the Romano-Hellenic faith only allowed for monogamy, and Judaism forbids polygamy on moral grounds (unlike most religions outside of the Fertile Crescent, everyone goes to the same place in Judaism, so all the stuff that's forbidden is based entirely on moral grounds or health reasons).

However, then there's other peoples who will be married to one person, and then have concubines.

So now we have a god/dess of the undead, lets make an undead city.

Nation/Faction name: Necronatio
Race(s): Mainly Humans (Undead), however this is the congregation of the undead so basically all the races that can die.
Patron God(s): Hydrix (for obvious reasons), Horus (also fairly obvious)
Current Leader(s): Roza
Brief History: Formed slightly after Hydrix came into existence, the nation of the dead (Necronatio) is a city state with the single fortified city Necropolis. It is high up in the mountains and is guarded by many a dangerous animal. It is sometimes called the cursed city due to most of the inhabitants being risen from the dead. It was formed as those who risen up from the dead were considered a crime against nature, and as such were hunted down regularly. Because of this they migrated to the mountains, and built a city. However it became a fortified city after a mob of angry peasantry went on a crusade and destroyed the city once, leading to the inhabitants to erect massive walls.
Geographical area and key features: Very mountainous, with a small flat where the city was erected. Necropolis also expands into the mountains into a large cavern. There is a single path up to Necropolis, and it consists of a small dirt road that is only big enough for two carts to pass by each other.

Other details: Necronatio has a tradition of dressing up in a large cloak that covers oneself completely and wearing a mask. This tradition derives from small clashes between residents and those who recently arrived and who were not "blessed" with undeath. However as the living rarely come up to the citystate, it became more of a cultural thing. It is also rude to show one's bones except for the hands and feet. The mask's are usually very ornate or are decorated based on one's previous culture.

Personality:Highly devout to their one true god of the afterlife (Her words) Hydrix, and her father the God of Death Horus. Wants to keep her flock safe from all harm, but has no problem with using her position to get things that she wants. She is known for wanting to start a crusade of her own. Tends to share the madness of her patron god however, and does have spats where she will make no sense.
Weaknesses:
Heavenly Link: She shares a "link" of sorts, and as such she shares the madness of her patron god.

Weakling: Although she is undead, her body was never the strongest to begin with. She is considerably weaker physically than those around her.
Strengths:
Devotion: Her devotion to her patron gods helps her as it will drive her even when all hope is lost, and it drives those around her to follow her.

Lich: She is practically unkillable and is very apt in the uses of magic.

Cult leader: Just her mere presence is enough for her flock of the undead to rise in a devout frenzy. Those who are not from her flock will see her as the orchestrater of Necronatio.
Special Skills and Defining Traits: Should be fairly covered in strengths and weakness
Bio: Roza Varium was one of the first to fully devout themselves to Hydrix. She had asked very little of her in life. She was one of the devout who asked for nothing, something that Hydrix liked very much about her. Roza was a simple farmer back when she lived. She was going to marry another farmer who had more land than her family when she turned 16. It was on her wedding that she was killed, along with the first of her flock. They were killed by a small band of barbarians who razed the town and killed it's occupants for enjoyment. It was when she was dying that she made her first request to Hydrix, to let her into her realm. Hydrix obliged.

When she woke up as not one of the living, but one of the dead, she knew it was a miracle granted to her by Hydrix. She got up and saw a few other getting up and knew what she had to do. She was to lead the flock of undead to a sanctuary, yes there was one place that she could think of, and that place is now called; Necropolis. She took on the name Roza Vi Necro as the city appointed her as a high priest, and as such was the leader of the citystate.

Could just barge into her realm as well, two others already did that and had a bit of a fight, so it can't be much worse.
