Real sorry guys, been busy and I lost interest in this for awhile. If y'all are willing to continue, we can. Or is you guys so wish I suppose we could reboot. The only problem with rebooting is we likely won't have nearly as much success. I suppose we could change the setting and come to a consensus on what happened here in Louisiana(as in who got the treasure, etc. etc.), then in the next installment we could reference this as if it was canon, or maybe have some of our characters have reprising roles.

Next setting, South Carolina. Barely touched by the nukes, but Chinese spies caused a nuclear power plant to melt down, making the southern portion of the state irradiated. Broad river water was contaminated, causing downtown Columbia to get acid rain, and ruining all nearby plant life. Thus causing the northern part of the South Carolina to be left unsafe and dangerous. Raiders and mutants ravaged the countryside. Two main factions that are warring are stationed in Greenville, and Florence. Just an idea.

Reboot wouldn't be something I would vote for, I like my character and having to start from scratch would kinda suck after all that I have done. I would more than happily continue on though, we really need more Rpers in this .

One problem that this RP has had to a degree is character isolation, the actions of one character rarely affect all the rest. I am partly to blame with me being so far from the rest of you guys and turning my area from a character RP to a faction RP.

If we are to reboot I would suggest as such:
-Either limit the game area or make it so that we all start in rough geographic proximity so that we will be forced to actually interact with one another and not become isolated like we did here.
-Either make it a completely character RP or a faction based one not one or the other. We either have to to be only individual characters, though we can possibly be members of various factions that will ultimately be controlled by the Op. That or we can do an entirely faction based RP in which we all individually control various factions vying for power.
-more RP elements like stronger use of fallout SPECIAL skills and having them affect are individual character interactions to a degree. Dice rolls and random events from the OP would also add an element of randomness to the RP that would be nice.

I personally would prefer we keep the play area the entire state, or at least a good chunk of it, to allow for variety and exploration but make it so that the starting area is very small so that we basically start off with one another. If not then maybe a small county could be considered.

Considering how many people have either lost interest and/or just stopped posting, I think it would be better to just reboot the RP and set it somewhere else. Perhaps in the Great Plains, or in the Atlanta area (or somewhere else in Dixie); either way, if you do decide to reboot the RP, setting it somewhere not included in canon Fallout would probably be best.

And, like some of the other people have already said, if we do make a reboot, perhaps it would be best to slightly decrease the size of the map, and make it so players can not only interact with each other more easily, but have player actions affect each other more.

Well, either way would work for me. If we did do a reboot, I'd have to cast a vote for the Chicago-Milwaukee area (with an obvious bias), since we could say that the Enclave got the treasure and secured it in Chicago, or maybe the Chicago chapter of the BoS mentioned by Lyons in Fallout 3 took it for themselves. Still, I'm willing to continue this one. Also I agree with Russian that we should have a smaller land area, for example it would only be the Southern half of Louisiana, since tbh not a whole lot happened in the North.
