Salvia, I suggest you don't call Norman 'Old Man.' His Child defeated Wallace when he was 11, then, much like Steven, retired when he/she got bored. Power runs in that family.
My favorite games are the Pokemon Games. Shoot me a TG if you want to talk about them.

That's no Red!

Only other silent protagonists can understand a silent protagonist. That's why Red only talks in dots, but fights Gold anyway.

I havn't had a chance to look at the IC yet, but I've gotten the gist of events from the OP. Heros derped on the attack to nerf Villian forces and are licking their wounds while the Coalition look for the Rebel scum. Very Hoth-like.

That said, I have no concrete plans for posts yet, so treat them as chess pieces for now. Do you need any villains on scene at a specific location or a criminal mastermind to make an appearance somewhere? As you Unoffical-Offical Co-Op, I'm here to help you move this story. So, just let me know where you need what, and I'll hop on it.

You can appear in Mossdeep, Rustboro, or Slateport. Any will do, but Mossdeep would be recommended for Draco (Boss Man), and anyone you want fighting should be either in one of the other 2 cities or heading there.

Finn, don't complain. It has been confirmed that Red speaks; he just doesn't do so to Strangers, because he lacks Social Skills and finds it difficult to make friends.

Team Member App (Delete the parentheses and parenthetical contents, please?)

Name: Cry
Age: 17
Appearance (picture preferred): Image
Sex (biological gender): Male
Gender (how you see yourself): Male
Birthplace (region & town): Snowpoint City, Sinnoh.
Moral alignment (classic D&D grid): Chaotic Neutral

Biography: Cry is what happens when you raise a Child all their life to be a killing machine. Kidnapped as an infant by Team Galactic Grunts, he was raised all his life as an experiment; to see if ZHumans could be taught total obedience. It worked, to a point. Cry did become one of the greatest Human assets Team Galactic had, ruthlessly crushing any Trainers he met. However, his emotionsc ould not be made to completely go away. One day, after commiting a particularly brutal murder in the name of the ever-strengthening Team Galactic, he felt guilt. It was the first emotion he had felt in a decade. Cry had simply forgotten how to react to emotions. So, leading to his name, he cried. And cried. And cried. However, Cry's mind is deranged, so sometimes he'll be immobilized in his room, crying, while other times he'll be fine and crushing enemies of Team Galactic. These strange moodswings make him a risky asset, but he is a powerful one, and Team Galactic doesn't like to waste pawns they spent so much time and money training and molding. Thus is the story of Cry, a lost soul with no grip on his emotions.

Pokemon: (you will have more than a few, though they may be weaker than other character types. repeat this section for every Pokemon)
  • Espeon (No Nickname)
  • Female
  • Synchronize
  • Moveset:
    • Helping Hand
    • Quick Attack
    • Psybeam
    • Future Sight
  • History/Personality: Cry received Espeon along with her brother, an Umbreon, from Cyrus. She quickly adapted to her Master's cold Personality and has grown distant from even her brother.

  • Umbreon (No Nickname)
  • Male
  • Synchronize
  • Moveset:
    • Helping Hand
    • Quick Attack
    • Confuse Ray
    • Assurance
  • History/Personality: The Biological Brotger of Espeon, Umbreon refuses to give up hope, even in a world full of terror, pain, and suffering. Always cheering on his master, he always has hope that Cry, one day, will feel better. Until then, all he can do is comfort Cry.

Optional Section:

Personality: It all depends what he's like when you meet him. If he's in 'emotional mode' as it has been labeled by Galactic Scientists quite sympathetic to him, he won't be able to speak, and in worse cases, will be so locked within his own world that he won't even notice you. Other times he's fine and ready to battle on behalf of Team Galactic, but he still doesn't say much. Cry isn't talkative; he was trained to not be. At times when he is functional, he'll try to be polite, but is so completely unaware of Social Customs that oftentimes he comes off as strange and rude.
Likes: He does not form his own likes and dislikes. He has been trained to have no opinion other than that of Team Galactic's, and that training has been his life.
Dislikes: See above.

A work in progress, because Temp wanted me to make Team Members.

Prepare for Heartbreak.

Thank you very much.
I planned on making some Lieutenants of Domino's force (to have a bit more substance then 'a bunch of grunts', three would be sufficient - and I know, that Rockets are banned from applying, but it would add more substance) and a lot of civilians and neutrals, amongst them a pair of rangers, which aren't interested in who rules Hoenn, but in solely keeping Hoenn's wild Pokémon out of the fray, as well as a scientist (a bit on the mad side, but that is to be expected).
Would all of that be okay?

Edit without edit: Thanks for the confidence, NJ.

I named my Luxio "Lux". Because reasons. Also because childhod.

But Luxray is a final form Pokemon. How are you going to justify to me you getting a fully evolved Pokemon?

Rangers on the Coalition side? Eh, I don't like it. The coalition caused them to lose their jobs, and Teams aren't known for being kind to local wildlife.

Sorry, I didn't phrase it correctly: They aren't on the Coalition's or the Resistance's side. They aren't interested in these categories - hurt the wildlife and you are their enemy, no matter who you are, who your friends are and who has your back.
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

I have a female Luxray named Nala.

But that isn't a thing. The Coalition openly steals Pokemon from Trainers and murder the trainers. Rangers are around to help both Humans and Pokemon and promote the bond between them. The Coalition is breaking that most basic of rules, and thus any Ranger that hasn't simply quit will be fighting them.

I named my Luxio "Lux". Because reasons. Also because childhod.

But Luxray is a final form Pokemon. How are you going to justify to me you getting a fully evolved Pokemon?

I planned on making some Lieutenants of Domino's force (to have a bit more substance then 'a bunch of grunts', three would be sufficient - and I know, that Rockets are banned from applying, but it would add more substance) and a lot of civilians and neutrals, amongst them a pair of rangers, which aren't interested in who rules Hoenn, but in solely keeping Hoenn's wild Pokémon out of the fray, as well as a scientist (a bit on the mad side, but that is to be expected).
Would all of that be okay?

Edit without edit: Thanks for the confidence, NJ.

To Jord and Faal: I returned to Alice and Clara with Reece. See last section here.

Actually, Temp, it would be impossible. Rangers are known for their loyalty to whatever person they perceive to be their leader. The current leader is Hastings, even as he rots in a Dim Sun jail. Hasting was known for his tough stance against crime, organized or otherwise. Thus, Rangers would automatically fight against any side with Dim Sun on it. Another reason why they would not help teams is because one of the founding principles of the Union was that no Pokemon should be stolen from it's friend and/or trainer. Rangers are supposed to help people keep their Pokemon safe, a job which the Coalition prevents. Thus, even those who felt no particular loyalty to Hastings would still fight the Coalition. The former Union has a beef with the Coalition, and no Ranger will let the Union's shutdown simply slide.

And Temp, I know.

Ah, but even female Luxios have the default name Luxio. Therefore, a female Luxray nicknamed Luxio would still be a good joke.
My favorite games are the Pokemon Games. Shoot me a TG if you want to talk about them.
Don't worry! It's all just a tall tale, okay?

And somewhere in New York, Big Jim P gets a cold shudder down his spine.
