Wolffbaden's military especially under Kaiser Heinrich's vision is to keep the military as equally even in numbers as possible. It is a nation of some 125,000,000 people, with a military of over 30 million.

Infanterie

20,200,511 Heer (active troops)
10,000,000 Landwehr (reserves)
1,000,000 Panzertruppen/Cavalriekorps (tanks and tank troopers/cavalrymen)
750,000 Artilleriekorps (guns and gunmen)
85,570 Fallschirmjaegers (paratroopers)

Luftstrietkrafte (air force)

50,000 Kampffliegers (fighter crewmen/pilots)
40,000 Bombenfliegers (bomber crewmen/pilots)
47,416 fighters (BF-109 "Emils" are the standard fighters/escorts)
41,655 bombers (J-87 Stukas are the standard light bombers; Z-30 "Condors" are the standard medium bombers- and can also carry paratroopers)

We have no naval air service units or indeed aircraft carriers, as we only border the Black Sea.

Reichsflotte (navy)

~30,000 sailors (estimate, since we also hire mercenaries and are in debate over considering the merchants as employed in the service of the Kaiserreich)

2,000 ships

290 battleships (Konig Klasse)
500 heavy cruisers (Elbing Klasse)
600 light cruisers (Pommern Klasse)
300 destroyers/escorts (G48 Klasse)
310 submarines (Tieferschiffe Klasse)

Again, we have no naval air service units or aircraft carriers because the only major body of water we have access to is the Black Sea, small compared to the Mediterranean, North Atlantic, and indeed the North Sea, Baltic Sea, and Arctic Ocean.

In the air over The Slavic Union
General Kalision moved towards the cockpit, he needed the pilot to change course towards Harperians, he needed a place to hide, for he carried the Imperial Signet, and with it, he would become Emperor when his father died.
General Kalision: “Karl, I need you to start going to the northwest”
Pilot Karl: “ Sir, excuse me but I thought they were our second visit?”
General Kalision: “That was a ruse in case anyone was listening in on our conversation. Turn northwest; we should be there in a few hours.”
Pilot Karl: “Yes sir.”
Smiling General Kalision Devorick, son of Optine Devorick, or his official title Lucion I, headed back to his seat, only a few more hours to go.

In Greek Highlands,Prevania:
Colonel Draven watched as his men set the bombs upon the bridge, everything was going to plan except two things. The main army should already be here by now, and there should be that many gun shots in the distance, the population was reacting a lot faster than anticipated. Breathing in he began issuing orders to build foxholes.

Somewhere off the coast of New Caldaris
Submarine Y-112
25 meters submerged.

Captain Yel, sat in the eerily quiet sub, waiting for the clock to hit 12.
11:59:57
11:59:58
11:59:59
12:00:00
Captain Yel: “Fire torpedoes one through three at the port”
The crew hustled and the silent hush of torpedoes leaving there tubes sounded through the sub, Captain Yel was calm, knowing Y-113 would be doing just the same, now they had to wait and see if they had blockaded the port.

In the Air over Nevistro:
Lt. Hauken watched as the 4 bombers decimated the defensive line, where the hell had these bombers come from he didn’t know. But he was going to guarantee they would not get home.
Behind him flew the other 5 Be-101 single propeller planes, he signaled over the radio for them to pursue and destroy, while the two squadron for 11 bi-planes each flew over the city to protect it from further bombings.

Defensive Line Outside of Nevistro:
Pvt.Cullings looked on in amazement as the men 25 meters to his right disappeared in a fiery explosion.
Only a few moments ago they had been planning to follow the advanced forces in and now they were on a full defensive stand.
Sgt. Lictor: “Tanks incoming, looks like a whole bunch, Pvt. Call the artillery into action”
Pvt. Cullings sat there stunned still not believing this was happening,
Sgt.Lictor: “ PRIVATE, call in those god damn light guns before we get killed”
Pvt.Cullings:” Ye,yes sir, calling Light Artillery brigade, need immediate support, fire on the main road, armor incoming, I repeat armor incoming.”
Off to his left 5 armored cars exploded after several artillery shells fell down upon them.
Sgt.Lictor: “Damn it we needed those cars, this place is going, ahhhhhhhhhhh”
Bullets ripped through Sgt.Lictors right arm
Pvt.Cullings turned back to the battle scene, and began firing.

Artillery Position, interior defensive line of Nevistro:
Lt. Yavuke, looked at his map trying to figure out where the main road was, shells constantly pounded around him, he had already lost a good 40 guns, turning to his aide.
Lt. Yavuke:” Alright tell them to hit here at these positions fire everything we have, and that includes the little mustard gas we got.”
Aide:” But sir, isn’t the wind blowing towards the city?”
Lt.Yavuke:” Just do it now”
Aide:” Yes, sir”
The aide ran off quickly to tell the guns the firing position, as Yavuke turned back to his map, he didn’t have long to look, as a shell tore through his body, and made it a fine mist

Military Bunker Underneath Nevistro:
Lucion looked at his Field Marshall as he read the telegram from Harperians
F.M. Ilvor: “Sir do you think it is possible to get you out of this city?”
Lucion: “Don’t worry about it commander I have already sent my son away with the royal signet.”
F.M. Ilvor: “ Sir, you what?!”
Lucion: “You heard me commander, now what I want you to do while our telegraph lines are still up, is get the Second Imperial army back to the Capital, we need those tanks, and your main goals is to cause enough casualties that they sue for a cease fire, I at least want to give my people time to get out of this city”
F.M. Ilvor: “Yes sir, and what about you?”
The ceiling shook above the string of bulbs bounced back and forth
Lucion: “Me, I do not want to see my country fall with me still alive, so I am going to take my Imperial and guard and charge the enemy lines.”
A.M. Luft: “You can’t do that my Emperor, I am sure we can sneak you out with one of our planes we can…”
Lucion cut him off
Lucion: “No, I want you to have your planes fill the sky take down those bombers, have our bombers hit their lines, get them back from Greece NOW, Also have the Grand Admiral destroy both the secret sub and cruiser we are building then make a brake for Frenca.”
The two military commanders stood there standing and waiting
Lucion: “ What are you waiting for, go now!!!!”

Lucion waited for them to leave, before heading towards the armory, where the rest of his guard were already outfitted, there were 15 of them, 10 in heavy armor with light machine guns, 5 in medium armor with flamethrowers, and his metal armor waited for him, with the Imperial sword to follow by his side.

Port Hestern:
Aboard the Neversto:
G.A. Kointz reviewed the telegraph, as the Neversto left port, headed towards Frenca, looking back at the port he watched as the dry docks and the submarine pins blew in a blaze, all was lost, now he had to get to Frenca, or there would be nothing left.

Eastern Front:
There was already Artillery shells landing when he got the telegraph to head back to the Capital, to provide a last stand defense.
Lt. General Hoft: “Alright we are to turn back, let’s cut our losses and defend that Capital to the last man”
The few men who were around cheered before getting to the task of issuing the orders over the radio. It would take a few hours to get back he hoped that would be enough time.

Over the Eastern Front:
Air Group I
Lt. Pointz, quickly radioed the change of plans, as he flew 1 of the 4 Be-101’s back towards Nevistro
The 20 bombers flew with the 25 bi-plane fighters, they needed to get there power there quickly.

Bulgaria:
Advance Group B:
7,000 Infantry, 3,400 left
Lt.General looked over the bank at the advancing soldiers, waiting to spring his trap, they would wait for this group of soldiers to get into the middle of their hiding ring of soldiers, before lofting as many grenades as they could into that spot and then firing every last bullet into them, he wondered where his reinforcements were, they had yet to come, and with the passing of planes and tanks he didn’t know how long his men could hold out.

Warsaw Presidential Residence

It was late at night when the King heard someone knocking on his door.

'Your Highnes! Your Highnes!'

It was Jan, his personal assistant. Nicolas knew it was urgent, as he would never intrude on the King's sleep. He sighed and managed to force himself to sit upright.

'Yes... I'm up. Come in.'

The force with which Jan entered the room was admirable as much, as his effort not plummet down on the floor.

'Your highnes. One of our telepgraph stations received an answer from Novistrania.'

'This soon... show it to me at once!'

He looked at the brief bit of paper and sat there for a whole minute, mortified. He knew Lucion was a bit crazy, but this surpassed his own oppinion by tenfolds. Yet, he could not stop admiring the man's dedication to his own people.

'So... he's going to buy them some time... poor bastard, I am truly going to miss him...
Jan! Send word to Kozlowski, tell him to make sure they inercept an airplane with these codesigns. When they do, they are to lead it directly to my personal hangar and hide it. The whole thing is classified to only people with top-level clearance. When they land, fetch my car and bring the passengers here. Let me know as soon as it happens.'

'Yes, your Highnesss' he said and left the room.

The King got up and walked to the window. For some odd reason, looking outside on the sky calmed him down. And this was one of the moments, when he needed just that. Many thoughts passed through his mind then, main one now was, how to best receive Kalision, the new Emperor of Novistrania.
There was one more thing to do - he needed to secure passage for as many Novistranians as possible. He swore years ago that he won't ever break a promise.
Deciding that he wouldn't get back to sleep today he moved towards his wardrobe. The night was going to be a long one, he dicided, probably one of many to come....

1939 Day 5 In the air at the border between The Slavic Union, and HarperiansPilot Karl scanned the skies between the lowland areas, when in the corner of the cockpit, he saw the flash of moon light upon 2 fighter aircraft, his body tensed as he turned and screamed,

Pilot Karl: " We have 2 interceptors coming fast, orders, orders"
Kalision Devorick leapt out of his seat, rushing quickly to the cockpit, seeing the view of two planes pass by quickly, he let out a long sigh of relief while his heart beat a drum line within his chest.
Kalision: "Calm down Karl, those are Harperian planes, they are probably just here to guide us in,"
His claim was soon proven true when the radio buzzed with there identity and then there request to follow them to an airfield.
Kalision walked on his shaky feet back to his seat, that had been a scare he did not wish to relive, and what worried him the most, was how the situation in Novistrania was going.

April, 19 1936
Today many festivities were held all across the Federation. The election of the new Prime Minister has come to a close and... Vaelhan Hughes has won! This unassuming man in the '20s was a revolutionary against the corrupt Monarchy, now this young outspoken individual has inspired the hearts of the Federation with his speechs against Facism and Imperialism and his claims he will have the insurgency in Iceland will be defeated before 1940 and to restore the suffering economy by opening millions of jobs involving the country's defense. Patriotic Fervor filled the streets of Copenhagen. Today is a great day to be a Javoulian.

Aarhus, The Federation of Javoul
A urgent meeting was taking place as the pompous ministers and a few gruff generals met in an undisclosed location to discuss the crisis in Europe.

"We must remain neutral at all costs." claimed Daniel Shweizer, the Minister of Economics, "Our economy has just rebounded from near collapse and goodness knows the powers that be have more larger armies that could bring Javoul ruin."
"I see, so we roll over at any sign of trouble?" General Olaf Schmidts mused. "We have a small, yet professional force. Not many can make that claim. Any that dare attack us should know we are not to be trifled with."
A few mumurs were made between the men. Throughout the debate on the course of action the Prime Minsiter lay silent, absorbing all that was said and making a decision. His word was final.
"We shall not look for trouble, comrades. We must look for those we can depend upon and work to defeat these power hungry men who seek only glorify their names in the annals of history." He paused for a moment, fearing he may of been a little too dramatic. "There are those who speak out against these blundering nations and sometimes it isn't a bad thing leaning on others to help us with our problems. We simply do not always need might to put ourselves in a favorable position but rather put others in politically weak spots."

After a few more words that discussion was over, all agreeing Javoul needs steadfast allies in case of invasion.

"But what of the Insurgency in Iceland?" Inquired the Minister of State, "We will look weak in the eyes of the world if we cannot keep our provinces in order."
"They'll be destroyed soon." General Olaf replied, "We will meet with their leaders in order to accept the independence of Iceland."

"But-"
"Then kill them."

Dear Emperor,

We would be most interested in forming some sort of military alliance with you. Novastrainia should fall to our forces swiftly, leaving them free to untertake other activities. In particular, I would be interested in biulding a relationship based on mutual gain. Thus, I would propose that we sign a non-aggression pact and that we agree to partition the weak nation of the Slavic Union to our east.

Yours sincerely,

Madrid, Spain -1939

Night fall came, the cold lonely European night brought the longed comfort that only the breeze and tranquility for the King. Aah, finally I can rest.
The world has gone loco. Across the continent he knew, the war are being raged. What a travesty of life, he didn’t knew how many life has been taken. Yet he simply can’t afford not to care, at least, not now. To his East, the Falasia declared war against to another Eastern neighbor – the Frenca.

What madness.

Though Spain is still living in peace, he could not help but wonder when will his precious peace loving country will be plunged into the hell fire. Soon? No, he will not become the pawn of others. The rival lords of empire may seek for his help. Should he aid? Perhaps.

King Raphael knows, one wrong move, then his country will pay the price.

What madness! This is all loco!

The night was so tranquil. He hope to keep it in his country also, for that, he decided; his small Spain will remain neutral at best for now.
It is simply not the time for his country to wage war yet. For now, he will order the military to expand first...then his highness will see, where the wind of fate blows Spain future to...

A response:

We have only one interest: to reunite the Germanic nations in a Triple Alliance. Then, we may decide what to do with this world. It is the Kaiser's personal interest that we should divide it up, rule in peace and prosperity, and form an unbreakable union for the ages. We are tied by historical diplomacy to the Narcidians. The Slazics hate us for this.

Reykjavík
The meeting was underway in the old, secondary royal palace of the former regime of the Javoulian Kingdom. It was full of history. Its creation inspired the minds of many in what seemed to be the golden age of the nation. Now it was simply maintained for by the ministry of culture for its part in Javoulian culture and history. A large group of civilians piled up at the gates, held back by Javoulian soldiers. The Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of State, General Olaf Schmidts and a few popular rebel leaders, most notably their de facto leader, Tyerance Shaws. The group was met with a mixed reaction of cheers and boos as they entered. The meeting had begun.

The gentlemen all sat in the dining room with guards posted around the perimeter.
"Let us begin." Said the Deputy Prime Minister, " I do hope this meeting will end the bloodshed once and for all."
"We simply wish for Javoul to leave our country, we are tired of being your puppets." Shaws curtly replied.
"We're willing to allow you nominal auto-"
"NO! We will not live a false sense of freedom, we shall break away as a free Icelandic Republic!"
"You are not in a good negotiating positon Shaws, you're lucky we offer anything at all!" The Minister of State sneered.
"We will fight until your armies leave our lands."
General Schmidts stood up and took aim at the rebel leaders and fired a shot at each one of them. He then turned and shot the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State. The Soldiers placed weapons on the rebels, making it seem like they attacked first. General Schmidts then ordered a soldier to shoot him in the leg to complete the foul play and was then rushed to a hospital. News quickly spread to the rest of Iceland and Javoul in Greenland and the mainland. News soon spread to neighboring countries about the incident. Many people now turned against the leaderless rebels and many people within the insurgency were arrested. The Rebellion was finally over.

The King's Office - Warsaw, Harperians

Grim news on a grim day.
That was what sprung to King Nicolas' mind. The rain outside constantly pouring over the roof of the building. The sky had taken upon itself to remind him, how grim his time was for the last few days. It was weeping after the Novistranians killed within the past few days. The King was just finalizing dispositions for his Ministers, as he was about to go meet Lucion's son, due to land any minute.
He changed the plans at moments notice, planning to send decoys in his car, just in case the news has already reached anyone else. He doubted that he could keep this quiet for long. As usual, he knew, there would be a lot to do after he comes back, but he had no choice. No news arrived from the leaders he sent telegrams to, and that started to cause more concern.
He was only 30, yet he already started to show signs of rapid ageing. Wrinkles were not really his concern however, too much time spent sitting in his office (and it did not matter how comfortable the chairs were) were already taking their toll on his back. But he did not have much time to ponder his own carnal problems, as Jan, his aide, knocked on the door.

"Come in, Jan"

The King always knew when it was Jan knocking on the door. The elderly gentleman entered the room. Jan has served his family for the last 50 years, since his father employed him after one of his international trips. He was the only person fully aware of all of the Kings' problems, and there was always mutual understanding between them, as he was the one educating and spending most of his time with Nicolas, as he was growing up.

"Your Higness, I am afraid that, again, I am the bearer of ill news. It seems that the uprising on Iceland has been stopped... permanently"

The King could not hide the surprise on his face.

"But... how can this be?"

"It seems that though they were offered autonomy by the Jovoulans in an open meeting... this is where the details are a bit shaky. The news is that they opened fire on the Deputy Ministers and wounded Gen. Shmidts. After that, his own personal guard acted to defend the general. None of the Insurgency leaders survived."

The news was grim indeed. It weighed heavily on the King's heart, as he did sent some support for the Rebellion not long ago - mostly food and clothing though. The outcome did trouble him though, however there was nothing he could do now.

"Thank you, Jan, now please prepare my car"

"Yes, Your Highness"

The King turned his mind to the matters at hand, one last though in his mind, he whispered it to himself.
"Well, one way or the other, the Rebellion is over...."

Varrock, Narcidia

"The post has finally arrived, Majesty." The voice of an aide sounded through the chamber, yet again the Queen was staring out at the Reichstag; still burned just as black and unchanged as every day. "Bring me the letters then." She answered calmly and softly. The aide muttered a yes and removed himself from the room quickly going to retrieve the post. Isabella lowered herself into a chair that she sat by the window so she could sit and think and stare out with slight comfort at the city below the imperial palace. The aide returned in a timely manner with a few letters, two of importance one of personal importance.

The Queen lifted a letter opener that the aide brought with him and sliced into the letter from the King of Harperians, reading quickly yet slowly enough to absorb what the document pertained. When finished Isabella sighed and thought deeply; she was always approving of the Haperian Kingdom; they were fair excellent leaders usually and had a great sense of humanity. It made sense to resist the powers of the east at their side, did it not? On the other hand her Germanic blood called out to the telegram she opened next, reading over the lettering from the Kaiser of Wolffbaden who called out for an alliance of all Germanic nations; this she was to say warm to but not entirely in support of, all the same she decided to try her hand at both, with of course much care. "Pen and paper, if you please." She requested, not ordered of the aide at her shoulder who then went off to secure the materials desired. He returned in a few moments and set out a small table for the Queen to write at. She set to work straight away.

To: King Nicolas of Harperians
From: Queen Isabella of Narcidia

Nicolas, I cannot express how well you've noted my feelings. I do long for peace and would prefer to avoid war for as long as possible. But I admit that you are in the end, correct. I will of course support you as best I can, and devote the resources and power of the Narcidian Kingdom to your cause and our common defense. For without one another there is little chance against the Slazengarian Empire.

Isabella

To: Kaiser Heinrich I of Wolffbaden
From: Queen Isabella of Narcidia

The whole of Europe, Heinrich? I was not aware that we were all marching off to war just yet my friend. However I do understand how you mean; with more nations mobilizing each passing day I doubt that anyone will be uninvolved for very long. I have already sent a telegram to the King of Harperians regarding such things. I shalln't divulge you any further in that though; I must after all respond to your proposal. While the idea of a Germanic Alliance does bring my germanic blood to front and immediately makes me want to say yes; I must take the safety of my people into account even those who are not germanic. As such, if only for now my friend I must decline your offering of such a noble and prestigeous alliance. Do not fear though as I am sure this will only be temporary. I will come to your aid if and when you need it.

She then sent her aide to send a messenger to Wolffbaden with her response to the Kaiser, she turned her letter to Nicolas over to the messenger that came with his.

Wonderful. This alliance between our nations will prove to be very fruitful and prosperous. As to the matter of partioning the Slavic Union, well we shall see how the situation goes before making any official decisions on that matter.

Signed,
Emperor Tybus Heth

We thank you for your support. However we will not be needing aid to take care of the Novastrainians, however supplies and aid may be required in a possible upcoming 2nd Balkan War caused by the Slavic Union. We would also like to inquire about forming an alliance with your nation. It could only benefit the both of us and bring prosperity to our people.

Signed,
Emperor Tybus Heth

The Sarnien Empire was growing, no longer were they an isolated people in the mountains, now they needed to expand to feed their burgeoning population. The country was forging weapons of war, they would descend from the mountains in a fury of destruction.

The Capital - Glarus

The chancellor stood at the door of the administrative complex, the only sound the rustling of paper as hundreds upon hundreds of clerks stamped various forms and moved the records of state about, the scribbling of pens could faintly be heard. This was the sound of bureaucracy and the well oiled engine of state. As he turned to leave from his inspection, the sound of a small army of ministers greeted him. He sighed, knowing he would have to attend to matters of state far from the peace of the paper room as it was called; the diplomatic conference he would be holding would announce the direction of the state in relation to the recent wars. Within an several hours several diplomats left, going to the local telephone exchange to send their messages to their respective countries.

Having observed your progress against the Frencan's and the proximity of your nation to our own we would like to extend a hand of welcome, so as to create a military alliance between our nations. This precludes the possibility of Military intervention on your behalf.

The Inquirer:
Europe is in the midst of Chaos. Wars sprang everywhere between nations everywhere for anything between border disputes to 'liberation' and or simply conquests. What remains unknown is what the neutral nations and uninvolved countries shall do and act about this crisis. The small yet bold nation of Novistrainia invaded Prevania, New Caldaris while Slazengara invades Finland and Wolfbaaden. In Central and Western Europe it appears where peace prevails the strongest with Narcidia, Harpians and Javoul minding their own business, or so it appears? Rumors have spread these nations are mobilizing for war, details are not known.

In other news, it appears a Javoulian pilot has crashlanded in Narcidia, the old 74 year old Viktor Stein has crashed outside of Hamburg during one of his many trips throughout northern and central Europe. His family have mentioned he was eccentric after the war against the Greenlanders and Javoul. Narcidian citizens claim they saw the plane's cargo being dropped all over the place the frightened people believed they were being bombed but Stein simply dropped glass. A Narcidian complained about his arm being covered in it after he unwittingly stuck his hand a unopened box. Soon after the dropping, Vikot was shouting intelligibly as he lost altitude presumably from the lack of fuel. "HEIL JAVOUl!" He shouted then the crash killed him as he crashed into a rather large tree.

Javoulian military numbers:

Royal Marine Korps:

The Javoulian Navy: 50,000
40,000 personnel

7 Destroyers
10 Cruisers
20 U-Boats

Javoul Air Command:

Aircraft:
3,000 Fighters
2,000 Bombers
1,000 other aircraft
15,000 paratroopers
10,000 supporting roles anti-air divisons.

Legion Von Javoul:
Numbers: 100,000
Vehicles:
500 Light Tanks
2,000 Light Artillery
1st Army 25,000
5th Army 20,000
12th Army 15,000
8th Army 10,000

Javoulian diplomats are sent across Europe as Interventionalism is becoming more supported by the populace as world powers begin to invade countries everywhere.
