Name: Argentina
Symbols: http://i.imgur.com/jrRlGLc.png
Claims: Prussian Blue Argentina
Power: Secondary Power
Government Structure:
Elected-for-life Head of State, 5-year Elective Senate. Ministerial Leadership.
The Electorial Leadership is based on 5 and 10-year cycles, depending on the priority of the department. Many ministers came from different European backgrounds, while future elections are leaned towards a more diverse group including locals, which are urrently being groomed for governmental leadership.
The Head of State is elected for Life, much like the Pope, but he overseas rather than directly manages the nitty bits of governmental duties. Setting the Long Term Plan, he directs the ministers to the eventual target.
Any foreign dignitaries are directed to the Foreign Minister, who will meet and arrange a meeting with the HoS if necessary.
The Hall of Representatives consist of 300 members, majority from established cities while minor settlements are represented by 2 or 3. They are elected every two years by the people they represent, picked from a pool of candidates who passed a gruelling test related to their duties.
Elections are open to any CITIZEN MALE aged 21 and above, and any CITIZEN FEMALE aged 24 and above. Humans not registered as CITIZENs are not eligible to vote.
To be a CITIZEN, one must either set up a Primary(Raw Materials) or Secondary(Manufactures) Industry which runs at a profit for 15 consecutive years, contribute 50,000 German Marks in currency to the Government, serve 10 years as a Professional Soldier, or have an existing business overseas to relocate to Argentina.
Ideology/Policy: Ecumenism, Progress, Militarism, Open Borders, Capitalism
Argentina seeks to have foreigners come in to invest and grow the nation. The German settlers have contributed much to lay the foundation of agriculture and industry, and German capitalists have invested, although many fled during the Civil War. A Open Border policy invites legal immigrants to start a life in the country, with Ecumenist policies protecting everyone from religious and racial discrimination. Educational progress is touted to be the number one investment in order to create a highly skilled workforce among the small population. A strong military can thus be born from a strong society, where the formation of the Regiments and staunch protection of New Lorraine calls for an ever vigilant Army against any external and internal threat.
Leaders:
Dieter von Argentina (Head of State)(Lifelong)
Krazib van Helgen (Finance Minister)(5-year Elected)
Ante de Cruz (Trade Minister)(5-year Elected)
Jurgen Konigsteiger (Defence Minister)(10-year Elected)

Logan Schneider (Education Minister)(10-year Elected)
Capital City: Koniegkuste [King's Coast] (Buenos Aires)
Population: 3.4million
Primary Ethnic Group: German
Minority Ethnic Groups: French, English, Spanish
Description of Ethnicity: A melting pot of cultures, especially Europeans mixed in with different natives, the dominant Germans also stem from the neighbouring land of New Lorraine, giving them a good anchor and inflow of immigrants.
Language: German, Germarraine (<- a mix of dialects and accents, Germarraine is a combined language which is strongly German, with a local accent. Germarraine is also known as a corruption of both languages of German and the dialects used in Lorraine, as the tendency to jump from one language to another to speed up conversation and simplify meanings takes precedence during a time-limited scenario. A person can speak in German and switch to Lorrainian to indicate an object known to the locals but not clear in the German language.)
Religion:
70% Protestant
20% Catholic
10% Others
Foreign Relations: Friendly and helpful to New Lorraine, the Commonwealth. Indifferent to Brazil and Germany, but seeking friendly relations with Chile and the Andes, Argentina's direct neighbours.
With Germany far across the Ocean, Argentina sees no reason to pursue enmity or hold a hostile position, although a civil war ended during the past twenty years. Brazil's foreign policies are a concern as Argentina seeks stability and the dominance of the south with a partnership with Chile.
Military Information: A small core of professionals are trained and maintained together with the mandatory policy of 'Wehrdienst', or national service. Able males from age 18 and above are to serve three years in the military, while those who eventually lose out in finding jobs in the civil sector are encouraged to join the military as a professional Guardsman or as a core regular. The military is arranged in Regiments, Battalions and Companies, numbering 8,000, 2,000 and 500 men each. Cavalry is near in-existent for the time being, as emphasis on infantry and light infantry on the jungles and hills of the land calls for more individual versatility. Arrangements are being made to draw upon German experience and technology to ensure Argentina has the men to defend and win wars in her own.

14 Reserve Infantry Regiments
2 Reserve Light Infantry Regiments

Navy Size: 10 frigates
Argentina's Navy was severely cut in order to feed the Merchant Marine, providing escorts and pirate hunting vessels to ensure the safety and stability of trade. The 10 frigates are tasked to coastal defence, and are usually employed as fire support against any coastal invaders.
Economic Policy: Private ownership of businesses are encouraged, allowing immigrants to come in and set up their own businesses and investments. While the current population are made up of mostly labourers who work the land for its resources, growing towns and cities ensure that industrialists and capitalists are being drawn with their immense spending power.
Economic Situation: Major investments are being channelled to education and infrastructure, with great emphasis on a strongly educated workforce for the future among Argentina's small population. Most of the navy's warships are sold to be merchant ships, leaving Argentina with 10 frigates.
Infrastructure: Well maintained and of good quality around the economic and industrial sectors. Roads deeper into the country are not as well maintained due to the lack of heavy traffic. Agricultural, Industrial and Commercial hubs are set up and being expanded so commodities flow together from point to point.
Imports & Exports:
Exports - Food, Agricultural products, Precious metals, Meat, Seafood
Imports - Machinery, Industrial parts, Chemicals, Textiles, Industrial Raw Materials
Currency: Marks, Sutenmarks. 1 Mark = 500 Sutenmarks.
History:
The last gunshots fired at the end of 1815, executing the last group of corrupted officials holding sway overArgentina. The two-year civil war ended with the locals while it started with Napoleon, drawing German attention away from her colonies and allowing the settlers and natives to overthrow the severe oppressive power forced upon them.
Over the years the great colonies of the Southern Otherland grew to be independent in terms of governance and society. Agreeing on a pact with the European Powers on an Open Border policy, inviting immigrants to invest and settle in Argentina. In 1870, after a change in Governmental structure to accommodate stability, the capitalist visionary Dieter Strashol became the Von Argentina to lead the state into something greater. Recent friction with the mighty Brazil up north called for great and major concern, bringing about the 'Wehrdienst' policies, as well as attempts to improve diplomatic relations with other powers in the region.
The primary concern would be New Lorraine, where a dominant German population reside. An important piece of heritage when the Germans first landed in South America, Argentina finds it her responsibility to ensure either the independence of New Lorraine, or having her in the protection of a fellow Deutsche sibling. In 1875 Dieter announced the Integration of Societies and encouraged settlements along the borders, allowing for the ease of trade and economic partnership. In 1877 Dieter announced the construction of Fort Beschützer along the Argentina-New Lorraine border. In 1880 he announced the formation of the Deutsche Lichtschutz, two companies of Argentina's sons, to be stationed at Fort Beschützer to ensure a rapid response to protect New Lorraine from any incursions, by specially trained light infantry, the 'Jägermeisters' of Argentina.
Dieter commanded that upon his death, that the remains of Argentina be erased into the Latin name of Argentina, for a new future beckons on the rise of a new era.
