The city-state is home to various large businesses in the Kingdom: such as the Bank of Yohannes, ensuring the city's position as the financial & banking centre of the world. It is also home to multiple branches of some of the largest GE&T index-listed foreign multinational companies operating throughout the Kingdom, such as CuppaCoffee, Maritime Imperial and VLT.
Te Whanganui-a-Tara is infamous for its atrocious weather - consecutive raining days, notorious wind and its cold temperature - and as such, has been criticised as one of the world's 'most terrible city to live in.'
