Great poll man. We finally have a new poll to star furry wars. This alone will destroy 10 pages of OOC real fast.

On the other hand, this can happen now if you like and Craig can still be trained. If you have Ceecee, in your next post hear about Uncle Sam fighting Sentinel and instead of letting old Sam handle it, she immediately goes in for reinforcements. And we can have our scene there.

Your choice, I am fine either way.

On the Skyworld

The place known as the Skyworld is the ancestral home of the whimsical Rainborn and the domain of their father figure and creator, the mysterious being of darkness, Father Sky. It is entirely separate from the universe, from any universe, thus setting it apart from their rules. As such, the Skyworld cannot be said to truly exist from the perspective of anything that exists outside of it, and indeed, aside from the Rainborn and Father Sky himself, the only creatures to have ever visited the Skyworld can be counted on one hand. If one is familiar with the concept of a pocket dimension, then one could very well consider the Skyworld to be a 'pocket universe'. The exact method and circumstances of its creation is unknown. Father Sky has complete and absolute control over the Skyworld, and an unending number of Rainborn live in it.

The Skyworld itself is divided in three parts. The first of these is the Great Fountain, the area where the Rainborn live and where Father Sky spends most of his time. The Great Fountain is, as the name implies, a fountain that appears to be enormous, its actual size indeterminate. The fountain is always topped off, never being less than full and never overflowing. This contrasts with the fact that it always seems to be raining in the Skyworld, perpetually, even though things such as clouds do not exist there, making it seem as if the rain merely materializes above the Great Fountain... which is exactly what happens. All the water in the Skyworld is the same substance, and there is a definite ammount of it. This substance, known by some as "Holy Rain" and called "Mother Rain" by the Rainborn, normally behaves as regular water; however, it has truly infinite potential and power stored within, effectively making it into what one could call an "omnipotent substance". Of course, as it is inert, there is no will to be exerted upon it, meaning it is effectively useless without a being with the very specific ability to manipulate this very specific substance. Being the one who catalyzed its creation, Father Sky is the only being capable of doing this; therein lies his virtual omnipotence, as the entire Skyworld is made of this substance. It is called "Mother Rain" by the Rainborn because they were born from it through Father Sky's intervention.

In addition to all of the above, the Great Fountain, being the area where the Rainborn live, behaves specially. Though the surface of the fountain seems to be no different than regular water, it behaves as a solid, meaning that the Rainborn playing and dancing above the surface will not sink, though it still seems to be susceptible to disturbances, as it ripples when the rain touches it and is warped by the movements of the Rainborn above it. Around the Great Fountain, there is a mantle of darkness separating the Skyworld from the nothing beyond, completely starless and devoid of any lights, though such a wall causes the Rainborn no anxiety. As the Skyworld is not governed by the same rules as those of the various existences, the Rainborn are perfectly able to see, despite the complete lack of light.

The second part of the Skyworld is the Great Rainbow. It is what lies below the surface of the Great Fountain; this further serves to demonstrate that the Skyworld rejects natural laws, as the space called the Great Rainbow is not one that would be logically constrained within the Great Fountain. It is a vast expanse of indeterminate dimension and surrounded by a mantle of uninterrupted darkness, much like the Great Fountain itself; however, the difference is that the ground, instead of being the pseudosolid water from before, is a truly solid crystalline material with various colors, making it seem as though one were standing above a rainbow, thus giving the place its name. It is always raining in the Great Rainbow, much like elsewhere in the Skyworld. However, the rain simply disappears in a wisp of light after touching the crystalline floor, and there are no bodies of water anywhere in the Great Rainbow, further emphasizing the contradiction that such an area would be right below the Great Fountain. The Great Rainbow is an isolated area of the Skyworld, impossible to access without Father Sky's mediation, and so far, no one else has been allowed inside.

The third part of the Skyworld is the Cloud. It is the dimensional storage used by the Rainborn. It is, like every other area there, of indeterminate size: if every Rainborn dedicated themselves to hoarding for a million years, they wouldn't fill up a significant fraction of it. Only Rainborn have access to it.

On the Rainborn

The Rainborn are the children of Father Sky, born from Mother Rain through his mediation. They are cheerful and whimsical creatures of mechanical construction which, with the exception of a select few of their kin, live happily on their Skyworld.

The Rainborn, as one can infer, are very different from humans, physiologically. Outwardly, they look pretty much the same: they have the same kind of hair and skin, and all the features, appendages and other characteristics that humans have superficially, but inside they are a completely different deal. For one, within their chests, instead of a heart or other inner organs, one can find a machine known as the Power Core. The Power Core is both the heart and brain of the Rainborn, storing all of the data that composes the Rainborn's personality, memories, emotions and feelings, and also keeping the body working, managing its senses, its sensations, its movements and its powers. Damaging the Power Core can cause loss of consciousness, loss of memory, motor disfunction, failure to use powers, loss of senses, and even loss of life. Technically, it is possible to repair a Power Core back to its proper state, enabling Rainborn to "revive" should their Cores be repaired, though this process is very difficult and depends a lot on how much damage was caused to the Power Core.

Power Cores are special otherworldly machines with limited Reality Warping abilities, crafted by Father Sky, one for each specific Rainborn. These Cores, like everything else born in the Skyworld, are made of Holy Rain, much like the rest of any given Rainborn body. As such, both the Cores and the Rainborn themselves have the Holy Rain's infinite potential within them; however, they cannot access it at will. Instead, they have a special method for it. Whenever an object that could fit into a Rainborn's chest is introduced to it, the object is temporarily broken down into data which is analyzed by the Power Core. This data consists of the properties, connotations and utilities of the object in question, and upon being analyzed it is compared to the data within the Core itself, which consists of the infinite potential of the Holy Rain. After contrasting the data, the Core determines which abilities have any relation with the object and which do not, and in turn grants the Rainborn in question the corresponding abilities by undergoing a special process. As both the Core and the Rainborn are made of Holy Rain, the Core resonates with the Rainborn, who in turn has these specific parts of the Holy Rain's potential unlocked for as long as the Core in question remains within their chest.

Any hand can reach into the chest of a Rainborn, however, and possibly pull the Core out of their chest, unless it is the Hollow Core, which is fixed in place. Only a hand belonging to a living creature can do this, however. Anything else has to break through the body of the Rainborn to gain access to the Power Core. Rainborn themselves are considered to be living creatures in this criteria.

There is another, arguably more powerful function of the Power Core, however. Power Cores have a limited Reality Warping capacity, as mentioned previously; this capacity is limited by the very specific programming put in place by Father Sky. Beyond the Cores, however, this can also be activated by a command of sufficient intensity given by the Rainborn itself; to put it in other words, if a Rainborn wills something with enough strength, then this function will be activated. The purpose of this function is to aid the Rainborn in dangerous times, and so, when activated, it will steadily begin rewriting the Rainborn's abilities, resonating and unlocking potential much like what happens when a Core is inserted. However, the potential unlocked is different, and so, instead of gaining new powers, the Rainborn in question merely grows stronger, and is able to utilize any current powers to a greater extent. The rate of power growth of the Rainborn in question is determined by the intensity of the active command, and is almost never instant, but on the other hand, there is no hard cap for said power growth, meaning that, with a sufficiently intense command, or to put it differently, with a strong enough wish, the Rainborn can continue growing in power indefinitely. However, if the command loses intensity or fades away, as would happen if the wish in question was fulfilled or otherwise rendered truly and completely impossible in such a way that the Rainborn understood it, then the process would steadily undo itself, lowering the Rainborn's abilities until they are in their default state once again.

Being made of something that does not exist anywhere within the universe, Rainborn are immune to certain powers pertaining to chemical make-up and other such matters.

The skin of a Rainborn feels like particularly smooth human skin. They are outwardly no different from humans, with the exception of their eyes, which are unusually glassy and bright, and somewhat artificial-looking. Rainborn are capable of having sex, but they do not possess the organic machinery required to impregnate or be impregnated, meaning that they are sterile and incapable of having children. Rainborn are much more durable than normal humans, as they have far stronger bodies. Underneath the skin, they are made of a black stone-like mineral substance that forms a humanoid skeleton of sorts over which the skin and other such anatomical ornaments are placed.

As there is an infinite number of universes, but only one Skyworld, and therefore only one version of each individual Rainborn inside the Skyworld, something strange happens when a Rainborn leaves the Skyworld to enter any (and therefore, every) universe. A version of said Rainborn for every universe in existence is created; however, the first time this happened, it was clear that this phenomenon posed a very clear danger to the integrity of the Skyworld, for the paradox caused by these thousands of versions of the same creature returning to their home would undoubtedly tear apart the world. In order to avert this, something was done to attune the Skyworld to a specific reality. This made it so that only Rainborn from that reality would be able to return to the Skyworld, whereas all other versions of said Rainborn would be exiled forever. The method through which the specific reality was chosen is unknown, but the chosen reality is the Beyond Universe.

Here we go. I've been working on this for a bit.

The Skyworld, the Will Empowerment of the Rainborn, the exact mechanism through which Cores replicate powers from random objects, and the nature of alternate universe versions of the Rainborn are all explained in here. I also removed the "Rainborn Physiology" spoiler from Etla's app (as everything explained there is also explained here) and retconned the concept of 'Coreways'. I intend to link this on Etla's app later.

If anyone has any feedback, it will be appreciated.

I don't feel like it does either. It's less sexualizing tigers and more giving a hot woman tiger fur.

Shouldn't we put the ones you dont have in the Archive there before we make any more Charm? And you still have characters that are unused for...almost since the beginning. Has your Tamaranian or Kryptonian seen action recently?

Actually, nevermind, just bring it on. You would not be Charm without all of these characters.
