Dietrich Ekerhart Haegler

Race: Human
Gender/Sex: Male
Appearance:
Equipment: A hardened steel dagger, a whip, a rifle
Skills: Bowing and Scraping
Weaknesses: Close Combat and large scale fighting
Bio: Dietrich was born as a simple child in the city of Waldenhof. With his 2 simple minded parents he had a rather uneventful life. However, due to him not really being the physically strongest and healthiest person from the beginning of his life he couldn`t really work on the fields or at the blacksmith. And he was by far too cowardly to join the military. Because he couldn`t really benefit his family he was soon thrown out of their house and forced to live a life on the dangerous streets of Waldenhof. Usually someone like him should have died there within a week but Dietrich wasn`t stupid. He was very good at evading trouble by blaming others or bribing others. He also began to set up a small black market to finance all the bribing he did. At first the people didn`t trust him but he offered goods with rather good quality which had previously been stolen by bribed bandits. But the longer his business prospered the more reckless he got and finally his bandits stole the wrong goods. Within the next few nights all of the bandits he had hired were killed. Getting nervous Dietrich hired a local street gang to protect him and his business. But they didn`t matter much when the night came. All of his rogues were killed without any sound and within a minimum of time. And now that the way to him, was cleared they stormed his house. He was quickly discovered hiding in a small secret room behind a shelf with stolen quality wines.

But it seemed that he was lucky. He had robbed the von Carsteins and they had sent some of their underlings to teach him a lesson. However, it seemed that those, while hunting him down, had been impressed by the network he had built up and when they saw him they were even more impressed that a man with such features had managed to regain a foothold in life after literally loosing everything. They brought him to the local Vampire count and as that one was generous this night and Dietrich managed to do a good job bowing and scraping he was allowed to work for the Vampire counts and act as their eyes and ears in the lands of the empire. He didn`t get any real advice on what to do. He only got an order to go to Hochland and a carriage to get there plus an adress where he should go once he reached Hochland. He was also allowed to hire 2 trustworthy men to assist him in doing his duties for the Vampires. Luckily he had some men in the back of his hand whose free will he had destroyed via drugs long ago. They made some very trustworthy men. And with his assistants chosen he took the carriage and quickly traveled towards Hochland.
Familiarity: I read the Druchii codex, those 3 books about Tyrion and Teclis, 2 books about undead Nagash and 2 books of Gotrek and Felix. The rest I know comes from random places like NS or YT.
