Punungan Palace

A sleek looking sedan pulled up to the massive palace after picking up it's passenger at Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Once the sedan stopped the rear door was opened before one white and blue heel hit the ground, and out stepped the former Dirigeant of Kirishima. Lady Satsuki Kiryuin arrived in the flesh as she was the next best person after the Dirigeant to come to the Bayan and meet with leadership. With her was the long time ambassador to the bayan Mrs. Yuko Delacroix.

If Satsuki was cold and at times rutherless to strangers and politicians while amicable and bubbly with family and friends, Yuko was the exact opposite. Yuko was mostly an emotionless individual but when conducting diplomacy she is kind loving and respectful. In this visit they were a perfect compliment to each other. While in the palace they were offered friendship drink but they both refuse. While there is a saying that a man never refuses a meal set before him, the two delegates where women and there is a saying in La Verite in the book of Alice, an angel who walked the earth in the name of the Goddess. "Drink only from that you are accustomed to and do not touch liquid that that is not natural. Wait for others to drink from it and let it flow though the blood, if by the next day the drink does not cause aliment then enjoy. If it does pray for the victim for they sacrifice helped all."

Satsuki and Yuko then waited to be greeted.

Brytisc Embassy, Manila, Asigna

The Brytisc had been enjoying improved relations with Asigna ever since the leftist Natpro party came to power. Goldwing Finance had recently invested in the Asigna Corporation Economic Development Forum, and trade links between the two countries were strengthening as confidence returned to the markets following the removal of Terten and the dawning of a new era in Asigna.

Ambassador Landford

Brytene had even seen fit to appoint a new Ambassador to Asigna, one Charles Landford. Landford was a middle-aged man, tall and overweight, with a thick moustache and an infectious smile. He exuded a natural diplomatic charm, giving off the air of one destined to spend his time at international functions, in rich leather chairs, or at quiet tête à têtes with other noteworthies and power players. He was a patient and thoughtful man, but his scathing wit was legendary. Right now, he was exhausted, even as his four-marine security detail and two aides busied themselves adding the final touches to the embassy compound, from securing the entryways to personalising the telephone system.

Asigna was a hot nation, the streets outside thick with the scents of a thousand different foods, spices, goods, plants, and people, along with the less savoury smells that came with any major city during the warm summer months, but the heat suited him fine. He had already led a long life, and had learned to snatch at both comfort and sleep whenever they were available.

One of his guards stepped up to him as he dozed, shaking him gently awake. Looking up, he saw a polynesian woman with rich black hair and strong legs. "Ambassador, it's time to go. You're expected at the palace."

He stretched, paused for a moment, and then rose with a groan. "I suppose you're right. You'll come with me, Lani?"

His chief bodyguard suppressed a smile. Landford was also incredibly informal with his personal staff, even more so than the average Bryton. She nodded, turning to make the arrangements.

Dharma (3) - the Smug and the Righteous | I'm waiting asigna

Postby Victoriala » Tue Sep 29, 2015 7:23 am

Hope breeds peace. - Kong Qiu

The fan festhers jest with the round table. I am with sovereigns, and I am bored.

As much as I like coming around in affairs of many, a talk of places I have no matter upon usually make me more... How can you say this, ah. Unfocused. Mostly because talking politics is like watching films in languages, I cannot understand Latin, Greek nor Byongzi. An ocean unknown is a world uncertain, only divine light drenched in Nirvana can make you dip your feet in it.

"Should we come uninvited?" My husband says. He seems unsure, like a red duke of old. Yes, we wear red, but we aren't dukes. The others process the idea, altering or chunking it into a viable answer.

Coming uninvited to the Philippines? Bah, very volatile. Almost a long time of war and destruction has separated the knot and phi since the Red Insurrection. Say, Mahesvara might say no on different terms. He's still sour about the mad four-eyes not attending Vardhana's funeral. The other Vardhana has been on bad terms with Terten. Bowen is there, waiting for an answer.

Tenoru might say yes. She will.

I know she will.

"Your fellow majesties and excellencies." The flower lady stood, as expected of her. She bows and flicks her fan in a gesture, and proceeds to walk around the table. "It has been very, very long since we have brought ourselves in the world beyond. We were a nation that stood out among the warmongers. We followed our laws. We followed custom and did what is right and allowed freedom of ideals. We were renowned prosperous as the land of 魯 during the twilight of the Zhou rule. It is most veritable if we exceed beyond it. We were mediators. Peacemakers--"

"Bad ones, at that." I giggled.

"That's exceedingly impolite of you."

"I'm still right." I continued, like the smug delinquent I am. I'm always right. The Confluence caved over since lord Kong's ideals and their ideals never mix, the damned fools.

"Ugh. (wench.) Now, moving on, we are renowned for bringing six warring binding nations together. We brought a muzzle to prevent more of this madness. We hid in the shadow for long, like a cat in fear of its own tail. Lord Kong once said, 'confidence breeds hope and hope breeds peace' and 'to know what is right and not do it is the worst cowardice.' Why are we sitting here and doing nothing? We must redirect the flow of history once more and and instill peace."

Eye rolling. Bravo, sister. What display! Oh, malevolent beings please, take me to the afterlife where I can majestically bask in the glory of her inspiring oratorio! Bullshit. You only want to get dancing with the bayonets.

I stand up.

"Your fellow majesties and excellencies." I bow in the same form. I smile and swing my fan, chuckling.

"Sister, your words may be like bagpipes from a kingly time where it calls for the song of battle, but your sound reeks of Quirinese righteousness. Much more dissapointing, though, I rooted for you. It's far more detestable, in all my honest opinion, than my occasional rudeness. Your actions scream and your words mellow, Tenoru. You want us to go to war."

"Dear Heki, we have been confidants for long, and you burn the bridge with this? I agreed to be by your and your husband's side. What come you go against me now?"

"Teno, for Shiheki's sake, you should lay this off. We want recognition, not blood. I thought we have agreed on this since the very first council. We will not impose nor manipulate. 'Instill peace'? Pah, the Quirinese we much dislike have more sense than you and you are as credible as the mad four-eyes here. Hey, ya fuckin shitheel, I wear glasses too, you know. Nobody gives a fuck, Vicky. I'm going to say no. We will engage them polite and answered."

"You asked for my cooperation."

"We did, but we didn't ask you to jump the gun."

She sighed and walked away. Who's petulant now, dear blossom? You, childless and adopted a peasant for your game or I, who exercises my will to speak freely under the clauses this table allowed? If it is the one who will break us all apart, it is you.

By the way, you misquoted Confucius. You left one statement out.

Part 1/4 - The real maestro of war

Postby Asigna » Thu Oct 01, 2015 7:26 am

The broadcast of the empire's threat of war was met with mixed reactions. But amongst the Asigna party, laughter and ridicule was the most common reaction. Timente slammed the empire as "over confident" thinking that their take over of the innocent nation of Azenyanistan, which was a helpless and politically unstable country to start with was proof of the empire's military prowess.

"That wasn't a military victory." Timente remarked. "All i see is betrayal by a nation towards a people they promised to protect from the horrors of terrorism."

He added. "And now this betrayal is what makes them complacent with their current political state. Their undisciplined rowdy and boisterous army however, will be crushed if they go to an actual war against real armies."

Listen: Music of message from the punong - The fallen (James Newton)

A project of the Asigna corporation and the National progressivist movement.

As men of god, we change the world

-A message from the punong delivered by the bayan interior ministress Faye Kabil-

Image
"Thus says the punong, 'We appeal to the Philippine empire to think twice before they do anything that is uncalled for by the international forces. We ask you to renounce your declaration of war immediately or we will respond. We will not tolerate any further message of aggression against the bayan.

You have already grabbed the ire of many amongst the international community considering the extent of your heinous and evil crimes against the people of Azenyanistan and to your own people and by declaring war of aggression against our innocent nation, you are asking for a justified crusade by the bayan against your government.

We are giving you an 24 hour ultimatum to respond with renunciations against your previous statements lest you want this to end with Phi banners fluttering over your nation's buildings.
'

And that is all from the punong Timente. Thank you for watching.

MABUHAY!"

-BROADCAST END-

Weeks earlier before the broadcast was made public, back at the Punungan Timente's office, there were some Asigna party officials who were curious as to why their punong had decided to delay plans for the liberation of Azenyanistan by giving the Neo Philippine empire a second chance.

"Why are we giving them a chance to back down, they've already caused enough trouble. At this point, it's okay forus to destroy them before they do anything destructive since we're no longer the only ones who think that the self proclaimed Philippine empire must be destroyed." They said in protest to Timente.

But Timente simply shrugged and with a smile said. "If they deny our calls for peace, that will pound the final nail in the coffin of their international reputation. Only then will we destroy them. We need not make our decisions of war too early for that will only make that emperor Enerio of theirs a conservative martyr."

Then the rest nodded in agreement.

"Ladies and gentlemen...Mga kababayan..." Timente said as he stood up. "I'll show you how world politics can be done...competently."

The information ministry then decided to finally broadcast the announcement of Adriano's latest order, which was to start another 5 year revolution.

"I, the punong of the bayan, Adriano Timente, By virtue of the will of the people throughout our nation declare that a second 5 year revolution has begun. We are determined to achieve the following aims in this revolution:

-Self sufficiency in the power sector by liberating our electricity needs from the grip of the fuel market through turning to renewable methods.
-Greater and closer interaction between the bayan and the allied markets through close coordination between our nation's financial institutions
-To effectively ensure a freedom of travel by all individuals in the bayan and several countries we are still considering to establish a permanent special relationship with. Possible options are Kirishima, Whiteshore, Azenyanistan, Esgonia, Hatay, Krajistov and some more nations from the international freedom coalition i need not to mention.
-To secure our abilities in space travel for future space economic ventures that include a consensual agreement between nations to mine the moon. Something which the previous administration has planned but failed at.
-and finally, to DeTertenize the nation, which has so distorted our view of history on Terten as a completely amiable figure which deserves full credit of our current direction towards progress.

This revolution will not be successful without the full participation of all the members of the bayan through your utmost approval and manifestation of your desire to help us in this endeavor through your actions. Together we advance!

Mabuhay!

Many economists were stunned by the announcement of a "second 5 year campaign". The Asigna party, a few hours after the broadcast then revealed through several internet articles and announcements that the new 5 year revolutionary campaign was not only industrial in nature like the first one, but also globalist as much of the plans were about establishing closer friendships with the countries mentioned by Timente in his broadcast which he wants to create "permanent special relationships" with.

As tensions and instability in the Asia region , the Navy of Alaska has announced that it will be increasing patrols in the waters around its nation, and for the first time in more than 25 years, Alaskan naval vessels will leave territorial waters to patrol to Asigna were many of the conflicts are situated towards .Many Alaskan have predicted that the tension between Asigna and SACTO will not end, but rather grow to much more extreme levels, and there have been calls for the government to prepare for a regional conflict if not a global war .

Some plans have already been put into place for the issues. The President personally stated that Alaskan’s waters and coastal cities were being militarized
, the President has ordered nightly air trips to Ross and around key assets around the country.

Leaked reports also show that the Military is taking the threat rather seriously. Vague communications may indicate that the Air Force of Alaska is planning air strikes and cargo drops to certain forces if, or when, the war breaks out. There are also references to Alaskan’s Navel forces sent a small fleet to the region hopefully to deescalate tensions ;furthermore it will be leaving us to wonder if the A.D.F.R. will be involved in its first major war in over 100 years since World War 2.

Asigna is a important trade and economic partner when and before Terten impeachment .Since then, Alaska has been active in its affairs, as a major aid provider to the current government; were also sending in military contractors and advisors . Defense Ministry commented that the operations will cost billions of dollars and as such, the budget is being slightly readjusted in order to provide the Military with the funds they need to carry out the operation.

Part 2/4 - The progressivists' world party

Postby Asigna » Fri Oct 02, 2015 8:15 am

Timente then decided to leave the Esgonian delegate for a while to enjoy the dinner that was being served for him as the punong climbed the staircase towards the balcony overlooking all the attendants, the guests and the foreign delegates who were currently inside the grand palace lobby celebrating. After making a gesture with his hand, a camera like device was lowered by a black robotic crane arm beside him. The device which was apparently a camera broadcasted Timente's face unto projector screens on other parts of the palace and the outside of the palace as well on the ground floor so those who could not see Timente in the balcony clearly could rather turn to the screens for view instead.

Image
"Greetings... friends... guests. Welcome to the bayan!" He says, his voice echoing throughout the palace grounds through a microphone attached his collar, giving a warm smile as he spoke like he does every so often.

"I have heard of several rumors from the outside... Terten fell, because of that the Philippines is poor. Well i tell you... he's not our $8 trillion dollars.." Timente says lifting his wine glass as the crowd around him laughs a bit.

"Terten sitting in the Punungan palace is not what makes this country rich or its people brave and strong. Rather, it is the result of our own people's hard work and determination.

The only way to take away the bayan's wealth, is to take away... its 200 million people. A talented and determined bunch who makes $8 trillion dollars, 14.5 trillion bayan pesos a reality. To all of the members of the bayan, let's give ourselves a warm round of applause."

As the crowd applauded, Timente's face on the projector screens was replaced with blackness and seconds later, the Phi banner. After the national anthem's instrumental played.

"Ladies and gentlemen... especially to foreign dignitaries who have come to witness the new chapter in our bayan which is more committed to the progressivist movement more than ever. Please indulge yourselves in the projector screens we have readied for you. I'm going to show you a presentation of a certain..." He said as he rubs his thumb against his index finger as he tries to catch some words.

"Presentation...narrated by yours truly..." He said as he gave a clearly faked giggle.

Presentation in 3....2....1...

"Today... in the 21st century, Globalization has made this world much wiser, much more connected than ever... through more modern transportation means and more developed infrastructure which has allowed easier flow of money and goods between borders.

It is not only easier for us to exchange the goods and concrete resources that we make with one another, we also become more and more enlightened in this century as through technological advancements in the field of communication and the internet has made it easier for us to exchange ideas, share our experiences and knowledge with one another therefore allowing an explosion of possibilities for our capabilities as a species.

Image

It is only in today's century that we have realized how much we need each other by using our unique experiences and abilities to complement each other in order for not only our nations....., but also for our species to thrive...

The Asigna corporation has realized this fact and therefore it has been established by the progenitors of the National progressivist movement in order for the bayan to be able to share its knowledge gained from the experiences it has when over the years when social and economic prosperity was achieved to the other less fortunate nations and those who seek to advance their respective communities and make progress a constant fact in their communities.

We can make sustainable social and economic progress in our own nations a reality by joining hands together in our goals in coordination with the Asigna corporation's financial prowess.
Image
Through the EDF or the economic development forum, an arm of the corporation, we support underfunded development projects particularly those of urban projects. We follow the PPP partnership method of executing our projects. We convene to discuss problems in economies, such as unemployment, inflation, income disparities and etc. and also to think of solutions to solve them. We are in this together.

We can also make the promising ones among our respective populations work together by promoting the agenda of freedom of movement and easing of restrictions of travel as well as processes between our borders just like how it was done in the European union. Aside from fostering greater intellectual cooperation, we can also promote the businesses of our respective nations as it will be possible each of our citizens will go to each others' nations to support each other's businesses.

Finally, we can work together to make sure this connection will be made solid through a collective defense of our more closely coordinated military.

We have to work together for progress to exist in the world in the most optimum level. Join us.

Timente then lip singed every single word of the presentation as it was being shown. He still memorizes the content of his presentation which he made himself as propaganda minister word for word. Though the presentation he recalled was supposed to be released during the days of the Coffee club in the Imperium airport summit (which was a failure due to Terten's sudden lack of interest to keep up with the developments).

The guests then applauded in delight as the final slide of the video presentation which showed the logo of the Asigna corporation faded out to black. Timente then turned to the crowd himself joining the applause clapping at his own slick work. He then grabbed a wine glass for a certain toast.

"A toast... to our visions...of Unity!" Timente said with the guests rumbling back the word "Unity!" at him in unison.

"...Prosperity!" "Prosperity!"

"And most of all..Progress!..." "Progress!"

"But speaking of progress.. i would also like to give cheers to fellow progressivist movements in Whiteshore... Krajistov... Kirishima... Bashriyya... Romiran... and the rest of the world if they desire to speak up... I salute you for your efforts and we would be very much interested in using this party as an opportunity to coordinate these efforts with you." The punong said as several uniformed officials approached Aguilar, the Whiteshorian prime minister who was amongst the crowd celebrating.

"Your excellency come with us..." They say directing him towards a door in the very end of a large hallway.

Timente then continued. "I would like to receive your comments on the matter of our presentation and hope that each and everyone of you would be kind enough to throw away any desire to explicitness and just blurt it out... we need to know what you are interested in doing. So anyone who is interested in asking questions and clarifications...please approach the microphone in front of you."

He then points to a place in the middle of the crowd, which gave way to where the spotlight lit as the ambient lights around them dimmed, the crowd then retreated to the sides of the room to reveal a microphone in center of the ground floor which was lit by a spotlight.

"Anyone? Come come?"

Romiran

It became clear upon its creation and upon execution of Gobernador Heneral Davis's reforms, the state of Romiran became widely unpopular to the world, mostly because of the tight anti religious policies and clear efforts to remold the culture of these territories. The reputation crisis of Romiran then caught Timente's attention who sent a personal letter to Davis to halt all the anti religious activities as well as the secret attempts to commit cultural erasure except in the field of Language, which was for the sake of creating a unifying native language compatible with the tongues of all the multi ethnic citizens of Romiran.

Davis, who was concerned that Romiran's unpopularity might only strengthen the position of the bayan's rivals, decided to simply comply. However, in the latest law he passed forbidding and scrapping anti religious policies, he made certain loopholes to make sure that he still has absolute power to detain those the regime could consider as threats to their agenda.

When Davis announced the new law to the Romiran council, much of the law makers were even shocked about the news of the repealing of the anti religious policies. They simply didn't know that such policies were even in place and the anti religious policies lasted in such a short time that the regime did not have the luxury of time to fully implement it institutionally. And it was done, an immediate 100% vote approved the repealing of the restrictive laws.

BAGONG LIPUNAN HYMN - Hymn of human progress

Mabuhay to all peoples of the bayan from Bucharest to Aden, from Mariupol to Bandar Abbas.

TEXT PROCLAMATION AS APPROVED BY THE FIRST COUNCIL OF THE BAYAN OF ROMIRAN

We hereby halt all anti religious activities in the bayan of Romiran in accordance to the progressivist value of respect for all rights and freedom of choice and expression of a human being inside the ideal progressivist world.

The bayan of Romiran is to halt all the demolitions of the places of worship of all religious sects and to repeals the anti religious acts placed in the bayan's curriculum. This is in accordance with the theory of gradual acceptance, when preset norms becomes part of a culture and therefore, contributes to the creation of a more efficient system and the most effective way to ensure the progressivist movement stays intact and becomes the well accepted primal duty of a citizen to maintain it and contribute to the movement's diversity and beauty even more.

We however do not excuse the following crimes:
-Extremism
-Hate speech and crimes as well as treasonous speech
-Terrorism and conspiracy to commit terrorism and treasonous acts

Mabuhay!

Along with the anti religious policies, the process of deTertenization took place in Romiran. Unlike in the bayan, the deTertenization that needs to be done was much more drastic as government buildings and other public facilities all over Romania, and to a lesser scale, Iran had been desecrated with statues of Terten and propaganda posters as well as paintings of Terten portraying him as some kind of figure that is worthy of Stalin level veneration. Images of Terten's statues in the former palace of the Soviets being taken down by dynamite were the poster images for the ongoing efforts.

The New Petrograd Times

Constituent Assembly passes "October 4 Resolution"

Today, both houses of the Constituent Assembly has voted on the "October 4 Resolution" proposed by Progressive Socialist Senator Dmitri Smirnov and Progressive Socialist Assemblyman Nikolai Frolov. The Resolution passed through the Lower House with 413 votes in favor and 197 against the Resolution and in the Upper House, the resolution passed 82-68. The text of the resolution can be found here:

October 4 Resolution

Article 1: The Resolution gives the Prime Minister the ability to authorize military actions without the approval of the Constituent Assembly
Article 2: The Prime Minister may temporarily nationalize industries essential to the War effort
Article 3: The Prime Minister can suspend civil liberties if the "security of the nation is at stake" and a 3/4ths majority of both houses agree
Article 4: The Resolution bans any movement which calls for the armed overthrow of the Whiteshorian Government with the permission of the supreme court
Article 5: The Filibuster is abolished until the resolution is repealed
Article 6: The Government re-affirms it's friendship with the Bayan
Article 7: The role of supreme commander in chief is transferred from the Empress to the Prime Minister
Article 8: The Whiteshorian Government is permitted to help the Bayan in any shape or form
Article 9: This resolution expires in 18 months and cannot be renewed.

Opinion polls suggest that 61% of the people in Whiteshore support the bill but in New Petrograd's main square, a loose coalition of businessmen and civil libertarians have launched a demonstration against the October 4 resolution.

Mt. Hadesais, WPT.
10:34PM, WPT time.

A car drove through the forest, picketed with the trees seen all over the island nation. It wasn't tropical. Wasn't Siberia like. It was neither. Just the right climate. It came up to a checkpoint along the road. On both sides of the road, a guard shack. In between, a barrier. The guard shacks were surrounded with sandbags, and a few guns could be seen inside the guard shacks. The car, a Jeep like vehicle with two occupants, stopped at the barrier. A guard walked out, and walked up to the driver's window. "Who are you, where's your identification?" The driver fumbled around a few seconds, before exchanging two of what appeared to be passports. Of course, they weren't passports. They were the ID's of the two people inside the vehicle. After a few seconds of inspection, the guard handed back the ID's through the window, and said "Clear. Be careful, the road's more full of mud than normal." He went back into the shack, before pressing a button that lifted the barrier.

The vehicle continued forward, and the guard lifted the barrier back down. He went back to his seat to drink a coffee. They vehicle continued for a few minutes until they reached their destination. The headquarters of the Intelligence Agency, Asiantaeth Cudd-wybodaeth Milwrol. Or, more commonly known, as the ACM. The vehicle parked in one of the lot's available spaces, and two men walked out of the vehicle. One of them had what used to be a beard on his face, and had dark hair. The other was more shorter than the other, and was blonde. The walked into the door of the main complex building, and were quickly meeted by the Agency's director. After a quick chat, the Director briefed the pair. He told them in a rugged voice (OOC: imagine the one Captain Price from CoD4 has.) "All right. So, here's the get-go. Erin Terten, the former leader of the Bayan, was overthrown in a coup. Adriano Timente, the nation's former propaganda master, has taken control of the nation. Now, so far, we don't know much about this guy other than that he's really aggressive against the nation's conservative allies. That's a definite. Meanwhile, Erin has started this crazy religion thing concerning politics. Now, there's a Cold War like thing going on between the Bayan and the Greater Nihon Empire. Erin's being held in prison in a unknown location."

"Okay, so here's what we're gonna do." He continued. "Our government's taken a real big interest in this. They're a member of the GALAN alliance. And with that Cold War, we're gonna have to help them to show our good will. First off, here's what the government's going to do. They're going to send a delegate to the Philippines, and meet with the new ruler. We first off need to get this mess figured out. Be on alert, we're going to see a lot of work to do in the near future. Dismissed." The two men left the building.

Meanwhile...

Two part final - The revelation

Back at the room, before the Esgonia accords on Azenyanistan independence

Alexander Karten, chief of the KK
The group was still in confusion at Terten's words. "Revelation?" Rosa said before she could even mouth one more word the bespectacled man immediately interrupted.

"I'm sorry Rosa dear but i only talk to my favored workers..." Terten smirked. "Mind if you... I only need to talk to Karten." Rosa felt herself trembling, she knew this feeling with Terten, she had this when the man was giving him orders and she was about to get yelled at.

"Why is tha-" "SHUT UP I SAID I ONLY NEED TO TALK TO KARTEN YOU DUMB INCOMPETENT BITCH!" At this, Rosa immediately backed down in fright. She tried to think how she could still feel fear in the face of a man who is already locked up, it doesn't make sense, she thought. There's no need to fear him, in fact, it's the man who should listen to every word she will say now that he's capable of doing nothing. She immediately tried to think of the best insult that she can hurl at him however, Karten, who sensed rage at the woman and seeing her clench her fists made his move by placing his hand on the foreign ministress's shoulder.

"I-" Rosa squeaked only to be interrupted by Karten.

"Madame Rivera let me take it from here." He said as he sat on the chair and took the microphone.

"Alright, just answer this question... what are you planning to do with all this tesseract religion thing spreading in the bayan?" Karten pressed as Rosa and the KK security team accompanying them looked on.

The bespectacled man behind the glass only gave a smug and didn't answer.

Image
Rosa Rivera, the foreign ministress of the bayan
"I think we're wasting our time here." The bespectacled foreign ministress sighed. "Come on Gin'ong Karten... Let's leave." She said as walked towards the door and grabbed the KK chief by the sleeve but the KK chief shrugged her off. "NO!" The man protested. "I need to know what is happening here!" He said as he went back into his seat and grabbed the microphone.

"I know you're up to something...TELL ME!" Karten remarked in a tone of suspicion narrowing his look on Terten who was inspecting his nails in a womanly fashion as if he wasn't listening.

"Are you even liste-" "I HEAR YOU!.." The sudden angry bark from the incarcerated man sent some of the guards, including Rosa jumping a bit in fright before Terten regained his calm composure and cleared his throat. "Yes indeed." The bespectacled former punong said with the blank expression on his mouth immediately widens into a big grin. "But considering i am here... in this cell... How can i possibly become a threat?"

"This is pointless..." Rosa muttered under her breath before she walked up to Karten directly in front of him. "I told you you're wasting your time. Come on let's go!"

"Not in front of me..." Said Karten who drove Rosa into his side still determined to get answers from the man who obviously won't cooperate.

"You feel so threatened about me chief...." Terten said crossing his legs with the malicious grin still plastered on his face. "But to a normal person such fear is irrational. After all, you have me captured, why still fear me?"

"I have a feeling you're up to something...."

"But what is it?" Terten said inquisitively with the smile on his face still plastered making Karten think he was subtly mocking him.

"That's why i need you to tell me." Said Karten, it was these words that made the bespectacled man finally stand up from his seat and carry his chair right over to the spot of the glass which was nearest to Karten and sat. This sent spooks to some in the room, particularly Rosa who knew that Terten was behind a one way glass meaning only they could see him but he couldn't see them. The thought of how Terten could even know where Karten was sitting terrified Rosa, maybe he had eyes outside his cell?

"Listen..." Terten said in a voice so soft only Karten could possibly hear it. "People don't distrust each other for no reason. The reason why another person distrusts the other, even though on the surface they pretend to not know it, deep down inside they are very well capable of what the other person is doing based on the betrayals they have done over to the distrustful party over the past..."

He has a point. Karten thought. The chief has pretty much known what this man is capable of doing, in fact, he was a personal witness of this man's capabilities. Even though he was in prison before he came to power, he was still able to influence people like him to do his bidding. Maybe he could be doing the same one way or another to keep his little religion up in the surface alive. "That's the thing i like about you and one of the reasons i made you my security chief in the first place." Terten continued. The chief however, is clearly not impressed with this flattery. "You own a more powerful...no i wouldn't say powerful...but an above average version of this specific human instinct...Made it easier for me to purge this country of the unwanted because of you." Karten resisted the urge to punch the glass knowing he was manipulated but he used the thought of it being all but a memory of the past as measure to keep his emotions from flaring into an outright outburst. After the bespectacled man's done talking, he brings his chair back to where it was originally and sat once more to play a sad melody on the Piano.

"That's it...?" Karten said visibly dissatisfied. The smiling man simply gave a silent nod as he continued to play the piano.

"You're not going to tell me anything else?" There was no reply.

The foreign ministress rolled her eyes trying to carry the KK chief out of his seat but he won't budge. "I told you... the only thing he could threaten you with is to lure you into having a nonstop argument with this bastard. Let's go!"

"I suppose..." Realizing that he will get nothing more than empty grins and statements that will only infuriate him, Karten finally sighs and stands up. The entourage then left the room closing its lights leaving only Terten's small isolation quarters lit and boarded the train cart.

"Sheesh... what was that about?" Karten complained before he took a glance at the foreign ministress who appeared to be frowning.

"Let's just get out of here." She says as the cart begins to move forward on its tracks. Much of the trip was silent to the point Rosa and the chief had fallen asleep but a sudden jolt on the vehicle had woke up the foreign ministress.

"What happened?" Said Rosa. "How dare you interrupt me from my beauty sleep!" She remarked before she noticed the men had worried faces. "What's the meaning of this!"

"There's a problem madame Rivera..." Said one of the KK officers. "-I think we just left one of us behind." and this made the chief's and the foreign ministress's jaw drop.

"WHAT?!" Rosa said in shock looking over the track behind them she then became furious as she watched the KK guards doing nothing but simply looking at the tracks behind them. "YO! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" Rosa said face palming. "DO SOMETHING!" Only then did the KK agents started to act as they frantically rushed to the control panel of the train cart only to find nothing that could stop the train as Rosa simply looked on as the KK did their thing.

The foreign ministress then sighed in disappointment as the KK had failed to realize that the emergency break of the train cart was simply a red labeled box at the rear wall of the train cart. As the KK continued to act in panic behind her in the control panel, Karten simply looked on Rosa as she simply walked towards the box that was the emergency break and pulled the red lever. There was a clear look of frustration on her face.

The train then began to slow down until it stop a minute later, the entourage in the train cart then spot someone from the darkness running towards them. "I'm not going to lie to you..." Rosa sighed whispering to the chief. "I don't have to ask why the KK lost the war in Lebanon to SACTO." She noticed how Karten took this rather too calmly as he gave a blank nod before he walked up to the agent who just went on board and was panting for breath.

"TZUN!" Karten commanded making the panting agent immediately bolt up to stand to attention. "What do you think you were doing!"

"Paumanhin po..." The agent said still audibly gasping for breaths between words. "I think my shoe got stuck inside the rail Sir!"

"Identify yourself!"

"MAGAT (Major) Hapilon Estender Sir!" The agent cried still stiff in attention with his chin pressed back in and his eyes straight forward. Karten stood directly in front of the agent smiling taking off his cap. WHACK! The next thing the entourage knew, the guy was on the ground holding his right cheek in pain.

"COMPOSURE MAGAT!" Karten said before he signaled the crew to proceed the cart back to base.

Later

After the debacle at the interrogation, Karten had left for Campo Crame yet he increasingly started to notice that many of his subordinates were giving him bad looks. He questioned them yet all denied they were giving him bad looks because they had bad blood with him, but rather, because of stress. They're lucky. Karten thought. If this were the Hukbo, all of them would had been grounded to dust by their superiors. The Kk chief couldn't help but feel that there was bad blood for him from his subordinates and it had something to do with his leadership. Preparing for dinner with some officers of the KK, an adjutant of Timente himself came to visit his office.

"MABUHAY! I came to deliver news...." Said the adjutant after he saluted holding out to him an envelop with the seal of the punong himself. Opening the envelop, horror crept towards him making his blood cold after he saw the words "LETTER FOR RELIEF" in the golden paper that was inside the envelop. He knew what it was about, Timente wants him out of the KK.

He didn't need to read it and after dismissing the adjutant, he suddenly lost the appetite for dinner thinking his successor might make an appearance in his office and decided home would be a terrible place to be in considering his father, who was also a KK chief like him would have heard the news by then and would be obviously furious at this embarrassment to think that the son of the founder of the KK had failed to keep the KK to their bloodline. He thought of the idea of staying in the hotel but he figured out it would be a bad time to spend any money.

Image
Rosa's house, Pasay city
He decided that there is only one place he could be in.

Hearing the knocks at her door, Rosa quickly went up to open it. But she just got out of the shower so it would have been an akward sight for the former KK chief who saw that Rosa had only a tower wrapped around her torso and another one to wrap around her still dripping wet hair.

"Someone seems stressed out..." Rosa said with a smug as she leaned against the door frame and tried to flip her still wet hair sprinkling some water on the former KK chief's face which annoys him.

"GAH! Madame Rivera get some clothes on...." Karten narrowed his look. "As you wish your majesty..." Rosa playfully bowed in obedience as she shut the door to dress up. "Are you alone?"

"I'm alone... we can have a one night stand if your want. HAHAHA!" Rosa cheerily replied which makes Karten grimace a bit.

After putting dressing up to house clothes, Rosa then offered Karten to sit in her couch and he did making himself very comfortable immediately removing his combat boots and unbuttoning his uniform to keep cool himself down before he leaned back to the soft couch let out a deep groan the sounds mixed of exhaustion and frustration. "So, what brings you here?"

"There's absolutely nothing! I can't come up with any leads to what he's planning!" Karten complained.

"I wonder...." Rosa said as she went to find food in her fridge and got a big loaf of rice bread. "Wait, you're not talking about that Terten thing are you?" She said as she began to cut up the loaf and began spread peanut butter over the rice bread. Iced tea was also made by her and after she was done, she laid out the food on the table. "How can you even be sure he's planning anything?"

"I know him..." Karten said grimly. "Back at the interrogation, he was smiling gleefully, his face full of joy at his every confession about the revelation thing and how his plans were already in action. I've been with him for so long during the regime, he usually doesn't make a face like that unless he's really up to something. I believe if we continue to assume that he's not really up to something, we would be lying to ourselves..." There was a short minute of silence in the room.

"I have a theory..." Said the man. "Many years ago when Terten was imprisoned, he used certain agents to move in and out of the prison to keep the campaign of the National progressivist party going."

"Hmmmm..." I takes about a minute for the foreign ministress to grasp where he is going at as she snaps her fingers and closes her eyes trying to think of how it connects to this situation. "I know...where you're getting at! So you think Terten is in cahoots with certain people in keeping his crazy cult alive right?"

"Right!"

"But the question is Madame Rivera... Who?" Karten then leans back on the couch once again staring up the ceiling. "Who are his agents?"

"You could ask help from the criminal affairs department if you're asking for leads... It's pretty strange that the chief is the only one who would do all the investigation." Karten furrowed his brows after he just heard Rosa remind him of his current situation but he tried his best to shrug it off.

Karten just glanced at the food in front of him but with what had just happened with him, he doesn't feel like eating at all. "I'm full... but as for your idea, I have thought of it. Can i borrow your laptop? Let's get to work!"

Rosa then yawned as he just stared at Karten who immediately grabbed the laptop she gave him and started typing a request form for an appointment with the director of the criminal affairs department of the Kalihiman, Trisha Rodriguez. Eventually, Rosa fell asleep on the couch. Karten meanwhile had spent much of his time throughout the hours that followed making the letter as convincing as possible. Trisha hates him for some reason so he's going to have a hard time to convince her by casually asking.

Even when Karten realized he was still up in 1:30 in the morning (he couldn't help but procrastinate from his work with all the game Rosa has in her computer and course, porn which at one point in the night had almost woke Rosa up because he didn't realize the volume was at full blast and thought that the earphones were connected to the computer but luckily had paused the video before it could wake anyone up). Eventually, he finished his letter and saved it when it was already 3:00 in the morning but he found himself not wanting to sleep.

Wanting to see the stars, he then decided to walk outside Rosa's house trying to be as silent as possible as he tiptoed outside. But as soon as he got out, he realized it was raining so he decided to stay inside but looking towards the living room, Rosa was no longer there. What made the situation even creepier is that the room had its lights turned off and he doesn't even know where the switch is located.

He simply felt his way through the darkness hoping he would not step on legos or tacks. It would be a good time to regret taking off my combat shoes. Karten thought. After struggling through the darkness which is the living room and the hallways, she heard the sound of something pounding on what seems to be a wooden cutting board. Feeling the door frame into another dark room, he assumed this ,ust be the kitchen as he smelled condiments and the heavy stench of grease. Sheesh, Rosa never cleans her kitchen. He thought. Sounds of heavy breathing filled the dark room and the man couldn't help but begin to sweat even though it's cool inside, he knows the heavy breathing is not his. Having enough of this creepy sound fest, he slowly feels his way out of the kitchen and through the dark hallway.

"Wait the minute..." Karten frowned. "Madame Rivera? Ikaw ba iyan?" He asked stepping back into the kitchen.

"Hinde." A deep voice said. A man's voice. He knows there's no one else at home. He suddenly feels panic and frantically feels his way again through the hallway. MY GUN'S AT THE COUCH! He was literally screaming at his own thoughts. As he was through the dark hallway, he feels himself bump against something...or someone.

After backing out a bit, suddenly, the lights were on. It was Rosa. "...I heard that too." Rosa said with a frightened look on her face.

"Go get my gun over there at the couch...silently." Karten instructed as he looked back at the still dark hallway suddenly, the woman in front of him was laughing hysterically.

"HAY NAKU! THIS IS PRECIOUS! You honestly thought that was me?" Karten was clearly not amused. "Hey... come on... it was funny... Now you know i can imitate voices." She said trying to cheer the man up by punching on his shoulder. "Boop..boop."

Rosa realized the guy won't really laugh so she stopped and thought of something that he might be interested in. "Ah! I know... I fixed the gramatic errors and typos in your letter. Sheesh, you had an entire night and you couldn't even do it right? What were you doing back then?"

"Ummm..." Karten looks towards his side as he knows he spent 90% of his time procrastinating.

"You don't need to fret over sending it, i already did." Rosa said. "Yes, but tomorrow, we'll go straight up to a person i know would be of great help to us."

"Trisha Rodriguez, head of the Kalihiman?"

"Yup."

"Okay... Now let me ..." The woman stretched his body as he yawned. "Go to sleep."

"Goodnight.." Karten then leaned back on the couch as he stared at the ceiling.

The following day

The two, dressed in formal tuxes and office clothes who had taken the taxi decided it was a wrong choice considering something's going on making the traffic go nowhere for an hour straight. Traffic was smooth from Pasay and to Quezon initially but by the moment

"I something going on?" Karten asked the driver who was clearly irritated by what's going on. "Tertenites... They have taken over the streets. They're using the streets to protest about bringing Terten back into power." The two then leaned narrowed their looks as they began to notice that there far beyond the line of cars and motorists, there were indeed people protesting.

"Gagi..." Rosa cussed. "Even in Commonwealth Avenue, are they everywhere?"

Karten then went out of the car and climbed above the Taxi ignoring the driver's protests. "Madame Rivera...."

"Yes?" Rosa said as he popped her head of of the window of the taxi. Karten sighed. "I think we're gonna have to walk through."

"WHAT!?"

Image
"We have no choice."

Rosa groaned and decided to leave the taxi. The two made their way through the cars jumping over the roofs of the vehicles when necessary ignoring the protests and the hostile reactions of the motorists. Some of the motorists didn't mind as they saw what was beneath Rosa's skirt who was jumping over them. The two finally reach the protest line which was barely being contained by the KK with some managing to break through the barricade of officers with law enforcement shields.

"TERTEN! TERTEN! TERTEN! TERTEN!" The thunderous chants emanated from the crowd and echoed throughout the streets. Karten meanwhile turned to Rosa. "Madame Rivera..." He had a worried look on his face. "We'll have no choice but to break through this chaos. You're gonna have to keep close to me and never let go of my hand understand?" Rosa nodded in approval but looking in the crowd, she's afraid of what might happen.

Finally, the mob broken the KK human barricade which sends the people loose in a violent riot. All around them, smoke, screams, molotovs, boots, shoes, combs, bags, anything that could be used as projectiles were being flung by the protesters towards the direction of the policemen. The tanods in turn, fired teargas canisters. Karten kept his grip to Rosa's hand so tight to the point it will hurt but Rosa was too frightened to notice. Karten then used his left hand to grab his KK badge which he held up in the air making the KK agents prevent firing canisters at them with some standing at attention amidst the chaos.

"At ease mga katanod!" Karten cried as they made their way through the smoke and the people fighting each other.

"Grabe..." Rosa mumbled. "This is...terrifying."

"I know... which is why never let go of my hand. This is a civilian battlefie-ROSA DUCK!" Before Rosa could respond, Karten pulled her down until they were both flat on the ground as a large kwitis rocket zoomed overhead them.

"PESTE!" Karten cussed as through the smoke ahead of them, a large mob was charging towards their direction. "Get up! Get up!" They quickly went up and started to run towards the side to avert from the stampede but it seems they were also charging from the direction they were heading. They didn't need to head to the other side since they also heard and felt another mob charging from behind them. They were surrounded.

"NEVER LET ME GO MADAME RIVERA!" Karten was had to literally scream as the noise was so loud while Rosa could only let out a squeak. "Yes!"

Wave after wave of agitated and angry people went past through them each of them carrying placards which had the tesseract symbol, batons and other blunt instruments as they charged forward. Karten then tightened her grip on Rosa but through the current of people, she could barely keep on. Suddenly, there was a batch of people who noticed Rosa. "IT'S THE FOREIGN MINISTRESS! HAVE HER HOSTAGE!" "Grab her! Grab her!" Some were spitting on

"What?" Karten was at shock. "NO YOU FUCKS! LET GO OF HER!" He said as Rosa had to use her right hand to cover herself from the people who were trying to hit her. "Stop that you psychos!" The woman hissed as he tried to kick them away but to know avail. Karten decided to let go of his badge in his left hand to punch the people while kicking the people who was hurting the woman. After they were done with , he used both of his hands to grab Rosa towards him until he's got her on both his arms. Karten then wrapped his arms around Rosa and turned around to shield her from the waves of people which glanced past them until they were suddenly scattered by a spray of water coming from the side of the KK.

And they were gone, dispersed. The KK then approached them and lead them to the ambulance to treat their wounds which they didn't even knew they had because they were made numb by the terror of the riot. Smoke still fills the avenue and the KK begins to clean up the area before they open it up seconds later for traffic. The foreign ministress meanwhile tried to make glances towards the KK chief who was holding a cold compress on some of his bruises. "Did they hit you?"

"Nah... it doesn't hurt at all." Karten denied before he turned away to say "Ow..."

Rosa meanwhile began to chuckle and bowed her head. "I'm sorry for your... badge." She said as she gave him the crushed patty of metal and torn leather that was his badge.

"Nah... "

"You didn't have to drop that thing you know... i know self defense." Rosa said making Karten roll his eyes. "If i let go of your hand earlier you would had been stomped by all those people." There was an awkward silence before Karten decided to speak. "Alright, i think it's time to go to Campo Crame..."

"You know.." The bespectacled woman says between soft giggles. "I found something." She says holding out two wallets from her pockets and opens it up to reveal cash. "What do you say we go to Jollibee after this?"

"What?! Rosa that's stealing!" Karten protests slapping the back of Rosa's head.

"OW! I found it at the riot area... it's their fault they dropped it anyway. So we keep it!"

"No... Give me that." Karten says snatching the wallets from her hand. "I'll return it at once then we'll go to Campo Crame..."

"Fine... you annoying KJ..."

Campo Crame annex 2, the headquarters of the Kalihiman

I'm still the chief, but with that letter, i barely feel i'm still in charge. Karten had these thoughts going on his head as the building of Campo Crame came into their view. Nevertheless, i am still in charge so i should make the most out of this to find out the truth.

Upon entering the Camp, Rosa and Karten had to pass by many greetings of "Mabuhay!" and clenched fist salutes. Though they recieved eyefuls from several others who noticed their torn clothes and several bruises. Karten then noticed that a part of the place was a construction site, apparently, Trisha wanted to build a wall to separate the Campo Crame into two camps, one for the Kalihiman and one for the KK. Karten understood what was happening, she wants to stay away from the KK as much as possible.

Numerous personnel had asked them for their identification cards and other papers but Karten simply shrugged them off using the simple phrase of "don't you recognize me?" to override most of these personnel's authority but as for the reception area, the receptionist did not give in to the phrase and had told to wait just like the rest of the Asigna party officials who had tried to use their position to cut in the long line so they had wasted 30 awkward minutes while waiting and to make it even more awkward, the two were strangely silent towards each other each of them trying to think of a topic which would interest them mutually. The two however decided to remain silent fearing they would make the wait even more awkward by bringing up a topic which would potentially be out of the other one's interest.

Rosa however was visibly anxious thinking of many things such as her future, Terten and his awkward meeting. She decided this could be a topic of conversation.

"I-I feel stressed." Rosa mumbled but the crowd around them was too loud for Karten to hear her. "Ano?"

"I feel stressed... Stressed ako.." Rosa said having to leaning to Karten's ear and raise her voice so that it could pierce through the background noise.

"Oh!..." Karten nodded only to remain back to silence as he continued to awkwardly stare at the crowd. Rosa couldn't help but grin. A normal person would have asked why? She thought but suddenly she felt herself blush in embarrassment after thinking what she said was simply an unnecessary gesture as it would be natural for everyone to be stressed at this point given the investigation and all that. To keep herself from falling asleep in the boredom, she decided to log in to Punch through her phone.

"...Why?" Karten asked leaving Rosa raising her brow at the man's late response.

"Well...first off, i still think it's my fault your badge got destroyed and then i had a fight with several of my co workers and then Timente wants me replaced-" "Wait YOU TOO!" Karten interrupted which surprised Rosa for what he said.

Image
Trisha Rodriguez, head of the Kalihiman
"What do you mean you too?"

"I... have my own problems. But it's just the regimes fault... don't worry."

Upon hearing the receptionist call their name, the two were then allowed to proceed to an office which belonged to the person they were waiting for, the chief of the Kalihiman herself, who was filing her nails.

"Yes?" The Kalihiman chief said as the two entered the room.

"We request help from the criminal affairs department." Karten said as they sat on the two chairs in front of Trisha's desk.

"I've received your letter." Trisha smiled. "But i'm afraid that investigation on the case would not be needed."

"What? Why not?"

"The Blanco and the Braso will be taking over investigation on the tesseract cult case. It's a matter of national security." She smiled again.

"You don't understand. Terten might be personally directing this cult." These words only made the Kalihiman chief chuckle and continue on filing her nails. "He's dead." She blankly replied.

"What?" This time, even Rosa was surprised. "But..." Rosa said. "We just interrogated him 3 days ago."

"That was 3 days ago..." Trisha smirked. "2 days ago...There was a massive underground earthquake that caused the collapse of the caverns and X ray scans show that even Terten's little cell has been crushed." Trisha then pressed buttons on her keyboard and a holographic 3 dimensional cross section of subterranean Manila which shows what happened before the 'quake' and what happened after.

"The public information bureau has already announced Terten's death... perhaps you were deaf." Trisha said which makes Karten grimace. The KK chief felt his blood run cold and shook his head in disbelief. "This can't be." He whispered.

"How can those Tertenites still become a growing cult if he's dead?"

"None of your concern." Trisha says making a hand gesture that's telling them to leave which infuriates the two of them.

"I WAS FROZEN TODAY!..." And this caught Trisha's attention who dropped her file. Karten cleared his throat and continued. "...i fear...both of us had survived a riot, wasted our time with Terten and you're mock my dedication for this investigation? I'm the chief of the KK and i would know... what is the security concern of the bayan!"

"I believe..." Trisha retaliated. "That's none of your concern Gin'ong Karten... I believe your investigation is nothing more than a facade to regain your credibility as the chief of the KK. Which is why i wouldn't be the one listening since you have credibility and there's no way you're getting it back with your horrendous theories of Terten giving orders through his cell which is locked up a kilometer deep underground through a single 1 hour long railway which are the only way to connect him to the outside world...isn't that right Gin'ong Karten... or should i say 'former KK chief'?" Trisha smiled. "I know anyone in your position could be desperate to ask for contrition..." The Kalihiman chief then popped a candy in her mouth and began to chew. "...But the problem with you is that you're too desperate...you have to move on that your forces' defeat with SACTO is something that you should pay for... Now leave my office."

The two reluctantly obeyed.

Walking down the staircase which leads up to the Kalihiman building, Rosa thought of comforting Karten but before she could even do so. "Before you think of comforting me i'm going to tell you- OH WHO AM I KIDDING!" Karten dropped on his knees before he slumped to the ground .

Rosa couldn't help but sigh as she sat on the staircase beside Karten simply looking on the dejected face of the man in front of him which stood up and went down on a sitting position on the staircase too. "You didn't tell me they were going to remove you." Rosa said.

"They already did." Karten gave a sullen reply.

"This just doesn't make sense."

But Karten had enough. "I'm going home." He said as he started to walk away. Rosa however held him by the wrist stopping him. "Why are you stopping me?"

"No!" Rosa said. "It's not over. You can't just give up...Chaos is going to come in this nation and we might have the lead to why's that the case."

Karten took a moment to think before he smiled but this smile wasn't off joy or playfulness, rather, it was of surrender. "Why is that Rosa? TERTEN'S DEAD! We have no leads.. I'm finished." Looking to the side, he continued. "And they're right... I was so fixated on this nonsense of an investigation because i was desperate to save my carrier. But after the last war? Why would i even bother?"

"Perhaps..." Rosa whispered under her breath before Karten's hand slips from her grip and he walks away. The foreign ministress simply watches as he proceeds towards the line of taxis across the wide avenue.

"Sheesh... you're terrible at giving advice." The foreign ministress gripes under her breath as she goes towards the restroom. "Why did you say 'perhaps'...why can't you just shut up?" Across the hallway, some people notice her talking all by herself but she's too frustrated to her own self to even notice. She then bumps into a man who is running in a hurry dropping his items and his spectacles all over the floor. "Ah! Sorry! Sorry! Pasensya po..." He says as he picks up his stuff messily piling them up on his hand and then runs off not even minding the pieces of paper he leaves on his trail.

"Uh..excuse me." Rosa says as she proceeds to pick up the papers on the floor which is enough to make a thin book. "SIR!" She hurries along the hallway but sees the man makes his way through the crowded exit security and disappear through the crowd in the gate of the camp.

"You drop this..." Rosa screams but to no avail. "Whatever this is..." She decides to inspect the papers as she searches for a spot nearby where she could sit. "Nah... Never mind. It's his fault he dropped this anyway."

CLONE PROJECT
Rev project Test #446

Observations: Subsequent tests of the 440th have shown progress. Cancerous anomalies have decreased in nature resulting in decent subjects that have shelf lives of 30-40 years, a far cry from the previous 100 tests which could only be sustained for 5 years. The abnormal to normal ratio of Tertenoid production have also decreased from 7:10 abnormal to 2:10 abnormal. All abnormal creatures are immediately subjected to molecular deconstruction to prevent contamination.

"What the..." After that interesting read, Rosa scans a few more pages and takes a few minutes to process everything that she had just read. Revelation. Clones. Decoys and most of all... Terten. I have got to show this to Karten Jr. She thought before she sprints towards the crowd in the security and manages to break through before she slides down the rail bars at the staircase to give her a quick way to the bottom. Grabbing her phone, she immediately dials Karten's number but luckily, she sees him across the street still waiting for a taxi.

"Alex! Alex!" She shouts from the top of her lungs as she ignores the passing cars and sprints through the street almost being hit by a truck and a bus. "Madame...R-Rivera?" Karten looks to his horror and surprise seeing the foreign ministress running towards her and almost being hit by a bunch of vehicles who shout insults in return.

"I have to show you something." Rosa says as she shows the papers she is holding on his hand.

Moments later

"I can't believe this..." Karten shakes his head in disbelief and surprise. "Looks like this guy's much more far off than i thought.... Who did you get those files from?"

"Doktor Darwin." She says recognizing the bespectacled nerd whom she had bumped into earlier.

"Isn't that guy the head of the science team?" Karten asks. "I have another...theory. And it's much more far off than i have ever imagined. Before we pay a visit to this minister of science... we would have to pay a little visit to the cell."

It was late afternoon and dusk was approaching. Back at the supreme court building, the crowds still there surrounding the building but this time, they weren't shouting protests, rather, they were having a prayer vigil with candles and torches being lit. The KK meanwhile was delivering Terten's supposed body wrapped in a bloody cloth through the crowd as they were putting him in a vehicle which apparently headed for the morgue. Raised fists were being held not only by the Tertenites, but also by the thousands who were also there. The two simply dismissed them.

"Wouldn't it be funny to say if that's not going to be the last time Terten will die?" Rosa chuckled but Karten, as always, didn't even laugh as he kept a determined face. Entering the building and into the basement, Karten could already smell the thing that he was suspecting.

"Just as i thought. Gunpowder." He says. "They blew this place up...the entire cavern to cover their tracks...They want us to think that Terten is no longer a threat so the only Terten that we ever knew was killed, with tons of gunpowder." He says as he goes toward the room which once lead to the cavern.

"For the one of the world's greatest intelligence organizations this is quite incompetent." He said. "Alright... now we pay a visit to this guy...pointing towards the Darwin's name in the file."

FORMER PUNONG ERIN TERTEN DEAD AFTER UNDERGROUND PRISON COLLAPSE

Image
Metro Manila, bayan. The man who has lead the country for 7 years is now dead after an subterranean earthquake had shook the foundations of his prison cell which was located underground crushing him, the Aklan-KK chief, Jezreel Quijanto said on a live announcement to the TFC. Several thousand people have gathered towards the supreme court building to see his body being lead away from the location where the unfortunate event happened towards the Morgue to prepare it for proper burial.

"We know this man has done many things but in essence, he is a great man." Interior Ministress Faye Kabil said on a public announcement. "He will always remain to be one of the most positively controversial figures not only our nation's but also in the world's history." She said referring to the controversial foreign policy that was undertaken by the Philippines during the duration of his nearly 8 year administration which includes invading several countries, initiating a stalemate against SACTO, an anti communist alliances which he created also known as the "Axis powers" and his previous usage of the Chinese and communists as scapegoats of his political rhetoric.

He was also credited for the industrialization and militarization of the Philippines which came at the expense of the country's democratic institutions by turning it into a dominant party state. He declared war on SACTO over his decries of the Conservatization Burma and Chucara as well as the Maronite church affair which ultimately lead to his administration's downfall and his last appearance was marked with the establishment of a cult centered on the belief of "4 dimensional beings" coming to him to "proclaim mankind's future under National Progressivism".

Punungan palace

Image
Thunder and lightning flash through the capital city late in the afternoon as a low pressure area had been reported above Metro Manila and the surrounding areas. Several scores of lightning strikes struck directly on the Punungan tower at the Fort Sentro making eerie spectacles for the surrounding onlookers to see in awe. The party at the punungan palace was over and was regarded to be "fruitless" and ultimately useless other than being a show of the bayan's political and economic might. Timente declared, he had achieved his goals to capture the reputation that the bayan was still capable and was still a great power.

Timente's punong office (Currently)

Several officials of Timente's inner circle gathered around the office. KK and Kalihiman agents had been deployed to protect every vicinity of the Fort Sentro square, around 1,200 to be exact taking their posts and patrols on rooftops, rooms, hallways and in vehicles.

Timente meanwhile at his office giving out orders from his government control panel, a flat holographic laptop like device recently developed by his regime to execute orders towards the several ministries such as being able to type a communique so he could send a letter personally to other countries' foreign ministries without having to wait for the foreign ministry. "Hmmm... Whiteshore has declared martial... send a statement that we support this... Azenyanistan requests aid to their development.... send in the technocratic advisory detachment package deluxe... BABEL meeting location is finally decided upon..this is rich. Proceed with the meeting."

As he continues to give orders, a certain person comes in his office after making a few knocks. "Timente..."

It was the well known bespectacled man. Still alive contrary to what many had been told. However, only those who were inside this room had known this. Well hid snipers were all around Metro Manila ready to execute all those who were eavesdropping this well guarded secret.

"Terten..." Timente said. "It's good to have you back."

"You told everyone else i was dead... good one." He smiled as he sat on the spinning computer chair. "We need a prophet... A martyr." "Someone with a credible reputation. Someone who is fit to sway the billions."

Adriano then thought. "I think i know of a person in mind." He says holding out the picture of the familiar W***********, A******** **********h. "Fascinating. The ultimate psy ops operation. But we would need a bit of character development." He says.

"As men... we change the world." Terten holds up a clenched fist salute, apparently, he has put a new meaning on this gesture, world domination.

"...THE WORLD!" The rest in the room thundered as they held up the same clenched fist salutes including Timente.

"We'll have to wait for Babel to become successful enough and for your numbers to be sufficient for the revelation plan to be executed." Timente says.

"Does anyone know you have connections to this?" Terten says.

"Hopefully, no one. Or else, they will silenced." Timente smiles grimly as thunder flashes behind him.

Meanwhile outside, in a wide perimeter around the palace, spotlights were being flashed across the sky filling the sky with light. Certain weapons and missiles were being laid all around the palace. "Defensive protocol 5" they called it. When the two (or the thousands and one) will put forth their plan, their base of operations might become a battlefield.

Meanwhile from the distance, in a taxi headed for the ministry of science headquarters, Karten and Rosa simply look through the window towards the imposing structure which is the tower of the Punungan palace.

"I can't believe... our ultimate enemy... is them." Karten remarked as Rosa turned to the tower with a scornful look. "Whatever they are planning...it's not good and we must do our best to stop it."

Meanwhile through the underneath the jungles of Kalimantan, a giant factory rumbles through fabricating the needed amount of tools that will be used for the revelation.

Cipher Pol 9 HQ
Enies Lobby, Santei, Kirishima

Image

Junko Enoshima was director of CP 9 and was indebted to her childhood friend, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Pierre Joseph for getting her this position. She was going down a dark path during her domestic terrorist days and Pierre believed not only she deserved a shot at redemption but she was best suited in the nation to lead a reformed Intelligence Agency. While many in the government had negative reactions to the nomination and others wanting to report her past to the media, the current Dirigeant, Arata Kasuga was so much more accepting of her. He felt that her skills when channeled properly would be useful to her home nation. Junko recieving the offer of getting to torment people while payed so long as she does not torment Kirishima was too tempting to resist.

Junko sat in traffic on the NR 1 as she was leaving the capital city of Heiwa. This was a small downside to the Federal's government's commitment to infrastructure but she didn't mind as it meant more jobs and employment. She tuned into 102.5 one of the many Kirishinan ambient stations as the music came though the radio. She closed her eyes and smiled once again thinking about first getting the job. Oh how she use to consider blowing up HQ but...the amount of praise she been given, the medication she recieved, and this station kept her calm enough to fall in love with this nation. The party in control now was not the same government that was in charge when she was filled with hate and despair homeless. She was now a well known public figure who people appreciate for her work or her modelesque look. She finally arrived at HQ flashing her badge to get though checkpoints before parking her car.

She was late like usual with today being an important day with her organization looking into the death of Terten. Terten was like her just instead of being a stable madwoman he was just a madman. She personally knew that like her the probability of going out that way was slim to none and the probability that a nation with the tech and wealth would also have a prison which fails to an earthquake meant it was a measurable earthquake. Junko thought as she powered walked through the halls balancing files and her cinnamon tea with a disheveled blouse and hair. As usual most of the guys and and some of the girls looked at her either to take a peek at her disheveled blouse or the usual routine of just starring her down with lust in their eyes. Oh how much she loved it, it reminded her of ancient Kirishinan Kunoichi's who were masters of the Honeytrap via espionage, interrogations, or assassinations. In the back of her mind she was suppose to be the role model for all her female agents so lust induce starring is a mission accomplished. As she got to her office her slav- um secretary was awaiting her.

"Good Morning Enoshima-sama" Ayaka knew better than to say good afternoon to a late Junko. "The preliminary investigation you ordered over the phone is ready in the conference room." Ayaka added as Junko nodded and stripped out of her clothes in her office to put on her work attire and redid her make up. Once dressed up she finished her tea and fixed her hair. She turned towards Ayaka. ".....thanks for putting up with me and being my longest lasting Secretary.....Happy Birthday" Junko said awkwardly and giving a gift as Ayaka looked up in shock. Thanks Enoshima-sama....I didn't think you remembered. Ayaka responded. "Just don't get use to it." Junko replied with a grin before making her way to the conference room.

"Boys and Girls" Junko began as she walked in and plop on the seat. "I already know, he's alive if not then he is not as crazy and similar to me as I think he is. Now I just need the proof. " Junko added.

An agent stepped forward "Zhu Li sent over the necessary information from the Ministry of Science and Research." he declared as he handed over the files. Junko immediately noticed something off about the earthquake, the earthquake that killed Terten had strong P waves but lacks S waves. Junko stood up. "Explosion, it was a bloody explosion." Junko stated losing patience. "Put two and two together either the government assassinated him or the government got him out. Also government even in his death still love him."

A different agent spoke up. "Maybe somebody with connections broke him out with no connections to the government." he suggested.

'With geniuses like Doctor Darwin, trust me they would not say it's an earthquake." Junko replied. 'We just need the rest of the puzzle. Without alerting the government." Junko added.

"And how do we do that Enoshima-sama." the last unnamed agent asked.

"By paying a visit to the only person this government still trusts from the Bayan to team up with." Junko stated with a smile a she threw a folder on the table and a picture of Rosa Rivera could be seen. "I want Agent Yukimura there in four hours." Junko stated as the agents scrambled to make the necessary airline arrangements.

Here she was in Asigna Philippines. Kaede Kayano [Akari Yukimura] went though Airport security like a breeze and allowed herself a second to get used to the temperature. She brought some things from the gift shop before heading to a Kirishinan Hotel Chain to check in and put her stuff down before getting ready to work. Her first stop was a Kirishinan neighborhood in the capital where she went to a Hanako Belpois restaurant. Kaede went up on line. "Donc faim, je me sens dans l'ambiance pour les nouilles de porc avec la puissance de feu supplémentaire." The man behind the register nodded. "Anata wa koko de tabete imasu ka?" The man responded. "Īe, watashi wa machi o mite imasu!" Kaede responded as she payed and awaited her food. A while later her food arrived and she sat down eating her noodles refusing to open the aluminum foil wrapped garlic bread. She then went to the counter and asked for the rest of the food to go. 45 Minutes since she first walked in the restaurant she walked out now discreetly armed with a pistol.

Now five hours after departing Kirishima Kaede was now in Pasay city outside of Rosa Rivera's house noticing no one was home.....and lacking a phone number. Remembering her training Kaede looked around before noticing an open window and a ladder on the side of the building connecting to it. Kaede smirked. If CP 9 may not be a top 10 Intelligence agency but their agents were all fit and to become a field agent, one must have to at minimal be knowledgeable in Judo, free running and Parkour. With the area being dark and not crowded she scaled the the ladder, leaped onto the roof of Rosa's place and slipped though the window. She knew what she needed and while scavenging found Rosa's cell number. Before picking up Rosa's unused phone Kaede did a bug check of the place. Once satisfied she picked up one of her disposable phones from the agency and set the caller ID to Rosa's house phone before calling.

"Hello Rosa, right now over the phone who I am is not important but I was told that you are the one Satsuki Kiryuin and the current Kirishinan government trusts. We noticed something odd about...recent events and I would like your help in getting to the bottom of this. Of course I have useful information of my own if you have any questions. Care to meet up." Kaede also heard someone in the background. "We do not need to meet me alone." Kaede called waiting for the response.

Hadesas, WPT.

Klaus sighed. He was just called to go to Asigna, which he had hoped to avoid. He was hoping that James guy who spilled coffee on him, even if it was a accident, would be going to the unstable wreck of a nation. He walked up to a coffee store he was already at and walked straight up to a cashier, before asking for a black coffee. He got it, and was on his way. He got into the driver seat of his car, before muttering "I did this to get money, not sent to work with couped governments."

After a few minutes, he was at his destination. The airport. A crew of eager officials were already waiting for him, and he noticed that he was traveling on a private jet. It was one of the better ones, and he was happy with it. He boarded the plane, and set off. He wasn't exactly eager, but this was important, after all.

New Petrograd

The reaction to Terten's death was mixed with Progressive Socialists and most of the Civic Forum's members posting condolences to Terten while the rest of the Civic Forum and half of the moderate conservatives not caring, while most Conservatives were celebrating Terten's death as Ivan Dragonov, leader of the MAW and a favorite for the Conservative nomination declared that God had decided to smite the Satanic force in Manila. This energized Whiteshorian conservatives as well as Dragonov's popularity rose among Conservatives and particularly among the hard-right faction.

Styxia

In a small concrete room beneath the massive government complex that dominated the city, the leading members of the Bureau of Science and Human Advancement were meeting to discuss the affairs of the Republic and the world beyond. The chamber was dimly lit, with only a single lightbulb illuminating the faces of the most powerful people in the country.

"Premier Seraph, as you know we have been monitoring the activities of the Philippine Bayan for some time now..." Began Alexander Knight, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

"And?" Asked the Premier, annoyed that the minister had trailed off in mid sentence.

"Events are accelerating, Terten's death has not stopped what he set in motion."

"Excellent. It would be a pity if all this collapsed when we are ready to begin our own campaign of globalisation." Smiled the Premier, relieved that all his hard work had not been for nothing.

"Of course, we do not know that he is truly dead." Interrupted the Minister of Defence, Anna Lake.

"That is very true, Minister Lake. After all, it wouldn't be the first time a political figure has faked their own death." Nodded the Premier. "Of course, if he isn't dead, he will likely reveal himself soon. And if he does, I want the Republic to be ready."

"It will be, Premier. It will be..."

PUNANGAN PALACE
MANILA, ASIGNA
Sometime later that evening

Charles Landford read over the communique once more, seated in the diplomatic towncar as it rolled through the majestic streets of the capital of Asigna, the buildings rising either side as sheer cliffs of glass, steel, and stone.

"'Please come quickly. We have a lot of things to discuss', eh? Sounds urgent. I can't imagine this is good news." he said, stroking his moustache with forefinger and thumb as he read the tone over. His chief bodyguard, Centurion Lani Macaw, looked back over her shoulder from the passenger seat.
"No need to be so negative, eh? Maybe things are looking up in the Bayan. Think of that did you?" she remarked, her voice placid and soothing.
"Hmm. On the face of it, you're not wrong Lani. Terten is reported dead, so perhaps Timente will actually have a shot at building more moderate and modern government. But then there's this nasty business with these tesseract rioters....government officials harassed in the streets, cries of 'Terten, Terten!' everywhere you go. I'm not so sure. Best keep a sharp eye out, what?"

The cars pulled up to the Punangan Palace, stopped smoothly in front of the wide forecourt, their headlights shining against the dark buildings and bright marble. The doors swung open and the team of six Brytisc marines, wearing diplomatic white-red shoulder pauldrons, stepped out, followed by Landford and his assistant, a young woman with Slavic features.

The group made their way towards the palace as requested, heading inside to meet with the representatives of the Foreign Affairs Directorate.

New Jakarta, PRAA

It was not a very good month.

Overall, the stance regarding Asigna Philippines' government is quite...quite well. After all, PRAA always prefers the more militaristic or aggressive government than to the bunch of democratic people who think they knows the best. But with the recent democratization in PRAA itself, it soon dawns that being democratic won't do any good to them as well. It definitely didn't sit well with the current climate. Supporting SACTO won't do any harm and good, but supporting progressive is a suicide. For now, we observe. Terten's death didn't sit well, but since they have no involvement in Asigna's political affairs, we didn't acted.

Generalissimo Conrad Lugas took a seat at his office with his prime ministers and his General Chief Adviser. Discussing recent developments in Asigna Philippines'.

"It's quite well, sir. Our embassy will be staffed with our own soldiers once we get permission to. As for our citizens there, there's still little to no conflicts. But soon war will be happens, and we have to pick side." said Maymor Karatnov, his General Chief Adviser.

"Mobilize our military in case something happens. Prepare extraction force for the citizens. We won't intervene for now, but we will observe first." said Generalissimo as he took a sip from his cup of coffee. It's bitter, just like life.

"Can I get some more sugar? It's too bitter." And the meeting continued.

Part 1/2 - The beginning of total bloodshed

Administration building, Bucharest, Romania

The settlement barangay around the administration building
Much of Bucharest was a construction site, in the 2 kilometer vicinity around the former palace of the Soviets, now called simply as the "Administration building", a new settlement was being built by the Romiran bayan. This entire settlement was part of Gobernador Heneral Raul Davis's plan of urban renewal and expansion to allow the city to be able to accommodate not only Romanians but also other members of the bayan who are expected to emigrate to this new Urban center. A lot of things in the bayan was changing within Adriano's rule. Davis had recently been granted the title of "Don" (Lord) by Punong Timente himself, who had been eyeing on installing nobility in the bayan ranks in accordance to the vision which he had in mind and brazenly declared in a recent meeting with his council of ministers days ago, "The bayan..." he said, "...should be united not only by ideology, but also by common heritage." His vision of a "common heritage" had included creating an empire and a new national identity simply known as "the bayan" which transcends over what he described among his inner circle as the "backward" cultures of Filipinos, Thais, Indonesians, Malayans, Romanians, Yemeni Arabs and others within the current Philippine bayan.

Bucharest had also seen a large influx of migrants from all over the bayan, aside from those who just came simply because they were part of the Hukbo, Filipino businessmen, entrepreneurs, missionaries and workers from all walks of life left for the new structure around the administration building which was called the Bucharest settlement Barangay, a large structure twice the diameter of the Pentagon building at Washington D.C. which was 250 meters in height. The inside is like that of a large indoor city complete with pavilions, production centers, business districts, concession areas, roads, rooms, entire villages and railway stations. This structure was not however, only made for residential and commercial purposes for it also was the military brain center of the entire Romiran area although much of the military infrastructure was, just like the new hall HUKSABAPI HQ back at Zamboanga city, hidden underground.

The recently turned Don, Davis, sat at the very edge of the settlement, which had no safety bars yet, looking unto the serene vista around him, the city he ruled, Bucharest for more than 2 years now. Looking below, protesters had massed in the hundreds on several parts around the construction site, all of them decrying the construction as a "bastardization of the city's heritage". Beside him, Basanes, his long time secretary simply smirked.

"It is quite pathetic on our part that we are not able to convince some people to side on our projects even though we have tried our best to tell them of the benefits or how much we say its necessary for development."

"It is not the concrete reasons that bother them. It's rather, the inconcrete reasons that bother them. They refuse to side with us because our mere existence reminds them that they, Romanians are a beaten people and this building is the shining beacon of our oppression to their idea of community."

"We must do what it takes to make them accept the bayan as legitimate, those who cling upon to washed up concepts of nationality and racial pride are bound to cause eternal division upon our species as the punong puts it."

"But we have to be careful on our approach, after all, people's pride are like rocks, the more bitter pressure is applied, the more they harden their hearts. Perhaps its their bitterness to the party is what is bothering them, after all, the Asigna party claims that it has established the bayan but majority of the party is mad out of Filipinos."

"What are you proposing?"

"We need to remodel the whole system by allowing non Filipinos greater opportunity into the Malacanang or the party. It is not the idealistic concept they are bitter off, its the dominance of Filipinos in the system that they are against."

The gobernador heneral shook his head as he took out a lighter and cigarette from his pocket and lit it. The woman's ideas were impressive, he hate to admit it as she was just a mere young person with empty dreams. "That's idealistic Gin'ang Basanes, the bayan has always been made of Filipinos, we must consider the dangers of letting non Filipinos infiltrate our administrasyon, they'll break us apart."

"With all due respect Gin'ong Davis..." The woman began to sweat. Whatever she was about to do might push beyond the boundaries in the relationship of master and subordinate.

"Enough!" Davis said as he brushed her words aside with just a gesture of a hand and to Basanes, with it, the bright future for the bayan. "Remember that you're a secretary, not a politician. Leave the policies to me."

The woman simply sighed discouraged at how nearly everyone in the party was like this, once they set their minds on something, they will never change it, even if the situation calls for it. "At least take measures for this discontent to not bother us in the coming war."

And at this, Davis spat out his cigarette. "War? Who told you that?"

"We didn't plan Operation Bagyong Bakal for nothing!"

"Bagyong bakal? Who the hell thought of that OPLAN?"

"Heneral Mei-" Suddenly, out of the blue, the bodyguard that was accompanying them pulled out his BA pistol and pointed at the unsuspecting gobernador heneral who was right in front of him with his back turned to him.

"GOBERNADOR HENERAL DAVIS! DEATH TO THE ASIGNA PARTY!" He cried firing a single shot directly at the man's back. Davis immediately collapsed to the ground while Basanes who answered to her reflexes swung her feet at the assassin's face and then pounced upon the attacker pinning her to the ground. She looked upon Davis who laying on the ground unmoving and bleeding.

"DAVIS!" She gasped in horror as several KK agents went on the scene rushing him to the nearest emergency center at the settlement barangay, which had luckily just been in its grand opening. Basanes worriedly trailed behind the stretcher of Davis as he was being carried away to be treated.

Adriano's house, Tagaytay, Kapitalia islands

News of Davis came out quick from the Bucharest settlement in Romiran. Once he was told, the punong, who was watering the plants had dropped the hose he was holding in shock. "Davis has been what!?"

"Shot sir..." Kabil replied. It must have been an unusual sight for the two to be seen in their house old clothing as the information secretary and the punong had been so used to seeing each other wear their party uniforms regularly.

"Yeah i know, you don't have to repeat that one...Have they figured out who's the assassin?"

"Some Romanian bodyguard. He's currently under questioning." Kabil then went through the tablet she had always been carrying with her reading through the reports she had typed in herself. Adriano thought, her constant unbreakable companionship with her tablet made it already impossible for her to be thought separately from the device as it has literally become a part of her. "It seems that they are part of a much wider group called the bayanista party, we don't know much about them, aside from the fact that they hate the Asigna party so much?"

Timente mused. "This could only mean one thing..."

"Yes my punong?"

In a grim manner he stated. "...a civil war is brewing." This was one of those rare times in which the punong had been seen without his usual good nature and humor as common to someone with the demeanor of a stand up comedian, now he sounded like a real commander who had no time for that kind of fun.

Kabil saw where this was going. "Should we proceed with a mass arrest sir of all subversives sir?"

"Not with Operation Bagyong Bakal not even executed yet no. Here's my order for this order of business, we're now to enter into a state of combat readiness."

"For the Kapitalia sir-" "For the whole bayan..." The punong interrupted.

"As for the attempted assassination on Raul, make sure not a word of it gets out, we don't want to cause an early collapse in our nation... Basanes will be gobernador heneral for now... Also.. summon all the nobles from all over the bayan."

"Yes my Punong.."

"As for me... i'm going to make a speech to distract the masses from the troubles in Bucharest."

Immediately, Asigna party members rallied in front of the Punungan palace in what seems to have been thousands in a video although this was only deception as only hundreds of participants had joined while the camera had made it look like thousands were attending. The punong then stepped out of the palace to welcome the cheering 'crowd'. "Mga kababayan ko..." He addressed.

"...over the many years, we have worked so hard to be able to reach out to the skies and make our bayan as it is now. With all these efforts, it is utterly senseless for us to leave these developments undefended which is why with the current threats surrounding the bayan, we are driven at all costs, to do what is just, to defend the fruits of our labor and the unity of this community in which we ourselves have instigated."

Meanwhile, back in Romania, Davis's attacker was immediately incarcerated by the Kalihiman into a hidden room within the administration building. The room was dark and poorly lit as the floodlight was only illuminating the prisoner's spot, who was restrained with steel braces that were holding him in his ankles and wrists to an iron chair that was fixed to the floor. After struggling for a while to no avail, the door to the room opened in which the prisoner saw silhouettes of a multitude of men coming in. At first, it was impossible to recognize them in the darkness before another floodlight had flashed to reveal a deadly attractive woman wearing the party uniform complete with makeup and lipstick while being surrounded by his female guards, who were far from her looks as they were muscular and had rugged gorilla like faces wearing read berets with the Phi logo, the logo of the bayan and a black long sleeved sweater while also armed with pads and bullet proof vests though one could clearly see underneath them was a muscular body complete with hulking arms which were holding their Bariaklan rifles.

"Good evening..." The sexy woman then stepped on the spot of the chair in between the prisoner's legs which were spread apart by his hesitance to fornicate the devils serving the bigger devils which was stepping on their country, the Asigna party. No matter how she was subtly trying to endorse her remarkably toned combat booted legs which was covered only to the waist with thin stockings underneath the mini skirt, he wasn;t going to buy it. He didn't recognize the woman at first although slowly, her appearance started to ring a bell, his mind is just finding it hard to look for her name somewhere in his memories and he knew he was trying to seduce him.

"Let me introduce myself as Trisha Rodriguez and allow me to say that i will be direct in saying that i will ask you who the mastermind of your plan for rebellion is." The woman narrowed her look as she bit her lips and went straight up to his face until they were inches close as if they were about to kiss each other.

Rodriguez huh? "Well... if it isn't the witch of the Kalihiman, Trisha Rodriguez..."

"Forget it, i'm not fucking this guy..." She spat before she gave a soft slap to her prisoner's face before leaning back. "I don't have time for banter, answer my question..."

"Like hell i will!"

Adriano meanwhile, continued to light fires in the hearts of the people of the bayan through his speech which was being broadcasted in national television. "...even if it means that i myself shall throw my life... if this was bayan's sovereignty was assured then even my own death would be worth happening."

Back at the 'chamber', as the Kalihiman calls it, Rodriguez resorted to asking in a warm and friendly manner but after not relenting, had resorted to using her guards to beating him. It then came to the point that his fingers were placed inside a machine which slowly bent it backwards until it gradually bent back into unhuman proportions such as how someone could fold a piece of paper flat with ease. The man tried to control his shrieks of pain at first but later submitted to constant screaming until his hand was made painfully numb making him burst into tears. "Painful isn't it? There's still... escape from all this suffering... Tell me who you work for..."

"NEVER!"

Trisha then turned towards her bodyguards who then pressed a button in the "hand folding machine" making the prisoner's right hand fold unto its back even more until noises of cracking bone and tearing muscle were being heard to the torturers' delight.

"...As of now... the bayan top down is being readied to its fullest potential for this coming struggle to defend it...."

Minutes have now passed, this unbearable pain could have broken anyone now. Rodriguez then proceeded to using machines to twist his foot 360 degrees, although they still weren't getting any answers, only blood curling screams of painful torment. "They're right, the soul of the Eastern European is not easy to break."

The man's screams of pain then took a change in tone as it transformed from that of pain into that of rage. This change in emotion was then reflected by the inhumanely vengeful look on the man's face. "Y-YOU BASTARDS!" The man hissed as his tried to struggle to make himself closer to Rodriguez. "THE BLOOD OF THE ASIGNA PARTY AND YOU FILIPINO NOBLEMEN WILL SPILL ON THE STREETS OF BUCHAREST!"

One of the guards then stated. "...I believe gin'ang Rodriguez, even the strongest metal could be liquefied. If his hard head was made of titanium, with proper heat, it will soften."

"...No traitor shall be tolerated! Not one who violates our sovereignty out of spite will be forgiven! For the sake of our survival everyone who stands in our way will be killed! As this holy struggle to defend this nation is the ultimate cause!"

At these words, people from all over the nation, especially those who were watching the speech being broadcasted publicly in giant screens and holographic projections in the sky stood in attention and gave their fanatic clenched fist salutes in the air.

The crowd in the televised rally roared in unison. "PATAYIN MGA TRAYDOR! PATAYIN MGA TRAYDOR!" (Death to the traitors!)

Back at the chamber, the agents had already ended his suffering with even more suffering as Lye was shoved down his throat making him vomit blood at the first moment before he began to throw up pinkish gellatinuous material. Those who looked on had speculated he was vomiting his inside which had been dissolved.

After a violent episode of vomiting and coughing of blood, the man then gave his final snort which made blood spray from his nostrils. It was all over for him. "...This is so sad Romanian..." Rodriguez looked on with a mixture of disgust and pity at the man's corpse. "You could have at least died a more honorable death of a soldier in the firing squad if you just told the truth."

"...MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS!" The punong then held out a clenched fist in the air which was then followed by the crowd before him who were pumping their fists repeatedly as they repeated their simultaneous chants.

"MABUHAY! MABUHAY! MABUHAY! MABUHAY!"
