the GWO properly this time, having taken the time during the treaty to maneuver to within missile range of the hostile ships. If the ceasefire was canceled, he was more than ready.
Sperland
The Topkekkian troops had finally finished making their defenses in the forest. Trenches were dug, twisting amidst the trees, as a nearby clearing was being converted into an airstrip, the planes for it to be hidden in the trees. Rocket artillery and SAM platforms were prepared as well, strategically placed so that multiple units couldn't be taken out in a single strike, if that strike could get through. Sergey was just a grunt, but he knew a good defense when he saw one. He and his brothers in arms would be fairly safe here. He still wondered about the state of things on the Orderian side, however. If at all avoidable, he knew they wouldn't attack, but the GWO seemed to be adopting a similar strategy on the other side. Someone would have to break first.
OOC: I kind of like the idea of the peace talks dissolving due to a lone gunman having some... unique political techniques.

[Carena]

Narang and the other ambassadors run out of the room ducking, attempting to avoid any gunfire. Outside of the building waits an armored van with the Carenian flag painted on both sides. They hop into the van and begin driving towards the airport where the ambassador's private jets are located.

[Sperland]

The bullet hit his leg and John fell right to the ground. He smiled before saying "Go on. Shoot me. What are you waiting for? Are you a coward? Joseph Corloest said "Goddammit John why don't you ever believe me? I knew this would happen. "No point kiling a man over hacking into a countries internet, we mean you no harm whatsoever. Just put the gun down and calm down." He didn't understand, they hacked into different countries because they were at war. The Ottoan obviously didn't kniw how to control his temper. The two Ambassadors just stood there waiting for what was supposedly inevitable. "Kill us and your a dead man too" Joseph continued "Enough Sperlish Leaders have been assasinated by hot tempered people like you. Like I said, we mean you and everyone else no harm."

[Sperland]

The Sperlish defence in the Area was as good as gone. "God. Is this all they can do?" a soldier shouted over the bombardment. "Return the favour" The tanks swiftly moved from the area and moved into defence positions. New laser technology was being prepared against the atackers. (PMT) They didn't know who the enemy was. If the peace talks were dissolved then the Sperlish would retreat to the mountains. That was where the best defence was.

[The Grand World Order]

"It is not the Spire's intention to turn Sperland into a protectorate of Our Federation. As far as we're concerned, the Communes could continue to do whatever they like, beyond the limits of this area. I propose, instead, that this area become an international zone, representing Our Federation, Topkekkia, Soviet Catalonia, New Ottoa, or any other member who takes part in this treaty. We could divide this territory into sections administered by different member nations. This would allow all of us to keep each other in check. Regardless, there needs to be a significant foreign presence on the continent to deter aggression from the Communes," the retired military officer stated. He listened to the exchange between John and Carl, when he noticed that John had accused the Federation of genocide.

"Mister Jelivasano. It is regrettable that the levee systems in your country have failed- but we treat murder very, very seriously," he responded ((I stated that most either died, fled, or were identified as non-threats and left alone)). "The Federal Marine Corps has a stellar reputation for upholding the law of war, and every unit in the military at the Battalion level deploys with a team of Federal Guardsmen to ensure compliance. As far as I know, several search and rescue missions in the aftermath of the flooding have been conducted to rescue multiple Sperlish people even as the threat of combat looms. I've already indicated Our Federation's willingness to assist in rebuilding the Communes." He knew that there were some excesses in the Orderian military, but overall, non-combatant status was well respected. Usually. "As for repayments being geared towards helping civilians and the wounded rather than restocking weapons, I agree with Lord Carl. Restocking each other's weapons in this situation is akin to pouring lighter fluid on a brushfire- and, the export of military technology developed by Orderian companies is a very, very thorough process and I can guarantee that New Ottoa is the only nation represented here that has a good chance of being approved for GWO-developed technology."

When Emperor Kappel arrived, Orwaltz acknowledged his arrival with a brief glance. His eyebrows (what was left of them) scowled slightly when he demanded coffee- and when he vomited all over the table, Orwaltz swiftly grabbed hold of his tablet and papers, pulling them off and standing at the same time, sending his chair onto its side as his aides reacted similarly. He saw the situation rapidly deteriorate, eventually exploding in the New Ottoans pulling their guns on the Sperlish- the time-honored classic sign that negotiations had gone to shit. After Alfred fired a shot, 8 Federal Guardsmen in direct action uniforms charged in, immediately grabbing Orwaltz and the rest of the Orderian delegation and moving them outside to the Mavericks, where the rest of the Diplomatic Security Detail had formed a protective perimeter. Orwaltz was thrown in the first Maverick, the other delegates into the second, while several Guardsmen jumped into the armored Excalibur. With a screech, the motorcade took off, heading for the Orderian embassy, where the Federal Guard's Embassy Security Division troops had assumed battle stations. It was a bit over-the-top, but nobody quite knew what had just happened, and it was always better to be prepared.

A brief letter stating the Federation's intent to reschedule the peace conference was delivered to the embassies of all nations involved.


Orderian-Controlled Territory, Sperland

News that someone had started shooting at the peace conference didn't take long to reach the Marines. While the ceasefire was still in effect, many of the officers on the ground doubted it was going to hold for much longer. Constant RAH-66 flights were still ongoing, reporting that the Topkekkians had begun their own fortifications. A solid estimate of their forces hadn't been made yet- but it was clear that the Marines were greatly outnumbered, though they possessed a greater combined arms presence. If the ceasefire broke, it was going to be a very ugly fight. Yes, the Topkekkians had the advantage in numbers, but the Orderians had a superior base of fire, offshore support, and most of their NCOs and officers had been in multiple campaigns already; if the Socialists wanted to dislodge the Marines, they'd have to bleed for it- something the Marines couldn't do.

The situation on the ground was tense. Multiple FOBs had been set up, constructed of HESCO bastions, Bremer walls, and sandbags, with barriers set up to contain the blast effects of mortar and artillery attacks. Patrols had been intensified; armored infantry columns regularly wound their ways through the roads and trails within the area, usually consisting of platoons of Marines in split ranger files, with the front elements in echelon right or left pending on their position port or starboard of the platoon center. Usually, these patrols were accompanied by Havocs, Linces or the EFVs from the initial landing, and sometimes with a pair of MDI-A4 Divine Tigers. The heavier patrols (the ones with the tanks) tended to be those closest to the Topkekkians.

So far, however, the peace was to be kept on the Orderian side.

[Sperland]

Every civilian had now been evacuated from Sperlish Controlled territory. The Soldiers got ready to quickly move when the signal came. After that everyone would retreat and a man-made tsunami would tumble down from the mountains and move out to sea destroying all fleets that were there. An entire invasion force destroyed in around an hour. That was the least of Sperlands Capibilities. The Sperlish got a request to set off an electronic holocaust in New Ottoa. That was the signal that peace talks were not going well. After that they lost contact with them. Eventually they heard that the Ottoans had threatened to kill John and Joseph. But they didn't hear this.

Sperlish guards burst into the room with guns out. They were late. They had there mouths and nose covered up so you could not recognise them. They pointed there guns at the Ottoans and said "Put your guns down, IMMEDIATELY or DIE."

A: What is an Electronic Holocaust going to do to defend Sperland
B: The tsunami is just another part of defence. I don't know how it will turn out. If it turns out inhumane like Hiroshima and Nagasaki, I will most certainly stop.

I thought I did RP the preparation for the tsunami and Electronic holocaust. It would obviously take time and I have said more then once that I was preparing. You can't see me doing much else can you? And again I didn't notice Alfred shot My ambassador's leg until afterwards.

Our Northern Fleet (see earlier post) and Southern Fleet (see earlier post) are pulling into shore. The men on board will be sent around Sperland, particularily to the parts under attack and will fight.

HOW THE TSUNAMI WILL BE FORMED

This defence operation was thought up ten years ago by Marshall Labhras Dalavarsho. Sperland had lots of water spare. It was useless. What do they do? They use it as part of Sperlish defence. Simple. But here is the fact, a simple flood would be useless. They knew they needed something better. Then Dalavarsho came up with Operation Blue Storm. The first ever REAL man-made tsunami. A violent wave. This would probably crush a fleet. But how could water destroy a fleet? It would have to be able to kill a man. This wave would have to carry rocks, boulders, parts of broken buildings etc. Stone would sink a ship. Imagine being in a ship that was hit by a violent tsunami. You would be twirling all over the place, hitting the wall, floor, cieling. Chairs, beds and other things would have a 99.9% chance of hitting you again and again and again and again. Would you go that long without being knocked out or killed? Imagine if you were a ship being hit by other ships. The Sperlish seas are filled with mines. (I posted this earlier) The Ships would be not only be hit by other rubble, but mines as well.

Water would be release from the resovoirs and flood the area. Dams in the mountains would release there water and would flow down the mountains into the slower moving water forming what is known as a tsunami. This water has been filled up with rocks and other things you would find in an area with civilized humans.
