Police service vehicles

Postby Gear 1 » Mon Oct 19, 2015 7:11 am

The auto industry in GEAR 1 builds civil service vehicles according to a standard from the government called the SSP (Special Service / Police) package, which provides the necessary options and modifications needed for fire and police service vehicles. The SSP package includes uprated fusion-hybrid drive engines that are unavailable to the public, improved power distribution systems and hookups for the variety of police and fire accessories needed in service equipment, such as radios, spotlights, emergency light bars, and cooling systems. The SSP standard has been applied to a number of products to produce service equipment for the various departments and agencies of GEAR 1.

Firefighting Services - GEAR 1

The GEAR 1 Fire Service, a part of the Federation Office of Emergency Management, is organized at the city and regional level but administered much like a paramilitary organization and funded nationally to provide for the common civil defense.

Individual departments are established as regional Divisions, broken down into Fire Brigades, Battalions, Companies and Squads.

The Government of The Sovereign Federation of GEAR 1

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your inquiry and memorandum requesting procurement of the fine military hardware produced by GEAR 1! It is our pleasure to present you with a government to government preferred sale quotation on the units requested.

Federal Arsenals HMMWV - Base Model GUC 50,000 (NS$ 25,000) - Please add an additional GUC 20,000 (NS$ 10,000) for 360-degree armor upgrade kits (pre-installed at the factory) and underbelly mine protection, cost is per vehicle.

Inter-Global Wildcatter - Base model (military - limited "amenities") costs GUC 24,000 (NS$ 12,000) per unit. Civilian models, which include standards such as entertainment system, radio/CD/satellite, Navigation and convenience display, air conditioning, are GUC 28,000 (NS$ 14,000) per unit. Add GUC 12,000 (NS$ 6,000) to uparmor either type. If you desire these units to be upfitted to SSP (Special Service / Police) standard, add GUC 8,000 (NS$ 4,000) for the complete setup. Emergency service light bars, secure radios and accessories are provided gratis with the SSP setup, or you can equip them your way after delivery.

You can upgrade to the fully digitized fire control, advanced tactical comms and the 120mm Dragonfire II automatically loaded mortar system for GUC 25,000 (NS$ 12,500) to cover the cost difference in the digital equipment and advanced mortar.

Please advise if you want this order prepared with special conditions, such as having camouflage paint patterns applied, service decals for emergency apparatus ("Police" or "Fire", for example) or paint patterns, as you might find on example police and fire equipment in Federation service.

Your response with desired specifications and acceptance of the terms of sale would be appreciated. Thank you for considering our manufacturing industries to serve your needs.

SSVN-1 Nuclear Submersible Aircraft Carrier

Postby Gear 1 » Mon Oct 26, 2015 7:53 am

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WhoZgRhajbQ/Vi46BYo4WLI/AAAAAAAAB9E/cxPWuRGHwnE/s1600/0%2BG1%2BSSVN-1%2BSub%2BCarrier.png
Too big for here...

The nuclear powered SSVN-1 is a modified and extended design based on the hull profile of the United States Ohio Class ballistic missile submarine. With a revised internal arrangement, larger sail/conning tower to accommodate PRIFLY and additional communications equipment and a hangar deck inside the pressure hull, the submarine can bring a combination of missiles and tactical fighters into areas where a full carrier battle group might draw too much attention.

Standard Crew: 225 (155 navy crew, 70 aircraft detachment)
Can transport up to 36 Navy SEALs for special insertions by hot bunking the assigned crew (2 x 16-man platoons and a 4-man mission command team). This arrangement is non-permanent.

Armaments: 4 bow and 4 stern torpedo tubes for Mk 50 ADCAP torpedoes
8 cell VLS for Tomahawk (Conventional or Nuclear Tipped)
8 cell VLS for Harpoon (Antiship)
16 cell VLS for Sea Sparrow point defense
2 GOALKEEPER II CIWS (retractable into pressure hull when submerged)

Aircraft Complement: 1 x SH-60B ASW / SAR helicopter
8 x F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (VTOL) or 8 x AV-8B Harrier II

Powerplant: 2 x linked Westinghouse PWR-6A pressurized water nuclear reactors, equipped with Advanced Power Distribution System
2 x Geared Turbines, 1 single main shaft with a triple screw system (3 x 7-bladed propellers on main shaft)
2 x Auxiliary propulsion pods, electric drive, jettisonable (single screw on each pod draws electric power from the dual reactors to boost surface speed or emergency speed submerged; can be jettisoned in emergency; secured when running in Ultra Quiet)

GEAR-1 currently has one vessel undergoing sea trials with an eventual fleet of eight in the procurement pipeline. Expected to operate with one or two hunter-killer nuclear attack submarines as escorts.

SSVN-1 GSS Federation - Sea trials
SSVN-2 GSS Kelseyland - Building
SSVN-3 Keel Laid
SSVN-4 through 8 Planned for future procurement

General Headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Sovereign Federation of GEAR 1

Foreign Military Sales Directorate

To our honored clients in the Imperium of Birtonia, Ave!

It is quite unfortunate that I wire you this news. The Office of the Inspector General of my ministry, as well as the Armed Forces Inspector General have initiated an investigation into your previous order of surplus G101 Grimjack vehicles. In light of recent sales activity with other nations, our office became concerned with the amount you were charged for your order of surplus military vehicles in the G101 Grimjack class. This has been traced to a civilian employee within the contracts administration section of the Program Office who was determined to be a foreign agent provocateur who was conspiring to spoil our foreign trade.

While the true financial impact of this investigation is determined, as a measure of good faith, I have personally arranged for the Export-Import division of the Federation Central Bank to extend you a line of credit in order to commence the immediate deliveries of your requested equipment. It is likely that the final cost we quote you for this second order will include an offset for being incorrectly overcharged for the Grimjacks we had delivered. We simply ask your patience as this investigation proceeds.

Also, as a measure of good faith, we are offering you fifty W4500 CityTruck military grade dump trucks to augment your IMAT construction equipment order at no cost.

Once more, we truly appreciate your purchase and hope to resolve this internal matter quickly, in order to properly invoice your current order. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please direct them to the International Trade Attache at our closest diplomatic station or embassy, and I would be glad to communicate with you personally.

Postby Gear 1 » Fri Oct 30, 2015 8:19 pm

The Aeroteq JetMaster is a 36 passenger, short haul commuter jet with twin engines that is used by the military for passenger non-tactical scheduled flight service and delivery of small cargo loads to outlying bases.

This example is assigned to a Fleet Logistics Squadron of the GEAR 1 Navy.

Thank you to Atok Air - It's a pleasure doing business with your organization. Deliveries by ferry flight shall begin immediately from our Eagle Point aircraft assembly facility. If the Emirate government wishes to consider this airframe for military applications, please feel free to contact the Ministry for International Trade, as we have military drawings in production for the GEAR 1 Aerospace Forces and demonstration models for review.

Aeroteq JetMaster J250-100

Postby Gear 1 » Sun Nov 01, 2015 2:14 am

The Aeroteq JetMaster J250-100 is a four engine "big brother" to the J228-100. Rated for approximately 50-75 passengers in commuter configuration, this aircraft is also flown by the Federation Office of Emergency Management (and the GEAR 1 Air Force) as a short-to-medium range air ambulance for emergency responses to remote parts of the country.
