Bio: Patrick, or Riley as he was referred to by his closest friend, woke up in a hospital at the age twelve from a coma he had been in for four weeks. He had no memory of anything before his coma, and there was no one there to claim him as their child or even say he was acquaintance. After ensuring he was in healthy condition he found himself in a foster home. And after a few years he found himself in a few more foster homes. He never was quite able to fit in, he was fairly shy and kept to himself. But somehow sticking to himself still managed to get him in trouble and he was labelled as a problem-child finding himself in increasingly worse and worse homes.
When he was sixteen he met a girl named Melissa who immediately began to cling to him when he stuck up for her when she was being teased. At first he tired to blow her off, he was a loner all his life and here was this girl always trying to be around him. But with a little time she grew on him, exponentially. She would follow him everywhere and he was glad for it, the few times she was not around he would feel incredibly alone. However, as was the norm for himself, he didn't get along with the kids at his foster home and it was decided it would be best if they sent Patrick off to another home. But than he would be separated from Melissa, so the two came up with a plan to run away together and live alone together. It was the perfect plan according to their young minds, and after a week of planning they ran.
They found themselves in Chicago, homeless, but together so happy. But it didn't last; Patrick found himself in a hospital after sustaining some minor head trauma from part-time work he was getting to sustain himself and Melissa. However, during the check-up it was discovered he had a brain tumor, one that if not operated on would likely end in his death. The hospital, due to their obligation to public health had to operate on the homeless kid and just before being sent to have the operation Melissa told him she would wait for him just outside the room.
The operation was a success, Patrick survived. But Melissa wasn't there, she wasn't waiting for him. He waited at the hospital for as long as they allowed him, but she never showed up. He went to their usual places of rest and to hang out to find her, but she wasn't there and all of her stuff was gone as well. It was as if she picked up all of her things and left, it was as if she abandoned him. After a week of frantic searching he gave up and accepted that she had left him. And it was at this moment a young woman came to Patrick, she offered him a deal: she would replace Melissa as his friend and companion, but he would have to assist her in a war against heaven. Patrick was sure the woman was insane, but after being bound to Melissa for so long after being alone all of his known life he was frightened of the prospects of being alone again. He took her deal solely for the reason of having her be his friend or at least allowing him pretend she was, and who would play along with this ludicrous war on heaven. But she was telling the truth and Patrick's life was changed.

Bio: Jane grew up as a seemingly normal girl wherever she lived, save for her obsessive tendencies. After hitting puberty she grew a habit of becoming attached to a seemingly random person in whatever school she was in and proceed to make their lives miserable, though never intentionally. Her parents would always pick up their things and move to a new place to avoid any sort of major scandals for as long as the could. At first she would simply follow this person everywhere they went. But this escalated to preventing others from interacting from her new idle of obsession. And eventually this led to eventually killing everyone who tried to get close to her victim. These killings led to her eventual demise during a shootout with the police using her dad's shotgun. She died, but was reborn as a Black demon to serve her purpose in the coming war.
