Powers/abilities:

• He can remove and reattach parts of his body, which he can control remotely as though they were still attached. This extends to his head, eyes, heart, and other vital organs (he has to reach inside himself to pull those out, though). However, his head and vital organs can stay detached for no longer than an hour or he dies.
• He can heal small cuts, scrapes, burns and bruises in seconds; medium injuries in about a minute; and major injuries (such as broken bones and particularly large cuts, scrapes and burns) in about 5-10 minutes. If any of his body parts are destroyed, he needs to eat organic material (the more of him that is destroyed the more he needs to eat), and then he can regenerate the body part (a finger in a few minutes, a hand or an organ in about 10 minutes, and an arm or a leg in about an hour). Of course, if his head is destroyed he dies immediately.
• He can alter his physical appearance and parts of his body (including bone, muscle, fat, skin, hair, nails, etc) extensively, though he is always obviously human. This can be used to cause his bone to protrude through his skin as a makeshift weapon.
• He can play dead; i.e. he halts all (or, if he chooses, one or more specific) bodily functions so that, for all intents and purposes, he is dead, though from his perspective it's as though he's asleep. This can be used to avoid drowning or asphyxiation (as he does not need to breathe during that time). He can come out of this at any time. If this is maintained for any longer than an hour, he dies for real.

Weapons: His bones. And, like, I guess he could throw his organs at people if he really wanted to.
Personality: Independent and strong-willed, Lucifer doesn't like to take shit from anyone, and he's not afraid to stand up for his beliefs. That said, he doesn't necessarily like to get into physical fights. However, if he feels that it is worth it, he will fight to the bitter end. Stemming from his father's leaving when he was young, Lucifer harbours a feeling of abandonment, and suspects that he might be able to win his father's love if he can make a difference in the world. Also, he is very liberal in his beliefs, and supports equal rights for all.
Likes: Writing poetry, reading poetry, learning new and interesting things, fighting for a worthwhile cause, smoked salmon, maple syrup.
Dislikes: Bigots, big business, globalisation, fighting pointlessly, people who don't like maple syrup.
Bio: Lucifer was born to a pair of university professors in Vancouver, Canada, an only child. His mother was extremely liberal: she was in support of socialism, sympathised with social outcasts, and was an activist for several social rights and environmental movements. His father, while also fairly liberal, was much less so than Lucifer's mother, and was a proponent of tradition and "fitting in with society." As such, Lucifer grew up hearing political and other debates every day between his parents.

Now, when 2000 rolled around, he was only 2 years old, and while his mother was gifted with powers, his father was not. Luckily, being in Canada, life went on as normal for them. Lucifer started going to school a few years later, his parents continued teaching at UBC, and they were relatively happy (aside from the occasional spat between his parents, but of course that was normal anyway). At first they weren't sure whether or not Lucifer had gained any powers, and while his mother wished fervently that he had, Lucifer's father was suspicious of the whole ordeal. However, they found out when the boy first entered Grade 1 and one of the other children (who had the ability to slice things telekinetically) accidentally chopped Lucifer's hand off. Of course, Lucifer, the teacher, and the other children were all shocked and afraid. But that shock and fear was doubled when his hand moved. And not just like a twitch. It's fingers wiggled, and then it clenched into a fist, then unclenched. Then Lucifer, having quickly adjusted to his new situation, nonchalantly reattached his hand, and that was that.

When Lucifer was 12, his parents separated. In the end, their different opinions on certain matters -- notably the human/meta-human situation -- put too much strain on their relationship. His mother supported equal rights for both groups, while his father became less and less trusting of meta-humans, cutting off all ties with Lucifer and his mother.

Over the next few years, the boy dealt with his trauma in various ways. He tried both drugs and alcohol, and neither really appealed to him all that much. He began adopting a more androgynous look, and had several hook-ups -- both male and female -- throughout high school, though none of them got too serious. When he was 16, he began writing poetry, and by the time he was 17 he'd decided to become a poet. His mother, of course, was supportive of his hobby -- but just as that; a hobby. She was convinced that he needed to have a main money-making job and could write poetry on the side. Lucifer -- or, as he'd begun styling himself by then, "Lucy" -- disagreed, claiming that he didn't need money; that he could get by on what he wrote. They had many arguments regarding this, sometimes escalating into full-on shouting. When he graduated, he was accepted into a few universities, but had already decided that he would take a gap year and travel the world to write poetry and figure out what he would do with his life.

He's been tripping around France for a few weeks now, and has recently arrived in Paris.

Telekinesis - Hanna is one of the most powerful telekinetics on Earth. Besides (supersonic) flight, she can fire telekinetic blasts strong enough to shatter reinforced concrete walls up to a meter thick, lift vessels the size of an American America-class amphibious assault ship, and exert a pressure equivalent to 200 GPa (with concentration and extreme pissed-offness, of course). She can force explosive ordinance to detonate, create force fields, and even regenerate limbs, though she's not too good at that - yet. Her personal favorite? She can imitate Edward Newgate's devil fruit ability.
Telepathy - Both categories of telepathy, of course. Hanna can both listen to and transmit thoughts at quite a range. She cannot turn off her mind-reading ability, nor can she retract its immense range.
Subconscious Reading/Manipulation - A far more advanced power than mere telepathy. Hanna is capable of understanding the subconscious of others, and manipulating it to a degree, including inception of dreams and memories and, with intense concentration, even erase things within the subconscious. Such as knowledge of herself or her presence, though this renders her unable to use any other power, and greatly reduces her ability to fight due to the effort necessary to pull it off.

Besides this, she is a skilled pilot, mountaineer, backpacker, and a fairly skilled fencer.

Personality: Hanna can best be described as three personalities, the only real constants being her love of Bier and Die Mannschaft. In the presence of other nobility, royalty, or world leaders, she puts on that air of good-girlness, that noblesse oblige that so often characterizes the apex class, going even so far as to use the majestic plural in such situations. In public around strangers, or while being the good soldier, she is the typical disciplined German, with a level head, polite and cordial. Around close friends, however, her true personality appears: She drinks, she tells hilarious/embarrassing stories, and, very rarely, will crack a dirty joke, though most of her jokes are either clean or political. Were she permitted by Imperial law to have premarital sex, she probably would enjoy it. She likes good food, she likes good drink, especially good beer. Her loyalty, while hard to earn, is fierce and extremely difficult to lose, much like her trust. However, she dislikes lying, partly because lying to a telepath is pointless - They know. But what she especially enjoys is life on the razor's edge: Not just in combat, but in extreme conditions. Rather tsun to people she's romantically interested in.

Bio: Hanna was born in 1993 to Wilhelm and Maria von Bayern, both at the time dukes of Bavaria and (Wilhelm being) the son of Franz, Duke of Bavaria. Hanna lived on that silver spoon for much of the first seven years of her life, even through the Olduvai Event and the Monarchist Revolution that would see a rather surprised Franz declared King of Germany. He of course only lasted a few months before dying of a combination of old age and surprise at his new title, landing WIlhelm in the throne and Hanna as next-in-line. She was perfectly content with this, and perfectly happy sitting on the laurels of luxury.

And then, one day, she went out for a walk in public with the family's head maid. Now, it must be made clear that the Wittelsbachs had been anything but discrete about their only child's ability to read minds. Walking in public, with a still-sizable number of Republicans, anti-Germans, and people who were just plain frightened of her [Or worse, flat-out insulted her as a monster/freak/etc] is never good for a child's psyche. The combination of realizing how friendless she was and the fear and hatred the public had for her put her in a deep depression that lasted for several years.

It was in late 2003 when life delivered several quick events that brought her back out. Firstly, she discovered an autobiography by Sir Edmund Hillary and became at once smitten with the idea of climbing mountains, an interest that soon spread to other worldly extremes. She quickly expressed her desire to go and explore the world to her parents, who at first objected, but would eventually cave in a few weeks later, allowing her to go on a trek in the Alps.

It worked. Afterwards, she became more confident, bolder, and eventually decided that the best way to help herself ignore the thoughts of those people on her walks was to simply prove them wrong - prove to them that she was worthy of leading a country. She would do this by doing just about everything except staying in the palace. From her 12th birthday to her 18th, she was never in the palace more than a few weeks at a time. In those years, she has been to the top of Mount Everest, Kangchenjunga and K2, the brutal cold of Amundsen-Scott Station, the blistering heat of both the Sahara and Danakil Deserts, gone hiking in the Atacama Desert in Chile and the jungles of Ecuador and the German Congo.

It was on her eighteenth birthday, however, that she joined the German Army. Due in large part to her specific skills, she was put in the Imperial Heer's fledgeling metahuman special forces division, where she served for two years in the German Congo, alongside Mongol forces in their 2012 failed attempt to liberate Afghanistan, and stabilization efforts in rare combat alongside the UN in India.

It was after that Afghanistan tour she started working in CAD, the brainchild of Tom Walker. She genuinely liked the idea of the concept, as did her parents; her mother especially was a known supporter of CAD and was part of why they often used German transports or weaponry. Hanna herself requested to have Tom Walker train her in the areas she felt at the time she was weakest in - CQC, sharpshooting, and most important of all, RTI.

She passed the extra training with flying colors, her skills most especially apparent in CQC, RTI, and survival training. All of them became especially important in one of her more recent missions with the CAD: In North Nigeria, she was captured while engaging in AFH efforts to overthrow the extremist government and was harshly interrogated, the interrogators even going as far as gouging out her left eye before she was rescued. She survived, naturally, and told them nothing.

Right now she's on a much-needed 'home tour' as she calls them, protecting human smuggling trucks in eastern France near the border with Germany.

Not exactly. In the original you were stuck with your starting powers, they simply got stronger over time. I'll have to think about getting more.
