Hopefully I'm not too late in getting this in...I'll also work on a logo soon, if RL doesn't get in the way as it usually does.

Candidate Beverage producers

Beverage Producer name: Brewvarian Brews

City and Nation of Location:
City Zorg
State Copperwies
Nation HopNation

Head of Company/Brewery:
Head of Company Sulivan O’Toole
Brewmaster Nigel Forkworth III

Storefront/link: work in progress….

Booth/Tent Special Requirements: Medium to Large Tent required. We will be bringing two of our mobile bars to set up within the tent. Our mobile bars are equipped with 4 taps on the center pillar, storage underneath for kegs (self refrigerated), as well as some dry storage for our pretzel supply. We do request a secondary cooling unit for backup kegs beyond what we can keep in the mobile bars (holds 3 kegs for each tapper, or 12 total kegs).

Beverage categories entering:

IPAs/ESBs:
1. Wicked Wizman
The Wicked Wizman uses a blend of Warrior Hops to achieve its hoppy goodness. It is also brewed with roughly a 50/50 mix of wheat and pale malts with a small amount of caramel and black matls for its color along with a few flavor notes. This is a standard ABV brew for the style and is at a 6.6%, its color rating shows as a 14 SRM acquired from the caramel and black malts, and has an IBU of 60.

Color: 14 SRM
ABV: 6.6%
IBU: 60

2. Century Crudlick
The Century Crudlick is our highest hopped brew and pushes this style to the upper limits with out tipping over the edge, so to speak. This is accomplished by using a blend of three hop varieties during the boil along with a fourth infusion during fermentation. For the hops we use the three C’s for bittering and flavor notes while shifting to an F’er for the aroma. The three C’s: Centennial, Chinook, Cascade. The F’er: Fuggle. As for the malts we blend in a combination of 2-row, 6-row, Biscuit, and a small amount of caramel. These present the brew with a nice light golden copper color and a over hopped biscuit flavor.

Color: 9 SRM
ABV: 8%
IBU: 100

Ambers/Reds/Ryes:
1. Red Rider #1
This is one of the oldest brews in HopNation and is actually in its fifth addition, but this is the original. It is an Irish Red Ale made up mostly on a base of 2-row malt with CaraRed and Caramel malts to instill the bright red color and caramel notes typical to the style. It is not overly bitter and is seen as very mild with a dry finish; three separate hops make up the overall bitterness. We did push the hop limits on the #1 strain but it stayed within the style parameters. It is an everyday drinker but this, the #1 formula is very hard to find these days within HopNation.

Color: 16 SRM – bright red
ABV: 6%
IBU: 27

Porters/Scotch Ales/Browns:
1. Punkin Pounder Porter
The Pounder as its known is a jet black brew with hints of pumpkin (as the name suggests) as well as some hints of fall spices almost resembling that of a pumpkin pie. It mixes a light amount of hops with its malts to help cut some of the sweetness of all the delicious malts. For those malts it is a mix of mostly 2-row and 6-row, a little caramel, a little bit of chocolate, and a decent portion of black malt for the overall color. So this brew could fall into a specialty category along with the Porter aspect as it combines these malts with a mix of Allspice, Cinnamon, Pumpkin, and Nutmeg. At its finish it has an excellent white head on it that can hold a bottle cap, if one were to actually place it on there. For the hops it uses a blend of Hallertau and Cascade to help balance out the malts making it not too malty and not to bitter. It does fall a little heavy on the ABV but because of its finishing flavors does not present as overly alcohol in taste or smell.

Color: 68 SRM
ABV: 6.5%
IBU: 31

Wheat/Weisse:
1. Risin Moon
The Rising Moon is our signature wheat brew and has wonderful color and flavor, not to bitter and not to malty but a good mix of the two for superb drinkability by a wide variety of beer drinkers. This is a blend of Bavarian Wheat and 2-row malt with the wheat making up nearly 80% of the grains. We then infuse it with two hop varieties for aroma and some bittering; those are Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and Cascade. It finishes clean and crisp as we add in some orange for that final flavor flash.

Color: 3 SRM
ABV: 4.8%
IBU: 21

2. Breadhead
An up and coming wheat brew, Breadhead has some excellent flavors in it. From a tiny citrus to a little banana it finishes clean and is not overly mouth heavy. This brew mixes three malts to achieve its overall flavor and feel with some light hops to compliment its overall palette. The single hop is of the Mt. Hood variety and infused twice during boil. It is very light in color but a little more golden yellow compared to the Rising Moon. It is a very mellow brew but does have a bit more bready tones in it.

Color: 6 SRM
ABV: 5%
IBU: 20

Will you be serving food as well?:
No, at least we will not be preparing food. We will have pretzel necklaces available as well as stick pretzels in bowls on the mobile bars.

Candidate Brewers/Beverage producers

Brewery or Beverage producer name: Burgunden Breuerie

Nation of location: Burgunden, Zurich Canton, Neu Engollon

Head of Company/Brewery: David Toft, CEO; Jan Toft, President

Storefront/link: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=195848

Booth/Tent Special Requirements: Large tent, lots of CO2 to pump the kegs, room for merch

Beverage categories entering (Please delete categories you are not entering for readability):

IPAs/ESBs: 81 ALE: a hearty, hoppy India pale ale; A standard with BB and it's avid loyalists, extreme hops that keeps building with its double and triple varieties.

Ambers/Reds/Ryes: ROUGE RYE ALE: a robust, amber rye ale; Made with Cascade hops, Maltropian Barlye, rye - it's process has been refined for generations

Fruit/Shandys/Lambics: BERRY LAMBIC: a fruity, syrupy dessert lambic; This lambic has replaced many desert liqueurs at dinner tables across Neu Engollon.
SHADOW SHANDY, a dark malted wheat mixed with lemonade; A unique shandy that is more bold and has more bite than many of your typical, light summer shandies.

Belgians/Saisons/Farm Ales: FERME TERRE SAISON: a creamy, but light Belgian farm style ale; Made with citrus, coriander and other spices and slightly bitter hops from the Albertville area. Just like the home kegs farmers always had brewing and on hand for daily drinking and celebrating.

Pilseners/lights/Kolschs: CHATEAUX: a light bodied, crisp pilsener, golden in color; It is a widely loved favorite for light beers in Neu Engollon and a selection that has been in their repertoire since almost the beginning.
KRIEG KOLSCH, a light, crisp beer with a light spiced, hoppy aftertaste; A traditional kolsch that has been drunk by seafaring and farming folk alike, a newer twist on an old recipe.

Stouts: SCHIELE STOUT: a thick, dark malted stout; Named after a family that gave the Confederacy two heroes. One that helped throw back the Napoleonic invaders in the early 19th Century; and the other that fought off the Austrogs during the 1920 Border War. A hearty, thick drink made for any hero, or any common man, of the Confederacy.

Lagers:
GOLDEN CROSS LAGER: A light, clean lager that has been a beloved standard of the Neu Engollian working classes for decades. Going by the nick name of 'Gee Cee', Golden Cross is prevalent across the Mederano Peninsula, but especially in urban corner bars in the Confederacy.

Ciders/Cysers: ROASTED PECAN CIDER(7.7% ABV): Pecans and other nuts and spices, plus a malting, give a robust smoky flavor to this apple based cider.
CHAI CIDER(8% ABV): Eastern Spices infuse this cider during its fermentation. A beloved favorite due to the complex, comforting unique flavors.

Doubles/Imperials: 243 ALE(12% ABV) 81 Ale with twice the wallop! Potent stuff; Just like their single malt cousins, only more alcohol and flavor to boot.
FERME HADES(8.8% ABV) Double the earthiness of Ferme Terre, a third more alcohol.

Spiced Beer: GRANPAPPY'S GRUIT (6.8% ABV) A rich, piney, earthy spiced drink that comes from a very old recipe passed down. It has a bitter aftertaste and then a sweet floral mouthfeel following that can overwhelm the senses. A strong cult favorite with many as it is usually unavailable outside the main Burgunden Breuerie.

Will you be serving food as well?: Yes

If so, include menu, link to menu or type of fare: Roclettes (small side - cheese over baby red potatoes); Spiced Meatballs (3 to a carton tray)

Would you like to be a sponsor as well?(Please fill out the sponsor applicant link, if so.): Yes

Sponsor Applicant

Name of Company: Burgunden Breuerie

Head of Company: David Toft, CEO; Jan Toft, President

Products/services offered: Beers and ciders; selling merch from Burgunden Breupubs at the tent

Storefront link: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=195848

Booth required?: Just the one tent for the beer and food, some merchandise sales of T-shirts, hats and mugs

Power requirements: for the keg pumps and the food warmers

We have been unable to confirm whether any food vendors or brewer tents will be serving shrimp, although we would recommend staying away from the South Pacific Clam Company tent as that will contain seafood for sure. As for your security, we ask that they respect our fire arm laws. We will have a detail of Pine Park agents to coordinate with your national security team, as well as soldiers of the NEDM-DGC on hand in the Pavilion and around the grounds. We will be in touch with more details soon, but should these details be agreeable, be sure to book your tickets to Burgunden now.

Thank you for being a part of a grand tradition and bringing the International flavor to our event.

Sincerely,

David Toft,
Chief Organizer of the Alpen View Beer Festival
CEO of Burgunden Breueries

Sorry once again, but I'm going to delay the start just two more days to this Friday. RL still kickin' my butt. Plenty more work done on the IC thread, including the Grounds map, OP and schedule, that are now ready to go. But not quite there yet. Still need to work out kinks in the scorinator and a couple other things.

Also, once again, this gives some of you another couple days window to get your apps in, those of you who have contacted me by TG.

PRINCIPALITY OF SMERTOLINA
MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND TOURISM
with

Image

To the Organizers of the Third Annual Alpen View Beer Festival

The businesses, ministries and people of Smertolina who participated in the previous festivals commend Burgunden Breuerie and the Confederacy of Neu Engollon on their hospitality and camaraderie, and hereby submit our joint application to return and participate in this year's festival.

We require only two tents this year, or, preferably, one large one. Iron Eagle Beverages will be the distributor of the beers and liquors produced by the Canons of St. Christopher's and the Royal Smertolinsky Farms, so all beers, liquors and soft drinks may be sold and tasted out of a single Iron Eagle tent. Food sales and tourism information will both be in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism tent.

Candidate Beverage producers
Beverage Producer name: Iron Eagle Beverages

City and Nation of Location: Smertolina City, Smertolina

Head of Company/Brewery: Tomas Grabovsky

Booth/Tent Special Requirements: see above

Beverage categories entering (Please delete categories you are not entering):

Ambers/Reds/Ryes: Blood of the Invader Red Ale: Ruby-red, with a hoppy, fruity, plum-like aroma, a smooth, malty body and a dry finish. Gold Medal Winner, AVBF2; Silver Medal, AVBF1

Pilsners/lights/kolsch: Shadow Valley Pilsner: Golden, with a small, firm, white head, this beer opens with a slight, crisp bite of bitter hoppiness and ends with a lightly malty, almost slightly sweet finish. 2-time AVBF Gold Medal Winner.

Stouts: St. Christopher’s Catacombs Premium Stout: As black as paint with a brown head, this barrel-aged stout is richly earthy, smoky, peaty and just slightly sweet, with a long-lingering smoky finish so earthy some have described it as being almost like drinking a fine cigar or pipe tobacco. Gold Medal, AVBF2. Silver Medal, AVBF1. Produced by the Canons of St. Christopher's Cathedral in Cristofslazny.

Meads/Honey beers & ales: Slivameda Plum Mead: Honey from Royal Smertolinsky Farms' beehives (noted for its floral and herbal tones) is fermented with a combination of sweet and tart plum species to produce a fruit mead that is crisp rather than cloying. Gold Medal, AVBF2. Produced by Royal Smertolinsky Farms.

Bocks/Dunkels/Marzens: Bishop’s Supper Bock: Brown with an enormous, expansive white head, this has a mouth-filling malty, buttery flavor described as being like drinking fresh-baked bread. 2-time Gold Medal winner. Popular with previous AVBF attendees. Produced by St. Christopher's Canons.

Vodkas: Ice Princess winter grain vodka: Produced according to the traditional recipe, dating from when only the aristocracy was allowed to make vodka. Distilled 5 times but eschewing modern filtration techniques, preferring to retain a distinctive character. Produced by Royal Smertolinsky Farms.

2nd Vodka entry: Crystal Eagle Vodka: A "modern traditional standard" potato-based vodka aiming for purity and clarity, quadruple-distilled and filtered through charcoal, silver and quartz.

Schnapps/Fruit based Liquors: Orli Shlivovino plum wine: an Asian-style sweet plum liqeur. Produced by Royal Smertolinsky Farms.

Other/Experimental liquors: Opoyeny Absinty; Franco-Suisse style distilled absinthe, with natural green herbal coloring, aged in settling tanks. In addition to standard herbs, a special recipe of additional herbs including mountain wildflowers and cannabis. I hadn't really thought about it, tbh. We could do that, if you want. I'm just as good with them staying put up in Konstanz, too. Obviously, being nearby, it's something Luddie wouldn't miss, but OOC the timing of the threads made it so that it was starting up as they were still up there in Konstanz.

Accepted all. I will write up an official IC response tomorrow. I'm surprised that Von Todt isn't returning. I may need Vechirek to be one of the flonking bands, if that's ok?

Also, I will be eliminating the Gaul flonking team as we should have an even number of teams for scoring, unless we get another flonking team sign up in the next few hours.

Vechirek is always happy to assist with drunken antics.

I have 2 new entertainers this time, I couldn't think of anything for von Todt, and , IC, I could say they're on tour in Austrog and arguing with each other about whether their style of music was ever a good fit for the Beer fest anyway, even though their appearance earned them a Neu Engollonan fanbase. Perhaps another time. On the other hand, Engollonans living near the festival grounds may be relieved to learn that they may actually be able to get some sleep this weekend.

The IC thread is up!

(You may have already received this as a TG) Sorry for those I missed on my TG lists, there's a lot of you:

I have now started the IC thread for the 3rd Alpen View Beer Festival: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=311319
I will probably kick off the festivities tomorrow, but for today, you can RP your vendor, brewer/distiller entrant, flonking team, entertainer or VIP arrival into Burgunden, NE, hotels and set up if you have a booth/tent or anything on the exhibition grounds. Also, for vendors, brewers and distillers, please get your tent menus for beverages and/or food up as soon as possible, hopefully today if you can. Flonking teams, if you can post or repost your team rosters, that would be great, too.
If you see anything erroneous in the OP, schedule, map or flonking posts, please let me know ASAP.

Thanks for signing up and I'm excited to get this started!
