If Cimmerians have ever displayed fierce defensive traits anywhere, then in
1) For the Defense of the Community,
2) Against original home community's contamination by Defenderist plague
3) Against splitting tendencies in the original home community
4) Myriads of regions related directly or indirectly to La Pas & all. (when others weren't particularly interested, ...and which was mostly waste of time)
Yes. I can say that, while not expecting ever going to be rehabilitated in my home (for what ever reasons, real or illusory), but the Line for it's defense is solid and it's still there, no matter what other hobbies Cimmerians may have in R/D.

An attempt to be a more general region would destroy our regional identity, so I do agree that it would be less successful. Saying "oh, you're only successful because you're ideological" is a meaningless statement, because that's why the region exists. If The Internationale wasn't ideological, it wouldn't exist - no shit it wouldn't be successful.

Cultural imperialism can take various forms, such as an attitude, a formal policy, military action, so long as it reinforces cultural hegemony.

That's like saying you developed a village, when it was already there, just later filled it with people. Of course by village I don't mean the term community. They did develop a community but that can still be a "third world community" in line with what Cerian is speaking of.
Not sure if an apt enough analogy, I'm sleepy and I have no regrets.

Moreover, the only barrier to involvement in forum politics is, you know, actual interest. If people can't be bothered to spend ten minutes to register an account on the forums and apply for citizenship, then they're not going to be bothered to pay attention to the issues at hand come election time. It works much the same as you only getting 42 votes out of your hundreds of nations.
