I saw it! I just wasn't able to post because I was checking the site in the middle of a Wayne's World/Naked Gun/Fantastic Mr. Fox triple feature at my friend's house.
(also technically it's 800 pages, but that's pretty cool too)

From the looks of it, we'll hit 1,000 before the year is over.

People who used the words "flak" and "flack" interchangeably upset me. They are completely different words.

It looks so interesting... But it also looks like a lot of reading to understand.
98% of all NS users would cry if they had to read a lot to understand an RP, regardless of how good it was. If you're one of the 2% who simply would sit back and laugh, copy and paste this into your sig.

Haha... Okay. How are the character relationships though? My experience has been most military RPs, everyone's a jerk, a sadist, or a socipoath. Usually all 3.

We've only got the one real and true sociopath, and evidence is coming to light to show he may just be a big ol' softie in need of a hug at heart (Smythe). And besides, he makes such good tea that we'll forgive him not being very emotionally "there".
The rest of the squadron has some more upbeat fellows (pretty much only Carter, really, but he's such a goofball he counts for like three people), some cold-blooded bastards (Page post-Highwire, Stanford, Talbot), and the rest residing somewhere in the middle. No sadists, really, I don't think any of our guys actually get off on inflicting pain and death in any sort of truly pathological sense (enjoying it for the sake of vengeance doesn't really count in my assessment here). No "jerks" - I mean, we'll occasionally be assholes to each other IC, but we do a pretty good job of making it be reasonable given the context.

Excalibur's too elite for the sociopaths and sadists, really. That kind of shit is amateur hour. Excalibur just does the job better than anybody else.

Why's that?

Also, short of her massively fucking up, and somebody else pulling off some epic win in whatever issues are being discussed in 2 years, I can't see myself not voting for Hillary.

Something tells me that I'd prefer Dubya (again) over you. And considering what that man did to my adopted homeland, that's really saying something.
