The rain might make you more vulnerable to something you already have coming on, but the rain itself doesn't make you sick.

And I live in Washington (nicknamed the rainy state for amount of rainy days, though not so much for total precipitation), and been out in the rain many times with no problems at all.

The rain itself has no means of making you sick. I believe it can lower you immune system, allowing you to get sick faster if you've already got the germs, but the rain itself doesn't make sense to make you sick.

Brief Summary on Group/Person:
Like Liliana's village, Léonce's camp was attacked by the AFA Group, and his parents were killed. Since he was one of those who did not resist and did not kill any of Josh's men, he was allowed to live, but as a slave. He is quiet and calm , sort of like Aden, but he acts more mature. He has a strange attachment to guns, though he doesn't have one. As a child, he was used to work, so he doesn't have many problems at the base with Josh's men. Due to his silence, however, he is often targeted by nutty Steven.

Technology Summary: Léonce was taught to hunt with as M4 by his uncle and father, and with many others.
