Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): He just wears regular clothes for now. If he decides to do something super he puts on his lab coat, a white hood, a metal mask, and a pair of channeling gloves he made himself.

Species: Human

Backstory: Dr. Stephen Shepherd was a high level scientist at a secret AIM lab in the Caribbean working on a device to manipulate the aether. He was tasked by the leaders of Hydra to lead this operation and was given as much money as he needed, and as many men as he needed to complete the device. Stephen agreed to the constructing of the device, but what Hydra didn't know was that he was going to sabotage the event. He threw everything at the device, spending 500 million dollars, and finally completed it. The device was so full of dark energy that if the device was used wrong it could end up killing you.

On the day that Hydra was going to test the device Stephen was getting ready to leave the island. Just as he was leaving the lab a Hydra official caught him, and asked him to test the new device to make sure it was safe. He couldn't say no or he would have been killed, but he knew it would end up killing him. He gladly accepted and then quickly ran behind the device to try and fix it before he was supposed to do the demonstration. While he was tinkering with the device, a hammer that was sitting on moving shelf next to the device was knocked off by another scientist walking by. It hit the button to activate the device while Stephen was still trying to fix it.

When Stephen heard the machine starting up he frantically tried to get away from the machine. But while he was running way, the dark energy erupted out of the machine, and shot right into Stephen's body! Instead of dying tho, he just absorbed it and it didn't seem to effect him at all. He got up off the ground and went over to the machine to check if the dark energy was still in the device. It was empty! He was extremely confused, and started banging on the machine. At that time dark energy shot out of his hand and destroyed the machine and almost the entire room.

The Hydra leaders rushed into the room and saw Stephen standing there in the middle of the room surrounded by dead scientists. Stephen instantly started to run towards the Hydra leaders to knock them down and get out the door. As he did so he phased threw the people and got out the room. He continued to shoot energy and phase threw walls and people until he escaped the AIM facility. After escaping the facility, he quickly got on a boat and ran away to Cuba.

Powers and Abilities:
Quantum Phasing: Stephen is able to phase throw solid objects or people by manipulating molecules in his body, and in the object or body he is phasing through.
Energy Manipulation: Due to absorbing dark energy, he is able to manipulate it in anyway he chooses. Be it by creating constructs, channeling an energy explosion out of his hands, absorbing energy into him, etc.
Darkness Manipulation:
Gravity Manipulation: He has very weak gravity manipulation. He has flight manipulation, immobility, and can cause a slight gravitational downforce.
List is expanding.

Weaknesses: He is powerful, but his body is still a mortal body. He can die from a bullet to the head, or from drowning in a pool. He can not heal himself, and he will need medical attention if badly hurt. His powers are also weakened when he is in the presence of excessive amounts of copper and wood for a short amount of time (2 hours - 4 hours).

Destructive Capacity: Wall/Tree Level (when in regular mode)/Town/Small City Level (when channeling dark energy)

Speed: 10m/s

Durability: Peak Human Level

Lifting Strength: Peak Human (when in regular mode)/Class 10 (when channeling dark energy)

Striking Strength: Class KJ (when in regular mode)/Class GJ (when channeling dark energy)

Standard Equipment: Channeling gloves, a metal mask, and an energy rifle

Intelligence: Stephen is a all around genius. Being a former high level AIM scientist means you gotta have brains.

We need like, an actual appearance. What does he look like beyond just his clothes? I prefer pictures, but you can describe him if needed. Those are a lot of high-tier powers, though, and weird weaknesses to wood and copper, but overall, being mortal and unable to heal makes up for the powers in my opinion.

Yeah, I called it.

A lot better than the Darth Vader vs Batman match but I saw this coming. As much as I like Street Fighter, the Power Rangers are on another plane. Wielding a cosmic force has its benefits.

The only way for Ryu to win would be to defeat him before he morphs. I mean, a strong as Ryu is he is human. He has little experience with the powers of evil ryu and that is in contrast to the Green Ranger, in which I am sure his chest plate would be able to deflect hadoken blasts, superior arsenal and just trumping all physical areas of strength, speed agility ect.

Ryu is a fighter, GR is a super hero.
Two different leagues and that is what it boils down too.

I can't draw to save my life, but I could try to describe him. He is average build, 6 feet tall, face looks like Doctor Strange (just younger), and his mask looks like Dr Doom (ish). Also, brown hair brown eyes.
