This first one is kickass, the second one is extremely repetitive, but still good

Reaper App

Name: Maiso Shitai.

Age at death: 18.

Year: Ferryman. Part-time volunteer teacher.

Gender: Male.

Death Form: Besides the obvious changes, Maiso grows stronger and wilder the longer he stays in Death Form. Black tribal tattoos begin appearing on his chest, and more appear the longer he's transformed.

Personality: Still disinterested in most of your shit, but now is obligated to give some level of fucks. Since he's now a full-fledged Reaper, and a husband, Maiso has come to be more caring in certain circumstances. He's also learned to be more defensive in others, and has no problem with knocking someone around to teach them respect.

Ability: Metallurgy X. Formerly, Maiso's ability required touch to activate. Now, it's anything within his line of sight, and anything he's touched prior. He can manipulate anything outside of others' Scythes, and can make any metal lethal to spirits.

Unique Life Spell: Steel Simulacrum. Creates a body double of Maiso made of metal. More durable than the original, can be manipulated like normal metal.

Unique Death Spell: Razor's Edge X. Microscopic blades are made of any available metal, entering the opponent's body and eviscerating it from every angle. Even from inside. Occasionally leaves the soul... unrecoverable.

Death Weapon in Reap Mode: Ginhai exists as a pair of twin blades that sheath into each other, and can link together to form a dual-edged staff.

Death Weapon in Death Mode: Ginhai Mugen turns the twin blades into a storm of infinitely small, yet highly lethal, metal shards. One of the handles remain as a directing tool for the storm.

Bio:

Maiso was the son of Japanese immigrants to the US, and rejected most of the "traditional" stuff his parents tried to instill in him. He just tried to live normally and fit in. He adapted his nonchalant attitude after this, and even went by the name of Mark to escape his parents' tradition. He always had a rebellious side to him (if that wasn't evident already), and he joined a band in his senior year of high school called Rejected Revenge as a bassist (unsurprisingly, they played various forms of rock 'n roll). Maiso was killed in a traffic accident, because he didn't notice the crosswalk changing to "STOP" and someone hit him while texting and driving. After his death, he wandered aimlessly like he did in life, before being noticed as qualified to be a reaper. Then he was taken to the academy, and has been there ever since.

Maiso's time spent in the Grim Reaper Academy was time well spent, at least he thought so. Upon graduation, he had an occasionally bipolar girlfriend, a certificate that authorized him to become a Ferryman, and still too much apathy for one man to hold. So upon graduation, Maiso became a Ferryman and continued to do what he had done as a student. Albeit, with a more steady schedule.

After, eh, a few years of the same old, Maiso decided to do something novel. He brought a small camera with him to work, recording his fight against a group of poltergeists. Surprisingly, the video went viral on Limbo's skewed version of a certain video sharing site that The Author refuses to call DeadTube or GrimTube or anything of the sort. Months, and more videos later, Maiso developed a cult following of fans who ravenously consumed the videos of himself and a few colleagues, which Maiso (dramatically) named the Grim Reaper League: a competition between a few Ferrymen for money to see who could reap the most souls in a certain time limit. The bigger his "organization" got, the more Maiso enjoyed doing his job. And, generally, the happier he was.

Now, eight years after graduating GRA, Maiso Shitai is a celebrity among Death's people. His shoddy home videos have started a sport amongst GRA students and Ferrymen alike: Pro Reaping, that now has its own legion of fans, professional sponsors, and teams. And Maiso relishes in it all, with his somewhat recently married wife Mirna, living in the lap of luxury. Or, as luxurious as being dead can get. They actually live a barely-above-average life, save for Maiso's Pro Reaping and Mirna's educational duties. But they're fine with that, because at least they haven't died twice.
