Gender: Male
Age: 15
Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):No Costume: (Image)
Costume:Wears fiber weaved black body armor but is almost always covered in shadows that can take various forms. The shadows around his face usually take the form of a demon to demoralize his foes.
Species: Mutant
Backstory: The circumstances of Roy's birth and his family history are both a mystery. All that is known is that over 15 years ago he was abandoned at the door of an orphanage in the dead of night in a small village in South America. The orphanage soon found out why because the next night shadows had began to surround the new born born baby. They thought the boy was possessed so he was handed over to the local church where he was cared for by the local priests. They raised him the best he could but it was quite a rough life for the boy. He was brutalized by the local children and often had to fight to survive. However things changed when he was 5 years old and the mercenary Floyd Martin came into town.
When Martin arrived he heard whispers about the local demon boy , or "demonio" as he was referred to by the locals. Martin was walking through town when he was a boy being brutally beaten by others. Martin scattered the other boys and discovered that the boy who he had saved was in fact the demon. Roy would not talk to Martin for a very long time but after Martin fed him and fixed his wounds Roy spoke up. When Martin heard of the boy's powers he was quite interested, thinking about his potential. Martin offered to adopt the boy who readily agreed to escape the hell that he currently lived in.
Martin brought Roy to his mansion in the Andes where he trained the boy to be a fierce warrior and future mercenary. He was harsh with Roy, but kept him safe and well fed. They actually began to bond after a while. Roy was given an excellent education both academically and militarily. He proved to have quite the scientific mind and was building computers by the time he was 10.
There was one problem for Martin, Roy showed a strong aversion to killing. His weapon of choice was a non lethal staff and he refused to kill. Martin thought he could eventually dissuade Roy of this naive principle. However their relationship came to an unpleasant end when one night Martin told Roy that the next morning he would have to kill in order to prove his dedication to him and the mercenary life. That night, Roy gathered his staff, armor, and as much money and equipment and ran away in the shadows. That was 6 months ago and now the 15 year old boy is on the run from his vengeful mercenary father, and is dealing with the internal struggle between his principles and his training.
Powers and Abilities: Shadow manipulation and absorption, this works with darkness as well which he can absorb and re-project as an energy bast. He is able to dim and extinguish light to an extent and can move at super-speed when his path is uninterrupted by light. Is trained in hand to hand combat though he still has work to do on that.
Weaknesses: Light drains his abilities, the sun especially. Has trouble interacting with people due to his terrible social skills. He is also quite vulnerable to fire.
Destructive Capacity: City Block Level
Speed:
Speed of Light(When in shadows)
Durability:Multi City Block Level
Lifting Strength:Class 100
Striking Strength:Class GJ
Standard Equipment: Titanium staff, smoke bombs, and black throwing stars.
Intelligence: Very High
Optional stuff.
Theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBjQ9tuuTJQ
Star Force Manipulation: The ability to harness and use the Star Force. Avatars do not possess the full capabilities of the Star Force, but can be granted more control in desperate cases. While dream-walking, a Starkindler cannot create new stars, and vice-versa. The Star Force can be granted to others, but is rarely done.
- Stellar Manipulation: Starkindlers can create new stars, and control their movement and position. They cannot, however, prevent stars from dying or falling. Upon a being's death, Starkindlers do have the ability to turn said person into a star.
- Star Habitation: Starkindlers can live within, or move part of their conscience to any star that they have created themselves. Stars are created with chambers inside, filled with the tools, works, and other things. Avatars cannot teleport themselves to these chambers, but that can be done by Starkindlers themselves.
- Light/Starlight Manipulation: Rather self-explanatory...
- Stargate Creation: The Starkindlers were those who created the first Stargates, devices which create wormholes to other Stargates, or anywhere in the universe. Stargates must be encoded with 7 or 8 chevrons, if travelling to another Stargate. These Stargates populate much of the universe and there is one on nearly every planet.
- Telepathy and Telekinesis: The Starkindlers possess some of the powers of the mind.
- Avatar Creation: The Starkindlers may create avatars of themselves. These avatars can be of any race, age, gender or appearance. As explained above, avatars cannot be exactly the same.
- Dream Manipulation and Dream Walking: The Starkindlers can create dreams within sleeping beings, and walk within their minds and dreams, fighting back the nightmares.
- Flight: Rather self-explanatory as well...
- Healing: The Starkindler also has the power to heal any living being. That, however, does not include other stars.
- Immortality: The Starkindlers and their avatars are immortal, though they can be killed with great difficulty. The immortality of an avatar may also be canceled if the avatar wishes to live a mortal life.
- Avatars cannot access the full power of the Star Force unless granted it.
- Avatars created cannot be the exact same person, or a paradox will occur
- Black Holes: The one thing Starkindlers fear, what happens when stars die. Though stars live for a very, very, long time, they are not immortal. The Starkindler, when the life of a star is at its end, will cause the star to break up and fall to several planets, creating starmetal. Starmetal is a luminous metal which is difficult upon most mortal eyes. It is incredibly strong, and can also hold great amounts of magic, or absorb it. The Stargates are made of starmetal that has been mixed with other metals. Think of it on the level of uru, adamantium, and vibranium. This event is called Starfall. More to come on this later.
- Darkness Manipulation users can cause damage to those wielding the Star Force.

Krytonus wrote:Name/Alias: William Waters / Gravity
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Will stands at roughly six feet, making him taller than most and possibly making him threatening. Luckily, he's fairly skinny and lanky and so becomes much less threatening. His skin is very tanned due to a combination of quickly-tanning Irish skin and four years living in California. His hair is long, unkept and curly, and when it gets wet it becomes a curtain over his eyes, which are a rich, deep brown. Despite being entirely Irish, this combination of a strong tan, brown hair and brown eyes means he is often mistaken for hispanic. He has high cheekbones and would be considered somewhat handsome, and is also moderately fit. Despite his skinny frame he eats a lot. It's just good metabolism. (Freakishly so, in fact. A slight side-effect of his powers means he needs to eat more than an average person, especially after using his powers a lot.) Will usually wears jeans and hoodies, always wears a watch on his left hand and also noticably wears slip-on or velcro shoes as he is unable to tie shoe-laces. This is because of his Dysphraxia, a condition that often has him mistaking left and right, makes handwriting a mess, and makes it difficult to tie shoelaces, a fact that he is very shy and ashamed of.
Costume: As he's only starting out as a superhero, he wears a black and blue wetsuit combined with some knee and elbow pads, light black running shoes, very light cycling gloves and a black motorcycle helmet. He also wears his watch (the one he never takes off) over the wetsuit on his left hand.
Species: Human / Mutant X Gene (Marvel/X-Men)
Backstory: Born in Dublin, Ireland to a Lawyer and the housewife he had an affair with, Will was born into a troubled household. He lived in a small apartment with his father who won custody after the two decided it was better they split up. Will's mother had already divorced her husband and had no steady income to support a child. Will's father, a successful lawyer named Declan Waters, had little time to care for Will and so he spent most of his early life being cared for by maids and babysitters. Over the years, case after case fell through and Declan began to lose money. He understood there was no way he could take care of Will, and so, when Will was ten years old, his Father sent him away to a small town outside of San Francisco where his sister, Siobhan lived. Will finally managed to settle down there and found a few friends in his new school, and kept studying Irish outside of school. However, Will's troubles were not over yet. With Will gone, his father had become a very successful lawyer, and when he joined the defense in a high-value case against an Irish crime-lord tragedy struck. The case was hugely one-sided and quickly over. Furious that their boss had been sentenced to life in prison, the crime-lord's lackeys murdered Declan in his apartment. This devastated Will. He and his Aunt travelled back to Dublin to his funeral. Upon returning home, they found Siobhan's husband dead and two panicking burglars grabbing as much stuff they could carry. Already fearful and on edge, one of the burglars shot Siobhan in the head as soon as she entered the house. He aimed the gun at Will to fire a second shot, but found he couldn't kill a twelve-year old boy. The burglars were never identified and Will found himself in an orphanage in San Francisco. It was around this point he found his powers to begin manifesting as he hit puberty. He found he was able to walk on walls, lift objects with his mind and even fly. A first he though he had a form of telekinesis, but soon discovered he was actually able to control and manipulate gravity. With nothing left to lose and a hatred for crime both organised and petty, Will took to the streets as Gravity.
Powers and Abilities: Will has the ability to manipulate the force of gravity. Using this power he is able to run faster by making the area around him lighter, jump and even fly by reversing or lowering gravity. He can implode buildings by increasing gravity and can cause shockwaves in the ground to batter enemies and, by manipulating the direction of gravity in a small area, can literally tear them apart. He can also muffle his footsteps and walk on walls and ceilings by changing the immediate area around him, and break items such as locks or mobile phones. It is unknown how powerful this ability could potentially become.
Weaknesses: Despite his extraordinary abilities, Will is no more "durable" than an average human. A bullet, a knife, or anything can do as much damage to him as to anybody, although he can densify his body to protect himself from blunt damage and excessive force, such as being tossed into a wall or something, if he sees it coming. He has a faster metabolism and needs to eat lots regularly. His dysphraxia can cause trouble especially when trying to discern left to right. He is also completely untrained in any martial arts or hand-to-hand combat. Has a phobia of jellyfish.
Destructive Capacity: Wall/Tree to Small Building level.
Speed: 100m/s (Has the potential to go supersonic and much, much faster in the future).
Durability: Human level.
Lifting Strength: Class K, for now at least.
Striking Strength: Class KJ (Again, for now).
Standard Equipment: Digital Watch, Suit as listed, small Swiss Army Knife, iPhone 4, a Snickers.
Intelligence: Above Average.
Optional stuff.

Name/Alias: Vicky Washington
Gender: Female
Age: 28
Appearance: Vicky stands at a modest five-foot five. She's always changing her hair style apart from the recurring bright purple. Lately she's settled on long with bangs. Her face is very small and dainty, with high cheekbones, and she's got chilling green eyes. Some say she's gorgeous, others say she's the Devil. She's very skinny, but athletic, like a professional runner. She has a pierced lip and tends to go for that sort of "punk" look. She generally wears black or dark clothing and always, always wears a leather jacket. The only piece of clothing not fitting her punk aura are her shoes, which are very lightweight, the sort you use for running, or Parkour or something like that. She also has a studded collar and bracelet, and holds a powerful pistol in a holster on her right thigh, and a switchblade in her left pocket.
Species: Human, Mutant X Gene
Backstory: Not all that much can be found about Vicky Washington, not even in official government files. What is known, is that she came from a privileged family somewhere in Virginia, and attended a boarding school where she fell in with the wrong crowd. When her powers became active, she began working for gangs, before eventually being recruited as a interrogator for a unique government division utilizing mutants. She quickly rose the ranks and eventually began working with Leonard Whites. She had a high payroll and her powers became invaluable. However, after a bad series of events including the robbing of a lot of government cash, the division was shut down. Leonard and Vicky figured they worked pretty well together, so they became mercenaries, their specialties being interrogation and driving people insane, though they were good at killing, too. With a lot of "competition" getting arrested in later years, business is good.
Powers and Abilities: Vicky has the ability to inflict up to roughly twelve thousand times a normal man's threshold, without causing any lasting damage. She is the ultimate torture machine. She's also very good with a gun, and an excellent runner.
Weaknesses: Her power does not help at all with disabling foes, but she can rely somewhat on her pistol for that. Other than her power, she's just a normal girl, and as such, can't do much damage. That's what Leonard is for.
Destructive Capacity: Street level.
Speed: Elite human
Durability: Human level.
Lifting Strength: Average human.
Striking Strength: Human class.
Stamina: Olympian runner.
Standard Equipment: Pistol, spiked collar.
Intelligence: Slightly above average, though she lets Leonard take care of things.
Optional stuff.
Theme song: Icky Vicky
Random Facts about your character: Sadist.
Name/Alias: Leonard White
Gender: Male
Age: 39
Appearance: Leonard is a giant, standing at six foot six. He is in peak physical condition, with huge rippling muscles. He keeps his head clean shaven and has a square jaw, with deep, sunken eyes. He's beginning to get a few wrinkles, and he's not quite as strong as he used to be, but you still would not want to mess with him. He usually wears jeans with his old leather belt and a white vest that's usually drenched in sweat underneath a long, grey trenchcoat. In this trenchcoat he keeps two assault rifles, an uzi, a pistol, three grenades, a sniper rifle (separated and folded into three parts), knuckledusters, a small knife, enough ammo to last two days, a small first aid kit, two morphine syringes, a cyanide pill, a set of walkie-talkies and some coffee beans, ground and kept in a sandwich baggie for emergencies. He's basically a pack mule incarnate. He's also very fond of his aviators. Despite his physique, he isn't as fast as Vicky. Also, he's a sadistic nutjob who enjoys inflicting pain. No wonder he and Vicky work so well together.
Species: Human, Mutant X Gene.
Backstory: Leonard was born in Illinois to a loving father and a random prostitute. His dear 'ol Daddy worked as a professional bounty hunter, and taught Leonard to be the same. From an early age, Leonard was lifting weights and learning interrogation techniques. They had a jolly old time, cruising all over the U.S killing people, until his Dad was killed when a job when pear-shaped. Leonard was left all alone in the world. As soon as he could, he took up his Daddy's business, and eventually found himself working for the special US division after about ten years of working as a hitman. He worked as a interrogator, and eventually was tasked with lookin' after a little girl named Vicky. They worked very, very well together and after the division when bottom-up they became bounty hunters in crime. With not a lot of competition left, work is easy.
Powers and Abilities: Leonard has the unique ability to see five seconds in the future, and, as such is basically an invincible killing machine, wiping out entire rooms of men without so much as a scratch. He's also a highly trained fighter, and an excellent marksman. He is deadly with pretty much any object.
Weaknesses: His brute strength can also be used against him, but with the whole five seconds in the future thing, he's near impossible to kill.
Destructive Capacity: Wall/Tree level.
Speed: Average human
Durability: Peak human, and that's just if he gets hit.
Lifting Strength: Peak human.
Striking Strength: Slightly superhuman.
Stamina: Elite human.
Standard Equipment: Please see trenchcoat for details.
Intelligence: Average, though he is very knowledgeable in weapons and killing.
Optional stuff.
Theme song: Yep.

Name/Alias: Atiala Hypernova
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Appearance: This
Species: Half-Kryptonian, Half-Saiyan
Backstory: There's not much to it anyway, so I will keep it short.
Atiala's mother was a Kryptonian space pirate, while her father was a low-ranking Saiyan warrior in service under the Planet Trade Organization. In fact, the story how they met ties up to that - during an unsuccessful raid on a border planet, she was captured and arrested, with him being appointed to watch over her. They soon fell in love, escaped prison, married each other and settled down on Earth. In New York, of course, because why not. Atiala was the child that ended up being created from this relationship (wow, Fin, excellent wording, man). Living a pretty happy and satisfying life in a suburban neighbourhood, she quickly grew addicted to the stuff that Earth has to offer - video games, the Internet, coffee, staying home. While not exactly a superhero just yet, Atiala is naive, kind and wouldn't turn down helping a person in need.
Powers and Abilities: Krypto-Saiyan Physiology - Atiala is a hybrid of two alien races, Saiyans and Kryptonians, inheriting the abilities and powers of both.
Includes:
All Kryptonian Powers (Look up Superman for details)
Basic Ki Manipulation - energy blasts, basic beams, ki flight and empowerment
Saiyan Transformations (Currently none)
Saiyan Potential - you know, no end to training and stuff
Anger Empowerment
Some more I probably forgot
Weaknesses: Atiala, at the same time, also inherited the weaknesses attributed to both of these powers, like:
Kryptonite, all types. Like the pink kind. Especially the pink kind;
Weaker against magical attacks;
Like Saiyans, can get mind controlled fairly easily;
Lacks much combat experience or training;
She is surprisingly slothful, and would prefer doing nothing instead of something;
Will be a bit more comedic than my other characters, don't expect 100% usefulness capacity from her.
Destructive Capacity:

Speed:
High FTL (above 30x)
Durability:
High Stellar Level (up to 11 Foe)
Lifting Strength:
Somewhere between Planetary and Stellar
Striking Strength:
Class XMJ-XTJ
Standard Equipment: A smartphone and a phone charger, with headphones. Never, ever leave your house without those.
Intelligence: Being half-Kryptonian, Atiala has a super-brain, though rarely uses it.

Gender: Male
Age: 24
Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): He dresses like an
every-man when he's doing regular things, usually with a liking to rugged
clothing. He has white, long hair which runs up to his neck. When he's "doing
the world a favor", he wears a butcher's outfit with a blank, white mask;
which usually has a kevlar underneath. He also wears a gray trenchcoat over
the outfit. Under the mask, he has a rather feminine face; which he sometimes uses to trick his victims. Currently, he has no access to his usual outfit, and is dressed in a Talon uniform without a cowl.
Species: Peak Human
Backstory: Lazarus Hope used to be a regular citizen of Gotham. As much as he strived to be a kind, patient, and forgiving person; he quickly learned that most people aren't similar, and will even abuse others to get their way. While he always tried to go on with his life ignoring the delinquents of the city, he always had an underlying mindset of how these people were simply scum. When he first heard of the Batman, he was glad to know that there was someone who got rid of those he despised so much. However, he quickly grew to resent the Masked Vigilante upon discovering the Bat's moral code. He was close to finishing his Master's Degree in Psychology when he suddenly went missing. People didn't know where he went as he always kept to himself, and was usually at the end of the jokes of the bullies and jocks of the university who would make fun of his weird natural hair color. Only one person had a clue as to what happened to him - Robert Michaels, his childhood friend. When asked about what might have happened to his friend, he would only say this: "He was growing a bit unstable. Apparently, something grave happened. I tried reaching out to him, but he wouldn't even talk to me.". A few days after his disappearance, law enforcement was called to look for him. When they searched his apartment, they were unsettled by what they found. One of the jocks was crucified to the wall, with the words "This is what your code allows!". Polaroids of the crucified man depicting him violating a woman were scattered around the room. It was later found out that this woman was a freshman who had befriended Lazarus. The police is currently on the look out for Hope, who has recently sent a ciphered message to the Gotham Police Department. When they finally cracked the code, it said one thing - "If the Bat won't rend Gotham of its weeds, I will.".
Further investigation revealed that Lazarus Hope has been taking Venom - an addictive substance known for making its users stronger. His current whereabouts are unknown.
He was trained under the Court of Owls after the Vannis incident in Gotham. The training culminated in him killing off his mentor, and eventually incinerating the whole Court and their underground labyrinth when the entity Genesis entered Lazarus just after he was genetically altered to be given the abilities of a Talon. Due to this, he no longer has a Venom Relapse effect; but he still retained the strength he got from it.
Powers and Abilities:
-Cunning: He is able to persuade people rather excellently, thanks to his study in Psychology
-Psychology Major
-Sadistic
-Peak Human: Due to Venom
-Skilled Actor: He's basically a Con Artist at times to get some funds while he's on the run.
-Selective Empathy: His delusion has come so far as to allow him to feel virtually no remorse for those he deems as "worthless". He has regular empathy for others, though.
-Chemical Knowledge: Has a degree in Chemistry, he can comprehend some toxins to an extent.
-Above Average Durability: When he's bloodlusted, there comes a point where he basically ignores pain.
-Creativity: Really good at making plans and tactics, even in combat.
-One Man Army: Due to his awareness and quickwit, he can easily outmaneuver and hack up enemies even when outnumbered
-Talon Training:
-Superhuman Strength in addition to his Venom
-Master in hand to hand combat
-Molecular Regeneration
-Master in Espionage
- Possessed by Genesis:
- Word of God: His pupils turn red and once he orders someone to do something, they will do it. As long as the target can comprehend the command. This is used sparingly by Lazarus, and he has yet to use it to its full extent
- Knowledge in both the Divine and the Demonic: Genesis is the offspring of an angel and a demon. It is said that the entity may once surpass God himself in power.
Weaknesses:
-Cold Temperature: It slows down his regeneration factor
-Insistence in Melee: He will rarely if ever use firearms. He will throw blades if desperate, but he views firearms as too "humane".
-Mild Insanity: He's out there, it can make him lose focus.
-Word of God comprehension: If the enemy doesn't understand what he says, they won't follow. (Example: Commanding someone to do something in English when the target doesn't understand English)
Destructive Capacity: Small Building Level (Potentially Catastrophic, but he doesn't abuse the Word of God)
Speed: 10 m/s (20 when sprinting)
Durability: Small Building Level (Due to regeneration)
Lifting Strength: Peak Human
Striking Strength: Class KJ
Standard Equipment:
- Different kinds of bladed weapons. Currently uses a katana, kunai, and throwing knives due to Talon Training.
- Poison: For when he wants to knock his enemy out and break them later
Intelligence: Pretty high. If it weren't for his insanity, he'd be gifted; seeing as how he was one of the top students in the University.
Optional stuff.
Theme song: Devil in Disguise - The Brevet
Random Facts about your character:
While he may be sociopathic, he still has a soft spot for most people who he doesn't see as "scum". He befriends them, hangs out, all that (though, this started after he became what he is.). He's someone you wouldn't expect to be, well, a brutal vigilante.

Name/Alias: Doctor 666 | Jane Eleanora Patrick | The Time Lord
Gender: F
Age: 10
Appearance: http://twilightguide.com/tg/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Mackenzie-Foy-288.jpg
Species: Singularity
Backstory:
As a child of eight, Jane began displaying extraordinary feats as an intellectual genius capable of designing blueprints of flying cars and rockets that can actually work. Her rapidly maturing mind and knowledge of the world at large were quickly beginning to astound and frighten friends and families alike which as a result slowly began to make Jane feel isolated from the rest of normal society. Just as she had begun learning to control & suppress the genius inside her to adapt to her more "middle school-class" surroundings, Jane was suddenly dragged away from her home and teleported mysteriously before the presence of The Fulcrum Force.
The Fulcrum Force; a primordial cosmic entity forged by the Living Tribunal to serve as a balancer between all other entities and concepts. As if her own life couldn't get anymore complicated, The Fulcrum Force appointed Jane as the 13th Doctor 666. Like all her predecessors, it made her a Singularity, a sole being that can exist outside of the space-time continuum for such a time until her service has ended. Just as the Sorcerer Supreme is their universe's greatest magic practitioner, so will the Time Lord be their universe's greatest scientific physician.
Like her magical counterpart, Doctor 666 was charged with the responsibility of balancing the thin line between Order and Chaos, Good and Evil as well as ensuring that the space-time continuum was preserved & kept stabilised from the likes of gods, monsters, aliens and mutants. After that, Jane was teleported back home where for a brief moment, she was left to wonder how her budding & not-so-awesome life just got even more fucked up than before.
Powers and Abilities:
Absolute Intellect
Cosmic Knowledge
Cosmic Awareness
Chronolock
Advanced Technology
Divine Power Negation via "The Mortalcurse"
Alternate-Selves Contacting via "The Thingamajig"
Time
Travel/Dimensional Travel/Subspace Travel via "The Thingamajig"
Weaknesses:
- Not Omniscient. Capabilities are still affected and limited by human error
- Knowledge is limited to her own universe
- Time Traveling abilities restricted within The Thingamajig. Usage is often regulated by The Fulcrum Force and highly reserved for cases of dire emergencies
- Unable to negate the powers of any deity on par or more powerful than The Fulcrum Force itself.
- Unable to take possession of another alternate version of herself. Communication is restricted within The Thingamajig.
- If any time changes happens to change the event in which the Jane was granted the ability to exist outside time and space, then that ability in itself is inapplicable.
- Even as a Singularity, Jane is only semi-immortal and is still vulnerable to things like diseases, poison, being wounded etc...
- No real natural offensive capabilities and has the physique of a 10 year old. As such, relies heavily on The Thingamajig and her various super-science tech and allies/companions for protection.
Destructive Capacity: Universal Level via invented super-tech like the "Thingamajig"
Speed: 1m/s running
Durability: Average human level
Lifting Strength: Average human
Striking Strength: Class H

Vant Zant was born a free spirit and a drifter, the son of a single mom and dad who walked out before he was born, he was relatively normal and grew up just getting by as he mom worked tirelessly to provide for him and keep the bills paid. He would just make the cut to pass in his school work, despite constant nagging from his mom and teachers about how he could do so much more - he had other things in mind, like having fun with friends, chasing after girls, playing video games, and hanging out whenever, wherever. Van became the life of the party and a smooth talker, charismatic to a fault, and somewhere along the lines, a superhero.
You couldn't pinpoint an exact moment when the powers showed up, but Van could see their beginnings in early middle school ages and slowly progressing as he grew older until he had an above average understanding of how his tactile telekinesis worked - the boy even studied and read about his powers from a library, as well as reading about other heros as he matured. He kept his powers to himself for the most part, that being the one thing he never bragged about, until his mom caught him practicing one night. The two sat down and had a discussion on what to do with his gifts - and Van admitted his desire to be a hero. Supporting his decision, Van's mother set him loose on the world to do good and apply for membership in the Justice League, but he just sorta drifted around instead.
Since he opted for a GED instead of graduation, Van left high school shortly before his seventeenth birthday and found a job, apartment, and the means to become a hero. He made a name for himself locally, but Jump City is a harsh and unpredictable mistress, and all he wants to do is either find some fly honey's or other youngsters with powers like himself. Just for friendship and to know he's not alone, teaming up is barely on the radar.
Tactile Telekinesis: Paragon utilizes tactile telekinesis, which gives him a personal force field of telekinetic energy to use as he sees fit. This personal field goes only a few molecules above his skin, but can extend to other objects so long as Van is in contact with him. With this in mind, Van uses this power to simulate other powers and abilities, not unlike pre-New 52 Superboy in that regard, but as a normal Human instead. He simulates the following powers, with more to come as he practices and discovers new abilities:
- Flight/Levitation
- Force-Field Generation
- Force Armor Generation
- Invulnerability
- Telekinesis (personal)
- Telekinetic Blast
- Telekinetically Enhanced Condition
- Psionic Strength
- Telekinetic Regeneration
- Repeated, severe blows can break through Paragon's energy field
- He can only move objects he's in physical contact with, but the effect is immediate
- Van doesn't have an unlimited supply of stamina, and once he's worn out, his powers decrease rapidly until he collapses from exhaustion
