Nation/Faction name: Laochra Pentarchy
Race(s): Human, orc, dwarf, and wood elf
Patron God(s): (May be none) Misneach, a large degree of the nation believes that Misneach is the only Ichor worth worshipping
Current Leader(s): Mainchin Dhiaga Keihatsu (first name, family name, clan name), Tentei of Laochra, the Orders of Misneach, Crusaders of Misneach, Council of Nobles, and the Bakofu (bureaucracy and also representatives of the guilds and people on the national level if the nobility and Orders fail)
Brief History: The Laochra Pentarchy began after the Great Calamity when Miseach became disillusioned with the world and helped guide his chosen people to the far east peninsula called Takusan. It was here that the Laochra under the guidance of the first Tentei, Aaron Tsulan Keihatsu, made their home though keeping to their nomadic lifestyle. They interacted greatly with the people who already called Takusan home many tribes of orcs and wood elves, along with some dwarf holds, called this peninsula home and their interactions with the Laochra varied greatly from peaceful trade and coexistence to warfare and enslavement. During the reign of the third Tentei, the last of the direct Tsulan line, compiled all the teachings of Misneach from varies holy men, sages, and shamans along with his own personal communion with Misneach assembled the Tomes of Misneach, a series of holy texts that outlined the primary teachings of Misneach and paved the way for the literacy and helped with converting many of the other tribes. Along with creating the Tomes of Misneach the third Tentei, only known as the Last Tsulan, he also oversaw the Great Exodus from the west of Takusan to the western coast of Takusan as they were forced out from continual raids by rival tribes. After the Great Exodus the seeds of the Pentarchy were sowed as the first monastic orders were created and the Laochra gave up their nomadic lifestyle for one of farming and herding. Over the years the various parts of the Pentarchy were created until it was fully formed and declared, everything codified into the Tome of the Pentarchy, by the seventh Tentei, Erin Vontor Keihatsu, and he was forced to codify this new government or face a rebellion amongst the nobles and Orders and increased independence movements of the Crusaders. The lowest part of the Tentei and the Laochra as a whole was under the ninth Tentei with the establishment of the Triumvirate during the Era of Turmoil, a military government established by outside invaders who rallied the unconverted tribes and conquered the Laochra, these 5 years were the only time that the Tentei throne was unoccupied. It took a great rebellion and the rise of the first of the Dhiaga Tentei, with this the Laochra Pentarchy was restored, the idols of the invaders were purged from the temples and monasteries, defenses were overhauled, libraries reopened, schools established all over the nation granting free education to all to a certain degree, and the Crusaders were given free reign in the western part of Takusan and beyond. While the Tentei was restored and reclaimed some of its old powers it wasn't until the twelfth Tentei, Octavian Dhiaga Keihatsu, that the majority of the old powers were reclaimed along with an attempt to reel in the emergent Crusader States of Northern Takusan which ended in failure and a humiliation for Octavian that he was only to overcome by becoming one of the Ascended. The thirteenth Tentei, Quill Dhiaga Keihatsu, saw a great rise in literacy, increase in the amounts of universities, the Great Temple of Misneach enlarged greatly, the first diplomatic contact with the outside world in the form of trading, a proto-scientific revolution, a reforming of the military, and economic prosperity and was dubbed the Reign of the Golden Tentei which ended with his Ascension two years ago to Misneach's side. Now the new Tentei, Mainchin Dhiaga Keihatsu, is a young warrior with monastic tendencies and very little political knowledge, he commands little respect among the Crusaders, or Nobles and the Bakofu have mixed feelings about him with only the Orders truly supporting him. The only thing to note so far during the reign of Tentei Mainchin Dhiaga is that defenses have been increased along with the navy being expanded.
Geographical area and key features: A combination of Japan and Ireland, steep cliffs cover the coasts with there only being several ports, each heavily defended and utilized. Forests and wide grassy plains are the most prevalent features behind the multitude of mountain ranges and even more hills. Rain is in plenty and the soil is very rich in nutrients, along with there being many mountain streams and a couple of rivers and minor lakes.
Map Claim: The far east peninsula on the mainland, the Crusader States hold all the land not claimed by the Pentarchy until they meet borders of other countries, borders between the Pentarchy and Crusader States are very fluid.
Other details: (i.e. government structure, military, preferred neighbours, interesting culture, use this section however you want)
The five aspects of government-
The Imperial family- The Keihatsu are the Imperial clan while the Dhiaga are the ones who hold the throne for the past four generations, the same line has ruled over the Laochra since the birth of the first Tentei the child of Sciath and Aslung who many believed became an extension of Misneach, fully connected to him and a part of him. This trait has seemingly been passed down the family line as each Tentei has been viewed as an extension of Misneach and a reigning god on Drinda. Though religiously they are very important their importance politically has fluctuated over the years but recently the Keihatsu has reclaimed their old powers and solidified their political power. Not only is the Tentei the political head and religious head he is also the head of the priesthood.
Orders of Misneach- They are all the monastic orders that profess primarily Misneach or only Misneach. They range considerably from small to large and wield considerable influence when it comes to knowledge, schooling, any type of education, and martial arts. While all recognized Orders of Misneach have monasteries within the Pentarchy this does not mean that they are confined to there as their works spread many far and wide spreading the worship of Misneach while never diverging the secrets of the Laochra. Along with their religious work they also oversee the school system, both the academic and martial aspects.
Crusaders of Misneach- These orders are Crusader States that have sworn oaths of fealty to the Tentei and recognize him as their secular lord as well as their religious lord. All the Crusaders in this category are military orders that spread the word of Misneach with the sword while also bringing with them many new aspects of civilization to normally uncivilized peoples, as was their primary function when they were created under the sixth Tentei Marvus Agrin to secure the northern frontier. They are sometimes known to hire their services out to other nations to help spread the word of Misneach, their only payment being opening up temples and monasteries in said lands and also make up a considerable portion of the armed forces.
Council of Nobles- Historically the Council served as an advisory body to the Tentei and at least 3/5 of the council is a part of the Keihatsu. Each noble rules a particular province and are in charge of the governance of said province but all taxes, unless granted by the Tentei, must be passed by the Council to assure that the people do not get over taxed. The Orders help balance out the power of the Nobles. They are the main legislative body, a power they share with the Tentei and the Bakofu. Each Noble must keep a standing army of 13,000 infantry of varying degrees, 5,000 cavalry of varying degrees, and 2,000 combat engineers or artillerymen.
Bakofu- The bureaucracy of Laochra and are in charge of implementing all laws into effect, the police force, weeding out provincial corruption, and the higher ups can vote on legislation giving them some political power. Alongside their more public roles they also act as the secret police of the Tentei and help to preserve the stability of the realm by weeding out followers of other gods, rebels, traitorous Crusader lords of the Crusader States and Nobles, and to preserve the righteousness of the Laochra.
During peacetime the army is constructing the basic infrastructure of Laochra along with other public works so that they stay busy and not cause problems.
Worship of one's ancestors is practiced regularly, as is filial piety. The Ascended are also worshipped and the place that they ascended to the side of Misneach is considered sacred ground where a shrine to the Ascended is built so as to tell people of the event that happened there.
There is a public education system set up to allow the majority of the population to be literate enough to be able to read the Tomes of Misneach and other books, though once a certain grade is reached families need to start paying for school though promising students from rich or poor families are taken to special schools where they are taught advanced academics and given the best military training possible.
Magic is used routinely in Laochra society and the military uses it to its peak efficiency when it comes to crafting armor and shields to help protect their men from harm though only members of the Laochra military and wealthy Noble retinues will be equipped with such armor. Crusaders would be equipped with a different breed of magical defenses that revolve around formations that help spread out impacts while individually their armor and shields, while magically reinforced, are not up to par with standard Laochra military defenses and can be broken with a little extra effort.
In the Laochra military shields are for group formations amongst run of the mill infantry men while going without a shield is seen as a symbol of skill, piety, and bravery. Those that go without shields are usually shock troopers, heavy infantry, swordsmen, medium and heavy cavalry, and warrior monks.
Helotism is practiced so any criminal that has committed a grave crime but not enough to warrant death will be made a slave to the state, this holds true to raiders, sackers, and bandits.

Nation/Faction name: Crusader States of Misneach
Race(s): Human, Orc, Dwarf, and Wood Elf
Patron God(s): (May be none) Usually only Misneach
Current Leader(s): Various Grandmasters, Daimyo's, and kings
Brief History: Since the foundation of the Crusaders by Tentei Marvus Agrin they have waged holy war on the rest of Takusan but they became the most successful after the defeat of the Triumvirate when the veterans of the revolt joined the various Crusader Orders and began systematically conquering the infidels in Western Takusan and beyond, though two decades into this resurgence cracks began breaking up the Crusaders united front and they soon turned into the chaotic mess of rival Crusader States seen today though there are six prominent States, the Brotherhood of the Misty Mountains, Knights of Wolf, Sword of the Way, Holy Kingdom of the Tomes, Poor Monks of the Great Defender, and the Wolves of Misneach that vi for power, though the multiple other Crusader States are not to be taken for granted as they are powerful in their own right and have some strong defenses. Now the Crusader States continue to war amongst each other but also continue on their original mission to spread the word of Misneach and to bring Laochra civilization to the uncivilized.
Geographical area and key features: Rolling hills, and grassy plains along with dotted sections of forests. Some rivers but most water is provided by mountain springs and rain. Mountains are very prevalent and the coast is much more accessible here.
Map Claim: The majority of the north of Takusan, above the southern peninsula.
Other details: (i.e. government structure, military, preferred neighbours, interesting culture, use this section however you want) The Crusader States of Misneach are by no means unified and are not under the jurisdiction of the Laochra Pentarchy, though they still pay a tithe to the Great Temple of Misneach.
Many Crusader States will hire out their armies to foreign powers in exchange for opening temples and shrines in their lands and allowing missionaries to enter into their land, when enemies are captured they are given a chance to convert before being sent back home as helots or executed.
The Crusader States war amongst each other as much as they war against infidels and heathens, though they are much more ritualized when they fight each other.
The quality of governance differs greatly between the States but State Bakofu's are the same throughout.
The type of soldiers and their quality is also varied between the States.
Because of they Crusade on the main continent the Crusader States have larger navies than the Laochra Pentarchy.
Cultural the Crusader States and the Laochra Pentarchy have much in common but some differences.

Isn't the hunt hidden though so they could theoretically be in the same place? Or they could be in the eastern half where the Crusaders haven't got to yet. Plus it's only 200 people and they mostly affect other people far outside their home so I don't think they need that large of territory. Thanks I plan on the Crusaders to be very much active in the conflicts on the mainland.

Name: Mainchin Dhiaga Keihatsu
Age: 19
Race: Human, connected with Misneach
Allegiance: Misneach, the Laochra Pentarchy
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Appearance:
Image

Occupation: Tentei
Personality: Quiet and somewhat headstrong when it comes to promoting Misneach
Weaknesses:
Zealot So fanatically devoted to Misneach that he will come off as standoffish in his conviction and will not adhere to the traditions of other Ichor unless specified by Misneach. He will be rude to followers of other Ichor or nonbelievers.
Blind He can't see at all and relies on all his other senses and the voice of Misneach.
Sheltered Life He has very little knowledge of the world outside of books, the capital city of Seito, and the varies monasteries. He is incredibly ignorant about government to though he does know the inner workings of the Pentarchy just not how to manipulate it.
Politically Isolated Has very little allies in government and his hands are tied on what he can do, the reclaimed powers of the Tentei are in danger of being lost again as his political enemies move to subvert his power.
Strengths:
Voice of Misneach Misneach speaks directly to him constantly and helps him during combat, guiding his body from harm and positioning him in areas for opportune strikes.
Monastic Training He is trained in the martial arts of many different schools and is incredibly skilled in said martial arts along with being incredibly intelligent.
Agile Incredibly quick, acts as if he already knows the attack before it comes and can catch an arrow in mid flight.
Sage Incredibly cunning and wise along with strong magic and mental defenses so powerful other Ichor can not break them. Has also memorized all the Tomes of Misneach
Special Skills and Defining Traits: Holds a naginata in which the blade is actually the rib bone of Misneach himself, a gift for the Tentei, only the Tentei or those Misneach deem worthy may touch and wield the weapon or they turn to ash. He's blind and if one was to remove his eye covers they would see grey glossed over eyes.
Bio: Born into the ruling family of the Laochra blind. His life has been normal for Tentei though he is a bit more sheltered than others as his father feared that his blindness would be off putting to the common people and political figures. He was incredibly dedicated to the Orders of Misneach from an early age and so he trained with them thoroughly for most of his life isolating himself from the other political factions. After the death of his father he rose to become Tentei at the age of 17 but wanted to continue his training and so for two years a regent ruled in his place as he continued his studies and grew ever more detached from the world, acting more like Yamabushi, ascetic mountain hermits, than a Tentei. When he was compelled to return to Seito by his uncle he was 19 years old and had very little allies in government and very little knowledge in the aspects of governance.

His soul would still need to go through the underworld and be sorted like all the others. Even then he is probably gonna go and be punished for a very long time you won't be seeing him for a while. Bentus can rule on it if this seems unfair.

The soul of the particularly devout go beyond Horus' control (to keep the God of the Dead from having too much power/leverage over mortals, after all, what's the value of the the temporary mortal life compared to the eternal afterlife?) so Fovos would be under Marus' care after his death. However, to actually revive him would need help - probably from Horus' daughter (sorry Moon, forgot her/his name!) since they're the Ichor of Undeath. Not so sure what you mean by 'kill everyone' though :P

Camelone wrote:Name: Mainchin Dhiaga Keihatsu
Age: 19
Race: Human, connected with Misneach
Allegiance: Misneach, the Laochra Pentarchy
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Appearance:
Nationality/Kingdom of Origin: Laochra Pentarchy

I'll go find a lich somewhere. And by kill everyone I mean in his rage Marús destroys both armies in his rage using the last of his heat to burn everything. And then all of Marús related objects turn cold instead of hot.

Well, my assassin order can be somewhat connected to the Hashashin if you're looking for Crusaders. They were like Jihadists, but not loyal to a single government and technically their own entity.

Hopefully by the time this war is over, Horus will realize Jahfir isn't corrupting souls, and that this was the path evolution had always been set towards..
You can call me Aster. Yes, I did revive this nation... Again...

Nation/Faction name: Twilight Wolves
Race(s): Any race that worships Misneach almost exclusively
Patron God(s): (May be none) Misneach
Current Leader(s): None though there are at least two 10-tailed wolves
Brief History: The Twilight Wolves were never actually founded they just formed organically, men and women who attained a level of spiritual awareness were able to have one half of their soul in the Heavenly Realm and the other in the Mortal Realm. Though this is usually what happens with just the Yamabushi the Twilight Wolves took it a step forward and spiritually merged with the spirits of wolves creating a very powerful union with Misneach. Throughout the ages the Twilight Wolves have been wanderers and continually roam the world in secret granting protection and their powers to those they have deemed worthy of it.
Geographical area and key features: None as they are wanderers though they fast travel through the leaves of cherry trees and it is said that the planting of a cherry tree within a righteous house, along with the proper sacrifices, will earn the protection of a singular Twilight Wolf.
Map Claim: None they are wanderers.
Other details: (i.e. government structure, military, preferred neighbours, interesting culture, use this section however you want) The merger is done by an individual on their own free will and it is usually done without any known influence from current Twilight Wolves, it can only be done by those who have reached a certain level of spiritual awareness and discipline as the ritual is painful.
Ranks are denoted by how many tails one has, tails represent how close they are to Ascending fully or through what they have done. It is impossible to lie about ones tails or to add them forcefully as they appear naturally it seems.
There are two types of the Twilight Wolves black and white, black wolves are still able to fully Ascend but also have the possibility to descend as well trough their actions. The white wolves on the other hand are locked in place and can not descend or Ascend from their current position.
Twilight Wolves are immortal when it comes to aging and their bodies are a bit more durable than normal humans but they are not immune to dying and can be killed in combat.
If a Twilight Wolf descends than they resume aging from the age that they appear when they were a Twilight Wolf.
Their tails are actually wisps of energy from the Heavenly Realm.
