Fish With No Name

The Fish With No Name is the most popular fish-related movie franchise of all time and second only to Mr. Quackers among all movie franchises. The first three entries, A Fish Full of Doillars, Forty-two Dollars More and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Duckling, were released as a trilogy in quick succession all in one summer. The series is almost certain to continue, though the producers are secretive about the next installment.

A Fish Full of Dollars

Synopsis: The world's first fish bounty hunter sets out to tame the West with his deadly .44 and his steely eyes.

Trivia: The fish who plays the Fish With No Name is a lifetime member of the Fatatatutti Rifle Association (FRA) and an acknowledged expert on firearms. All of the weapons used in the movie were from his personal collection.

Tagline: "Bloop!"

Forty-two Dollars More

Synopsis: The Fish With No Name continues his quest for truth and justice in the Wild West, this time teaming up with the mysterious Colonel Mortimer.

Trivia: Although the character Colonel Mortimer is believed by many to be a cameo appearance by Alphonse, he was in fact played by a duck who looks like Alphonse.

Tagline: "Forty-two dollars buys a lot of dead flies."

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Duckling

Synopsis: The Fish With No Name (the "Good"), an angelfish (the "Bad") and a duck who looks like Alphonse (the "Ugly Duckling") fight over a cache of stolen loot.

Trivia: The bridge was actually blown up seven times because the duck who played the "Ugly Duckling" thought it was funny. Rumours that the fish who played the "Good" was eaten twice by the duck who played the "Ugly Duckling" have been denied by the fish's representatives.

Let the River Run

Synopsis: A young Army Lieutenant leads her platoon on her first mission - to haul two howitzers across a raging river and up the side of a mountain.

Trivia: Although the movie is based on an actual incident in the career of General Marie-Louise Castro-Stalina, the Lieutenant is never explicitly identified. Filmed entirely on location. The Army loaned one howitzer and a fiberglass replica was used for some of the more dangerous sequences.

Quote: "Leff-tenant, since the water is so very deep and your legs are so very short, I'm sure nobody would think the less of you if one of the bigger fellas was to pick you up and carry you across like a piece of luggage."

Awards: The song "Let the River Run" received an award from the Fatatatutti Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (FAMPAS).

Sergeant Biter

Sergeant Biter is Fatatatutti's second most popular duck-related movie franchise, next to Mr. Quackers.

Sergeant Biter

Synopsis: Tough but lovable Army drill sergeant Biter guides a platoon of misfits through basic training.

Trivia: Nobody was bitten during production of the movie. All biting was simulated by stunt men and stunt ducks. The Army did not officially endorse the movie but it did acknowledge that the training procedures depicted are authentic, though flying over obstacles is not encouraged.

Sergeant Biter Bites Again

Synopsis: Sergeant Biter is assigned a dangerous mission behind enemy lines - and he's leading the same gang of misfits that he had in basic training.

Sergeant Biter: First Bite

Synopsis: A prequel to "Sergeant Biter" about an idealistic young duck who enlsts in the human-dominated Army. Mayhem and biting ensue as he works his way up from duck private to sergeant while fending off the amorous advances of female soldiers.

Trivia: Flashbacks featured actual childhood photographs of the actor who played Biter. (Spoiler Alert) Explosions in the grenade scene were added digitally because the producers felt it was too dangerous to give live grenades to a duck.

Quote: (First word) "Bi-ter!" (Last words) "Congratulations, Sergeant Biter."

Sergeant Biter: Waddling Tall

Synopsis: Sergeant Biter goes on leave, only to find that his home town has been taken over by a motorcycle gang.

Trivia: The duck who played Sergeant Biter did all of his own motorcycle-riding stunts.

Sergeant Biter Five: Bite for Freedom

Synopsis: Irascible but lovable Sergeant Biter is called out of retirement to lead a group of elite Romeo Foxtrot commandos. The mission: rescue hostages from a hijacked airplane. The complication: his ex-girlfriend is one of the hostages - but which side is she on?

Trivia: Filmed with the co-operation of the Army. Spoiler Alert: The duck who played Sergeant Biter wanted to do his own stunts but the scene where his head comes off was done by a stunt duck.

Off the Reservation

Synopsis: Police detectives search for a missing tourist who has, apparently, lost track of time and forgotten to go home. Or has he deliberately gone "off the reservation" because he has something to hide?

Trivia: The Fatatatutti Five-O Flying Squad, whose members are portrayed in the movie, has pronounced that it is an accurate depiction of their procedures. The events in the movie are an amalgamation of several cases and are not intended to represent one specific incident.

How to Borrow a Whale

Synopsis: A rare screwball comedy with no non-human characters. A bunch of misfit surfers try to get rich quick by taking tourists on whale-watching tours. The catch is that they can't find any whales, so they decide to "borrow" a life-size fiberglass replica from the local museum.

Trivia: The Whaling Museum would not allow their whale replicas to be removed from the museum for filming so the producers built their own. It had ballast tanks so it would float realistically low in the water and it carried a crew of three. After filming was completed, the whale was sold to a local entrepreneur for an undisclosed purpose.

Quote: "You lost a whale? How could you lose a whale?"

Mr. Quackers

Mr. Quackers is Fatatatutti's most successful movie franchise. It is estimated that every Fatatatutian has seen at leat one Mr. Quackers movie and many have seen all of them dozens of times. The franchise has been somewhat less successful overseas.

Most of the Mr. Quackers movies have been produced by the prolific team of Albert Asparagus and Percy Pepperman. More than a dozen directors have been involved and at least twenty ducks have played Mr. Quackers.

The Mr. Quackers movies are neither dubbed nor subtitled. Mr. Quackers is often the only duck in the cast but everybody seems to understand what he says.

The Abominable Mr. Quackers

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers is suspected of being a serial killer and struggles to evade the police while trying to prove his innocence - but will the real killer catch up with him first?

Trivia: One of very few Mr. Quackers movies to be filmed in black-and-white, for the film noir look.

All the Fine Young Quackers

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers is the proud father of a dozen bouncing baby eggs but when Mrs. Quackers leaves him to babysit, mayhem ensues. Then the eggs begin to hatch and mayhem really ensues.

Trivia: In some scenes it looks like Mr. Quackers is deliberately rolling the eggs around with his beak but in fact they are all radio-controlled.

Animal Quackers

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers gets a job as a zookeeper but on his first day a lion goes missing. He makes a substitute out of a chair and a mop to fool the visitors and his boss until he can find the real one - but then the substitute goes missing too.

The Bridge on the River Quackers

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers leads a commando team to blow up a bridge on a river that's inexplicably named after him.

Trivia: The bridge was blown up six times because the duck who played Mr. Quackers thought it was funny.

Calling Dr. Quackers

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers, who turns out to be a qualified doctor, has a series of adventures and misadventures in a city hospital.

Trivia: Cameo appearance by the Three Stooges as Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine and Dr. Howard.

Captain Quackers on the High Seas

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers may be a mild-mannered suburban duck by day but he leads a double life as the notrious pirate Captain Quackers, hounded by the law, rolling in treasure and making excuses to his wife.

Trivia: A publicity stunt by the producers, in which they announced that a vast treasure was hidden "somewhere in the theater", was abruptly cancelled after several theaters were destroyed.

Christmas with the Quackers

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers wants to play Santa Claus for the Quackers children but he locks himself out of the house, falls off the roof (temporarily forgetting how to fly) and gets lost in the chimney. Little does he know that the children are on to him and are trying to help him - to get him out of the way before the real Santa comes.

Trivia: The original title, "Quistmas with the Quackers", was considred too confusing. Cameo appearance by Sean Connery as the real Santa Claus. (Spoiler Alert) A black stunt duck payed Mr. Quackers covered in soot from the fireplace because the duck who played Mr. Quackers didn't like to get his feathers dirty.

Quote: "Claus. Santa Claus."

Constable Quackers: To Serve and Protect

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers joins the police but his dreams of heroism soon become harsh reality. He tracks down a "dangerous criminal" only to find out it's the Mayor - and meanwhile the real bad guys are pulling off a robbery right under his beak.

Trivia: (Spoiler Alert) The safe was blown up thirteen times because the duck who played Mr. Quackers thought it was funny.

Ducking the Issues

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers attends an Alphonse impersonators convention and is mistaken for the Presidential candidate. (Apparently, he is the only one at the convention who actually resembles Alphonse.) Hilarity ensues as he fends off amorous advances and assassination attempts.

Trivia: Filmed on location at AlphonseCon 2014. Because the final results of the election were not known at the time of filming, the announcement is drowned out by a loud quacking, which some have interpreted as a victory quack and some have interpreted as a protest quack, depending on their political affiliation.

Disclaimer: The Poultry Farmers' Revolutionary Army (PFRA) is a fictitious organization and any resemblance to any real-life organization is purely coincidental.

Everything is Relative

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers is expecting a visit from his great-aunt Cornucopia, the matriarch of the clan. Will she name him as heir to the family fortune or will he be left without an asparagus tip? Mayhem ensues when he is inundated by relatives and would-be relatives, all hoping to cash in.

Trivia: Some of the crowd scenes at the family picnic were taken from footage of the Million Duck March. (Spoiler Alert) Aunt Cornucopia's car was blown up seventeen times because the duck who played Mr. Quackers thought it was funny. The duck who played Aunt Cornucopia did not, even though she was only in it the first three times.

Happy Quacksgiving!

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers misreads the calendar and, thinking he's going to a Halloween party, he shows up for Thanksgiving dinner in a turkey costume. Hilarity ensues as he tries to avoid becoming the main course while fending off the amorous advances of a female turkey who is also on the run.

Trivia: The female turkey did her own stunts. Several takes were ruined because her glasses kept falling off. Several stunt ducks and stunt turkeys doubled for Mr. Quackers, who was too clumsy to do the prat-falls convincingly.

Head for the Hills!

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers takes a wrong turn and winds up in the middle of a hillbilly feud. The problem is that the hillbilly ducks think he's on the side of the hillbilly humans - and the hillbilly humans want to eat him. Further mayhem ensues as he tries to fend off the amorous attentions of daughters from both families. Violence warning.

Trivia: The dueling banjos scene was dubbed because the producers couldn't find a duck who could play the banjo convincingly. (Spoiler Alert) The still was blown up seven times because the actors who played the hillbilly ducks thought it was funny.

Quote: "What's a Duckworth?"

Inspector Quackers of the Yard

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers is a Scotland Yard detective who must locate the missing Crown Jewels but every step he takes unravels a deeper and deeper mystery.

Mr. and Mrs. Quackers

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers finally asks his girl to marry him and she accepts - but can he get to the wedding on time?

Mr. Quakers: A Beautiful Mime

Synopsis: In another foray into show business, Mr. Quackers meets the girl of his dreams but he can't even get her to talk to him.

Trivia: Although "A Beautiful Mime" was filmed after "Mr. and Mrs. Quackers", his marriage is not acknowledged in any way. Each Mr. Quackers movie is intended to stand alone, according to the producers.

Mr. Quackers and the Temple of Doom

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers stumbles on a murderous cult in a mysterious underground temple and mayhem ensues as he tries to free the imprisoned victims.

Trivia: Mr. Quackers' side-kick, Short Round, was played by a duckling in an egg suit. The signature gray fedora was added digitally because the actor who played Mr. Quackers didn't like to wear hats. Several counterfeit versions are on display at various locations.

Mr.Quackers: Back in School

Synopsis: When the children need help with their homework, Mr. Quackers realizes how little he really knows, so it's back to school to brush up on the basics. He plays football, he fends off the advances of an amorous cheerleader, but will he graduate?

Mr. Quackers Down Under

Synopsis: On a business trip to Australia, Mr. Quackers has a series of misadventures involving a jolly swagman, an amorous kangaroo and a duck-proof fence.

Trivia: Filmed on location in Fatatatutti's southwestern "savannah" region, which (supposedly) resembles Australia. (Spoiler Alert) The duck-proof fence was blown up four times because the duck who played Mr. Quackers thought it was funny.

Mr. Quackers Flies South

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers flies south for the winter and runs afowl of the Ku Ducks Klan.

Trivia: Originally a mallard was cast to play Mr. Quackers instead of the tradtional white duck. However, the producers decided that audiences weren't ready for such a radical departure so they recast a white duck as Mr. Quackers and gave the mallard the role of the villain.

Mr. Quackers Goes Hawaiian

Synopsis: It's off to Hawaii for the international surfing championships where Mr. Quackers fends off the advances of an amorous hula dancer and tries to foil a jewel robbery.

Trivia: The duck who played Mr. Quackers was an excellent swimmer but he had to have his feet duct-taped to the surfboard during the surfing sequences because he kept trying to fly away. Cameo appearance by Patrick Swayze.

Mr. Quackers Goes to Town

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers wins a trip to the big city and mayhem ensues.

Mr. Quackers in Space

Synopsis: A descendent of Mr. Quackers in the future battles a merciless madman bent on ruling the universe.

Trivia: Also known as "Mr. Quackers in the 25th Century".

Mr. Quackers in Spooks A-Walkin'

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers inherits a haunted house and mayhem ensues. Special visual effects by Harry Rayhausen.

Trivia: (Spoiler Alert) The "ghost in the washing machine" sequence required thirty-seven takes because the "ghost" kept catching fire.

Mr. Quackers on the Silver Screen

Synopisis: Mr. Quackers gets a part in a movie and he has to deal with a tempramental director and the advances of amorous starlets. Then "accidents" begin to happen and Mr. Quackers tries to find out who is responsible, and why.

Trivia: Shot on a very small budget. Some scenes were done by directly filming the crew as they worked, so it gets a bit confusing as to what is the movie and what is the movie about the movie. According to the script, the duck that Mr. Quackers was playing had never been in a movie before and he kept forgetting what "Cut" meant. (Spoiler Alert) Some of the explosions had to be set up multiple times because the duck who played Mr. Quackers thought it was funny.

Quote: "Cut! Cut cut cut cut cut cut cut!"

Mr. Quackers Rides Again

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers inherits a dude ranch but little does he know that the local banker wants the land and will stop at nothing to get it. Mayhem ensues as our hero fights off henchmen and romances the local school marm.

Trivia: The actor who played Mr. Quackers had never ridden a horse before and had to have his feet duct-taped to the saddle for some of the more difficult stunts.

Mr. Quackers Quacks Up

Synopsis: Newspaper reporter Mr. Quackers infiltrates a psychiatric ward to find a missing heiress but once he has his story he finds it harder to get out than in.

Trivia: When the movie opened, several theaters were picketed by the Fatatatutti Psychiatric Association (FPA) because the hospital's sign was misspelled "Piecreatic". All prints of the film were hastily recalled and re-spelled "Piechiatric" with a Magic Marker. Rumours that the FPA will change its name to Fatatatutti Piechiatric Association have not been substantiated.

Mr. Quackers Through the Looking Glass

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers is on video perpetrating a one-duck crime wave - but is it the real Mr. Quackers? Our hero sets out to clear his name and finally comes beak-to-beak with his look-alike nemesis.

Trivia: According to some rumours, the same duck played both Mr. Quackers and his double but others suggest that as many as four different ducks played each of them. The producers have denied vigorously the notion that that "all white ducks look alike". (Spoiler Alert) A stunt duck sustained minor injuries in the scene in which Mr. Quackers fights with his reflection in the mirror.

Mr. Quackers versus Godzilla

Synopsis: While visiting Japan, Mr. Quackers encounters the legendary monster. Mayhem ensues when he turns out to be a distant relative.

My Dinner With Mr. Quackers

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers and an old friend discuss a variety of topics over dinner.

Trivia: Despite being almost entirely dialog, this movie - like all duck-related movies made in Fatatatutti - is neither dubbed nor subtitled. When asked what the ducks are saying for two and a half hours, viewers suggest that most of the coversation is about whether to call the meal "dinner" or "supper". Also released under the title "My Dinner With Alphonse", though Mr. Quackers' friend is never explicitly identified as Alphonse.

A Quack in Time

Synopsis: While trying to fix the toaster, Mr. Quackers accidentally invents a time machine, with hilarious results. Among his adventures he tries to save his relatives, the dinosaurs, from extinction and he tries to rescue the Duc a l'Orange from the guillotine during the French Revolution.

Trivia: It is incorrectly believed that the Godzilla suit used in Mr. Quackers versus Godzilla was used for the dinosaurs in this movie. In fact, the dinosaurs were created by stop-motion animation by the legendary Harry Royhausen. However, Mr. Quackers did wear the same bow tie in both movies. It is now on display at the Planet Fattywood restaurant.

Quackers of Arabia

Synopsis: While working for an oil company in the Middle East, Mr. Quackers unwittingy becomes the leader of a group of revolutionary tribesmen.

Trivia: (Spoiler Alert) The train was blown up three times because the duck who played Mr. Quackers thought it was funny. As a result, the movie went over budget by almost 100%.

Quote: "Qua-ckers! Qua-ckers! Qua-ckers!"

A Quistmas Quacker

Synopsis: Mr. Quackers is trying to get home for Christmas but he is foiled at every turn by transportation problems, an over-friendly doorknob salesman and an irate Santa. Will Mr. Quackers learn the true meaning of Christmas?

Trivia: The original title, "A Christmas Quacker" was considered too confusing. The Santa suit worn by Mr. Quackers is on display at the Fat City Hard Rock Cafe.

Quote: "There's no place like home. There's no place like home."

Señor Quackers, el orgullo de las Pampas

Synopsis: A rare Spanish-language outing for Mr. Quackers, in which he is a gaucho contending with ornery cattle, desperate outlaws and amorous señoritas.

Trivia: Directed by Señor Spielbergo. Señor Quackers' sidekick, Pancho, was orignally supposed to be played by Cheech Marin but he had to drop out at he last minute so he was replaced by a lighting technician, who is credited for both jobs.

Quote: "Creo que me rompí la clavícula."

Long Pig

1942

Synopsis: A Japanese pilot runs out of fuel and lands on Fatatatutti with a bizarre story about a world at war. The military reluctantly go on alert but are unable to find any sign of a war. Meanwhile, the pilot descends into madness. Described by one critic as "an uneasy blend of spy thriller, comedy and science fiction".

Trivia: Cameo appearance by the Fish With No Name as Admiral Yamamoto.

Fish

Actor, best known for the TV series "Alphonse and Fish" and for the Fish With No Name movie franchise.

Biography: Fish is a member of the "fishi fishi" species, a common food fish in Fatatatutian waters. Abandoned by his parents at an early age, along with his hundreds of siblings, he grew up in the tough environment of the coral reef. He changed schools often but soon he was bitten by the acting bug. (Somebody later quipped that he was lucky there wasn't a hook attached.) His first professional appearance was in a stage production of "Jaws" and he finally made it big when he was cast to play Fish in the TV series "Alphonse and Fish", which turned out to be a monster hit. On hiatus from the show, he made the Fish With No Name trilogy and instantly became an action hero as well as a comedian. He also takes time out from his busy schedule to appear in plays such as "Death of a Sailfish".

Trivia: Rumours that Fish has been eaten several times by his co-stars and secretly replaced are vigorously denied by his representatives.

Beware the Goldfish

Synopsis: Based on a real incident in which the submarine Goldfish seized the slave ship Bondurant, freed the slaves and cast the crew adrift in an open boat.

Trivia: The captain of the Goldfish, Lieutenant Anni-Frid Ulvaeus, was played by the same actress who has played General Marie-Louise Castro-Stalina in other movies. Her resemblance to the Lieutenant is far more striking than her resemblance to the General. In the movie, she wears her signature white turtleneck and yachting cap throughout but the real-life Lieutenant only wears them ashore. White clothing is far to hard to keep clean on a submarine, she explains, and headgear is seldom worn below decks. The goldfish mascot is also a figment of the movie; the real-life Goldfish has no living mascot.

Quote: "My ancestors crossed the ocean in small open boats. I'm giving you the same chance that they had."

Apolcalypse Not

Synopsis: Based on the real-life experiences of General Marie-Louise Castro-Stalina during the peace-keeping efforts along the Auftragsreich-Neurepublik border.

Trivia: Filmed on location. Fatatatutti's tropical jungle substituted for the more temperate forests of Auftragsreich and Neurepublik. Some viewers who were natives of Auftragsreich and Neurepublik could not tell the difference and asked where in their nations the filming took place. The General, who is in fact a petite blonde, was portrayed in the movie as a buxom redhead. Her real-life call sign, "Goldilocks", was changed to the more appropriate "Riding Hood". (Spoiler Alert) Brief nudity when the General is wounded.

Awards: The musical theme "Trio", which accompanied the climactic three-way confontation, received the Best Song award from the Fatatatutti Music Association (FMA).

Fry Hard

The Fry Hard franchise is an obvious attempt to cash in on the phenomenal popularity of the Fish With No Name spaghetti/fish Western franchise. Fish stars as a big-city cop in "Fry Hard" and "Fry Hard 2: Catch of the Day". The anticipated "Fry Hard 2: Extra Crispy" has been delayed due to complications in post-production and is expected to be released as "Fry Hard 3: Extra Crispy". According to one critic, "Long on stunts and explosions, short on everything else."

Fry Hard

Synopsis: The Fish With No Name returns as One Tough Cop with One Big Gun - and he is all that stands (swims) between the city and a gang of ruthless terrorists.

Trivia: The fish who played the Fish With No Name was given medical treatment twice on the set for hooks in the mouth. According to his publicist, he could never resist shiny objects. Several stunt fish also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Fish's gun was so big that his bowl had to be taped down to prevent it from tipping over. (Spoiler Alert) Some disturbing scenes with Fish flopping on the floor among the broken glass.

Quote: "This is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world. It will blow you clean out of the water."

Fry Hard 2: Catch of the Day

Synopsis:In a plot driven by confusion between the words "tourist" and "terrorist", our illustrious fish-cop (the Fish With No Name) is transferred to a quiet coral reef but mayhem ensues when a group of "terrorists" descends on the community.

Trivia: The use of the term "fish-cop" has caused many to believe that a new fish-related movie called "Fish-Cop" is soon to be spawned.

Birds of Paradise

Synopsis: Spectacular aerial scenes loosely tied together by a very thin plot as pilots of the Air Corps' Birds of Paradise aerial exhibition team perform at an airshow.

Trivia: Since most of the movie was compiled from existing footage of the Birds of Paradise, very little new film was actually shot. It is believed to be one of the few movies in which editing cost more than filming. Because the footage was filmed over a period of several years, the colour schemes of the aircraft change throughout the movie.

The Elephantom

Synopsis: A rare animated feature in which a mild-mannered circus performer by day becomes an invisible superhero by night.

Trivia: Fatatatutian film-makers prefer to shoot live action, even if the main characters are ducks or fish, but the producers couldn't find an elephant actor who could play invisible convincingly, so they reluctantly opted for animation.

Edwood Woodwoodhands

Synopsis: An offbeat fantasy with a muddled plot involving a man who makes very bad movies, an actor named Edwood Woodwood and a mechanical boy with wooden hands.

Trivia: The real-life actor Edwood Woodwood was not available due to prior commitments so the part was played by a look-alike. The confusion between the characters Edwood Woodwood and Edwood Woodhands is sometimes erroneously attributed to a missing page in the script. A recent survey indicated that a majority of Fatatatutians believe "Edwood" is a common given name in England.

Quote: "I got wood."

Young Santa Claus

Synopsis: A military transport aircraft is diverted on a mission of mercy, makes a dangerous landing on an atoll with no airstrip and discovers that there is no way to take off again without leaving the cargo behind.

Trivia: Although the movie is based on a real event in the life of General Marie-Louise Castro-Stalina, the young officer in charge is never identified by name. She was not a pilot at the time, though she has since qualified both in multi-engine and rotary-wing aircraft. Because there are no suitable coral atolls within a reasonable distance of Fatatatutti, an artificail atoll was built on stilts less than a kilometer offshore. Camera angles had to be carefully controlled to avoid showing Fatatatutti in the background.

Quote: "The pilot is in charge of the aircraft but the senior officer is in charge of the mission as long as we're on the ground. That's you. Only you can decide to offload the cargo. I can't decide to take off until you do."

It's a Fat, Fat, Fat, Fat World

Synopsis: A madcap chase as a group of crazy characters race to find Captain Dexter's fabulous treasure, which is buried under a "big W".

Trivia: Cameo appearances by many Fatatatutian and international celebrities including Edwood Woodwood, the Three Stooges and Eric Cartman. As many as forty cars were destroyed during the making of the movie. Some stunts had to be repeated several times because various cast members thought it was funny. In addition, three airplanes were crashed and almost a dozen buildings were blown up or burned down. There is a common misconception that a ship was sunk as well but in fact it only ran aground.

The Coconut Grove and the Mini-Mall

Synopsis: A taut political thriller with the scene shifting back and forth between the coconut grove where Parliament meets and the mini-mall that houses the offices of the Foreign Ministry. An international "situation" threatens war; can the politicians and the bureaucrats get together to prevent it?

Trivia: The movie's running joke that every government office is in a mini-mall beside a BunsMaster bakery is an exaggeration. According to a government spokesman, at least one office is beside a Tim Hortons. Cameo appearance by President Mickey Chang as himself.

Quote: "It's raisin bread day."

Support Your local Gunfish

Synopsis: A comedy fish Western which is not part of the Fish With No Name franchise but a good imitation. A mild-mannered fish arrives in Dodge City only to be mistaken for a notorious gunfighter. Mayhem ensues as he unwittingly terrorizes the town.

Trivia: The same Western street set was used as in the Fish With No Name trilogy. It is, in fact, the only Western street set in Fatatatutti. Only the signs on the buildings are changed to make it look like different towns.

Tagline: "This bowl isn't big enough for the two of us."

A Million Miles From Home

Synopsis: A Fatatatutian submarine in the Atlantic Ocean is stalked by a mysterious enemy. Thrilling adventure as her crew struggles to get home.

Trivia: The entire movie was filmed on a sound stage with the main set being an accurate mockup of a submarine's interior. Cameo appearance by Sean Connery as SubAt, the Commander of Submarines in the Atlantic. The original title was "A Million Klicks From Home" because Fatatatutti uses the international metric system but the producers thought that "Miles" sounds better. Loosely based on real events.

Mr. Quackers

Synopsis: The earliest existing movie to feature the Mr. Quackers character and one of few surviving silents. The plot is somewhat ambiguous but Mr. Quackers waddles frenetically through a series of adventures and misadventures including a romance with a pretty girl (human, that is), a barroom brawl and three car chases.

Trivia: Not part of the "official" Mr. Quackers canon. Scenes from the movie can be seen playing on a TV in the background of "All the FIne Young Quackers". Restored by film students at Fatatatutti University (FU). (Spoiler Alert) The scene where the car races the locomotive had to be reshot several times because the locomotive kept hitting the car and destroying it, apparently because the duck who played Mr. Quackers thought it was funny. It is not known whether any stuntmen or stunt ducks were injured. Rumours that the cost of replacing the cars contributed to the demise of silent movies are believed to be an exaggeration.

The Biters of Wimpole Street

Synopsis: Not part of the official Sergeant Biter franchise but the events depicted are considered part of the Sergeant Biter canon. The Biters, a family of ducks living on a quiet suburban street, constantly exasperate their human neighbours by making noise, eating flower beds and breaking everything in sight. The most poignant scene has their young son going off to join the Army, much to the consternation of his parents and the relief of the neighbours.

Trivia: The voices of the ducks (known as the Quack Track to duck-movie afficionados) were "volume-enhanced" because the producers felt the ducks weren't annoying enough. (Spoiler Alert) The neighourhood was blown up before the cameras were ready because the ducks who played the Biters thought it was funny. Because there wasn't enough footage for the movie, some scenes of nuclear tests were added.

Quote: "That's one less Biter to ruin my flowers and one more Biter to ruin the Army."

The Adventures of Fuffy

Synopsis: Some have called it a "ducksploitation" movie made to cash in on the Fatatatutian fascination with ducks. The plot follows Fluffy, an egg with feet, through a series of adventures and misadventures involving several fights, car chases and explosions, as he attempts to finish hatching. In the meantime, he has to contend with the amorous advances of various females.

Trivia: During the recent Presidential election campaign in which candidate Alphonse used his childhood nickname "Fluffy" in his advertising, the following disclaimer was added above the titles: "This motion picture is a work of fiction. It is not intended to depict any real characters or events. Any resemblance to persons living or dead is strictly coincidental." The producers considered using computer-generated graphics for the main character but for various reasons they settled on a duckling in an egg suit. The theme song, The Ballad of Fluffy, was nominated for several awards.

Fish Tank

Synopsis: Based on the popular comic book about a fish who fights crime from inside an armoured vehicle.

Trivia: The Fish With No Name was unavailable but the movie's producers discovered that fish who look like him are easy to come by. (That fact has fueled many rumours that the Fish With No Name has been eaten several times by his co-stars and secretly replaced. The producers have vigorously denied those rumours.) Released in Europe as PanzerFish.
